High end restaurant low expectations. Ordered the 20oz ribeye medium it was ok had better steak at Stony River restaurant. The sides were very mediocre, the corn was tasty, the mash potatoes tasted like instant mash the asparagus were grilled no flavor. The only thing I really enjoyed was the beet salad.

Just outstanding. There is an extremely high level of service here that is welcoming and friendly here, not at all stuffy or snooty. Smiles are all over this place, staff and customer alike.

Appetizers and sides here are much larger portions than you may expect, even for family style. They are also amazing.

One thing to keep in mind is that the space can be quite loud. People who are hard of hearing may have a difficult time.

Our server was great. The food was okay. My dad loved the bone marrow. My sister s risotto was extremely salty. I had the burger (that s right, I ordered a burger). It wasn t that great. A little bland and over cooked. The corn was good, but I think I expected too much. Prepare to spend a good amount.

Wow.

I was brought here earlier this year for my birthday. Because I'm not big on steak, I may eat it one or two times a year. But because I'd heard so many good things about this place, I wasn't going to order anything else.
I got a filet mignon to be cooked medium well and I know what you're thinking. To spite the temperature, this meat was so tender, I was basically able to cut it with my fork.
The server was great. The atmosphere was nice. It's a place to come and celebrate. It's a place to come and eat good food.

Great atmosphere, decor and service. The steak was just ok. Not the best steak I've had nor the worst. I expected better flavor from the 10 oz ribeye, but was disappointed. The steak was cooked to my specs, but lacked the flavor I usually expect from a ribeye. The lobster fritters, parmesan fries and spinach were good, but not exceptional.

Went to treat myself for my birthday. It was during Restaurant Week, and they had a special three-course meal for ONLY $35. Not big fan of either appetizer. It was a hanger steak, not on of the regular ones on the menu, It was cooked perfectly (medium), but wished they had offered a steak from their regular menu. My server was friendly and they go out of your way to take care of you and make sure you happy. Not sure if I could afford to come here normally as most entrees are at least $30 plus including salad and side dishes are A LA CARTE. Not a cheap dinner, but if you can afford it, it is worth it.

We went for my sister birthday just last night and it was amazing! The dry aged steak for two practically melts in your mouth and the lobster Mac and cheese could be an entree all by itself its so good. They helped us pick an excellent Spanish wine to pair with the steak and the free birthday dessert was a great capper. We don't do a lot of fine dining, but when we do this place will again be at the top of the list for us.

Made reservations here and when we got here still had to wait close to a hour. It was a reservation for 2 at 815. If I would have known that obviously making a reservation here only meant that when will just be on the list at the bottom then I would have chosen somewhere else where reservations actually meant something. Please dont make a reservation here and expect to be seated. Minus well just walk In.

The steak was good, but it wasn't what we expected for the price. It left my wife and I a bit disappointed compared to other steakhouses in Atlanta. The lobster bites we're very tasty and served with a lemon aioli. The mashed potatoes were bland, but the jalepeno creamed corn was amazing. The bar serves up perfectly mixed drinks. They ran out of the dessert that we wanted to try, but our server gave us a free dessert to go, which was a super nice gesture. The service was impressive and very attentive. I'm torn between a 3 and 4 star review, but I'll side with the 4.

One of the best steakhouses I've ever been too! I ordered the Cowboy Ribeye and it melted in my mouth! The sides were more than enough to share ! Great service and the atmosphere was awesome.

The food was amazing and the service was even better, Kyle was awesome! When he came to the table I could feel that he really cared about our experience and wanted to make sure it was great.

The staff is very knowledgable and pleasant. But the food was amazing. I had the 10oz special ribeye with the scalloped sweet potatoes and jalapeno cream corn. It was all delicious. The steak was so tender and juicy with a nice balance of seasoning. Trust me you will need no steak sauce with this one. If you are in the area you must stop by.

Often these hyped up steak houses are a disappointment. Not this time. Great martinis - bar is spectacular! Steak was delicious and cooked perfectly (black and blue filet). Sides were imaginative and delicious. Service was very good. Worth the dollars.

