Our first experience was not a great one, but a follow up call from the manager was really nice and reassuring that our first trip was a misunderstanding. JLouis is great, I would recommend him for a new car purchase.

My experience at Lexus was nice. My initial contact was Nicole. She was going on vacation and introduced me to Yasu. Yasu took me for a test drive and was very calm and answered my questions about options for the car. The sales process was easy once I got through the insurance and credit checks. I'm glad I'm a Costco member.
I purchased extra Lexcare items to help preserve the car as well as floor mats.
The technology in the car was mostly straight forward and Rob helped. After downloading some apps we were able to see how things worked. Rob answered my questions.
So far I'm happy with the car but would like to receive my post sales items at a faster rate. This is the only part that concerns me. Communication about this service could be greatly improved.

Lexus of Portland has been always my favorite dealer when it comes to shopping for a car especially this time working with the sale person Duy Dang (Dewey) in finding a certified pre-owned car. Thank you Dewey for such a great experience on this purchase. Dewey is knowlegable, professional, and very responsive. He never once pushed me into buying the car like my experience with salemans at other dealerships. I test drove 3 cars but never felt pressure to make a purchase at all. After the test drive, he helped me with making the decision with his very honest advises. After signing the purchase documents, the next day Dewey even drove all the way to Vancouver to take me to the dealer so I can drive the new car home. He made my purchase smooth, easy and no pressure. I was completely satisfied with the purchase and highly recommend Dewey. I would come back here again when shopping for the next car. Lexus of Portland is #1 dealership in town!

Both John and Debra in Finance were professional and efficient. One suggestion: Could the initial bio/credit info collected by the sales person be done ahead of time online? That would expedite the actual purchase process.

Best car shopping experience. Dewey Dang was salesman for vehicles I was purchasing on last Sunday. It was busy day with many people buying cars. He has provided excellent service. Even during some mistakes on purchase agreement about missing accessory parts. I was okay with accessories offered and he was able to make me fill happy with purchase by providing window tint service at No cost to me. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel relaxed buy purchasing a new vehicle I really like.

I am MORE than impressed with Kuni Lexus of Portland. I recently purchased a 2006 IS350 from Rob Bernardi and I was blown away by how great of an experience I had. They take care to put their used cars through a rigorous check before they sell them and I almost could not believe the car was 7 years old. I had my kids there with me and Rob, Deborah, and the rest of the staff made us feel right at home. I would recommend Lexus of Portland and I will be back for my next Lexus. Thanks for putting to rest the typical bad rap a car dealership gets. You folks are top notch. Merry Christmas.

If you are thinking about buying a car from Lexus of Portland talk to Morgan O'Sullivan. This is the 4th car I've purchased (1st Lexus), and this has by far been the best experience I've had. Overall the process took almost a month and Morgan stuck with me the whole way. I kept going back and forth on what I wanted and he was always there to bounce ideas off of. He offered great advice and I felt like he was helping me make the right decision every step of the way. There was no pressure to buy. After careful consideration and much research on my own as well as insight from Morgan, I selected the exact car I wanted. Of course they had one on the lot that was being sold that same day! I was devastated thinking I would have to wait another 2-3 weeks to get my car. Morgan and the Lexus team jumped right on it and started reaching out to see if there was another CT with the exact same configuration. Sure enough! EXACT SAME CAR, right in the Port of Portland! I absolutely love the car and buying it was quick and painless! The only small complaint I have is the extra warranties and additions, like the paint protection package, seemed a bit forced. The lady who I signed all the papers with made me feel almost guilty for not getting them....but oh well just part of her job. Overall I'm happy!

By far the BEST car experience all around. I will continue with Lexus because they treat you so well, my service advisor, Nathan Burke hands down is great. With questions. Opinions. Suggestions. I couldn't be happier. He answers every question I have without hesitation or fault and really knows what's going on. They really have their stuff together. From the time you pull in, until you leave. And arrive again to pick up your car. Again. Hands down THE BEST. Kudos to all the service staff running around taking care of everyone in a timely professional manner. And to the mechanics that keep these cars running so well. Sales is great. Bergen and Rob are amazing. After you buy it. Service staff is what matters. I highly recommend Kuni Lexus of Portland.

