Best car purchase ever!

Dennis Murray, sales manager, and his very professional team, Noel and Bobby, more than exceeded our expectations.

My wife and I have leased or purchased many automobiles in the past; Lexus, BMW , Infiniti , Cadillac and Mercedes.

We were advised by a friend that Keyes and Dennis were the best. Actually, they understated the actual experience.

We will definitely return for our next Mercedes.

Amazing service by Dontae, helped me get a C300 coupe I couldn't be happier about. These guys are really pros at what they do and customer service is top notch, didn't feel pressure at all, and test drove 2 models before landing on the coupe. Dontae was super friendly and helpful, definitely recommend this place for anyone thinking of getting a Mercedes.

Definitely not my favorite Mercedes dealer out there they do have a great selection of a big selection but they re always overpriced and some of the mark ups they put on cars are ridiculous try to buy jelly and they try to put a $10,000 mark up what a joke so I went to Fletcher Jones with no markup

Had a 10 am appointment for a tail light recall, but i arrived at 9:35am in hopes of expiditing the process also thinking that they would appreciate my early arrival. Um no they did not as my car keys werent taken from me until 10:20am. No hello's, no sorry for the wait nor mentioning "we will get you out as soon as possible.

SALES

While my vehicle was being serviced I decided to walk around and of course waste time. A sleezy, smooth, fast talking salesman by the name of SHAWN KHAN who immediately developed an urban persona once we began our conversation. I suppose it was an attempt more so one of many sales techniques that their taught to customize each tour based on demographic, but let's be clear it's all assumptions.

I can go on and on (that's what she said), but allow me to highlight the most important tricks etc. Shawn aggressively tried to force me to lease a vehicle by filling out an application on my behalf, falsely adding financial information. Demanded a debt card for some odd reason, in addition to that he started off with a lease rate of $795 per month after i repeatedly told him that I'm not interested. Long story long, he held my identification hostage until I responded to his questions and made me feel like I was some idiot because I wasn't interested. Interesting! Oh the details of his deal,

7500 miles per year
$500 per month
$3000 down
And more b.s.

Now the average California driver, drives anywhere between 10,000 to 12,000 miles per year. So on the milage he's ripping me off.

Who in their right mind would lease a C300 2015, for $500 per month? "NOT I SAID THE CAT." Way too much money for a car, in which will loose value the moment I drive off the lot.

Oh well nothing will change.

I've been a Mercedes owner for most of my adult life, and Keyes European has been my dealer for over 12 years. I've always appreciated the convenience of being able to get my car in and myself out with a loaner in a minimal amount of time at Keyes, and I've never had a problem with my car being serviced. However, one of the many things I've loved over the years that seems to be lacking at this point has been the art of the "customer service" itself. I had 2 very good people in the past who used to greet me with conversation that felt like they cared about my day as much as tuning up my car. The friendly banter always made me feel special and appreciated. In the last year, I've been handled by one person who couldn't be bothered with much more than getting through the service set up without looking me in the eye, to another who literally spent so much time telling me about his life that I could barely respond or contribute to the "conversation." This may seem like a small concern - after all, the service department is there to keep my car running smoothly. While that's true, part of the my past Keyes experience that made it special was connecting with the Keyes family and heading into my day in a good mood. I'm aware that we live in a cynical world where $ and numbers have become more important than people....but I do believe that part of what made America great in the past was the extra special care we used to give at the point of service. Please don't lose that special trait that defined your service team.

I had the best experience at Keyes European, Josh was THE BEST! He was so helpful and understanding. My car ended up needing a few things fixed so Josh kept me updated the whole time. I was so pleased with everything that I made my husband bring in his car to get serviced when I picked up mine!

I recently had a great experience with Keys European Mercedes Benz. I took my car in for major sbc break service that I had under warranty and Keys took great care of me and my car. I have a 2003 E320. I had Harmony B. as my service representative and she took good care of me. All the service Representative were great. I wasn't hassled. I would definitely go back. Thanks Keys European Mercedes! My car looks and is doing great after my service!

Typically, when you walk into a car dealer, you can anticipate a salesperson being fairly aggressive to gain your business. When walking into this dealer, this seemed to be the case, at first, which is a good thing. An interest in the customer shows a desire to help them purchase the car they are hoping to find. I was looking to lease the A220, but I wanted all of the available vehicle driving capabilities. As soon as the person realized that I was in the market for a car that did not exist on the lot, their demeanor changed. They handed me their card, told me to go online and build the car I wanted and to send that to them. They would then order that car, and we could work out a deal when the car arrived. To me, this ruined the experience. Going into Mercedes, you d expect a level of customer experience that goes beyond just a simple, Sorry we re out of that, come back some other time. I get that the brand, Mercedes, itself brings customers in, but it s somewhat surprising that this attention to detail is vastly overlooked. This salesperson had an opportunity to gain not just a customer, but a promoter, which is more valuable to a brand than only a buyer. Instead, I left feeling like that was a waste of time and that I m going to head to a different luxury brand that will hopefully be more attentive to the customer experience.

