We've been dealing with Kens for nearly 30 years with everything from home theatre, car audio to high end home audio. I brought my new car in and Austin helped me select the perfect stereo upgrades. When it came time for the installation, I expected perfection and was not disappointed. Kenny kept me updated on the progress and answered all my questions. Flawless install and and a great sounding car. They even replaced a fastener that the dealer forgot to install!! Highly recommended!!

They have a great store full of high quality audio components. Their technicians are quick on the installation. The sales representatives are highly knowledgable on everything that they sale. I would highly recommend Ken's Audio to anyone.
I'd give them zero stars if I could. I came in there with my suburban wanting to get some new speakers put in the front of it. I walk in and I feel invisible. I stand by the speakers for 10 minutes and there's no one out on the showroom floor. I finally have to go ask for help and of course the people at the front desk can't help me so I have to wait 10 more minutes or so for someone in the back to come out and finally help me. They send out what looks like a highschool kid to try and answer some questions and throughout the time he seems like he's trying to leave and get back to whatever he was doing. I finally get a quote of 2300 to put speakers in the kick panels of my truck. The pricing is outrageous. I went down the road to Audio Zoo and their speakers of equal specs came out to be over 700 dollars less to install them and make the kick panels. Needless to say I won't be doing any business with them; their customer service is worse than Walmart and their prices are way too high for the quality.
My audiovisual equipment at my house is perfect. Each system works and looks great. When we have a problem, one phone call fixes it, even if it's Superbowl Sunday. (try that at a big boxstore). They Also set up my home security. With teenagers and this day and age with crime, what a relief to be able to view on iPhone. My parents now even use them, and love it. I used to call my father a "12-oclock flasher", because his VCR blinked 12 for years. Not anymore. He has Apple tv, Netflix on smart TV, etc. Never thought they could make it easy for someone his age.
We went into Ken s on Black Friday met with Michael and discussed everything we would need for our home from cameras to surroundsound. From the moment we walked in it felt like we were their number one customer. Since Black Friday they have been nothing but helpful and responsive to all my questions via text and phone calls. Even so much as the day after Christmas when I pull the wire out of our surroundsound they had someone out that afternoon to fix it. The type of service Ken s provides is top notch. We are so thankful we went with Ken s for our home. The peace of mind knowing they are just a text or phone call away day or night means so much to our family. Thank you Kens!!

My suggestion moving forward is that you all should ask for 25% down or charge a set fee to reserve an appointment for installation services for equipment not purchased from your company and not just charge the customer for the full job up front and then deny a refund in full for something you have not done for the customer. Please make sure you are explaining to the customer that the reservation fee is non-refundable if their appointment is not kept.*******
My son stopped by the Macon location on Monday June 26, 2016 around 2:30 pm. He went to ask if someone was available to take a look at a radio he had attempted to install in his car himself to see if they could give him some ideas of what he had done wrong. The sales person went out to the car to look at the radio and explained to my son that he could install it for him for $118. My son was advise it would only take about 30 minutes to complete the installation so the representative asked him to step back in pay for the installation. Once my son had swiped his debit card to pay for the installation thinking that they were available to do it the same day the sales representative proceeds to advise him after payment that he needed to schedule the installation for a later date. My son went ahead and schedule the appointment but after returning to the Metro Atlanta area where he resides he was able to resolve the issue with the radio himself. When he calls back to the store about 3 hours later to advise them that he no longer need their assistance with the installation of the radio ( which was not purchase from them) they proceed to advise him that they have a no refund policy and can only offer him a store credit for his $126 he paid for them to install a radio that they are not even installing. I understand a business have policies but it is absolutely absurd for someone to pay you in advance for a service that you did not perform and then refuse to give the customer there money back. We used Kens Audio to put up all our TVs in our brand new home after hearing from a friend how great they are. Their staff was very professional and friendly. We were so happy with their work we had them come back to put in sonos speakers throughout the house and just recently had them come back a third time to install many security cameras around our home. They take time to teach you how to work whatever they install and if you have any questions, no matter what day or time, they are there to help! We are very happy with the service we have received from Kens Audio and have recommended them to many family and friends. They are very hard workers and don t stop until it s exactly what you want!

