Best Service Advisor I have ever had the pleasure ...

Best Service Advisor I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with is Mike Conover. I think he is probably the reason I keep getting Mercedes after Mercedes instead of a different brand. His knowledge and professionalism is second to none. I mean that.

No establishment is going to be perfect.

No establishment is going to be perfect.
But its when the establishment that falls short, how they rectify the situation that makes them a great company. All my minor complaints were handles handled expeditiously and with compassion.
That is almost unheard of these days.
As far as the overall experience, it was excellent and quick! Thank you Casey, and thank you keyes! If onky every company could follow in your foot steps of costumer service!

Service B was managed at KEYES, Van Nuys, by Edvard Avetyan - Service Advisor.
Edvard was there to receive me at the appointed time. Paperwork and Service B was done promptly.
Edvard contacted me no sooner the car was ready.
Edvard did a great job. Really professional and thorough.
Thank you Edvard.

Horrible Service. I left my car for car detail and wash at 10 am. Finally At 4 pm they called to inform me my car is ready to be picked. The details job that was done inside my car was so poorly and bad that I was shocked. Unfortunately i couldn t stay any longer I had to leave but as soon as I got home, I took several pictures of dirty windows and dusty dashboard and muddy floors and texted it to the service advisor with complain note but never heard back from her .! They don t even deserve one star also.

I'm posting this review as a former new hire

First off, Management didn't even have a desk set up for me when I arrived to my new position as a service advisor, as Management didn't know where they were really going to seat me yet. Why on earth would you, a large well known company, hire somebody in, and not have a desk and computer ready at a minimum for them? Management also had no computer logins, or passwords ready for me for the programs that are needed to open and do my new job. Management also decided to pair me with another service advisor to shadow and learn from, and be trained by somebody that had only been there 6 days himself, made zero sense. Nothing bad on the advisor at all that was helping me, he was awesome, Dennis was great at showing me the ropes, but he was way too new to have to be burdened with training someone else that was also just as new as him, very poor Management decision.

You, Management, need to pair a new advisor with somebody that's seasoned, experienced, and has been there for a while that is willing to help show a new employee the ins and outs. A new employee shouldn't have to be stressed out coming in the door not knowing anybody. They should be properly introduced to all the technicians, parts dept, reception, porters, because the 1st day of any job is stressful enough as is to not know anybody. It's also bad enough when Management is pushing you to start writing up service customers immediately without knowing how the service software works, that's just more added stress. Dennis didn't even know everybody in the service dept yet, and technicians were bringing up finished paperwork asking him if he was Dennis, techs didn't even know what he looked like after him being there a week, that's sad.

I don't care how big of a dealer you are, it's Managements responsibility at the end of the day to see that a new hire has a place to sit when showing up, is properly trained, and not having to be stressed out trying to figure it all out on his own guessing throughout his first day how it all works. Oh yeah, and get your 90 day guarantee written and signed on paper. They played dumb once all the paperwork was signed and turned into HR, instead I was told afterwards they "wouldn't let me starve", really? Well that's real professional, and very kind of you, but no.

I know I sound like a prim donna, and a narcissistic a**, I'm truly neither of those, but Management did everything wrong for a newly hired employee. I lasted one day and resigned the next morning. I knew on my way home after only 10 hours that I would not ever go back there as an employee, and that really sucks because it was a job at a well known dealer I've always wanted to work at. I've been writing service over 25 years, 8 of those years with BMW as a lead advisor, and I know what it takes to be successful, help make customers happy and get excellent CSI, I'm seasoned, I'm very good at what I do, but I was set up to fail when I walked into the door. I would have thought with Keyes having a big beautiful Mercedes Benz dealer, 2nd largest in California apparently, it would have been a better experience, a great career, but it was far from that, it was another poorly ran dealership, like all other automotive Corporations that are out there on the planet. Corporations hire egos and big talkers, and pay them over inflated paychecks to run daily operations and sit behind a desk. They don't hire experienced people with the customer service experience or management skills that are truly needed to do the job correctly, and that's just sad, because in the end, the customer is the one who suffers, along with the employees and moral. Now you will continue to get 1 Star reviews like this one, like all the ones before it, and not to mention the ones that are coming after this post. Thanks for wasting a day of my life Keyes Mercedes, and you know what else, I'm keeping the ties.