The staff are professional, very welcoming and I have never had customer service experiences like I have here. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for 5 star service.

Had an issue with my tire making a funny sound. I pulled into Keys on Van Nuys and was greet it right away I was taken to a desk for a bit and we re very clean very professional very nice gentleman.
He addressed my problem right away gave me a loaner car so I can head back to my office and then call me when it was done overall my experience was great I would recommend anyone to stop by and ask for Edward or any of the associates real professional really clean spot.

It took us 6+hours to purchase a car. We ran out of gas on our test drive, our salesman didn't go over operations of the vehicle, the F and I guy told us a service was included in our price and wasn't, he also did not give us a copy of our extended warranty. I had to call and talk to 3 different people to get a copy emailed and when I received it, it was for 1 year not the agreed 2 years. Several people promissed they would get back to me and didn't I had to call back. I had to talk to 5 different people to finally recive a part over a month later that was included in our contract. Horrible customer service we could not ever recommend this dealership.

Extremely disappointed to the customer service there. I have been leasing two cars; Mercedes E400 and E 300 4Matic for almost 2years. Nothing bad about the cars. Since I am planning to lease a new car for my sister.

Since I love Mercedes already, I am planing to lease our next two cars with them again. I enjoyed going there just to check there's anything new coming to get an idea for our next car. Anything new coming out from Mercedes always excite me every time.

I went there today to change the tire. The lady told me to wait for 1 hour. I went in the waiting room and took m&m as usual. Gary ,his name strongly loudly said " Ah you came back for M&M? like a joke in front of people there.
I felt embarrassed. He said like I go there and take it every days.

I was very upset, I came home to tell my friends the story, they were very angry about that. My friend decided to go there to support me. We decided to talk to the sales manager. He seemed helpful and told me that lots of people go there and take a lot of sodas , cookies, water and go home with doing nothing. However he was protecting his own workers.

I decided to see the General manager. Again I told him the story, he seemed reasonable. He call Gary to talk and ask him about the situation. He was extremely angry .He said He met me there three days in the roll which wasn't true. He was lying to his manager. He was loosing control and screaming at me as if he has used his own paycheck to buy m&m to supply Mercedes Keyes kitchen. " that place is not a Starbucks " that was what he said. "You can't take a cup of m&m" it 's too much. My friend was angry too to see him screaming at me disrespectfully in front of the manager.

Wow, I've never been treated very poorly before. Even my friend couldn't accept for what he said. He was teasing my friend who is gay and has accent in front of his co worker in front of his manager. Gary called my friend "beautiful " a few times and trying to act rudely like a queen gay to tease my friend. I couldn't believe that the manager has no power to say something or at least tell him to stop screaming.

We couldn't believe they are hiring that rude guy to sell their high end car Mercedes.

We decided to leave there immediately after we found out that no matter what we say, nobody 's listening because they all are the same team.
Or may be the manager was right about some people came and took the whole sodas from the refrigerator. If that was really happening there, it is showing that you go to look for Mercedes in a very poor area. I was surprised that they were fighting to save their M&M instead of keeping our nice relationship and treating us with respect while we are leasing two cars from them.
I will never return to that place again ever!!!
Even the sales manager was standing there with his friends laughing at us while we walked out of the dealership.

To be honest, please don't go to see the cars there unless you feel that you want to be treated like a homeless who try to get their free food and leave.

Keyes is very efficient and customer friendly. Everything turned out great with my car plus they washed and vacuumed it. Free drinks snacks and coffee. My only heartburn is the piped music.... I suggest they have smooth jazz since the average age of customers seemed about 55 or greater.

I have had such great service over the past few years. The facility is clean and organized. The service advisors always make me feel as if they are going above and beyond to accommodate me and service my car. They are very efficient. I will buy another car from them in the future as a result of the good quality service I receive.

if your car is out of service warranty, take it to somewhere else. Way over priced and their hourly rate to just find the problem is 195.00.Then, you pay for the parts. will never go back.they find a way to charge you way more then if you take your car to a MB private shop like Boulivard auto.
honest, is a MB specialist and Nelson will not screw you.