I'm returning customer i used to have Acura TL And had radio Installed in this store and everything perfectly working fine after they installed the radio. However i have another vehicle Tacoma 04 just recently installed Radio and RIGHT AFTER THAT my keyless entry doesn't work then i tried the other remote i had at home still doesn't work so i called Ken's uncle Harry said (nicely)nothing to do with radio installations so i stop by to the store on saturday (5.25.19)the younger man (sounds rude) said the same thing nothing to do with radio being install. so i make appointment on Tuesday (5.28.19) They said They've checked everything and they said battery looks low batt so i went to Battery plus on tom hill sr blvd have them inspect the battery and the battery is in perfect condition. To be honest I'm not happy writing this review but that's what really happened.i still hope we can resolve this problem or Hopefully this never happened to anyone else.
Fantastic experience! I told me salesman Gary what I wanted and he was very knowledgeable and was able to lead me in the right direction by what I told him. I never felt pressured to buy and never felt rushed. I ended up getting a great stereo With Apple CarPlay and a new amplifier. Both of the receptionists at the front where very polite and helpful as well. I m very excited and I will be back for more.
During our recent major home renovation I consulted with Mike Jones multiple times to confirm models, speaker designs, placement, electronics, flexible options and many other details too numerous to list. Throughout the entire process of consulting, planning, installation and instruction the entire team at KEN s has been INCREDIBLE! As long as we are on this planet you will experience some wrinkles but their responses have always been excellent! They were also patient as I (gradually!) increased my abilities to integrate all of my new electronics and master my proficiency in operating them! Not only have we enjoyed them thoroughly, every guest in our home has said WOW! Picture quality, sound quality and features of our equipment and design were customized to fit our objectives and they exceeded our expectation. I compared the pricing for every item and always found them to be the least expensive or level with other retail and internet options. After comparing the service, repair capabilities (with loaners if ever needed!) extended service agreement options and the relationships that come with them, it was a slam dunk to go with them 100%. Many folks hang out a CHRISTian shingle for marketing purposes but the heart of Mike Jones is sincere and transparent. I visited the Macon location of Ken s and received phenomenal service. I was helped by Austin who listened to exactly what I wanted so that he could make the perfect recommendation for new speakers and a sub in my car. He was polite, attentive, and extremely professional. My sound system was installed 2 days after my purchase and since I purchased the system from them they installed it for free. I will be a lifetime customer and I can t wait to get a new system for our next car. The installation was completed in a timely manor and I was given an update on completion. I had an amazing experience and will recommend Ken s to everyone. If you re not sure what you want or where to go I highly recommend Ken s.
I have been using kens for many years. The product is always good, but the service has really gone downhill. After having an appointment at 9am, I am still waiting on my car in the parking lot at 8pm. They called and said it would be ready in 15 min and that was at 6:45. Why even make appointments, because obviously they do not go by them.
Had a fantastic experience here! To start with I won speakers in a silent auction sponsored by Kens and got speakers worth 120 for about half that! I was given no papers or anything but was told free installation was included which they honored 6 months later without a hassle and I should have called ahead but I didn t. They still got my speakers installed 0 hassle in less than 45 minutes even with several other customers ahead of me. I highly recommend Kens the service was A+
We are having issues with a couple of car radios so I contacted Ken s Stereo in Macon. It has become a rare occasion that you find either someone knowledge or someone who is professional and concerned with a customer s issue and surely you never get both. Gary Kimbler who I have spoken to by this one phone conversation is someone I recommend that anyone looking to spend their money and do business. Although he couldn t accommodate the complexities of the two vehicles involved he provides information that is needed to make a sound choice from this point. You may save a few bucks or even a few hundred but before you do you want to contact Gary Kimbler at the Ken s in Macon.
I got exactly what I needed and for a great price! More importantly they got me in and out in no time at all. They are definitely, without question a 5 star quality business. I highly recommend them!
Great place and even better customer service. I came in today to get my audio system adjusted in my vehicle and it was taken care of good to go within 20 mins! I enjoy doing business with them!
It's nice that they install the radio and they do good at that however... My girlfriend went to kens and the radio was 349. I've found the same radio for 199-289... None the same price which is fine however they made excuses on what was included in installation saying there was discounts on the installation pieces of over $70 differences.. If you're going to lie to cover your over priced equipment, you may want to rethink your prices or you may end up reported to the better business bureau. But price is only issue there I'd have to say. Good installation however not worth the price. Well the total was almost $500 and no real proof of the price discount on the installation pieces. It's a 03 focus not a Maserati harnesses aren't selling for like $100 and you magically going to give the harness for $25.
Amazing experience with Kens! Kirk came and installed this huge 65 inch Sony TV (my husband insisted on something this large). Regardless, I normally don't reviews but I was so happy with this service. My husband who is clearly blind, was unable to be here when the initial installation occurred, therefore it was very important that Kirk knew where the TV was supposed to go and all that entails. We rent so our land lord does not allow cords in the walls so Kirk offered to not only apply the conduit but also paint it! I can't wait to have our annual Christmas party at our new house especially since our new TV looks so amazing!!!!
Great Courteous and very respectful I had them do two jobs for me . One was a dueling piano bar in Macon Georgia they came right in and installed a speaker on the inside and on the outside and a short notice. We felt very comfortable with leaving them there by there self .Secondly they did my home did an immaculate job even cleaned up the cable guys Mess I would recommend them to anyone that needs anything done home audio home stereo or home video.Arm for all your commercial needs they can take care of you. My experience with Ken's has been wonderful. We started using Ken's 11 years ago and have never gone to another store for any TV or stereo equipment. The employees are great and the service is outstanding! I had an issue on Sunday with my TV while watching the Falcons game. I had one of the service managers cell number. I texted him my issue and within 4 mins the problem was solved. I was blown away that he even responded. I always recommend Ken's when I know someone is looking for quality products, problem free installation and excellent customer service!
We had an opportunity to meet Jarvis & Chad the salesmen s that installed 3 of our new TVs & Surround Sounds. They did an awesome job with the installation and even a great clean up afterwards!! Our family would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service!!
They are absolutely the nicest and most knowledgable people around when it comes to electronics! I have had tv's delivered and set up for me numerous times and plenty of car audio systems! They also just did some NEW oracle lights for my brother! They install for free, which no one else does and there prices are right! They matched a radio price for me that I saw at another electronic store with no issue and then installed it for free! Always buy local because it's what helps our economy! They are amazing people and love the LORD! Would not shop anywhere else period!
Got home Fri night TV wasn't working 75"smart TV sent text message to Kenny Jones and within 5 minutes tech calls me and problems solved. Can't get that anywhere else Wal-Mart Sam's Bestbuy .Kens stereo gets all my business. They are the best .Even Harry
This company is unprofessional and a rip off. I install satellite TV and happen to witness a TV hang instalation that was done through them. They charged 390 to the customer for a tilt mount setup and didn't even use a mount that tilted. They broke the customers power outlet and kicked the breakerror. They put the tv on one wall then moved it to another wall and left several holes on the previous wall with wires hanging out. They broke the customers surge protector that was there and only replaced it after I complained to the manager. They also fried my reciever that I installed for TV service so I had to replace that. Just all around nightmare of a company and would give zero stars if possible. If your wanting something done call your TV providers or another business or the same might happen to you