Our Rx350 was overdue for routine maintenance and an oil change. Our Service Manager, Matt, was very welcoming and after checking me in, kept me abreast of the things our service technician, Darin was finding. We had some substantial maintenance items that required immediate attention and both men were very direct and did a wonderful job explaining the urgency of the repairs. Thinking these repairs would require I take a loaner, I was assured that the repairs would be completed within only a few hours. Because of the great communication and accommodating waiting room, I was able to conduct my daily work tasks while the car was well taken care of. In my past experience(s) with other service departments, my gut reaction and feeling is disbelief and doubt. Both men did a wonderful job of assuring me the repair/maintenance would be quick and urgent enough to get it done immediately. I haven't ever felt comfortable and pleased with dropping over a grand for a service appointment before, so kudos to your staff for providing me such a pleasant experience, we will be back.

We bought a 2010 RX350 from Brett Day. Brett was low key, which is exactly what I like when looking for a car. He asked all the right questions about our needs and wants and then zoned in on the right car for us. My husband and I both test drove it and loved it. What a difference from the 2001 RX300 we traded! After some negotiating, we had a deal.
Jarrod Marini spent at least a half hour with me, going over all the electronic features, pairing my cell phone with the car's Bluetooth, preparing the garage door opener button for pairing when I got home and much more. Lexus has a great technology service - I can stop in or call any time and they'll take the time to help me learn how to use all the features in this fully-loaded car.

I've hated buying cars from dealers for years. They've historically been slimy, gruff, and altogether unpleasant. Yesterday changed my mind.

I'm far from the typical Lexus buyer, but Nicole D. made my wife and I feel right at home. She made the experience painless and even sort of enjoyable with her enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine demeanor.

This is my first Lexus, and after yesterday's experience, it probably won't be my last.

From the minute my husband and I met Dick Wros, we knew we were in for a different kind of car-shopping experience. Dick reflects the culture of the entire Kuni operation: low-key, helpful, honest, fun and above all, respectful.

Some might call us methodical shoppers, spending months researching vehicles and visiting local car dealerships. Our excellent experience with Dick brought us back to Kuni multiple times. Did I mention he s patient? He told us right up front that Kuni assumes their customers come armed with Internet research and are savvy about pricing; Kuni conducts sales transactions accordingly. He would later prove that.

Prior to our last visit, we studied Kuni s website and noticed what we dubbed the mystery RX 350, a vehicle listed only by year, with no photo, no mileage no price. After driving and narrowing down our options, we wanted to see the mystery car before making a selection. Dick spent considerable effort tracking down the vehicle, a new arrival which was tucked away in a back lot. It was the car we would buy.

Dick made the transaction simple. We shared our respective research on the value of our trade-in, tossed some figures back and forth and quickly agreed on a price that pleased both of us. No muss, no fuss, no game playing.

It shouldn t take a service center that s part of a bigger dealership who also sells brand new Lexus s almost two weeks to schedule a service appoitment that requires a loaner vehicle. All other luxury brand cars can schedule a service appoitment within 24-48 hours that includes a loaner!! This has, and should remain part of the courtesies a dealership provides, considering dealership rates are usually 15-30% higher than a normal auto shop/mechanic. Really low level service being provided when your making customers wait two or more weeks to schedule an appoitment that includes a loaner vehicle...

There s so many bad experiences I m not sure which is the worst. I will never own another Lexus unless there is a new option for service because these guys are crooks. They pay for low quality vendors to do warranty work and then don t hold up the Lexus quality. They told me last time my brakes were in the red and not green so they needed to be replaced that day. I had not had any warning prior so I thought that was odd and said no not today. The service man was super rude because of it. I took my car to les Schwab to have them checked and they were at 6mm 9,000 miles later and was told they had plenty of life left. Never again will I go to Kuni Lexus.

