Great experience, try and schedule when there is an actual launch. It's an amazing thing to see
Really cool experience. Clean, friendly, concise presentations. Should have gotten there earlier in the day!
A must see, if you have a full day. There's so much to see. Be warned that there may be a long line for the bus tour out to the SaturnV and launch facilities. However, there is plenty to do right at the visitor center and very high quality!
We visited the KSC on Thu Feb 7 2020. My wife and I had a great time exploring the displays, learning more about (and remembering) the history of mans journey into space. Make sure to take in the Apollo 8 launch. I can also highly recommend purchasing the extra tours offered, to gain more insight and to experience better viewing of the different areas of the KSC that are not included in the general admission price. We will be back to explore more of the centre and take in more of the optional tours on offer.
Very fun and educational and we got to wittnese a real launch of Amos 17 satellite.
Great attraction. Very instructive for adults and children.
I was a little disappointed. Between the failure of all the self-service ticket machines and the 60 minute wait for the tour bus, it seemed woefully understaffed. Additionally, they seem to have moved to a multi-media model as opposed to having substantive displays of actual stuff that dates from the periods that the space center is celebrating.
Very popular attraction. Very educational and inspirational.
A must go place for anyone! Inspires one to get hooked on to space technology, for sure!!
It was an amazing experience, must do for those who are interested in science, space and magic or to those who wanna experience life on Mars and Moon !!! Shuttle space theatre was outstanding and Apollo 11 movies are great too. We did bus tour which lasts for 2 and half hour, it s recommended to have some food and water with you. Bus tour was great.
Even though lots of the exhibits where closed because of the virus my son and I spent a great and educational time at the museum. They gave us another entrance ticket for next year free of charge.
Okay Disneyworld, Universal studios are fine, but don't forget to bring your children a place that talks about history, the future and conveys emotions they will never forget.
Totally surprising for space lovers, beyond the disagreements that one can have the place is unique and completely enjoyed
The bus tour was great, we saw alligators and pigs because we were surrounded by a wildlife refuge. Loved it!
Perfect for a day that you want to go out of the city and know more about the history of Florida and New technology advances! Also the store there is huge!
Love this place. The displays were out of this world. Highly recommend
Awesome experience! Covid 19 put a damper on some of the fun.
Wonderful. Great for adults and children. So proud of the US Space program.
Very interesting. But we seem to have lost a lot that we did not arrive by 9 in the morning. We must come to the opening and immediately go to the Bus Tour to NASA KT, and then calmly watch everything on the territory of the Center.
Interesting, impressive to see rockets and shattles up close.
Best time ever. This trip to kennedy space center was not only fun but very educational. If you go please spent the extra $25 to do the tour. It is very fascinating. Well done trully. Def going back.
Thought I would spend a couple of hours here. Turned into the entire day. The place is well kept and they do a really nice job showing the amazing history. Was able to listen to and meet an astronaut who flew on the shuttles. A fantastic experience. Highlight was seeing the shuttle Atlantis up close. This is one place you will want to stop when visiting Florida
Even in Covid-19 times was a very enjoyable experience. The whole family enjoyed it. For the money and proximity to South Florida can't ask for a nicer place to spend a day trip with the family.
it was very interesting and every one that worked there was very kind
Some attractions are closed due to covid, but the Atlantis experience and I am theater are still open. This is a great place to.visit and just explore what space is like. Would recommend.
Temperature checks at the gate and masks are mandatory. Made me feel safe.
Definitely a must see place, exciting and emotional.
First off, the drive just to reach the space center is amazing. On either side you can see for miles and the territory is so picturesque and iconic it takes your breath away.
We went to KSC in late November and it was wonderful but a little sad. You expect the place to be packed but because of the pandemic the place was empty. That meant no waiting - which is great - but it makes one worry about how long it can continue to stay open.
Anyway, on your visit plan to check out everything! Super educational and super patriotic. They also didn t forget to highlight the Challenger and its crew. Very moving and definitely brought tears to my eyes.
What an education. I was alive for the Gemini, Apollo and space shuttle, but to see it live is amazing. And now the future with SpaceX and MacDonald Douglas
Incredible place. The visit can last all day as there are several attractions and places to visit. Some of these attractions are exciting, such as the video shown before the opening of the room where the shuttle is and the video with the earliest moments of the man's arrival to the moon. It is a mixture of park and museum.
The 50th Anniversary of Apollo is going on now and a must see!
Kennedy Space Center is a great place to visit and learn but unfortunately due Covid 19 most of the attraction and exhibition are not open at this time.
The Disneyland of NASA.
Must do if you're in the neighborhood.
