Do yourself a favor save the headache and use some...

Do yourself a favor save the headache and use someone else. I read the previous review and that is what happened to me I just moved from Arizona to Ohio based on the information that I received from the loan officer.

I provided all the documentation they needed, and I was pre-approved for a new home loan / mortgage. I spent a month with them giving them all the information they need. The loan officer assured me that I am approved, and I have nothing to worry about. He went as far as telling me I have his word that I am approved and i have the loan. That I have nothing to worry about and I should trust him, that he would not steer me wrong - he gave me his word that I have this loan. When I did not get the CD (approval letter with all the details) I got very suspicious. The loan officer kept telling me I was approved but not sending me an approval letter. I finally asked to speak to his boss. I come to find out that I am not approved 7 DAYS before I am supposed to close on the house.
I moved for out of state, got all my stuff here, spent time and money on this house. I can t tell you in words the shock I got when I was told I am not approved. I did everything I did based on what this loan officer told me. Now I am stuck in Ohio with no job and no home.
Do not go with there people. You will regret it!!!!

My dealings with this outfit were nothing short of a nightmare. Ashley Siler refused to communicate with me after sending me a quote. Had to complain to a manager to get Thomas Jemczura. He started out better but it went downhill fast. Thomas totally screwed up closing disclosure and had to postpone the closing. My payoff on current mortgage was delayed by three days for some unknown reason. The title company had to call me and put me in the middle to get anything done. I called Keller constantly with no return calls. Finally they sent the wrong loan payoff amount to the title company last minute. The title company tried to talk me into canceling but it was too late. The title company called them the chop shop of lenders as they sell their loans only after a couple of payments to them. That s a good thing as I would hate for them to manage my loan. This outfit is total incompetence. Good rates but not worth the inept customer service. They simply can t deliver.

I've had the pleasure of help several of my client's purchase homes and saved thousands and the interest rate was unbeatable....they tried. We've had a few kinks to work out when the program 1st launched and it has been smooth sailing since. Buyer's I've worked with are willing to do the work uploading their documents because they SAVED so much all the way around. They are thrilled!

If you own your own business, an 800 credit score, no consumer debt and 100k in the bank, you can t get approved. DISCRIMINATION against those who start their own businesses. Absolutely pathetic and disheartening.

My husband has been working there for 6 months, and he's finally happy going to work! They value their employees, show their appreciation, and are just plain nice people. I can't speak to the loan process, but I can speakto the employer quality.

These guys are not the sharpest tools in the shed. Just to give a quick recap of my recent nightmare with them.

I m pre-approved for a refinance on my home. They get all financial details and we proceed. I then spend the next two months giving them every last document you could possibly need. Everything seemed fine and then I was informed that I did not make enough money to proceed. The financial information was the very first thing they have to verify and approve to move forward. How was I not denied originally and I could have used a different lender. Nope, not with Keller. They have no problem wasting your time. For the rates they have, which are not the best out there, they sure have extremely high standards for approval. Do yourself a favor and use any other lender than Keller. You ll spend less time, save more money and have an overall better experience.

So my husband got a call from someone from this company asking for my email password. Why the hell do they need my email password?!! Sounds like a scam or a fraud company if you ask me. Stupid. Do they want to go into my email and see my email correspondence? Doesn't sound like a legitimate mortgage company if you ask me.

We attempted to refinance our house with Keller Mortgage and quickly regretted it. 2 months into the process, we still hadn't closed. As soon as we agreed to begin the process we started receiving a large number of e-mails from about 9 different people (not an exaggeration) requesting various information. We promptly replied to the e-mails, filled out and signed the necessary documents, but we found that they would repeatedly ask for the same documents and information over and over again. It seemed to us that even though we uploaded the documents, the employees were not reviewing the documents and just asking for the same form again from us. In addition, we found that their people sent unprofessional e-mails to our employers telling them that they had filled information out incorrectly employment verification forms incorrectly.

Eventually we cancelled the process with Keller and moved to another company. I have purchased 2 homes in the last 5 years and both went extremely smoothly and took less than 30 days.

Scott was AWESOME! I received nothing put clear and very responsive communication throughout the whole process. I was a first time home buyer and every single one of my questions was answered in a simple yet detailed way. Thank you Scott for helping me purchase my forever home!

Terrible waste of time. I've been preapproved by another lender, but they are out of state. My realtor suggested talking with another lender, one who is local. Talked with Carl Amerine at Keller a couple weeks ago. I had an issue with my credit score tanking due to increased credit usage (31%). I charged my move to the area. I paid down and paid off a couple card and am not at 19%. My score has rebounded significantly. Carl told me to check back with him after the credit scores updated (August 1). I emailed him when I saw a +30 point increase; he responded saying "sorry for the confusion; I don't have any outlets to help you." What? Why string me along? When I said this would make a great review, he called to manage my memory of the conversation we'd had. How many ladies out there have experienced this? I must have remembered wrong! Seriously?! Terribly offended!!! By the gross reviews Keller receives, I'm not surprised. The only good reviews are from employees or agents. There are other companies out there willing to work with you, even female-friendly.
