A great resort for families or group outings. The place is a bit outdated but they offer great amenities such as a decent fitness room, pool area and outside lounging with firepit. The resort golf course isn't too shabby.
Room was nice but asked for a view of the lake and got a tiny view of it and mostly of a house. Activity center was closed. One of the restaurants was closed until the weekend.
Love this place come here every year for our anniversary. Rooms are great, restaurants are great. Everything about this resort is amazing.

I traveled to the resort last year and had great time with my children. With the great memory and experience, I invited my parents and brother's family this weekend. However, the plan was almost cancelled. My mother had an accident yesterday and she has been hospitalized over 24 hours. Due to the emergency situation, I contacted your resort and Expedia (I made three reservations via yours and Expedia) for a possible date change. I knew it was against the policy, but you guys were very friendly and helpful; you offered to change the date without any charge.
Thank you for being cooperative, kind, and nice. Fortunately, my mother is now being discharged and she actually wants to travel. We are traveling as we planned. We are very excited to travel as planned and we are more excited just because we now know how good your place/service is.

Its a little classic/outdated but thats what i like most about it. They are also sticking money into upgrading it yet managing to keep the original feel. All of the bathrooms are really nice that i saw from the updates. You also cannot beat the view of the lake. Restaurants on site had good food as well.

Great place for a steam punk convention ... no close off-site food options. Hotel wine is very good, and the buffets are about as good as buffets get ... overall layout is sprawling, which makes trekking from room to events & back tedious, Decor is rustic, tho a bit over-the-top for my tastes, but if you love giant 8x8 beams everywhere, you'll like it more than me ... giant open, outdoor courtyard and beach are wasted in March.
The Espresso and Ice Cream Shop need to put espresso milkshakes on the menu ... I custom "order" them all weekend, but they never remember year to year!
I had an awesome time here. Was a great experience with my wife and 10 kids. They have a lot of things to do for all ages.

Lake Lawn Lodge is a wonderful place to come with your family and friends. It s right off gorgeous Lake Delavan and the rooms are spacious and clean - most having a beautiful view of the lake. The common areas (indoor and outdoor) including the pools, fire pits, seating areas to eat are also very clean and all the staff are very kind, courteous, and take COVID-19 safety measures seriously. In addition, Manager Todd Griffin, from partnered location across the lake (Delavan Lake Resort) took extra special care of my family - exceeding our expectations and making our stay at both locations second to none. We do appreciate your efforts - going above and beyond- to make our stay perfect. We have fond memories and will definitely be back soon. Thank you!!
Golf course and they have rock the lake with beer and food also have different events nice environment and the lake is right there
We had a wonderful time at the Sky Circus on Ice on Saturday.
We stay here at least once a year with our boys since they were 6 or 7. (They turn 11 this year!) The boys both love it, the pool / hot tub area is nice and usually not over crowded, over the winter we re usually the only ones in there!
The restaurants onsite are nice, there s a grill & pub style restaurant as well as a more upscale dining option available.
We live around 45 minutes away and usually surprise our boys with last minute stays and they always love it.
Definitely a place I would recommend.

For those of us who live in proximity to north central Illinois/ southwestern Wisconsin, Lake Lawn Lodge is a true gem. Built and maintained as a true lodge in the Wisconsin tradition, it is a respite in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. They have taken every recommendation to keeping their guests safe. The rooms are warm and comfy. And the food at their restaurants, especially at the Frontier, is top notch, with warm and attentive service. I write this review with a bit of reservation, because of how much my husband and I love this retreat from the craziness of our times right now.
They've come a long way. Being right on the lake is a huge plus.
Nice rooms, but the sofa sleeper needs attention. Plenty of space in the suite that we stayed in with a group of five. Pleasant deck to sit on and gaze at the lake.
They always have some kind of event going on. They do a great job hosting them. The only downside is getting out if they dont have someone directing traffic it's a nightmare to get out. Just make a right out of the resort and turn around down the road. It will make your life and everyone's behind you that much better.
We were there for a wedding. The grounds are gorgeous! Housekeeping was very accommodating. The rest of the staff seemed liked they were tired of taking care of people
Very few things about the restaurant and it's menu make sense. Service is sub-par to terrible every time we come.