The check-in process was a little slow and was surprised to see other people who came after me get served first. But other than that, the car service was done as expected and the rep explained to me what needed to be done, and offered the option to get my car washed, which was nice. The lounge was clean and everyone was spaced out very well. I have the impression that not a lot of customers were scheduled to come at around the same time to avoid crowding inside the lounge area. Checkout was a breeze.

Friendly, courteous greeting immediately upon arrival. Spencer explained what was planned for my service, and how long it might take. There was but one other person in the waiting room besides myself, and masks were universal. so that Covid concerns were minimal. During the wait, I was treated to a message video of the inspection of my car, and a spoken summary of the findings. The job was completed much sooner than expected. Spencer brought me a report of the inspection and discussed the recommendations, expertly. It was the best experience so far over the seven years with Kuni.

The service was performed as expected and I was alerted to an issue about my brakes and I have scheduled an appointment to have them fixed. Ed helped with that and assured me that I would have a loaner vehicle for that appointment. I appreciate all that Kuni Lexus does to make servicing my vehicle easy.

Very lackluster. Third visit and you still did not update our address in your system though we have mentioned it every time. Price given on the phone for service was not accurate, so we were charged more than we expected by 2x. Time estimate of 1.5 hrs turned into 3. All for a tire rotation and inspection and a GPS map update. This is our third Lexus and third Lexus dealer. Maybe pandemic, but not terribly together this visit. Our first visit was good service but everything in our center console was removed and not returned. Phone charging cords, flashlight, pocket knife, etc. We did not notice for a couple of days. This time we removed all personal items from the car to be extra sure.

After totaling my Saab back in August, I contacted Lexus of Portland about getting a used car. I found a Jetta online and set up an appointment to take a test drive. After doing research and talking to a few friends, I was dissuaded from buying it. But, I still went in to see what else they had in inventory.
When I arrived I was told a handsome gent named Chris Shaw would be helping me. HE IS AWESOME!!!
I had been to a couple other dealerships and was not amused by their tactics. The most frustrating part was the feeling that they just weren't listening to me. What I wanted was less important than what they thought I wanted. I'm not going to lie: I'm a pain in the butt. Buying a car is a big decision. It is a lot of money and you are going to have this car for many years.
Chris was up to the task. He was very patient with me. He listened to my wants and needs and only showed me cars that fit. His knowledge was excellent. He was able to answer all my questions with ease (accurately according to research I was doing on my phone during the process). He probably spent 2 hours showing me cars and never once seemed annoyed by my indecision. I ended up driving away in a Volvo S60 that was everything I was looking for.
The worst part of the whole process is the paperwork rigamarole. Even though he was helping another customer, he continued to check on me.
I came away from the whole experience with a truly positive feeling. I would recommend Lexus of Portland to anyone who is in the market for a new or used car.

I went to Capitol Toyota in Salem OR to look at used vehicles, told the salesman i wouldn't be purchasing until the beginning of the year and didn't want to waste his time but would like to look at the Toyota Highlander Hybrid and get some info to see if its the car for me because I have been very interested in it, he basically didn't want anything to do with me after I told him that and wouldn't even get the keys and unlock the car so I could look at it! I thought they were supposed to help you find the car that is right for you and also give you info but apparently NOT! After my unpleasant visit to Toyota!!!

Thanks to Salesperson Dewey (Duy) Dang and Finance person Lana Tran at Kuni Lexus of Portland, RX350 trade-in for new model was an excellent easy experience. Trade-in value was most fair. Kuni expeditiously sent a truck out of town to obtain selected car. Dewey oversaw details of selection and delivery then Lana smoothly completed financing arrangements. This is my third Kuni Lexus car. The cars are great and Kuni really stands out in ongoing service.