This is the best service I ve ever had in my life time. I m yet to know someone like Hayek, Nile, Tivan, Ricardo, Josh.... Hayek is super nice and professional, so is Niles, the general manager, Tivan, the diesel mechanic, Ricardo and Josh, the rental car guys. My husband used to go to a shop in Oxnard, thinking that it could be cheaper than the dealership, then I found out about Van Nuys and I won t go anywhere else but Keys Mercedes Van Nuys. The really take a good care of you. I love this place.

As far as the service side Mark P. is the best! Always takes care of me for every situation possible, he is super knowledgeable. I highly recommend him. And as far as sales side, Danny Y. will get everything done extremely quickly and not waste your time. I ve known Joseph for almost 10 years he s always been great in giving me a great price. I just met Johnny and he is also great, made sure I got everything I needed for my car, he also did everything fast and efficiently. Couldn t ask for better service from the sales side. Especially with these 3 gentlemen.

I had an interesting but poor experience. At the end of my ride I leased a vehicle from a different Mercedes dealership.

In summary these guys waisted 10 hours of my life, lied to me multiple times, laughed about it while I am sitting 20 feet away, dropped my credit score, didn't follow through and didn't have the decency to man-up.

It all started when I asked a sales person if a used car had adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). I was told it did so I went in to purchase the car.

They pulled my credit and offered a 4.99% rate which I accepted. When I made it to finance the rate went to 5.99% which I questioned. The finance guy told me the rate was not guaranteed. He then proceeded to pull my credit again and offered me a 4.69% rate. Credit score dropped again another 3 points.
I left with the car after spending 4 hours hour at the dealership. On my way home I almost got in to an accident using Cruise Control trying to activate the non-existent ACC feature. The feature I told them I needed and they said the car had.
After spending another hour learning the car didn't have ACC, I took the car back. It took the dealer until the next day to figure what I told them is true.
When I asked them to make me whole for my time and for dropping my credit score which was initiated by the sales person providing false information. They refused and instead offered to find me a GLC with the same features.
I waited 4 days for them to get back to me and I didn't get one call regarding the car they committed to finding. It took me 15 minutes to find the car at another dealership 5 miles away, which I leased that day.
I called them the next day (they still hadn't called me) to return my original purchase which was still at their dealership. I was told to come in to sign the return paperwork. When I got there, they told it was not necessary for me to drive to the dealership after they told to do so. I wish there was an invention which would have allowed them to call me to tell me not to drive for 15 minutes to the dealership.

Donald was my service advisor and he is the best. Taking your car in for service is usually an effort in the day, Donald has a way of making it easy and a pleasant experience.
He explains everything very clearly and allows you to feel comfortable with the decisions that he allows you to make, thank you Donald.

Usually going through the dealership is always a haggle, but Keyes European is always fair and honest up front! Scott got me an Uber to and from my house so I didn t have to wait at the dealership as well. Great service! Thank you Scott.

I returned my leased car and got a new one two years ago, they promised they will take care of the minor damage for the old car, they only covered a portion and let MB to post bad debt on my credit report !! I tried to reach out to them to fix it but they insisted that it is not their fault...I have me credit score damaged for $350 !!!! ....I will never use them again. Period

Hey Keyes. You can spend money on decorating the inside of your dealership lavishly but can't take the time to hire competent sales managers? It's upsetting to have a manager delay your sales person by having him run in circles so that another sales person that he favors can get the sale instead.

Take some time to hire good sales managers who don't have pea-sized brains that openly spew lies and waste people's time. Also, why would you hire someone that communicates like he has no education? I m not your bro, don t talk to me like I am. Oh, if you have to tell me that there will always be one upset party, then you are clearly doing something wrong. I hope you get fired.

I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. I can't even imagine how toxic the work environment is behind the scenes. I feel horrible for my sales person. I can go to another dealership with my business, but he still has to put up with everyone there.

You really need to clean up your staff. I thought Keyes Lexus was bad but this place set a new low.

Was our salesman, he has a excellent customer service skill and wonderful personality that made me drive from Fresno Ca to Los Angeles which is 3 hours away, just to purchase our Mercedes from him. Unlike other salesmen he took my phone call seriously and help me find the right car that fit my needs. We purchased our C class March of 2015 and now I am looking to purchase a GLC and will definitely travel back to Van Nuys to purchase from Grayr. Even till this day he's very welcoming and if anything I need in regards to my current Mercedes and future Mercedes ( GLC ) as he mentioned he's only one call away. Thank you Grayr for the wonderful experience.

They kept me in loop of the problem I was having and that the service and problem was done in a timely manner with a nice loaner car made available.

Best service ever.

So glad we no longer go to BH Mercedes even though it is closer for us.