I had the privilege meeting Kurt Kozee. He is so respectful, kind and funny. I enjoyed him so much forgot to tell him about my sound bar but he remembered before he left. He is also a great salesman I will be purchasing another surround sound system from Kens just because of Kurt services.

I arrived right at the end of the day, rushing in from work to see the Alpine truck display. Totally worth the rush to get there and the few minutes I got to spend. I learnt a ton about new car audio technology, got a great demo of their newest toys, and then the Ken's staff stuck around to answer my questions and give me a ballpark idea of what different system configurations should cost. Overall a good experience, and I would be happy to give them a try when it's time to get an upgrade to replace my worm out speakers! (Soon!)

Made an appointment on wed Feb 26 for sat March 1 and took my car at 9am only to call Kens at 10:45 to check the status and find out they didn't make an opening for me. They kept my car all day and still didn't fit it in. So the earliest they could get me back in was Friday March 7. Took my car back again at 9am for them to have to keep it overnight. This was simple reinstall people. They called to tell they found a problem and were trying to diagnose it and they did, I had 2 bad rca so they say. I go pick my car up sat morning at 1030. Finally! Very unprofessional service at the front desk. I walked back to the installation area and my car was the only one in the bay with a Tech sitting on a bench watching a movie on his Ipad. I will never give them anymore of my TIME or MONEY! Disappointed beyond words.......

