My customer service with LocalTel has been nothing short of amazing. Every interaction with the company has been polite, punctual, and professional. The service has been great, fast, reliable and a genuine value. I recommend LocalTel to anyone who is looking for Internet, TV, or Phone. I have all three services and I am completely satisfied.
I just had LocalTel out to install a 2nd line for us. Technician's were highly professional and knowledgeable. They found that we were not receiving as much bandwidth as we were expecting. They were able to troubleshoot and to call in the PUD to handle the needed repairs. Everything was handled within 12 hours and we have BLAZING fast connections at our house.

We are very pleased with our service from LocalTel - they did a great job of moving us from farm to city. Tim did a good job of setting us up and even brought his own vacuum cleaner and cleaned up the area where he had to drill through the wall, etc. Very pleased. Good speed and dependable. I have worked with and had Localtel's services since they started offering them. I have always had good service and friendly people. I just had my Sky-fi converted to Fiber. The installer was happy, cheerful, helpful and respectful of my home. He was Awesome.. Thank you
Pleasant and efficient tech crew in Moses Lake. The tech support phone number is useless on weekends and nights, for it connects a customer with a person with no ability to do tech support... only write up a work ticket... and say that "it is a tower problem," and that is insufficient: IT IS FRAUD. If you had a toaster that only worked five days a week, what would you think of the company that made and services that toaster.
Let me begin with the things I really like about this company. Their service is excellent, everyone who you deal with is pleasant and polite and generally tries to help you.
We live in Chelan and use their service called sky fi. It is truly horrific, The service goes in and out at all times of the day. Today it s 3 o clock and my computer is not working because we can t connect to the Internet. Because I work from home mostly, Internet is essential The service goes in and out at all times of the day.
We have called many times and, as I stated above, they re always super pleasant, but what is the use of a Wi-Fi service that doesn t work on a consistent basis? They seem incapable of fixing it and may not have the technical Expertise to actually address the problem.
I don t believe I have ever left a one star review for any business I have frequented. I m at my wits end though and I do believe that it s time that this problem is addressed on a public platform. Hopefully that will spur the senior leadership of this company to actually address this so it gets fixed permanently. As I stated above, I really do like this company, but it s inexcusable to have a technological service not work consistently.
What is also interesting, is that I have probably called seven times in the last two months and never have they offered any discounts, refunds, or anything of that nature. I own my own business and when we don t deliver a promise service, we always offer the customer reasonable compensation. Not with Localtel.
I recently transferred my internet service to my new home, and added a basic television package. I have been very happy with the entire experience, from how quickly they were able to get me scheduled, their willingness to work with my difficult work schedule, and the level of service that I received. Justin was my technician, and I was very impressed with how friendly and professional he was, and the great job that he did.
Great customer service. I did a DIY install of my Internet and the customer support folks were very helpful with minimal waiting times...and, I received follow-up calls to make sure things had gone smoothly. Much better than past experiences with national outfits.
We bought a house recently and had to set up a new account/service. LocalTel's customer service was awesome and they were very patient via the phone as we set up our wireless.

I want to give a huge shout out to Candy in business services. Last night our power went out. Of course it had to be the hottest day of the year! Candy worked with me diligently to help get our phones switched over to our answering service for the evening so that we could continue to help customers with air conditioning or plumbing emergencies. She also provided great follow-up the next morning to make sure we didn't need anything else.
Took quite a bit of lead time to get the whole process done but once the installers arrived everything went smoothly and works great, very happy with the high speed internet.
I love the customer service staff... From my experience from the customer service with Lisa, and Tracey, to the billing Dept... Wonderful. That's for taking care of my internet at home, and my phone and internet services at my Day Spa... Your one of a kind!!!

Installation crew showed up on time with everything they needed to set up internet and phone. Took less than half an hour for installation, set up and testing. Everything was as clean as before they arrived. Great customer service from start to finish.