Also Megan is the best service advisor!! She makes me feel like a VIP and not just a number . Megan follows up quickly and makes sure the work gets done . Thank you Megan ! So glad I have my G wagon back !

Keys has the largest MBZ inventory i have ever seen. Place is clean cars are available in any color and feature you can ask for. Most importantly is the sales person who has helped my family for years his name is Vladimir.
The man has class, knowledge of the product, and he fights for you to get the best possible numbers. He has constantly exceeded our expectation. He has many repeated clients. He spends time before the deal is done and after to make sure that you know what you are going home with.
Way to go Vladimir. A true class act.

This afternoon I came in with my car since suddenly my 6 month old SL Mille Milega key wasn't working.

Well I drove up to service and NOBODY even bothered to ask me what i was there for, sat in my car for about 10 minutes, NOTHING.
I have serviced my car at 3 other dealers and everyone usually is quiet up to the task and try to help out. The jockeys get the car and try to find you a service advisor.
I ended up going up to the desk outside and still no one paid attention at all they just went about their business, mostly talking to each other.
So I went inside trying to see if I can get a service advisor and Not even one person ended up paying attention. I am talking a full 20 minutes walking around the service area.
I have a Brand new $128,000 SL it's not like I had a crappy 20 year old car and I still was shocked SO I walked to them and asked them a question.
My Key is not working who do I see?? They said just go to parts, probably a battery and they'll sell you a battery.
At this point I went to the Service, The gentleman Dennis, wasn't there, another guy ended up coming to the other side of the desk and when he walked in, asked if he can help and that guy jumped in and said he wanted some parts.
Dennis promptly got them, the guy asked for some more stuff, he helped him right away and while I was waiting, even though was very brief, He quickly said, Sorry Sir, I'll be with you in a second. This was totally opposite of what has happened so far.
The other guy tried to pay with $100 bill, Dennis politely asked him to go to the other desk to pay and while he was still typing an order he asked me, How can I help you??
I told him and he quickly looked at the key and said how old is the car, I said not even a year, but the other guy when told me to get a battery and I told him it was less than a year, said something about they keep pinging each other and I am lucky I got a year out of it.
Dennis kind of was surprised at that and looked at my key, and said, Well Sir, The battery is dead, no light when you press it. Popped it open and in less than 10 Second he changed the battery and said, Usually it's a $1000 but no charge for you today.
WOW, I was shocked as why this guy is the opposite of the whole staff that I saw so far, and I think I told him thanks and I think I might even bring my car back for next service even if it's just because of Dennis.

Now that's what I call Service......... too bad everyone else doesn't work the same way.

My experience was awful!!! "Service" advisor Chris Laporte was rude from the start and greeted me with "Is this the car that was suppose to be here at 8am?" My appointment request online was for 10am! It got WORSE...he then said that my car was no longer under warranty and that I was going to pay for my visit. My car has 22K miles and is 3 years old. After contacting MBUSA, to confirm my car is clearly still under warranty, I received no apology. I cant say any better and service manager Michael "Mike" Montague. Horrible service! Never will I purchase or repair at this dealership.

WOW! Best Sales Experience Ever with Rudy, Keyes Mercedes' Internet Sales Manager!

I went to Keyes to lease a 2015 C300 and got to work with Rudy. Told Rudy what I wanted in my Mercedes, the down and the payment that I would like to stay around.
Rudy made it all happen with ease, hassle free and no back and forth or time waste. Rudy went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and made me a very happy customer. Rudy was patient and so sweet to my mom and dad too, who came with me, to help me pick my first Mercedes. Won't be my last Mercedes and my next 1 will absolutely be from Keyes too!

Keyes European would not honor a warranty for the car battery they installed nine months ago.

In addition, they bounced me back and forth between their customer service representatives without even being able to acknowledge who is to handle the complaint, let alone address it.

Bare with me this one is going to be long and bad...

Up close and personal. I was considering buying pre-owned C300 across the street and ventured to Keys Mercedes in order to see what they have to offer, as they are the official dealer and have certified pre-owned cars. We were met by some sales person who was rude from the get go and when he figured we are not looking for something where he can make more money on us, got even ruder. Told us that they have nothing to offer..and the prices they have for C300 ( which were much higher) are good and if we don't wanna buy in on that we can pretty much "keep walking"...We took the advice and walked back across where professional, knowledgeable and honest people gave us great deal on the car I wanted ( the rate was a bit high as my credit was not ideal but it was told to us straight up and I had no problem with it)....No dirty tricks and we even got platinum extended warranty on the car.Thanks Miller Honda...