I m rating two stars only because I ve never visited them and received bad customer service, however, if it wasn t for that I d only rate them 1 star. I have purchased two audio systems from them, my first costing a little under $800, the second one was nearly $1,700.00, and the problem is with my second purchase. When I bought my second audio system it went out the very same day, it was no fault of mine, one of the installers said that it was due to a wire shortage,, well,, I ve had to take my car there over 5 times since it was installed last August, I originally started out with 12 s and they down graded me to 10 s my last visit a few months back, I wasn t to happy about it but it was explained to me that the 10 s had a better put out than the 12 s and I admit it did, however, My system keeps going out, it seems it only lasts for a few months or so and It goes out again, which it has done so now, they always fix it whenever I take it back, I don t know what seems to be the problem since I m not adjusting anything, I don t bother my bass button or my volume knob, my volume is actually adjusted automatically whenever I crank up which just so happens to be around the same level they set it at, even though I feel , for the price I paid I should be able to adjust the volume as high as I d like, still, I don t. At this point I feel I m stuck with this problem now because I ve had to return it so much for the same reasons,, since August, I would probably say I ve gotten maybe three good months of audio play with my system and that s not consecutive, that s combined,, I m very disappointed because I ve always bragged about how good the service is to others but from this experience I definitely don t believe that I would purchase another audio system from Kens.

Bad experience I place a poor rating on Facebook and the manager call me and was very sympathetic to what happened then the next day got on Facebook like I did something wrong and this is what happened Now I spoke to you on yesterday and you were very informative and sympathetic to what happened but to get on here today with the smarts. Let's just tell the truth what happened I purchase a rear view mirror with back up camera on Wednesday installation was Saturday I came in at 11am and at 4:45pm u notified me that u could not install it in my particular vehicle. I asked for a refund and purchase this on my debit card which my bank Wellsfargo had place a block on until they sent me a new card. I ask for the refund to either go on my other bank card or cash refund since it was debit . you informed me I would have to wait until Tuesday before you could write me a check because you had to make sure transaction cleared. I told you I could show you it cleared on Wednesday because it was a debit transaction you stated it takes a couple days to show up on your end. OK I state I will return Tuesday for my refund. On Tuesday at 9am you call me and stated you refunded me back on my debit card that has the block and I have to wait 2 business days to get my refund taking I have already waited 3 days so I now I have to wait a total of 5 days when you could have kept your word and issued me a checked on Tuesday once you verified payment had went thru. That is why I am unsatisfied and I think everyone else would understand why I was upset.

Awesome friendly service and a big selection. Wanted to add a sub to my vehicle and what the offered didn't fit so they gave me a loaner sub while we wait for the a direct fit one to come in stock. Excellent service
Place is decent, I have had my stereo and subs installed from there at an okay price. Some wires are still somewhat visible throughout the car and the fuse was not mounted to anything on the engine (just little things that would have got them five stars) Also, I believe I was charged extra for a bass knob that came with my amplifier (GM-D8601). I was also charged for a car adapter that my factory head unit required but for some reason after they installed my pioneer head unit I realized I never got it back since they shouldn t need an adapter for a pioneer head unit. Overall the experience here was good but I am unsure if I will be returning.
The staff is extremely knowledgeable about their product and very personable. They installed the sound system at Tubman Museum and the installation went flawless and did not disrupt the customers during their visit. When I need any sound or audio and video equipment installed. I always call Ken's. I highly recommend this company to others. Thank you for awesome service
In my humble opinion you will not find a better bunch of folks in the business! I've been doing business with Ken's at the Macon location for years and I could not be happier with the products I've purchased or the service I have received. The way the fine folks at Ken's have treated me over the years is second to none! All I have to do is tell the folks at Ken's what I expect from the system I want to buy and they make it happen. If you can dream it these folks can build it! The folks at Ken's are the best in my book!
I walked in to Kens the other day and it was busy but within seconds I had multiple employees asking how they could help me. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and did a first class job. The front desk was amazing and Maddie is awesome. Over the years I have had great experiences with kens and this time was even better. They went over and above to exceed my expectations.
I have done business with Mike Jones for years now and the service provided by Mike and the rest of the staff has always been exceptional. They wired my house inside and out for sound and I am always excited to show my friends my sound system and then expose them to incredible sound.
I called before I posted this and they told me they don't mess with anything that is factory. My daughter spent over $300 to get a CD player that was only $100 because apparently they can't use the antena that comes with your car and they add all kind of additional fees. But that's not the end of it. One of the speakers no longer works and they told us they can't connect it to the new CD player because its a factory thing. Her airbag has an error code now and they told me there is nothing they can do because its a factory thing. We also discovered her back up sensors do not work and once again we get told its a factory thing they can't fix. So the $100 CD player my daughter bought is costing us about $600. This is not acceptable and I am not happy at all. And yes we contacted them first before getting told they can't fix any of the problems my daughter's car is having. And no these were not messed up before we took her car to get a new CD player. Oh and they left all 6 of her cds in her old CD player and we have no way of getting them out.
So a few weeks ago I went to audio zoo to get a system in my sons 2013 BMW and I thought they gave me a fair price and a good job. Hahhahahaha I now know why the call it audio zoo cause it's a joke!!! I got home and nothing was working and wires were everywhere and his door panels weren't right and the dash looked terrible! So he said lets go to ken's I hear they are good!! So we spent more money but we paid less for higher quality products and everything was done to perfection!!! My sone has still not had any problems and ken's fixed everything right like it was meant to be!! Kens is great and are like they say the very best at what they do!!