I don't go to this resort but we were driving by the resort on our way to work and a golf ball went straight into our window. Hit my brother in the side of the head and broke our windshield. I don't know much about the inside of the place but if you drive past this resort watch out for flying golf balls.

This is an adult hotel that allows kids. It s nice, it s has things for the kids BUT THE ADULTS have to be present.

Absolutely love this place! Great place for a weekend getaway, an event, or a place to take the kids to. If you are looking for a place that has it ALL, with affordable prices, I would definitely come here.
We had a wonderful time. I went with my 88 year old mom, asked for a room with some privacy and they delivered. We had a wonderful room with a wonderful view and about as private as it could get there. I had a phenomenal facial at the spa, which has been newly renovated over the last few years and it couldn't be nicer. Ask for De in the spa, I was extremely pleased with my spa experience. The food was very good, especially the burgers. In the nice restaurant, food was good (but not great). The service overall was good everywhere, though, even though our waitress was very friendly and helpful in the Frontier Dining room, service was slow even though hardly anyone was in the restaurant. I found most everyone there most helpful and friendly and will definitely go back.

Dirty bathroom, shower with hair, not cleaned at all.... Frontier restaurant overpriced, not seasoned food at all. Beautiful view and great massage.
This place is absolutely splendid! I go here all the time with the family. They host a classic car show which we enjoy a bunch. Aside from that, they have 3 pool areas, 2 outside and one indoors. Rooms are beautiful and have great views of Delavan Lake. They also have a game room for kids, bars for the adults, and a few restaurants. I will definitely try to get down there again soon!
Beautiful property. The lake views are pretty, and so calming. We love it here year round! The food in the restaurants is delicious. The service at the front desk is top notch.
Park the car and you never have to leave. Swim, fish, take a walk, rent a boat or just sit back enjoy the view and sip on a drink. Several dining options. Lots of families with children and couples too!
Couldn't get in room til 4pm but wanted to clean room at 9am next morning. Over rated. Everything was very expensive. Pools too chlorinated. Employees were nice. Wouldn't go back.

Probably the worst place you will ever sleep in. I found roaches in the bathroom area. Sheets smelled like left over sex. Terrible service, floors creek. do not stay at this here unless you want a rash from sleeping on dirty sheets
Only moored our boat there for 1 month.Marina staff very helpful BUT other boaters VERY disrespectful of fisherman as they race by at high speeds in their jet skis and ski boats.

We have tried to stay to Lake Lawn Resort every year with our teenage kids. This year we couldn't stay over, but since it's an easy drive from Chicago's north suburbs we just went up for the day to rent a boat from their on-site boat rental. We tubed on the beautiful lake for a couple of hours (thanks AJ for the above and beyond help when our tow rope got caught), played mini golf and shuffle board, and had a tasty dinner at the Lookout, which overlooks the pool and lake. A fantastic day to be with our now college-age kids. The staff all wore masks, and many precautions were taken. Some guests weren't as considerate, but we were outside so it wasn't such a concern.

Have visited since it was Lake Lawn Lodge and the owners improved the grounds continuously through the years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food choices seldom disappoint and the grounds are professionally kept.
This resort was wonderful! My husband brought me for my 21st birthday. I can honestly say Ive never had a better one. Staff is friendly, pools are excellent, bike riding, boating on the lake, ect. The Lookout is the best bar ever! I miss their food and drinks and cannot wait to go back!
Was there for the Nutcracker. Not a good venue for that type of performance unless you were in the 1st row.
Cold winter weather on the inside too! Our room was extremely drafty; our door to the balcony leaked in cold air on - 0 day! Had to wear our jackets to walk through the hallways every time we went out; Heaters worked but hallways were literally like you were walking out side; lots of kids everywhere; groups running through halls ; yelling and bumping into you; not a good pick for relaxing weekend; limited in room coffee supplies, coffee maker leaked, firm like bed and small pillows; otherwise had nice decor; the spa service was not very experienced, but they were friendly.
Grear place to relax in the winter time. Right price too.

Lots to like here ... nice gifts, decent food in a not so fancy restaurant environment, outdoor areas are wonderful. Room was very good, but not 4-5 star resort. Still recommend highly for the area.
