My wife and I purchased a 2012 Honda Civic in April of 2012. We were drawn to Lindsay because they advertised $3,000 for any trade. The car we were trading at that time was 13 years old, so $3,000 was a good amount over the actual value of the car. Lindsay did not disappoint. Our sales person, John Przbyl was outstanding. No high pressure sales tactics were used at any point. John listened to what we were looking for and showed us exactly what we wanted. There was no haggling at all because Lindsay gave us a great deal....one that could not be topped.
In addition to having a great sales experience, the finance manager, Phil, is also outstanding. He was personable and easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and got us through the finance paperwork quickly and easily.
So, in July, we decided to trade in our other car for a Honda Civic because we both loved the Civic so much we just had to have another one so we both could have one. Lindsay was running their Cash for Clunkers deal, and the car we were trading in was an 8 year old Chevy. They gave us the top of the trade-in amount, which matched Kelly Blue Books value, and they gave us a little more off in order for us to get the payment we were looking for. We dealt with both John and Phil again, and the entire experience was actually enjoyable.
If you are like most people (including my wife and I), you hate car shopping. At Lindsay, they make the process seamless and painless. They have a great product and fantastic sales and finance employees. You can feel good about buying a new car at Lindsay because you will know walking out of there that you got the best deal around....and the best car!
DO NOT BUY FROM LINDSEY (Honda, Toyota, etc.). This place will screw you in any way they can. We bought a new Honda C-RV from them and they left off the mileage warranty intentionally even after telling us we had it. Yes, it was our responsibility, I admit that, we should have checked but after 4 hours of negotiating with them even after they "accidentally pulled my credit report without my authorization I was angry and tired. Do not buy from them ever.

Went in with a fully loaded crv because i was told i could get the new CRV. They pressure me i to buying a 2019 hrv with just the basics at a crazy price. The sale person was rude when i told him no 3 times he continues to say this is an awsome deal. He showed me a HRV sport. But i got the basic. Really. I am talking to my lawyer

These guys tried to give me $20,000 for a brand new jeep (only had it 3 months) with 6,500 miles on it, that retails for $34,000 according to NADA. They're saying that a 2018 1.5 liter Accord with 15,000 miles is worth $4,000 more than my 2019 2.0 turbo Cherokee with 6,500 miles. That is a total ripoff.

I had a very good experience at Lindsay Honda. They were the only dealership that had the car I wanted. The Internet specialist confirmed that they had the car, which was helpful. Once the Sales person learned that I was buying the car instead of my husband, all the questions and explanations were directed to me. I appreciated that since I didn't receive the same attention at some of the other dealerships. The purchase of the car was very efficient. We agreed on the price, filled out some forms and within two hours we were driving the car home.

I was told I would get a vehicle and I was trading my car I had in for the down payment and the man told me for sure I would get a vehicle that credit was good and then someone called me and told me that I could not get a vehicle until I put up to $2,500 down but that's not what I was told

Just leases a new Honda CRV and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The salesman Dan made the process easy and relatively quick for a car buying experience. Would recommend Lyndsay Honda to anyone.
I took my Honda HR-V for service at Lindsay Honda for oil change and tire rotation but I had to leave dissapointed. First of all, the recieption was poor and ask me to pay $177 within 2-3 minutes because of the break fluid without a multipoint inspection. I was so disappointed I had to leave and go to Lindsay Acura where I paid $69 for oil change and tire rotation including multipoint inspection which showed all green. So be careful when you go to Lindsay Honda for service.
I waited for at least 45 minutes and nobody came back to talk to me so I left and ended up with another vehicle from another dealer that greeted me the moment I entered the door. It felt like a huge auto garage with nobody to talk to even if you're interested.
My husband and I had the awesome opportunity to meet Adam at Lindsay Honda. After seeing a beautiful car on the internet, I called him the day before I wanted to visit the dealership. He was enthusiastic and very upbeat on the phone. He answered all my questions about the car I wanted to buy. We set an appointment for the following day. He called me that day to touch base and let me know he was excited to work with us. I have bought several cars in the past and I have never been more at ease or comfortable. Adam made us feel at home and part of the "Lindsay family". I could tell that his spiritual convictions propel him to be a fine young man that walks in honesty and integrity. The whole experience was positive and fun. We live approximately 2 hours from the dealership, but without question, this is where we will buy our future automobiles as well as refer our family and friends! Thanks Adam for a great experience!!

