The inspectors are representatives for the insurance company not an objective 3rd party and are instructed to “call it right, call it tight”, what this actually means is to call it in favor for the insurance company. In fact the office will literally change information in their reports before sending it to the adjusters. The inspectors can actually face consequences and are threatened with less claims or possibly not get paid for claims if they do not. The problem isn’t the inspectors but the company. They’re supposed to be 1099 contractors but in fact they’re treated like employees.

Horrible pathetic inspector with attitude.

Should be a negative 10. Inspector was Jeffery Merry which really had an attitude. Just a young immature kid. Was two hours late. When he arrived I asked him what his expertise was and he told me he was not here to discuss that. So he left without inspecting.

It should be a negative 5 star, this company is a prime example of what s wrong with the world. Big business found a way to get paid by pretending to assist in the claim process, the only people they assist in the process is the insurance companies.

These guys use false pretenses to say they can get accurate adjustments done. The work they do could be done by instagram models who take better pictures with equal the education in their field of data capture .

Ladder now/Seek now are stealing from customers and the insurance company prefers it, otherwise why pay them? Denying claims is NOT a business unless the insurance companies make it one, shame on you all, so sad if the claim is justified!

Shame on anyone involved in this company and or for hiring this company.

Saw mixed reviews here, but my experience was pleasant. Our inspector was detailed and even called out things that weren t obvious. House ended up getting new roof, siding, and gutters because of a hail storm

If your insurance company tells you that either Ladder Now or Seek Now is going to be doing the visual inspection for the adjuster, ASK FOR A STAFF ADJUSTER! These folks are NOTORIOUS for getting claims denied. I had one walk my roof with my roofing contractor. Submitted incomplete information to insurance company. After my adjuster did a virtual inspection with my roofer, the "missed" damage was identified and the denial was reversed.

Seek Now guy says he is paid the same whether the claim is paid or denied, but I don't think that's the whole story. If not from the insurance company, perhaps they are incentivized by their management. I don't know. But I do know they have a reputation with roofers getting claims denied.

Tim Saylor was the inspector that I worked with. He was on time, working on a Sunday holiday weekend and extremely proficient and detailed. He worked on a challenging roof, moved quickly without cutting corners. Very respectful and listened to the homeowner's questions. Hope to work with him again.

Have a contractor send photos directly to the insurance or at least a proper adjustment from a staff adjuster.

These guys are way too strict with what they consider damage.

You're probably going to get denied if you don't have someone to help you like a contractor or proper adjuster.

Seek Now claims to act as a third party for insurance companies. In reality a homeowner or policy holder has a poorly trained and unprofessional kids essentially making coverage decisions on their property. They claim to objectively report damage but in reality their first priority is to keep the insurance companies, their employers, happy. If you have an insurance claim PLEASE, for your own sake, make sure you request an actual insurance adjuster inspects your roof.

I was told that I have Wind Damage in person while It was apparently written that I had other issues when the inspector left. I would highly recommend fighting State Farm for a licensed adjustor so you do not get the screws like my claim. I have 8 houses around me with wind/hail damage so I must have been in the center of the hurricane I guess. Avoid this company at all cost especially if State Farm sends them. You deserve to be shot straight and you deserve and actual licensed adjustor.

For years, the insurance adjusting industry has been the same. Long claim time cycles and an overloaded claims amount for adjusters to keep up with. Claims can often take more than a month to cycle. Seek Now, formerly Ladder Now has changed the game. They offer the adjuster full inspections, Interior, Exterior and Roof inspections and cycle that claim window in HOURS, not months. Seek Now offers Ladder Assists to adjusters with steep and high roofs, they offer interior damage assessments and all their reports integrate immediately into Xactimate, the software adjusters use as well as Virtual Assists for staff and desk adjusters. This provides the carrier and adjuster with real time data and gets the insured on with their lives in the restoration process. I have found the leadership from the top down at Seek Now is forward thinking, able to change on a dime and really invests in their staff training and field inspectors. If you are an adjuster and you have claims piling up on your desk, this company is FOR YOU! For a low, flat rate they will be on time, every time. Professional service and accurate damage calls every time. They work hand in hand with the adjuster and carrier every step of the way, ensuring communication and promptness with thorough inspections every time. I highly recommend this company for all your claims needs!

Insurance Carriers use this company for cheap denials. They claim to be unbiased yet they only work for Insurance Companies and they are competing for business with other 'ladder assist' companies. Basically if they dont inspect the roof how the adjusters wants, the adjusters can call other companies who will. How can you be unbiased when you depend on the carriers calling you for survival?

Also, they love to quote HAAG standards. The interesting thing about that is I've read many insurance policies (aka contracts) and not one has ever mentioned HAAG. So they are judging damage based of some 3 party standard that isnt enforced by the policy language. To me almost delegitimizes there inspections.

I've ran into some good inspectors. It's why I gave them two stars. I've ran into some bad ones too. Egomaniacs who think they know everything. Inspectors who think they are Adjusters, engineers. Contractors, meteorologists, etc. Proceed with caution and be ready to ask your agent for a reinspect.

Also be aware that they hire 1099 sub contractors to do the inspections. There inspectors are not even their own employees. Hopefully ladder now verifies there insurance cause it could bite ya in the a$$ if they dont and they get hurt. Maybe I'm wrong IDK just my opinion.

I believe the roofers are the real scammers who actually end up causing damage to your roof when they go up there without you to inspect. Then they come down from the roof and act like your roof is severely wind damaged. A local roofer where I live got caught doing this and he was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison. Not sure about these third party companies, but the roofers (or just an old roof at the end of its life expectancy) are usually the problem based on what I have heard from contacts in the industry. These third party vendors get paid either way and don't make the claim determination. Your insurance company will review the photos from the vendor in addition to several other resources (NOAA, NWS, AWS) which can identify exact wind speeds in the area on the date of loss. Also they consult with the government resources (Pentagon) for pre loss information (Ariel photos dating years before the date of loss). Don't believe what roofers say, they are the scammers who are causing damages in a lot of cases.
