Dinner for 2. One medium; one medium rare. They got it exactly backwards. Not the most expensive steaks, but jesus christ... meh. Kevin you owe me.

Literally the greatest steak house in the world. The location is great, food is the best, atmosphere is like no other. Kevin Rathbun Steak is, quite possibly, my favorite restaurant on planet Earth...and it is in my backyard!

Absolutely a spot worth trying, the food is excellent and fresh, the pricing is reasonable and it is consistently well organized here. 5 stars.

Hard to find something to be critical of at Kevin Rathbun Steak. Service was unobtrusive and yet we never were wanting of anything. My wife's Filet was sublime. Everything else was merely perfection. Seriously nice all around! Wine, appetizer, meal and dessert, and even the coffee was spot on. Have to come back soon to make sure, but this may be my new favorite in Atlanta!

During my visit to Atlanta, Georgia, my husband and I along with our friends visited this steak restaurant. I sampled the lobster fritters, thick cut bacon, short ribs, and egg plant fries. Everyone of these appetizers are Excellent!!

For my entree I had the Chopped Salad and 10 oz Ribeye Steak. My husband and I shared their Traditional Creamed Spinach, and Elbow Mac & Cheese Tart sides. The sides are big enough to share between 2 people. All the food mentioned here are absolutely delicious.

However, I didn't like the dessert I ordered. I wanted to try something different. I ordered the Baked Alaska. I didn't care for the meringue that covered the entire dessert.

My pictures didn't take well due to the very very low lighting in the restaurant.

Great place for a special occasion like an anniversary or fancy date night. Amazing cocktails and food from apps to entrees. Our waiter was super fast and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great too!

Terrible service at the bar. The staff was very rude and the bartender shook my old fashioned.

Food was excellent. Worth the trip. Very busy and closely placed tables. The waiter was not attentive to our needs at all, spent more time at other tables although we spent alot of money, two of us out went to dinner and ordered something from every course.

Consistantly the best steak in Atlanta. One of my favorite places for a great staff and great food. It is pricey but Rathbuns delivers on quality and the sides are amazing.

Good but overpriced. Everything was way too salty! They put way too much seasoning on my ribeye and my date's filet. Sauteed garlic spinach tasted like salty ocean water. Raw oysters were fantastic! Cocktails from the bar were great. Service was on point. Overall a great experience, but way too pricey for the food quality.

Hostesses met me and my wife with a smile. Waitress was professional and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Dinner was awesome as ribeye with oscar was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended and will return.

One of my absolute fav steakhouses in ATL. This place is awesome. Love this place. We went here with a group of friends for a couples night out and just fell in love with this place. The steaks are amazing and the prices are fair. The sides are fantastic. Loved the charred cream corn. The drinks are very good and the service is fantastic. Trust me it s overrated! Yes, they have a great quality steak, however you cannot enjoy it unless you love a char all over your steak. I mean a burnt bitter char. We tried to enjoy the steak, but only once we cut the char away could we savor the flavor. The spinach was good, but over salted. We enjoyed the mac and cheese and cheesecake. The ambience was excellent and service was terrific! I would only recommend this restaurant if like char all over your steak. Sides are hit and miss.

Delicious food with amazing service. It's a place we can only go for very special occasions, and they always exceed our expectations. And they always go the extra mile to make it memorable.

Solid steak house, not my favorite in Atlanta BUT the drinks are good and the service was excellent, if you visit steakhouses START HERE.

The steak was one of the best I've had in a long long time. Service was great too. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. Like way ahead of time.

In my opinion, this is one of the most over rated places in Atlanta. My steak was good but pretty much everything else was mediocre, including my wife's steak (a grisly filet), and the service was terrible. The lobster tail was slimy, underdone, and broccoli was overcooked. Of course, these are 1st world problems but for these prices I expect top tier food and service. Disappointing.

Excellent service and food. Loved the atmosphere. Old warehouse renovated into a breath of fresh air for Atlanta! Reservations recommended. $$$$

I d love to give this place a better review but I just didn t like it. I only rated it two stars because a server was patient with us and took our picture once our dinner was over.

The seating was entirely too close. There was absolutely no room for walking. I ordered salmon which came with rice, Mac n cheese, and creamed spinach. The rice was my favorite out of all the dishes. I mean I really believe I ve had better salmon at Ruby Tuesday s. Then when I told the waiter that I didn t like the Mac n cheese he told me that someone else in my party did. There are just certain dishes you don t mess with like Mac n cheese so all in all I wouldn t recommend this restaurant but shoutout to the server for taking our pics!