My Wife went to have the oil changed on our 2012 Honda Pilot. While she was there, a lady from the new car sales team came and asked her if she wanted to trade it in for a 2014 Pilot with the same payment and all of the same amenities, etc.. when she declined that is when all of the trouble started. The sales lady persisted and my wife repeatedly declined. As she sat and continued to wait for the oil changed to be completed over an hour and half has now gone by and they still have not "finished her car" When she pressed on, she was told that they lost her key and she would have to wait until they found it. Now almost 2 hours have past and still no key. She was so upset that she called me. I was not very happy but I drove up to Lindsay to bring her the key. Once I arrived and had a conversation with the Services manager her car key mysteriously appeared in the new car area.Of course they had no idea how it got there. One technician said maybe a kid grabbed the key and was wondering around the dealership. Lindsay was holding her key hostage because she did not want to purchase a new car. I have done business with Lindsay Honda for over 9 years and 4 cars. They will never see another dime of my business. The Service manger said we would not be charged for the oil change wow a whopping ($18.95) and they programmed another key I don't need another key, what about the 2 1/2 hours lost of our time that we can never get back? Give me a break. Please beware of these slimy sales practices at Lindsay Honda!! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE AGAIN FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

I had a great experience with Lindsay Honda. First off when I entered the door Daniel Hoff was there to greet me and help me with all the questions I had. Usually when I go to a dealership the seller only knows the information that s on the brochure, not Daniel! This is a guy who loves his job to the point where he knows the basic theory of operation of specific internals of the Civic SI's engine, the process it takes to get there, and that components purpose. I felt like I was talking to a highly qualified ASE mechanic! I was speechless to the point where I didn t have any questions and knew that I could trust him. Daniel was extremely professional during the whole process and gave me multiple follow up calls to see how my family and I was doing which is lovely! If you have a child, set your mind at ease because they have a clean play area for them to stay busy. Another thing I loved about Lindsay Honda was their facilities is open so late! That explains why Honda is above the rest. Let's not forget about their service center, that place is HUGE that provides an extremely clean environment for their workers. I fix fighter jets for a living and our facilities does not compare. The ONE and only CON I have was when I went to the parts counter trying to order a part, no one was there to help me, and when someone finally showed up he couldn t find the part I needed. I had to assist him and do my own research to cross reference the part number. Granted I showed up 2 hours past closing time and a worker stepped out from working on a vehicle to assist me was excellent.
Called ahead to schedule a test drive of a new Honda Odyssey. Get there and I get a nice enough salesman to help me. Did not seem super knowledgeable, but nice. It takes them 30 or 40 minutes to get the vehicle ready for a test drive. They have somehow misplaced the keys to the car. Very unorganized. So we finally get in the car and go for drive. That was fine. I tell the salesman we have couple deals worked out with other dealers. He says let me talk to my manager. I assume is the guy who sits perched like an eagle in the back of the showroom. Even looks like a bald . Then they send this old guy over. I don't know who he is in the dealership staff ranking. But I did use the restroom and he did not wash his hands. Right there shows what kind of person he is. Anyway, he tells me there is not deal to be made. That Toyota has more incentives to offer then Honda. I said okay, but I'm shopping for a Honda, Not a Toyota. He said I know. I bought a car from this place when they were up the road and called park. Great experience there. But I don't think the internet manager I dealt with then is here any longer. That is a shame. This new regime is a joke.

Purchased a Used 2011 Honda Odyssey 07/11/2020 from Nick K, I put $4,000 down. 07/12/2020 the truck stop opening. By 08/07/2020 my vehicle was in the shop(different Honda) engine and fluids $1600 in work. Picks my vehicle up 08/10/2020 and thought this nightmare was over. NOT AT ALL 08/15/2020 car stops again this time it s the Alternator! Called today to be given the run around. 08/20/2020 the vehicle once again stops $4,200 this time around. I have learned a lot from this vehicle braking down. Still NO RESPONSE FROM THE DEALERSHIP. Obviously I was ONLY valued customer when they wanted my business but now they can care less.
My point is this is my first time going to a certified Dealership and at this point I ll never step foot in that place again. I never had any trouble with a buy here pay here ever! Only reason I decided to buy here was off the strength that my whole family been going here for years.

I waited 5.5 months to tell you about my experience with Lindsy Honda. I bought my certified pre owned 2009 Accord with 17800 miles in Feb of 2013, it took 2.5 hours from the time I walked in, till a deal was made!. It's the middle of July 2013 and 6000 miles later, I've had to change my battery, rear brakes, and neither key has worked properly since I've owned it. I think they took the car from the previous owner, kicked the tires, and slapped a price sticker on it, and said "certified"! Knowing what I know, now, I would never buy a used or new car from this dealership.