I literally had the worst experience I've ever had trying to buy a car here. Here's how the story goes....

I went in there and of course, was greeted by a sales guy right away. We looked around, test drove a few cars, and settled on one that I wanted to buy. Then, the negotiations started. After going back and forth for about 45 min, we finally got to the point where we made a deal. I shook the salesmen's hand and we were all smiles. I then shook the managers (Jeremy) hand who said "congratulations" on your new car. I filled out my credit app which I passed with flying colors after they ran my credit. They then sent the car to be washed and I was waiting in line for the finance office to sign final paperwork. They even brought me a bag to start cleaning the stuff out of my old car. All sounds like a normal car buying experience right? WRONG.

All the sudden, the salesmen comes up to me and says "ohhhhh, yah..sorry but we actually put the numbers into the computer wrong and even though we told you it would be "X" price, we can't honor that and need to raise it by an additional $46 a month. We're really sorry but that's the best we can do"...uhhhh, what?! We shook hands, I filled out the paperwork, I shook hands with your boss..."Sorry sir, it was absolutely our mistake but there's nothing we can do. Will you pay the extra $46 a month please?" ABSOLUTELY NOT I SAID. I then left with no car after wasting over 3 hours of time there.

It get's better...I called the general manager the next day whose name is Simone. Simone told me that I WAS LIEING AND THAT HIS MANAGERS NEVER MADE A DEAL and again, tried to sell me on the higher rate with an additional $46 a month. I said we shook hands, I shook his managers hand, they washed the car, we were waiting in line at finance...Simone says "Sorry sir but shaking hands, saying we have a deal, and doing all of that doesn't mean we had a deal" WHAT?! He then started yelling at me telling me I was wasting HIS time and continued to cut me off and wouldn't let me speak. This is the general manager at a Mercedes dealership? He actually admitted that when his salesmen and managers shake hands and tell you they have a deal , it doesn't actually mean you have a deal..it means they're trying to make a deal. Uhhh, como what?! wow.

Long story short, don't buy a car here. They are crooks, will mis lead you, and then try to tell you it's your fault and take no blame. Terrible people who do business in the worst way possible. There's lots of other Mercedes dealerships in the area so please use a different one.

I am not happy with the experience I had with keyes European van nuys 5400 blvd..knowing keyes as a big dealership I was fooled to have think that they sell only good cars but that is farfetched..I just bought a car full of problems and they ll tell u they can't help u bcos the car is a used car.I ll not recommend anyone to purchase..so please be wise when u go there cos I'm now a victim of that..and they are not even trying to help.the sale men are not truthful.ll do all they can to let you take the car but later they ll tell u something else...very very disappointed at keyes

Honestly this has been the best car buying experience I've ever had. From my initial outreach to the dealer, to the negotiation, to the financing, paperwork and hospitality at the dealership. I had spoken with several other MB dealers in the area and the level of courtesy and professionalism exhibited by Walied and his colleagues has been a class above in every respect.

I ve been a Mercedes owner for 38 years and a Keys client for most of those years. I can honestly say after the GM Simon left and purchased his own dealerships in West Covina I only wish I followed him. I recently leased a 2019 S Class Cab and much to my disappointment I caught the line item where they put in 7500 miles a year instead of 10,000. This was no accident This is not my only grievance but I will let it rest here. I m sorry to say the dealership I once knew is no longer that place I felt at home.

I had a wonderful experience here at Keyes European. Casey was very helpful, he even found a lost item of mine. He was very knowledgeable and got my car in and out of service in a timely manner. The whole process from start to finish was remarkable, even when arriving to the service area I was greeted immediately. Overall, great experience!!!

