On the service end, they are generally acceptable....

On the service end, they are generally acceptable. In the past, we had issues with them not providing the Internet speed we contracted for, which was disappointing. We now check it every month and it has been fine recently.

Unfortunately, their customer service is uneven and they will rarely go the extra mile for you. Their receptionists often are very focused on ending the call as quickly as possible. Times in the past were there has been a disruption of services to our business, they will not refund for this. The most recent disruption, caused by the PUD, was basically communicated to us at the end of the day - the business day before the disruption. Hardly any time to prepare and it is we, not Local Tel, that is on the hook when our customers get upset.