Great customer service, I ve been with charter for over 10 years and the first week switching to localtel just confirmed that I was making the best decision I ve made in that 10 years. Prices are very exceptional and speeds are far more faster than any competitor in this valley. Well worth the PUD fee to have installed and would do it again if I moved and needed to pay again.
Everyone was super helpful and nice in getting my internet set up. They've followed up with me and have been helpful with getting my online accounts set up and making sure our service is working well at the house.
The only thing I have to make a comment about is just the wait to get internet installed. And I understand it has a lot to do with the PUD installing their box and then having to wait for LocalTel to come in and do their installation, but it did take almost 5 weeks to get the entire thing set up. That being said LocalTel helped me make sure I got in contact with the PUD and kept me up to date with the entire process and helped coordinate between the two entities.
Plus, now my internet is super fast and works really well and is super inexpensive compared to what I was paying stupid Comcast in Spokane, so really I am not complaining.
The installer was on time, very helpful, and courteous. The follow up call from Shane was appreciated. Glad we "ditched the dish" and came back to Local Tel!
We had spectrum internet was moved over to this company. This has been the worst internet we have ever had. Always having problems , days without service. They said it was because we need a new dish they came put one up still having problems.
We have just internet with LocalTel. From the very first phone call to make inquiries, we have received great customer service! Someone called to confirm our installation, the technician that came out was very nice, and we even had a phone call after installation to see if everything went okay. We ve only had the service three weeks now but so far everything seems great! Such a difference from what we were going to get (Hughes) who didn t show up for two appointments before I cancelled the order.
If you have the option do not choose this ISP. We are paying for 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload and are only able to get 10 Mbps Down and 2 Mbps Up. Because our tower is low priority, the piece will not be replaced for 6 months. The contract binds us to pay this higher price regardless of our service.
Justin is amazing. He has made my experience with a telecommunications company better than I could have imagined. I had gone through THREE separate companies before I was told i should give them a call. OMG best move...they are so helpful and deserve 10 stars. So friendly and so nice and Justin is the man.

My installation was complicated because the siding wasn't installed yet so a lot was temporary. That didn't bother this young man and he was quite willing to work with me.. Didn't take him long to figure out what I needed. LocalTel does a great job ...
Great customer service! I called in to tech support on 2 different occasions & was helped by 3 different people- all were extremely helpful, polite & patient. And they have hours into the evening which is so convenient. I'm now connected to fiber & have a great internet connection!

The guys from Local Tel were great. They were able to find where existing cables from prior installations had been placed, so that I didn't require new cables and additional cable lines running everywhere. They were fast and courteous.
I ve been trying to get service setup since November 2019. Paid the deposit and setup fee at that point, still no word about when service will be setup. Numerous calls have only gotten me a run around. It s been four months, going on five. . . Totally unprofessional.
I loved that on my first phone interaction with Localtel, I spoke to a live person within 2 minutes of being hold and that person (Lisa) accommodated every specific need and knew what she was talking about when answering all my questions.
Absolutely garbage website and account management. Literally every month I have to try on multiple days to process my payment for service. Doesn't matter if it's setting up auto pay or a one time payment the website is complete trash and one of the worst experiences for a paying customer.
I have had the pleasure of using LocalTel in 3 different Locations, 2 of are stores. They are always friendly on the when if I need help or have a questions and if something with my service goes wrong they are quick to send a tech out to resolve the issue. I would recommend and have recommend them to many people!!!!
I had a terrible time getting PUD wifi set up (not localtel's skyfi). In searching for the best value I found PUD had a better offer, but you need localtel to install and manage it. I called in and talked to a rep, she put my on hold (but not on mute) and repeatedly bashed me saying awful things like "I hate when people can't remember who they talked to" while improvising my voice. That wasn't cool, but she was just a rep. The actual install went very smooth, and other than that experience with her localtel seems legit. Getting solid speeds of 45/down and 60/up. Far better than SkyFi.
Really disappointed with them right now. They charged me for a full month when I didn t get the full month of service. When you sing up your contract, you pay right away but you don get the service right away (I totally understand that because it takes about 2-3 days to make the installation and everything else) but when I canceled my service they cut my internet within 2 hours ( I also understand that, I m canceling right) but what I don understand is why I still have to pay the whole month, it seams like everything works only on their end , and to me that tells a lot about the customer service of a company. There s more to it but for now I m not coming back to them anytime soon. I love supporting local companies and businesses but for now I m just letting my circle of friends know what my experience was.
There was a miscommunication on the date for the install. I asked for a supervisor. Tracy got on it and had a Tech, Mike in the area. Mike showed up an hour early and was super knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He quickly went to work. Then I got a follow up call from Tracy. They went above and beyond to take care of me even though I was not on the for that day. I really appreciate how important they made me feel as a customer. Tracy and Mike are awesome employees!! Give them a raise!!
I ll be honest, I ve used Comcast for well over 20 years on the west side of the mountains and NEVER EVER have I received a email, let alone a phone call asking if I was happy with their overpriced garbage service. :) These guys are awesome and I really appreciate the follow ups. It totally makes this whole process of being part of the East side really cool and we re so happy to be surrounded by good people that stand behind their work.
Great service for account setup, and helped me troubleshoot initial technical challenges for as long as I needed. Fiber works great, and a friendly team.

