The inspectors are representatives for the insur...

The inspectors are representatives for the insurance company not an objective 3rd party and are instructed to “call it right, call it tight”, what this actually means is to call it in favor for the insurance company. In fact the office will literally change information in their reports before sending it to the adjusters.The inspectors can actually face consequences and are threatened with less claims or possibly not get paid for claims if they do not. The problem isn’t the inspectors but the company. They’re supposed to be 1099 contractors but in fact they’re treated like employees.