I've had Kens Audio do all of my home TV and audio work for almost a decade now. Their consultation and install are top notch, but what I always emphasize to others when they consider this type of work is the service AFTER the sell. My outside TV died last weekend (labor day weekend no less) with plans to entertain outdoors the following weekend. With 4 days notice, Mike had a team out at 6pm the night before social event to get me back up and running. Consider this kind of long-term commitment when deciding who to go with. Some benefits you just can't put a $ amount on!
I am an installer for them but that dosent mean anything in how the Jones family treats every single one that walks through that door they will do anything to make your experience the best as it can be and are all strong servers of God which makes it hard not to love all of them. AWESOME FAMILY
Best experience I have ever had dealing with electronics for my vehicle and home needs! The put a full system in my truck for a low price and it sounds very clean and loud!! They have also put headlights and many other things on my truck and I have never had a problem with them!! They are very prompt and always do a clean job ( no wires or anything visible)!! Kens has also done many tv and surround sound systems in my home there are no wires visible and every thing is cleaned up afterwards!! The very best of experts, I would highly recommend them for any job you are looking to get done on your vehicle or in home entertainment!! The are a perfect well oiled crew and family!! I have watched the kens showcase for a long time and they are always having some deal and are always sending a Godly message after every showcase which is just the icing on the cake for me!! I HAVE A 2000 BMW I BROUGHT IN FOR AN AUDIO UPGRADE. IN THE BEGINNING THE RELATIONSHIP WAS FRIENDLY. I BROUGHT MY CAR IN AT 8 AM GOT IT BACK AT ALMOST 8 PM. KEEP IN MIND ON THIS DAY THEY WERE CLOSING AS MY CAR WAS FINISHING SERVICE. IN ADDITION I WAS THERE AT THE TIME THEY TOLD ME MY CAR WOULD BE READY AROUND 6PM......YES I WAS THERE ANOTHER 2+ HOURS. READ TO GET MY CAR AFTER A LONG DAY AT WORK, I TOOK MY CAR HOME. AFTER CHECKING THE DETAILS MY SIDE MIRRORS DIDNT WORK AND MY TRUNK WAS A MESS (NO CLEAN UP....THIS WAS NO CHEAP UPGRADE). I TRIED CALLING THE NUMBER FOR MIKE THAT I SAW ON THE VIDEO PACKAGE WHILE IN THE STORE. 3 DAYS NEVER HEARD FROM HIM. BROUGHT MY CAR BACK FOR THEM TO CHECK THE MIRROR SITUATION (NOT STRESSING ABOUT THE MESS LEFT IN THE TRUNK) THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR ANOTHER 8 HOURS JUST TO TELL ME THAT THE WIRING WAS BAD AND ITS NOT THEIR FAULT. MY RESPONSE WAS EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT BEFORE THE UPGRADE. THEY EXPRESSED AGAIN......#NOTOURFAULT. SAD TO SAY I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I GUESS MY 2000 DOLLARS DID NOT WARRANT FURTHER CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN. I have done business with Kens stereo for over 20 years. I have continued to do business with them for 1 main reason. The customer service. Nothing is ever perfect in business. However, I can say that any time I ve ever had an issue it has been handled promptly, and professionally. Mike, Kenny, and Austin are great to deal with!
