My wife and I inquired about purchasing a used sports car but being 3,000 miles away we were a bit skeptical. Once Nicole was assigned as our salesperson our concerns were put at ease. Nicole went out of her way to FaceTime the car with us taking her time and going over every square inch of the car. I would recommend Kuni to anyone!
I initially became a fan of Kuni Lexus before ever actually buying a car from here. I purchased a 2007 Lexus is250 from CarMax back in 2014, and it needed routine service and a couple major recalls, so I had to bring it to Kuni's Service department a few times. The service techs I have worked with, Bill and Nathan, are terrific and very knowledgeable. They explain everything in detail and layman's terms well, don't suggest stuff that you don't need, and have done both recalls with free diagnoses of other potential issues. As bad luck would have it, my is250 crapped out last week due to a faulty transmission. My first call was to Bill for his expertise, who passed me to one of their sales managers, Daniel. When I arrived to look at cars, I met a very nice Sales Consultant, Charles Wilson, who I would absolutely work with again. (We ended up having a personal connection as well, which made the car-buying experience that much better). Charles even suggested I keep the car overnight to test, so I didn't feel pressured to decide that day. When I came back the following day ready to buy (only if the numbers made sense), he helped me during the negotiation phase Although I had to go back & forth on the price a few times, that was expected and it never felt uncomfortable with these guys. After purchase, they connected me with Rob, who gave me a hands-on tutorial of all the car's features and electronics, etc. That guy knows his stuff and was a nice way to exit. As bad luck would have it, I got in a freak accident the day after in my new car, on the way to work (not my fault nor the car's, an unexpected road hazard hit the car). It was a terribly unfortunate situation, and I had to have the car towed back to Lexus. The roadside assistance took forever (3+ hours!!), but that may be the fault of AAA or the tow company the used and not Lexus. Anyway, the car needs repairs beyond what they can do in service, so they gave me a loaner while I wait to have the car towed to a body shop. Bill also waived the diagnosis fee after empathizing with what I'd just been through. These guys are top-notch, they made a difficult situation easier on all levels. Highly recommend.
My service manager Tyson is just wonderful and has always been so helpful patient and explains everything to me in a way that I can understand. Because of his great service and the friendliness whenever I ve had to go there, I will continue to buy only Lexus.
We were extremely disappointed Kuni Lexus unethical behavior and poor customer service.
We used the USAA internet car buying program to try and purchase a used GS-350 at a set price. The dealership contacted us quickly last Friday morning and we confirmed with the dealership representative that we wanted to buy the 2016 GS-350 posted on the USAA car buying site and would put down a $1000 deposit. She said to wait until she sent us some paperwork that we needed to sign and she would take the deposit then. She didn't send the paperwork until 7:58 pm on Friday, after the dealership was closed, and we were already in bed. On Saturday morning we filled out the paperwork and gave the representative a call about the deposit. She wasn't at the dealership yet. We got a call from her a few minutes later that they had sold the car that morning and the people that bought it were in financing so their was nothing she could do.
Apparently Kuni Lexus verbal commitment means nothing and the dealerships lack of integrity/customer loyalty demonstrates they are more interested in making additional money on walk-in customers over internet sales.
I have purchased many new cars, boats, trailers, and motorhomes in my time but by far the best experience was at Kuni Lexus. Primarily because of Joe Hurst our salesman. He did an outstanding job over several visits to answer all my, and wife's questions about the RX-350L. At no time did we feel pressured to make a decision. Alexa Sifuentez also did a great job in our RX orientation. I've never had a back seat driver know so much about a new car. I also had a fair amount of interaction with the parts department over a couple of days and found all the people there very courteous and helpful. Ron Royse
I would say my experience with the call center was terrible however. I had to call 3 times to get a person and then they didn't tell me i would need to leave my car. You guys need to get this back into your dealership. A service cannot possibly be effective in setting this up
It is not so much your brand, it is your people. Ryan Davis flawlessly took care of an urgent problem for me. The radiator in my Lexus Gx cracked and the car was running very hot. I was on the road in Portland when it happened. I pulled over and called the dealership. I was told that I couldn't be seen for 7 days. I opted not to schedule an appointment and I just drove to dealership in a plume of steam. Ryan Davis took care of me when I was there. I was given a loaner car and arrangements for the repairs were made. I will spread the word about Ryan Davis before I spread the word about Lexus of Portland. It is you people that make your organization stellar. Thank you.