An experience outside of extraordinary when I was given up hope/ getting discouraged Mondale Bradley encouraged me not to get discouraged and keep my faith. I went in today I was able to leave with a brand new 2017 Honda Accord. Purchased my first Honda from Lindsay on September 3, 2015 from Luis Hernandez. Luis spent several hours with me the night before kicking tires in order to see whether I would be good with a Honda. After thinking overnight, I returned to purchase the 2015 Civic EX-L. Luis was very patient with me as he discussed leasing and tried to get me to understand how it worked and whether it was for me. I was a bit skeptical and, as a result, decided to finance. I worked out a 0% for 72 months deal that I felt was great. Luis told me that in order for Lindsay to get the 0% the dealership had to "buy down" the price. While I did not understand that, completely, I went with it and received my vehicle. After returning home and looking at the finance sheet I am not completely sure I got the deal I had thought as it looks like in order to get the 0% the purchase price was sticker. Additionally, adding a polyseal, tax, title, and other stuff, the price of the car was nearly $5k higher than sticker. While I did put down $5k and ended up paying just under sticker, I am now thinking I got told a story. Perhaps a bit more understanding the next time, but all in all, the experience was good. I did find a few scratches on the hood which I need to bring to Luis' attention to see how that is handled.

This was the worst bait and hook experience ever! I was given the lease quotes of $260 for CRV, $400 for Odessy and $450 for Pilot with $0 down. When I get there the sales woman took my keys to inspect my current lease I was turning in and kept them until I firmly at the end of the meeting asked for my keys back. The price they gave me was $398 for the CRV and I immediately expressed my dissatisfaction and departed and will never return! This kind of place preys on people and shouldn t get away with it.

Jason was an amazing help. He listened to my needs as a consumer. He got my wants vs my needs and was able to find a decent balance between the two without too much compromise on my budget. Now as for the rest. The financing department never contacted me saying the initial financing fell through, instead ran my credit without ever contacting me. The only way I found out was from credit karma alerting me hits were happening to my score and the fact that it had been over a month and I didn t receive my memorandum title (supposed to be at my house in 7-10 business days). No call or anything mean time my other car loan (from my trade in) was telling me they needed the pay off. Got here to find out they wanted an additional amount and an additional year than agreed upon terms of original contract.
Sucked it up and moved on, 2 weeks later from that my car starts squealing and grinding. Got towed into the service center and was told it was going to be a few hours. I asked about a rental car (that I was promised upon purchase of new vehicle since it s a 2019) and all of the sudden I don t have coverage and they don t have any available cars. I now have to call off of work causing financial bothers. .
Read this review and take it to heart if you are car shopping in the Columbus area, especially if you are in a pickle, need a dependable vehicle, and your options are limited. (Kind of a lengthy review but worth the read)
Late last month/early this month I found myself in a situation where I had a loan on an old vehicle that was becoming unreliable. Unfortunately for me I owed more on the vehicle than what it was worth by a sizeable margin. With my options limited and in dire need of a dependable vehicle to get me to and from work with a long daily commute, I found myself on Lindsay Honda s used car lot. That s where I bumped into sale specialist Christian Jobe.
Christian and his team at Lindsay Honda worked with me for the last two weeks and after digging through multiple cars finally found the perfect car for my budget, my needs and it s really sharp and a blast to drive too. They took my old car that I still owed money on as a trade in and gave me a wonderful value for it. They even helped me get a better APR through Honda financing with a monthly payment that s less than what I expected!!
Bad experience with Lindsay. Bought a new car from them 5 years ago that has had multiple issues. The service department has consistently been rude, dismissive, and inept at handling both serious problems while under warranty and general maintenance. I now take the car to a different Honda dealer where the service has been significantly better. I'll never buy a Honda again after all the mechanical problems this car has had, and I strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from any Lindsay dealership.

I had a really great experience at Lindsay while helping my dad shop for a car, primarily because of our sales person, Troy Alexander. He was very personable, knowledgable about cars, and provided special touches such as having the cars already warmed before we test drove them in the middle of winter. The salesman was nice until we told him we had our own financing through our bank. The finance guy was very rude and condescending. They (finance guy and salesmen) decided that for some reason we now needed to put down $2,000 plus. We asked why. They couldn t tell me. We have the financing approved for the total amount that was agreed upon. The finance guy then continued to be rude and tell us we will have to wait a while. They are dishonest, greedy, rude, con-artist that takes advantage of people. Oh did I tell you that I bought a care from them years ago and the carfax they showed me wasn t true and the car in fact had been in accidents, when they told me it had not been in any accidents. DON'T TRUST THEM!!!