I had one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had here. From the appetizers (bacon and lobster fritters) to dessert, the meal was amazing. The service was optimal. I highly recommend this place for a great steak and seafood dinner.

The fiancee and I try to hit the Steakhouse at least once a year. It is expensive, but it truly is worth it. Expect to pay up to or over $100 a person. My fiancee and I got drinks, an appetizer, a steak for two, two sides and a (free) dessert for $280. (Which included a 30% tip because we know how to take care of serving staff!) Pro tip: tip well and EVERYONE takes care of you. We get more food, more drinks, better hotel rooms, free bottles of wine, and peace of mind by tipping serving staff the way they deserve. It is a very difficult job and they are extremely grateful when you treat them like humans. KR Steakhouse is AWESOME, and it is where we always choose to celebrate. We have never been disappointed.

Went here for our anniversary. The place is very swanky and has a hip feel to it. This is of course a fine dining establishment, so be prepared to fork up some coin (although in the whole of it, they aren't the most expensive out there for the quality of food you're paying for). The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

I didn't enjoy the noise level. The place has an open area feel that's now common with modern style restaurants, but sound travels very easy, so the place gets loud with everyone talking over each other, very not ideal for intimate dining.

Also, we were sat in a small table with a shared long cushion bench on one side in the middle of a busy walk area, so it felt even less private. I just don't expect to have the table privacy of a Panera bread when I've come for a fine dining experience and was prepared to pay for it. I even requested it in my reservation. I think there were some more private dining areas, but we definitely weren't on the VIP list for those...

I probably should have researched this restaurant more to see how it would chalk up as an intimate dining experience, but this came highly recommended by a local friend, and not being local myself, decided to gamble. Overall, the food is delicious and it's a great place for a fancy dinner party with some of your more hip friends, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything romantic.

While on the very high-end on prices, the food quality and service along with the restaurants interior ambience and relaxing outdoor area are worth it. This is the premiere place to go for a great meal! Perfect for corporate dinners and special occasions.

Only for a very special occasion, then only for that one time. To me a lot of money for what you get. Two people can easily spend $200 plus for dinner. Food was good, but way over priced. To many other places to go and get same food for way less money.

We had chopped salad, dry-aged ribeye, corns, and mac-and-cheese. Chopped salad was OK, little more oniony than I expected. The sides were excellent. It was little disappointing that the restaurant that is known for "steak" did not cook our medium-rare steak right. They brought it as rare, and re-brought it as medium-well-done. And it was not the best dry-aged steak, either. Though they were responsible for it, the experience was not that phenomenal for what we expected. I think, for the service, Flemming's is better, for the dry-aged steak, Capital Grille is better.

Had high expectations since this was the highest rated steak place in the area. Service and staff were great but the food was so very very average. The seasonal risotto seemed like it was made with minute rice with some watery squash. The spinach salad with bacon dressing was so over-smoked and had so much dressing it was almost inedible. The steak was prepared well but had an odd taste that neither of us could quite make out. For $250.00 I expect more refined dishes and better food execution. Won't go back and pay that price for average to below average food. The wine-steward was great and had a great recommendation.

I live next door. Tonight was the first time I ate there. I don't usually eat steak only cause I'm really picky about the way it's cooked. Rathbuns.. amazing! Best steak ever. Our server...Victoria, so sweet and awesome. Ask for her when you go there even though I'm sure all the employees are cool. I would recommend this place to everyone.

So disappointed...my boyfriend wanted to take me there for my birthday so we called to make reservations. The times wouldn t work so they told us we could come to the bar on a first come first serve basis. We thought that was perfect. Less formal. Show up, it s pretty packed as expected. My boyfriend orders a beer and a vodka soda for me and the bartender doesn t give us a price. My boyfriend goes to hand him a $20 and the bartender, very loudly stated in front of a very packed bar you re gonna need a lot more than that buddy and laughs. Rudest, most disrespectful thing I ve ever had happen at a restaurant. How about, that ll be x dollars sir . Turned off by that. Then, after waiting over an hour, one of the bar tips opens up and we went over to sit only to be told to leave that that had been reserved by someone who had been waiting...excuse me? First come first serve??? At that point I told my very sweet and kind boyfriend let s just go to Barcelona or bar taco. Food is great and no one treats us rudely. Didn t ruin my birthday but did ruin my desire to eat there...