I have an old 97 S500. No one talks to me. If I had a G wagon or 2018 Mercedes, they would be feasting on my nuts. It is like some douchy Kim Kardashian tv show set. It you have fancy hair, gems, the newest car, they will treat you like royalty because dammit you are paying them to treat you that way! Giant prefab building with lots of beautiful Mercedes! Guys at the parts counter are very nice!

The service department is very good
BUT very expensive. First go to a regular mechanic you trust. If it can be fixed there without going to the dealer do it.

Imad Khoury Is my service associate! He is amazing and makes it really easy to get in and drop your car off. He lets you know the status of your car in the service Dept. And helps if their is any issue. I came a little early to pick up my car and he let me have a late pickup with no problem and no issues. Great pace to buy a car and the service is second to none.

Very very disappointed. Called parts department early and i ask If you guys carry the lamp for the license plate. Spoke with a woman and she said that she has it. Mind you that this is really important because I just got pulled over for that particular part. Anyway I have asked her put it aside under my name and she said ,that she will leave it out on the pay out counter. Then when I got there the part isn't there. Wow...... drove all the way from LA for nothing. This will be the last time I will shop there.

It was the easier time we had in buying a car. They were fast and fair with out negotiations. Our salesperson Fernando Alvarez was great the the whole time. He also made sure the car was ready, gassed up and explain the features of the new vehicle we purchased. I will highly recommend Keyes MB and Fernando Alvarez.

Please beware of having your vehicle serviced at this dealership. As I mentioned in a previous review I brought my sprinter in for service and had a complaint about the front end feeling odd at 31k miles. I watched a tech come out, shine a flashlight under the side of the van as stated i don't see anything wrong. Fast forward to now, my van's shocks are so blown that i almost had an accident on the freeway from failing shocks. Calls to Tena, the service manager have not been returned and after a lengthy conversation with corporate customer service, they clam that a check was done to the vehicle while it was still in warranty and passed. I guess having a tech shine a behind the wheel is "their quality test." I mean it's only the lives of the consumer driving right? Bottom line, Key's stance, your vans out of warranty and in good faith they would be happy to give me 10% off the cost to replace both failed shocks. 10% are you kidding me! At the very least they should have offered to install the shocks for free if i paid labor or labor and parts would be covered but to offer to pay sales tax! That's a slap to the face! This dealership has given my van back to me twice with issues that where not resolved or checked that i directly asked then too. I would advise looking elsewhere to have service work done to your vehicle if you value quality work, honesty and a service department with integrity. I can't speak for the sales dept as my van was not purchased from them. I can say the sales staff was more then happy to get their fill of coffee and cookies before letting paying customers.

P.S. the single star reviews speak volumes for this dealer. please read them because it's bad enough to go without your vehicle for reg service, now have a vehicle that you've had service poorly and having to deal with it! Pick a higher ratted dealer and save yourself the headache.

They treated me like a VIP. I got exactly the car and options I wanted, transacted everything in one day over the phone and without hassle, and had the car personally delivered to me the next day! Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous. Best car leasing experience I've ever had!

It took me years to finally find a reliable dealership I can trust. Karin has been a tried and true confidant at Keyes Mercedes. Her warmth, professionalism, and proclivity toward excellence has kept me coming back for years. She has been an honest and authentic service provider that has helped my Mercedes continue to run at optimal levels. Greatly appreciate her and the great work of the mechanics at Keyes Mercedes. Looking forward to great years to come!

Service department sucks. Dont bring your car in for service here try Mercedes benz of encino. Keyes Mercedes doesnt give you a rental car on saturdays or Sunday's if its not for a oil change. My check engine light is on and they said they cant give me a rental. Its not worth it for them. But guess what now i wont be buying my car from you guys or get a service. I will take my business elsewhere so thank you for your very bad customer service whoever i spoke to on the phone. You guys should fire that girl she got attitude. Ill make it easier for you July 28 11:30ish she picks up the service phone.