Very interesting and fun, we learn a lot about the American space conquest.
The decorations are beautiful and some attractions very well done with a special mention for takeoff simulator (from the Star Tour Disneyland Paris), even if he deserved to go to landing.
The space shuttle is impressive gigantism!
Only downside: it is in the US and we see nothing other than the US. Certainly they made miracles but they were not alone.
This would be six stars if I could do it. One of the best experiences of my life. It wpuld be seven stars if thwre was a wine option at lunch! You should do this.
We are long time residents of Florida & always wanted to visit the space center. We really enjoyed the displays & videos. The bus tour was a real treat, don't miss it, if you go.
We found everything to be quite expensive from the ticket to any extras, including food & water.
First off I rarely if ever at give a full 5 stars!
KSC was a 10 easily!
The emotions of being transported back to a time when I was a little boy. America was dynamic unstoppable force of knowledge prosperity & heroism! Boundaries were pushed by men from every corner of the world. Challenged by limitations that seem almost commonplace today!
The nationalism, patriotism, and either in good times or bad we could commiserate with one another regardless of our political affiliations.
KSC was for me. One of the greatest exhibits I have ever seen!
My only negative experience was the security team at the entrance. They were very rude! I found it to be a bit unprofessional.
But I still give the exhibit a 5 star!
A must visit place if you are a science / technology enthusiast. The rocket launch experience and all the stories there gives goosebumps, because they seem so impossible but they were all accomplished. Be sure to note the astronaut meet timings and the IMAX timings and do not miss them! There are some options for dining (vegetarians/ vegan option very limited) there but perhaps you would appreciate some granolas and a bottle of water with you. Plan to be there for 4-5 hrs min and be sure to carry your camera!
If you want to feel in the space, this is the place to be. Bring your kids for a great day of knowledge and history.
History is such an incredible thing . The Atlantis expose was incredible!! Shuttle simulation was fun!
$60 +tax per person, really? Come early and spend all day and get your values worth. So much for an affordable afternoon w my son.
Very cool place, I think that it is a must see. The cost of tickets are expensive. Really impressive to see what humankind has accomplished.
Improved a lot from my previous visit. Got to experience various views, insights and experiences. It's always astonishing to see the level of detail and depth NASA has in store for it's visitors. One day is not enough to cover the visitor complex and bus tour.
Very neat place to learn about nasa and what goes on behind the scenes . Have lunch with an astronaut and explore our planets and outer space
Horrible place, half is attractions is closed. Another half has huge lines, food is disgusting, crew are unfriendly. Do not recommend, save your money, the max price for ticket should be $10.
Great place. Clean with great customer service. A must see for the American experience.
It was awesome!!!! If you ever go do the 2 day tour!
The complex was wonderful. Full of information. The only problems are that parking costs money and the lines were really long. Motorcycles were 5 bucks, cars were 10, and oversized vehicles were 15. The lines on the other hand were also not doing well. The lines for main attractions could be as long as an hour. The shuttle launch experience on the map is labelled horribly. It makes you think that you enter from under the boosters but in reality you should actually enter from the back. You go from the side through a gate labelled enter. If you want to go through the line, you will just watch a little informative movie about the designing of the Atlantis space shuttle. Then you will watch a launch (but not experience it) and then exit to see the actual shuttle. Overall still a nice experience.
After watching the history making SpaceX takeoff back in June, we got bitten by the bug and decided to drive to Kennedy Space Center. My family and I had not visited since 2006.
Unfortunately, due to Covid/19 a lot of the stew ruins were closed. Which it s understandable.
We did a lot of shopping and a handful of attractions. The good thing is that, they gave us a free ticket to come beck the flooring year. Hopefully by then more attractions will be Open.
We paid for a three hour walking tour which I recommend as you learn a lot more than doing in your own.
Very disappointed that I was told I would have to pay admission just to go into gift shop to buy a souvenir. No time for full activities. I was willing to pay to get into parking lot but not to pay admission to have the privilege of spending my money in their gift shop. I ll just order online.
I cannot speak to quality of exhibits, they are probably good.
The place is getting a little old. Nothing new. Weather canceled SpaceX launching. The new boys on the block..oh Yes.. next time visit in Early summer.. rocket-on
An hour from Orlando along a toll road (about $4) and on the Atlantic coast of Florida, the KSC is a full day out with enough to interest and entertain everyone from the science nut to those with only a passing interest in the space programme past and present. $20 to park with a short walk to the centre. Bear in mind the site is in the coast, so winds can be cooling compared to Central Florida.