I felt at home at Kuni Lexus as soon as I was greeted by Nicole Dubravac's welcoming smile. She was busy when I arrived, so Rob Bernardi ended up finding the perfect pre-owned car for me. Rob treated me like a queen from the first moment of looking, then test-driving and finally buying the car. Both Nicole and Rob followed my car-buying process over several days, allowing me to take the car to my own mechanic to have it inspected and then eventually even driving me to Enterprise to return my rental car. I will recommend either of them to friends in a minute, with no reservations. And kudos to the dealership for training their salespeople to be of such exemplary service!
I was most pleased with Chris Shaw - I was pretty sure that I wanted to buy a Lexus and he very nicely convinced me ;-) I am most happy with Chris and the service that the dealership provides..... I was surprised that the paper work took so long. I believe it took nearly 15 minutes to complete the paperwork which is not the end of the world, but it took longer this time than any other appointment in the past. Also, we did not get out car washed and vacuumed which my wife loves. This has happened more than once. Two other times in the past 3 years there's been an issue and our car has not been washed and vacuumed. If there are issues with cleaning the car, why not hand out coupons to a local car wash business so the customer feels like you're really interested in taking care of them. When I picked up the car, the service rep did not go over the maintenance report but was very friendly. I didn't think about it until my drive home. Luckily the car checked out perfectly.
At 52 years of age, I have been buying cars for a while, more than a dozen car lot experiences over the past 35 years for sure. I just want to mention how well I was treated by not only by Lexus of Portland, but also both Jeremy Rutt and Bergen Allee. They were very responsive from my 400 mile away inquiry, worked with me through the negotiation and financing process, picked me up at the airport, spent time with me through the sale, and when things went wrong with the car the next day clear up in Spokane, were excellent in taking care of the problem at considerable cost to Lexus.
My trust is difficult to obtain, especially when it comes to selling me a car, but this experience engendered it. It was a nice experience. I highly recommend them to anybody.
Just bought a car from salesperson Oscar Perez at Lexus of Portland...wasn't totally convinced when he told me "it's all about the customer at this dealership" (because my past experiences in buying cars is usually one rung down from oral surgery) but after the fantastic experience I had there, I believe him! His easy-going manner and positive attitude were laid back but attentive, no high-pressure tactics, not to mention this dealership has a customer area nicer than a private lounge at the airport. Everybody here is very straightforward and friendly. They are definitely defying the old stereotype of car salesmen. I would highly recommend buying from them. Ask for Oscar!
Our Rx was in for routine maintenance as well as a front windshield replacement. this made the visit more complex than usual. The glass install had to done by an outside vendor and coordinated with our insurance co. All this was done on time and was beautifully coordinated by our service rep Jeff Miller who did an above and beyond job in our behalf. thank you

A first class dealership with the aminities expected at such a place. Employees are nice and low pressure. There is a nice lounge if you need to wait for whatever reason. If you are having a repair done such as a recall that takes a long time, they supply a very nice loaner car. A good inventory of quality new and used vehicles to browse.
Nicole was truly a pleasure to work with & made my car buying experience extremely easy. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with my purchase. We purchased a used Honda from this dealership and the experience was great. Dave was our sales rep, and he was probably the nicest sales rep I have ever dealt with! We also dealt with their service department to repair a chip on the windshield, and met a professional service manager. Could not recommend this dealership more.
My husband & I were out Sunday, looking for a car for me, just shopping but not buying anything. I was looking for something comfortable. I subscribe to Consumer Report and knew that Lexus rated very well in all the categories. We were going to stop by 3 car companies that rated well. Our first stop was Lexus, we walked in the showroom and saw the RX350L, didn t know anything about the car, but it was beautiful & it was a Lexus. Tom Schmidt, our salesman, was not pushy nor phony! He explained & showed us the car very nicely. We took a test drive which I really didn t want to do, because we were just looking not buying. That was it! That car was smooth! We were sold!!! Everyone involved was wonderful. Tom Schmidt was just so to the point, everything he said about the car was true, Alex, the lady in financing was so pleasant & knew her job well. The young man that helped us with all the technical stuff, Roman Brown, was wonderful too, but most of all, we LOVE the car! It s smooth, handles well, drives like a sedan. The sound system is great, the turning radius is awesome, you can make a U-turn in that car with ease, it feels like you re in a well fitted leather glove, it s wonderful! I m getting compliments on the color & I ve been told it s a sexy looking car, I know, TMI ! My husband loves MY RX350L as much as I do, I think he needs his own RX350L!