At that point I swore never to go back to Keys Mercedes....

Well, few days ago we decided we need a small SUV to cater our two 100 lbs puppies and suit the other family needs. I recently got promoted and got great salary increase and could definitely spend some mula on payments.

We went to look at Nissan and Honda and didn't find what we wanted. I kind of liked GLK 350 beforehand, and so we go "well lets just go look it wouldn't hurt" right? Oh no...

We go in the keys and this sales person meets us, and he is nice..We tell him we have been wronged here before and he assures he won't let it happen again...we find the right priced 2012 Certified GLK...Great....they run the credit, we go back and forth with offers ( at this point hours have passed already)...Finally we are passed to the shadiest Russian dude around (is this because we are Russians or what?)...He proceeds to go rude by telling us the deal they offer us is exceptional and we should be soo happy and so on because no one else can offer us such great deal at this percent....we eventually agree to sign papers and go to finance department...only to find in process they stashed extra 3k for warranty on car that is already covered by warranty without telling us and some other things we didn't ask for...they have it crossed out ...We sign...They assure us everything is great and they grantee the financing, because they are the largest dealership in the USA blah blah...

Well the day after they ask for three moth ( 3 MONTH) of my bank statements, which again is fine because in reality I make even more then I put on their application, and way more then enough to cover the damn car they sold me. They give me wrong email to send them to the first time, and cannot get them next few times I email, and then they can't print them out ...So I am asked to fax statements which I do.

A day later, finance manager calls me and says oh sorry but we had hard time finding bank to finance you because you have another auto loan open ( what?? you run my credit report A$$holes! ).They got finances in order finally he says...but the ONLY change is we have to do 60 instead of 66 months and that's it....and can we come resign the contract.

We drive down there and shady Russian dude proceeds to tell us that not only time span differs, they also could only prove us for a higher rate...Are they first day in this business that they do not know what people can and cannot qualify for? and how the hell they tried to offer us shady deal where they offered to make the price of car higher and interest lower by nearly a half if they cant even approve me for twice as much??? And why was I lied to on the phone???

We are seriously considering returning the car to them now...

THE WORST SCAMMERS EVER, SHADY, RUDE, LYING...I AM NEVER AGAIN BUYING FROM THERE...

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR BUY YOUR MERCEDES ELSEWHERE!!!

I purchased an E-450 Mercedes from one of the dale...

I purchased an E-450 Mercedes from one of the dales person at Keyes European Mercedes Benz. The monthly payment is about $70 per month from the same exact car at Beverly Hills Mercedes. I was told that the car has all the options. The car does not have the basic options whatsoever. I was not allowed to test drive the car either. I am trying to return the car after 6 days. They are paying their games and are trying to make it difficult for me to return the car.
I am so disappointed at this dealership. I will never approach this dealership.

I ve been looking to lease a 2018 E400 with 15k miles and no other dealer in LA could offer me a price within my budget and said the price I m requesting is impossible to get. That was a total lie! Keyes European gave me the exact car I wanted fully loaded at my price point. I was shocked, yet ecstatic. This Dealer really came through for me and I am so grateful for their honesty and commitment to their customers. I will continue doing business with this Dealer and advise you do as well if you truly want the best deal in town. Seriously!!!!!

I received a letter from David Kohan inviting me t...

I received a letter from David Kohan inviting me to consider leasing a 2019 roadster. I set up a appointment fot the following day, and met him at Keyes. He suggested that I check out the 2019 and invited me to work with Dontae, his right hand salesman to see what I thought of the car.

The car was terrific, fun to drive, and had a lot of upgrades or improvements over the car I had been driving. Dontae showed me all of the upgrades, and I experienced him as highly knowledgeable about the roadster, and he presented the various cars, similarities and differences, as well as the features on the car that he located for me. The car he located had all the features that I was accustomed to having, and Dontae demonstrated and explained how those features had improved in the 2019. Dontae was able to address the differences and demonstrate how they had improved since I got my previous car in 2017.

Between Dontae and David, they were able to get me the car, the features, and even the color of the car that I wanted without increasing my payment for a brand new car. These men were a pleasure to work with and an efficient, effective team. They found the car that most interested me at a price that I was comfortable with.

I ve been delighted with the car. It s really fun to drive. Really, and I m not a kid. It s fun to drive. Additionally, the features such as the maps, road guidance, and even the garage door openers and radio/music and Bluetooth are significantly improved. I was glad to do business with these fellows. They are two great guys, and I highly recommend that you contact them if you re even thinking about getting a great car: Dontae and David at Keyes Mercedes on Van Nuys Boulevard in Sherman Oaks.