It is a premium steakhouse for sure. Our medium rare steak order was still mooing when it arrived. Great service and good steak but for the price, get the steak temp perfect. I eat medium rare steak all day and love it. This one was like eating an ice cube. They did re-cook it and compted deserts, hence 4 stars.

Went here to celebrate my anniversary and it was phenomenal! The atmosphere was private and lit by candlelight. The food was mouthwatering. If you re into a good hearty steak, this is the place to go.

Came here for boyfriend s birthday and was extremely disappointed in the service/staff. After he expressed that he was not satisfied with the seats, no one seemed concerned with attending to us. After he spoke with the owner about his frustration he was then confronted by the manager about his complaint and it s validity. When I noticed the conversation between my boyfriend and manager was going south I stepped in to speak with manager alone. After I politely explained the situation to her and explained it was a special birthday she still offered no solution and continued to try to explain to me that his complaint was not valid. Not sure why confrontation was more important than taking care of the customer. Needless to say we left and will never be back.

We went as a party of 4 during Inman Park restaurant week and all got the special menu option for $35 a person. The calamari appetizer was pretty awful because the squid was rubbery and a little dry. The calamari at the Mediterranean to-go spot by my house is better. The portion size was tiny as well. My friend had the salad instead and liked it.

Two of us chose the short rib as our entree. The short rib was savory but very fatty and nothing spectacular. My boyfriend upgraded the special and got filet mignon for an extra $15 and was very disappointed. The filet wasn't especially tender, juicy, or flavorful. However, we were surprised by the excellence of our desserts, the pumpkin cheesecake and the pot du creme.

Despite a pretty decent salad and short rib and tasty desserts, we all left disappointed due to the lackluster quality of the filet mignon and the crappy calamari.

Portions are small but service is great. Andrew was our server and was fantastic. He recommended a great Syrah. Went back and sat outside and has a very pleasant dining experience. Michael was our server and really made our dinner a special experience. We will be back often.

This is the best Steakhouse I've been to in Atlanta. Likely top 50 in the Country. Service is excellent. The waiter had the perfect wine pairing. I truly enjoyed my meal. If there is a better Steakhouse in Atlanta, I want to know.

The only draw back, was the marble of the rib eye, the marble was concentrated near the bone. The bone in Ribeye seemed like a Bone in filet. It was that tender. But I think it lacked some of the flavor I've come to expect from places like Al Biernat's, The Butcher's Table, Nick & Sam's, or Old Homestead Steakhouse.

Absolutely friggin AMAZING!!!!!!!! Everything from the food to the drinks the service to the bar selection was top notch. My friend who came with me was a diehard Bones fan, but he has officially converted to Kevin Rathbun. He even asked to meet the chef to thank him for the amazing meal.

Unbelievable experience for our one year anniversary i think giving the 1 star is giving them too much credit we spent 2hr there and we never ate the food we ordered it took over an hour to prepare then my wife stake was well under cooked and the 2 times they took it back to fix it, it was still under cooked payed $60 for nothing. It was such a bad experience i dont even want to drive past there location ever again.

Excellent service, steak and cocktails! I came here and sat at the bar solo. Enjoyed grilled octopus to start, which was cooked perfectly and full of bold, balanced flavors. Then the filet, grilled to an impeccable medium rare. I also decided to add the seasonal risotto that I couldn't pass up with scrumptious morels. Finally after a eye Manhattan and local IPA, the chocolate ganache layer cake was a perfect finish. The bartender was friendly and incredibly hospitable! Also enjoyed chatting with some local people next to me, great experience and atmosphere!