I would go again. Our bartender/waitress Amber was really nice very personable. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance lighting is dim everything you look for in an upscale place. Now, the most important part the food! I love steak houses so I've been to quite a few and I usually look for the upscale ones to get a nice steak. KEVIN RATHBUN did not disappoint on that. Very good well seasoned NY STRIP 16OZ STEAK I ordered the OSCAR topping (crab) just amazing. Their jalapeno cream corn was surprisingly very GOOD! It wasn't spicy at all but great flavor throughout. Speaking of flavor you have to try the bacon appetizer(in the picture)!!!The mashed potatoes however were disappointing they taste like they come from mix or a box and the creamed spinach was a bit on the salty side. They did not have Crown apple (my favorite) but Amber suggested regular crown with some apple pucker. It wasn't the same but it was close and I appreciate her trying.

Second time at Rathbun s. Very cool ambience in a hip part of town. Service was good, appetizers were great and the steak was good. Not a 5-star steak experience but for sure worth a visit for all the other qualities.

I went there for dinner while on a business trip so we had reservations and a special menu. The food was amazing! Probably the best steak I've ever had! Dessert was great as well. Nice atmosphere. Our server was awesome!

The menu is quite small (what is a very good thing) but delicious. The portions are enormous and super tasty. Also there are specials available - just ask for it.

The wine cart is big and with a good selection of different tastes to match Ever meal.

The desserts are just perfect!

You should book a table as it's quite full.

I went with a friend who loves steak. He loved his steak but the rest of the food was ok. Not worth the money he spent. Odd atmosphere...no background music; just people talking. It was full by the time we left so the steak must be good. I don't eat red meat. I had the salmon...not good at all. I wasn't impressed at all.

Great food and service again!...we wanted to go back for a birthday celebration......and was not disappointed.......the mussels were delicious..as were the carpaccio....bread steaks and yes desert.......!

Great place, great service. A bit on the expensive side but worth that special night out!

Unbelievable setting. Fantastic food. And attentive service! This was the first restaurant I have been to in Atlanta, and none other has come close as far as the overall experience! 10/10!

Wow! I can't say enough about the service. We had a business event we attended and yet it was excellent. That company has my attention. If you get this right which speaks out of bounds of what they can or will get right. The servers where the best.

You get what you pay for and this is worth every penny. Amazing service, delicious steaks, awesome desserts. I highly recommend the truffle butter as an accompaniment to your steak. Also try the smores baked Alaska. So good.

Given the price of the meal, it wasn't as good as my last meal there a few years ago. The steak was a little too salty and vegetables weren't anything special.

The saltiness of the steak is amazing and the bread was ok. I wish they just had plain bread and butter but my experience with the steak was a true marriage.. lol Great environment and great Birthday dinner.

Fantastic. The off menu special spinalis ribeye cap was possibly the best steak I have ever had. Will return when in the ATL area.

I have been here a few times and everything I have tried has been excellent. It seems they can do no wrong. Service is attentive and knowledge without being intrusive. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a lively buzz. Would recommend to anyone. Do yourself a favor and order the fois gras butter with your steak. Amazing.

Consistently a perfect steak. Very helpful and friendly wait staff. The lamb is always tender in case steak isn't your thing. My wife and I enjoy going to Rathbuns for special occasions... Or whenever we need a nice dinner out :).

I have been fortunate to have visited Steak on several occasions now and the reason why I went there tonight on my 40th Birthday is because it's my favorite steakhouse in Atlanta. From the service, to the apps, to the sides and of course the filets, make no mistake or hesitation, this place delivers in the BEST way! My wife and I travel all over the country and have been to some great restaurants and I always compare them to KRS when discussing great food. If you are looking for a great dining experience, I highly recommend getting a filet at Steak. Enjoy!

This place is absolutely beautiful in a relaxed way! Service is phenomenal and the steaks are the best I've ever had! They are seasoned so well and the prime aged beef melts in your mouth, makes you want to savor each bite. Delicious sides, we each order a different one and share so we can taste them all. My favorite is the jalapeno corn, just writing this makes my mouth water and I want to go again!

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! The filet mignon was out of this world and the truffle Mac and cheese was a table favorite! Everything we ordered was perfect! The waiters were friendly with a great sense of humor. They we knowledgeable about everything on the menu and had great reccomendations for everything! As far as dessert goes I would highly recommend the chocolate creme brulee, it was light and a perfect way to end the meal!