Fiber optic telephone television and Internet service. Great support people. Always helpful and never dismissive of your strange activities that caused the problem in the first place. We watch Lost the TV controller and they replaced it free. Calling them is a pleasure.they generally pick up the support line within four or five minutes even during busy times of day.
Very friendly everytime I call and they always answer all of my questions. I was extremely impressed with the young man that installed our service. He was very polite and professional.
I can't speak to internet speeds, setup/activation, or tech support yet, but when I called to set up a new residential account, Kate was very friendly, helpful and professional. After dealing with Comcast and Spectrum, my experience with this local co. has been a breathe of fresh air.
They gave me the option to self install, which i felt comfortable doing to save some money. i had to call support in order for them to allow traffic to my mac address, and other than that, they helped me locate the box to trace the cable to my house. I appreciated their service and support, definitely recommend them over certain cable providers.
From first contact to determine if we were able to receive service to the appointment scheduling to the installation to the follow-up has been extremely professional and efficient. It has been a very user friendly experience.
Recently moved to town and these folks had to make a number of service visits because all the apartment cable lines were locked up in a box by Charter, the competitor. But they were very communicative every time and really worked to get the system figured out and my service turned on. The technician even figured out how to get a different internet line to work so I could set up my office computer where I wanted it without running cable through the whole apartment. Very friendly technicians and office staff.
On the service end, they are generally acceptable. In the past, we had issues with them not providing the Internet speed we contracted for, which was disappointing. We now check it every month and it has been fine recently.
Unfortunately, their customer service is uneven and they will rarely go the extra mile for you. Their receptionists often are very focused on ending the call as quickly as possible. Times in the past were there has been a disruption of services to our business, they will not refund for this. The most recent disruption, caused by the PUD, was basically communicated to us at the end of the day - the business day before the disruption. Hardly any time to prepare and it is we, not Local Tel, that is on the hook when our customers get upset.
We have submitted an order for LocalTel as soon as we learned the Fiber service would be added to our address. The admin staff kept us informed of the status, right up to the scheduling for day of installation. On our installation date, the crew was delayed due to a shortage of two techs, and once again we were kept fully aware of the schedule. When the crews arrived they immediately went to work, and completed installation in what I felt was record time. Others arrived that were working in the area, simply to lend a hand if needed to complete the day. (the crews are a "well oiled machine", very efficient, and very professional!)
Very displeased with the people I got on the phone with. I believe it was Customer Service? But the lady was beyond rude to me. I love Local Tel, but not when I get talked down to like that. I had a question about my account. That doesnt mean Im a stupid person. Very unsatisfied in the womans tone and attitude towards me. Wasnt professional at all. She also lied to me about my account.
The person that helped me was very kind and professional, was able to set an appointment up right away for the installation, I appreciate the staff, always so kind. Thank you for doing what you do
Went into the office regarding an issue with the router. It was used and should have been new. The young lady with Customer Service was very helpfull. She made arrangements for me to have a new router and it would be ready for me to make the exchange the next day. The install manger delivered the router to me and set it up. Nate made sure I could connect. I was able to login to my router and make any chages there. I have a 1 gig connection and is very fast. A few days later I recieved a follow up call to confirm all is good.. I'm very pleased with the service and the connection speed. I'm changing my 4 stars to 5 stars. Thanks LocalTel!
Recommended- our LocalTel installation professional, Mike, was knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to set up our router and explain the technology. The service has worked great and we're thrilled we signed up with LocalTel.
We just moved from Olympia to the Wenatchee area. Local friends recommended LocalTel, and we're very happy with the results. We initially spoke with Tracey who helped us set up our phone/internet account and scheduled an installer to come to our home. Tracey was friendly and very helpful, even with my "newbie" questions! I'm sorry that I forgot the installer's name, but he was on time, efficient, and helpful. He patiently explained all the technical aspects of our setup. Our experience so far has been great!
Why did I wait so long....? Great service from the first call to Leslie Johnson to Dave the installer. After hours on the phone with Frontier/Ziply for any problems or question it has been a wonderful experience dealing with Local Tel. Follow ups to make sure everything is working etc. So happy I made the change.
I love this company! I wish all companies had the people skills that every single employee of Local Tel has. They are truly accommodating any time of day or night!

LocalTel was quick to reply to my inquiries about services and even quicker to come set up our new fiber internet! The tech was friendly and knowledgeable about troubleshooting issues with our router and helped us get a good deal on a new one when ours was not repairable. Customer service is a real person on the phone not an internet chat bot and I ve been impressed so far. Good speeds too. And it was cheaper per month than any other deals in town that I could find. Keep up the great work!
I scheduled an appoint and the tech was late, It was hot and the tech was too big a guy to fit in the access to the ceiling. Re-scheduled for a couple of weeks later for a cooler morning. Another big tech arrived late and the guy who was suppose to go in the attic was another hour late, so lost the advantage of a cooler attic. They had to hurry up and go because they were late for another appointment. I did not get any information, instructions or even a channel line up. Disorganized and extremely poor installation service. Follow up contact, was very nice and professional...I did not mention the installation experience. I was given instructions for Watch anywhere tv...which I could not get to work and appears to direct you to individual apps. The basic channel line up does not include CBS and is extremely disappointing. I really feel it is a waste of time and money and regret adding TV to my internet account.