I 've purchased an RX and asked them to not run a hard inquiry on my credit since I have my pre-approval handy and they accepted; however, they ran 4 times for non-valid reasons. After talked with the finance manager she just apologized for what happened kept saying "we wanted to get you a better rate." Meaningless when I have my best rate why do you want to give me a better rate?!
Furthermore, there are two incidents to the car and they told me only one AT the end of the purchasing process and had me to sign the "acknowledgment letter" This is cheating customers to me.
Such a lier dealership , they just want to thrust a car to you. I hate them, very frustrating . Not recommended

We hadn't bought a car in many, many years - partially because of previous experiences (and the stories of friends). When we arrived on the lot at Kuni Lexus, our salesman - Brett Day - began to immediately quell our apprehension. He showed us around and we found "the car". It was 6 years old, but in perfect shape. Bought at Kuni in 2008 and traded in there for a newer model. We began to fall in love. Brett introduced us to the team - and the team at Kuni is what it's all about - and we were on our way. If I could give them all 10 stars, I would. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership - and the experience they provided - to anyone. I'm still smiling. Thanks Brett - we truly appreciate all you did - and Team Kuni.

This is my third GX 460. The experience this time around was streamlined due to COVID 19. I knew Nicole gave me the best deal possible and I also didn't trade in my 2012 Lexus making the transaction very smooth. There has also been increased customer service via calls, and emails, - something I've not experience bettors with my previous purchases. I've also appreciated the video's featuring the use of the GPS.

The incompetent liars at Kuni Lexus offer warranties not worth the paper they're printed on. You can probably imagine how infuriating it is to buy a car from a dealer with their warranty on it, then when you bring it in still under warranty for a mechanical issue they acknowledge but aren't able to diagnose only to be told you might be on the hook for $150 an hour for all the time they spent failing to diagnose the cause of that problem which they admit is there but don't know how to fix. Or imagine driving with one of their certified technicians who observes the exact problem you brought the car in for in the exact same manner you describe, then being told on the phone they observed the problem multiple times but then to get the car back you're asked to sign paperwork saying they were not able to duplicate the issue when they duplicated it in front of you. When they pile evasive non-answers to straightforward questions on top of that then that is when you know Kuni has ripped you off. Learn from my mistake and stay as far away from Kuni Lexus as possible.

Daniel tried very hard to make our experience as positive as could. When we got our car, we had gotten our tires changed and our tank of gas filled. Daniel Okhotin was absolutely excellent from customer service, to being professional, to being personable to just listening to my wife & my needs.

This was my first used car purchase for myself and Daniel let me express the value that I thought was fair and they met me in the middle. Feel extremely pleased with the result and also was surprised that bought the car at the same price point as a private party person was wanting to sell theirs for.

So, with Kuni the benefits of having a dealership is they have checked everything out for me. They even put on NEW tires, NEW Battery and it looked like it came off a FLOOR ROOM.

When I went to show family my new used car... 2005 Acura RL, everyone said they thought I bought a used car... I said, yes it's used. They couldn't believe it.

I'm an Accountant so I'm very particular on things and Kuni passed with flying colors.

Daniel also spoiled my wife and I to as many cups of their coffee as we wanted, he gave us all the time we needed to discuss things and was an absolute gentleman during the whole process. He even contacted me at home 2x and sent me emails to check up on me and remind me of certain things. Daniel, has gone out of his way for sure and I would without any hesitation recommend him for all of your car buying needs.

On top of this, Daniel is very personable. He has a family and 5 children. Honestly, I thought he was just going to be car salesperson but what really happened was my wife and I have a new friend. I could only wish that everyone could have someone as nice and professional as Daniel is and was as that way no one would have a bad car buying experience.

Next time we buy a car, Daniel is going to get first dibs on our business.

We had a great experience here. We purchased our very first Lexus after having Toyotas for years. Our Sales man Brett Day was unlike others I have dealt with in the past. He truly wanted to find us exactly what we wanted and he was very patient about it all. We weren't difficult customers, but we were there with both our young children and even the dog. He was patient thru the whole process of picking features and colors. Going on a test drive with kids in the back. Cleaning out all the stuff from our old car.
They gave us exactly what we asked for regarding our trade-in and an awesome price for the new RX350. The whole process was very quick with one little hiccup, we waited over an hour to sign with Finance. May not seem that long but try doing it with 2 hungry kids that our out of patience.