We have had our RX350 for 2.5 years and almost 50K miles and love it. Easy to get into, easy to get out of and a truly fantastic ride. Unknown to us at the time, medical issues would prove this to be one of the best decisions we have made. The superior service department helps ensure our critical medical transport stays on the road. I went into Lexus to take my car in for service and I was waiting for about 10 minutes. When my car was finished and supposed to me brought back to me, I ended up wait 30 minutes until my car was finally brought back to me. I ended up calling back later and asking how long it s usually supposed to take and they said it s only to take 5-10 minutes for my car to be brought back and I guess they ended up forgetting I was even in the lot waiting for my car. It was very unprofessional and inconsistent. I would not recommend coming here.
Lexus of Portland is hands down has the best customer service and relations around. I have owned Mercedes, Cadillac, Acura and Infiniti and Lexus is not only the best quality you can buy for the money, the customer care and personable service that comes with owning a Lexus is unreal thanks to Lexus of Portland. If only everybody could experience the quality of service that Kuni Lexus provides, everybody would own a Lexus. I just want to say thanks to Jeff Miller in service for treating me like I was the CEO of Lexus. I will definitely be getting all my services done at Lexus of Portland instead of going to the discount places that are out there. They might charge a little less, but what you get in customer service and quality of work makes up for the money that you would save going elsewhere. I will never own anything but a Lexus from here on out.
On Sunday Jan 27th 2013 after going to the auto show in Portland on Sat Jan 26th my spousal unit and I decided to travel from southwest Washington State to the Lexus of Portland store in Beaverton Or to actually touch, feel and drive a new ES300 Hybrid. We had looked at one during the Auto Show but not much was functional and of course you couldn't drive the car.My spousal unit being some what of a grinch when it comes to car dealerships and especially "car salesman", I braced for a potential attitude filled afternoon. Much to our surprise when we arrived at the Lexus of Portland dealership, we found the store very busy. We had a little time to view the cars on the showroom floor without being "jumped on" by the first salesman lurking behind the closest plant to the door. My spousal unit spied the ES300h Hybrid just outside the showroom window parked in front of the store. The vehicle was even the right color, but did not have the right interior color.We decided to approach a salesman and ask to see one of the cars, preparing ourselves for dealership battle. Much to our surprise and pleasure, we found Chris Shaw. Chris was the most relaxed and helpful car salesman we had ever met. Even though the store was very busy and my spousal unit made it clear that we were not buying that day but comparing three (3) cars we had seen at the auto show that peaked our interest, Chris was patient, helpful, and extremely easy to talk with. He answered all our questions, found us a vehicle matching all of our desires and options that was on order and would be arriving in a few days. He found the store demonstration vehicle, taking us for a test drive and letting both of us drive the vehicle.Chris even encouraged us to check out the other vehicles we were considering and make a good comparison. He was very aware that the vehicle we were interested in represented a substantial amount of money and deserved an informed decision. My spousal unit has had the privilege of being able to purchase vehicle in the past from dealership owners, general managers who are personal friends and for the past 30 years has never had to actually go to the "salesman" and get information, and God forbid the "little room" with the boxing gloves. Chris gave us a new and refreshing experience in purchasing and looking for a vehicle. When we decide which vehicle we are going to purchase we will be coming back to Chris if it is the Lexus. There is no other salesperson in the store that I will go to, only Chris. Because of Chris's approach and honesty we have already made a preliminary decision to purchase the Lexus ES300h. The other dealerships will have to really do the unexpected to get our business at this point. If Lexus of Portland's service and the rest of their team is as friendly and open as Chris, then they have made us a new and life long customer.Renee Raglione and spousal unit
My mother bought a Honda that had a few issues. The issues that it had were what you would expect from any used vehicle. Minor paint blemishes, one of the compartment doors didn t work exactly right and a rock chip in the windshield. Like I said, it was what I would expect from any used vehicle. What I did not expect was that the dealership would fix everything and give my mom with the exception of the miles on car a new car. There was one more issue with the child lock on the rear door that was not discovered until a few weeks after the purchase. Lexus gave my mother a new Lexus to drive while the fixed the lock issue. This is way more than I would expect from a dealership.

I got my car just less than 1 year since June 2017. Today I read the review of Tami Pham. She was mentioned about the $100 gift card. It was happened to me before. One of my colleague recommended me come here to get a car, one the date I came, I mentioned about the lady that recommended I came here. The salesman didn t say anything about $100 gift card, and I didn t know about that until my colleague told me that she supposed to get one. I reminded the salesman about that. And she said my friend didn t qualify because I got a good deal on the vehicle that I got. Even though, I got two cars. Furthermore, I have an issue about my Sun-proof today, and my car still under warranty, I open the sun-proof and the rubber strips on my car came off. I called to Kuni. I took a photo and send to them, I have been asked to paid for labor cost which is $160 something. Beside that, under my car seat, the metal sliding bar become so rusty. I don t know if i am so picky or bad material which had been used as the staff told me

Didn't have the best of experience both times going in. However Anthony Hammons was extremely helpful and I would recommend him as a salesman to anyone. Very kind, sincere, genuine and respectful. We ended up getting a car somewhere else, but it was not due to him in any way at all. I would've preferred to get a car from him as I felt bad for all the time he spent with us to not get paid.
