During the second week of July this year, I travel...

During the second week of July this year, I traveled to MO to spend a weekend with my son and my daughter in law. When we arrived at the lodge, we discovered that our room was not as nice as the pictures showed in the website and that we were not in the main building as we assumed (we didn't know there were multiple facilities). The building that housed our room was like a Motel 8 hotel; old and dated and it seemed not too clean. The pool was crowded with some special corporate group that was staying that weekend. Guests seem friendly but the staff at the pool bar not so much!. The pool water was also very cloudy and not once I saw anyone monitoring the chlorine in the water. Being that there were so many people in the water they should have had someone doing this. Needless to say I didn't enter the pool. When I came back home and check my receipts I noticed two receipts that had $16 and $51 tip; the other had $16 and $33 tip. I screamed to my husband this is wrong! Sure enough I called the accounting manager and she reversed the tip charges that were being posted to my credit card. Also there $67 receipt didn't have a signature so I disputed this one via my credit card. When you go on vacation and you pay this much money you really should come back feeling like it was a lot of fun. In this case we were feeling like we were victims of fraud. Fraud committed by the employees and Fraud committed by the reservation department. The rooms in the motel building should be rate and priced lowel that the ones in the main building. Don't get rob!