KSC has a main centre and a second that you visit after the 45 minute bus tour to the launch pads that's included in admission. With knowledgeable drivers, this tour shows you the launch sites, both active and historic, along with some of the nature in the area (KSC is a huge nature reserve).
The site the tour takes you to is a tribute to the Apollo programme and features a full Saturn V rocket along with information about all the missions, especially Apollo 8 (the first 20 minutes is a show about this) and a touching tribute to the astronauts lost in Apollo 1.
Back at the main centre, the showpiece is Atlantis, in a fabulous exhibit hall about the shuttle programme and the dedication to deliver this.
With other areas showing current work, plans for Mars exploration and the beautiful rocket garden, this really is a full day out that's worth it.
Confusing walking around the place. And staff may need to be paid more and allow some common sense of crowd control.
A season pass was determined by this experience and we will not be purchasing one.
And NASA Welcome Center employees are needing to take some time for safety. I found a trip hazard and of course I moved this trip hazard.
For those interested in the theme of guaranteed entertainment. Very organized and clean. A good sense of English makes the difference here. It has kids space and great restaurants.
You have to go and visit this place, there's a lot of actractions to see. We want to Cape Caneval Tour which takes 3 h, so then you don't have much time to check all points there
It was just great and very impressive ..... well worth it
Absolutely awesome for anyone interested in space. The shuttle simulator ride is the best in the world!
reinforces knowledge about the history of the American space race
There are several points of the experience that are currently closed to the public, due to Covid-19. However, there are still several things to do/experience, including the space shuttle Atlantis. With all considered, it was still worth the time to visit the complex.
Very pretty place! It is educational and cultural. I recommend you if you do not speak English very well before downloading the official audioguide APP from NASA where you can listen in your language and get more fruit out of your visit.
Good fun! Lots to see and do. Prices on food and drink a little high for the quality you get, but over all what I expected.
$10 for parking AND then admission seems a bit rude.
Limited accessibility due to covid so return ticket for 2021 was given. Bonus.
Wow factor exhibits in minimalist display form.
Lacks detail on a 'did you know' level (stats/tid bits/tech talk/random facts). Some news articles would help (collage wallpaper). Launch shot photo wall would be awesome.
Space boot prints leading to an exhibit in Armstrong's size?
If you've ever been to the Dive Museum in Key Largo you'll see the biggest and most diverse collection of dive gear. All the wall space and ceiling is packed with info.
1. Memorial section takes for granted that you know what happened to the Challenger & Columbia. It's great to see the successes but failures are important learning too. I didn't see any info about what happened and why. Their personal items was a nice touch.
2. Obviously only the American history, but it would be good to have parallel achievements/items from China & Russia for perspective (Space race).
3. Didn't see any news footage or a map of the Atlantis' journey to Canaveral (removing trees along the route was an interesting tid bit)
4. Not sure what the dates were in the hall of fame (when they made it in?) but would've been good to see DOB, birthplace, years in program & rank under their names.
5. Path to pilot - What it takes to be an astronaut. Was that a thing? I didn't see it. Physical testing and top test ratings etc?
6. Ladies section would be a great career drive... From the original number crunchers to those in technical roles & of course astronauts.
That was a great experience and I do believe every School Kids have to visit Kennedy space center.
Awesome!! Mike and I witnessed the latest falcon 9 starlink launch at the kennedy space center!! Perfect day!
Great history of space exploration, many exhibits along with full sized rockets and space shuttle, various IMax videos. It takes more than the 6 hours the facility was
open.
Worth every penny invested. With just one day it becomes quite complicated to do all the activities, which are many and varied. I will definitely return another time.
They are okay with security yelling at my two year old son who I just found out has autism. Don't yell at my son ma'am I'm his mother you come yell at me. I told the security lady this and she had nothing to say, I was in overprotective mama bear mode and I just kept telling at her and then she tried to hide but I knew where she was. She told my father in law that she was apologizing over the phone I told him to put me on speaker and he did and I told her I don't want her apology and I don't believe in her apology cause of she was really that sorry she would've apologized when I walked near her to grab my stroller so I could leave the museum. But I emailed corporate and they basically told me oh well. So idk if I will be coming back.
A place without equal, although the virtual spectacle is not what one expects, it was good
Excellent theme park, different from the others. It allows kids and adults to connect with science and experience how great the NASA world is
I just loved it! This is one of the best things I've ever seen!
The Kennedy Space Center is a fantastic visitors center for kids and adults a like. Very Disney level in its theming, attractions, and experiences and very educational. I definitely recommend visiting especially if you are interested in space or the new commerical space programs.
Very good to know better the space program. Exciting to see closely shuttle