I called two days ago and I was coming from Riverside County they sent me paperwork I ve done all the paperwork email it & they said when you come just sign and leave the most like 10 minutes been at the dealership for almost 2 1/2 hours & still not done. unacceptable and unorganized and unprofessional & definitely will not recommend to anyone.

5 stars are not enough to review my experience with Gary at Keyes.
I was met on arrival, I was shown many versions of the car and cars I was interested to see. Of course Gary had organised before I arrived.
This dealership is literally incredible. It is Mercedes heaven. They have them all - and there is a welcoming, open feel.
2 hours after arrival I left with a car. 5 stars plus. thank you.

The best experience I've ever had getting a car. Down to the home delivery of the car. Brian Sheldon took care of everything I could ever need or want and made my life easy. I highly recommend Keyes European. Everyone is treated like a VIP!

I took my cls in for a few necessary fixes at the service center at Keyes Mercedes because they sold me a car with problems. I went there about 4 times and they still didn't fix the problem until the last time. It was a dreadful experience because of how many hours it took to fix and how many times I had to go. Finally they had fixed everything.

Joseph, a Sales Consultant who identified himself as the Fleet Manager, made an error causing my involvement for a $2K mistake caused by him (and Keyes European) that will now evolve to much larger damages. This dealership sold us a brand new Mercedes with the $2K incentive and now wants that paid back a week after releasing vehicle with contracts signed. Worst of all, they were irate and publicly disrespected my friends.

Worst experience ever . I payed a lot of money for my 2018 e400 so when i came in i thought for sure the least i would get his respect but they didn t have a loaner vehicle for me . That s ok i get it but when they called me a Lyft the dude wrote my name down as Tyrone. My name is keraun but he put Tyrone which is highly offensive to a black male ( we are not all Tyrones ) . I couldn t believe it . i called and voiced my frustration but i didn t get one apology, all i got was keraun sounds like Tyrone . I ll never go there again !!

I was trying to do a health inspection on my GL 450 before passing it to my niece. Casey helped me with everything. He was polite and considerate. He gave me suggestions with reasons, definitely not tried to sell me anything or make a sale. Happy to have him as my rep.

I have been in there for service on a few occasions, in and out with no issues. Very helpful in getting a loaner quickly. During this pandemic everything and everyone has a protocol in doing service and getting you situated quickly and safely.

Dealership plays games on selling a car. Made sure to contact them told them the deal I was looking to get. They said they would beat it. And when I got there and drove all the way there. They just wanted to bring me in the door and try to sell me something else. This is not the way to do business. Its the 21st century you make a deal then stick with it. You word should be golden and not trying to just get the the customer in.

I recently purchased a car from them and they kind of put a trap on me with agreeing on one price, making you wait for long hours so you get exhausted a d then another sales person comes to change the price. I was really disappointed.

I spent 25 min looking at work Van's walked by 3 sales people never asked if I needed help. Or any questions. Not sure if i didn't fit there target customer base. I walked in show room and again sales men looked at me and looked away. No need to spend any money there.

Friendly staff and helpful service department (especially Josh!). Strong and courteous sales team but not over pressuring to close. Tremendous selection of vehicles from A class to Maybach. Classy showroom floor that's clean and polished with a reasonably good drink selection too.

The absolute WORSE and even that is too much for them, WORSE SERVICE, WORSE FOLLOW UP, WORSE ATTITUDE, but don't take my word for it go on and try them yourself and I will see you here again when you write your own Horror Story, Believe me You Will.

I got my C300 from Keyes European. I am very pleased with my car and the deal as well. I prefer to make a deal with not too aggressive sales people, luckily I found Brian Sheldon (VIP Sales Manager) and Adam (VIP Sales). Both of them worked for my car together, and I can tell they are truly caring and nice. They try their best to make the deal without playing a game. They tried really hard to get me the rockbottom price as well. Thank you, Brian and Adam!
