About 50 minutes by car from Orlando city, NASA launch base theme park. A bus tour running through the park is recommended, and I was able to see the Apollo 13 and the real Space Shuttle Atlantis on display, as well as the SpaceX launch base. I went there in half a day, but I think it would have been better to go around in a day.

So I brought my kiddos for some educational learning and was hoping to "WOW" them and we were all more so like "eh".
It was super expensive; $286 for 5 of us and was more or less individual buildings with movie theatres showing documentaries that we could see on Netflix etc.
It was neat to see a replica of the space shuttle but I guess I was expecting a more hands on experience. They do offer upgrades but for $$$$$$. I do understand that it takes a lot to keep the program going so I really am fine with what we spent but unless your kids are super crazy about space you will be spending a lot for a little.
I did enjoy the gift shop.

Nice visit even though the bus tours are off limits. Not crowded and staff was super nice and took great interest in my six year old nephew. Excited to use our "go back in 2021" tickets to see the launch site

Excellent experience but many areas closed due to COVID and low visitor numbers. However the caliber of presentation of the entertainment was Excellent! The Space Shuttle Launch Experience was wonderful and equal to or better than Universal Studios rides. One restaurant open, no bus tours of the remote NASA facilities. Easy access to all the open displays, not crowded. Our family of four spent a casual six hours here and enjoyed it all. Need tickets online ahead of time due to restricted admissions.

It was an amazing place. My first time there and I've lived in Florida all my life. I was there on a field trip. I will definitely go back with my other children. There wasn't enough time to see everything. There's so much history there. I highly recommend going!!

What can I say. If someone cubes the theme of the cosmos and everything that comes with it - they must visit this place.
You can spend the whole day here and wanting to see all the attractions, you need 2 days.
Attractions included in the price of the main ticket are one day of sightseeing counting that I want to see and experience everything. You can also make up in 5-6 hours by giving up different things.
For an additional fee you can experience and see bonus items.
Free wifi, bars, shops.
I highly recommend.

The base material is unrivaled (space, anyone?), but the realization left a lot to be desired. The management should go take a two week class at Disney world, one hour from here, on line management and general organization. Most of the services are severly undersized for the season...

Very good, very informative and not boring. No eternal waiting times
Cool bus tour in between still possible over the entire area. In the halls it is with air conditioning but for people who are not used very cold even if it is naturally very hot outside.
All in all very cool and varied

Visited with the hopes of seeing the SpaceX abort launch on Saturday (which was rescheduled to Sunday) but still enjoyed my first visit to the space center as an adult. The Atlantis and Saturn V exhibits and the Banana Creek viewing site were my favorite parts of the center, and I recommend the free bus tour that comes with an admission ticket. Food and gift shop choices and prices seemed to be on par with Orlando attractions. Speaking of which, the visitor center does feel a bit too commercialized so I think the best time to visit is when the launches are scheduled, in which case, set aside more than one day in case of launch delays. Science and safety come first before entertainment...

Hands down a must visit while in Florida! Unbelievably good experience, getting to learn the history of the Appollo space program and learn more about the people involved was fascinating. Even when you have seen the pictures, you are not prepared for just how big the rockets actually are once you see them up close.
One of the best parts about a florida holiday, I'd recommend everyone go here at least once!

A different experience, if you are a space geek then this is your place. Limited number of attractions, but each attraction has something special about it. The Atlantis and the Imax were the best out of all. Limited attractions & dinning options is the reason for 4 star instead of 5. Worth a visit if you have extra time while visiting central Florida.

Amazing place with exhibits for all sorts of people, space enthusiast and families. I suggest doing an early space tour for space enthusiast, it takes you into the Cape on the Space Force side, and includes things you will not see anywhere else on the cape. Everything you do here requires you to come early to avoid long lines, but if you know what you want to do, and get here early, then you can enjoy a really fun day out at the Cape.

The experience was unique, even though I did not understand anything because I do not speak English I had a great time, I enjoyed it as did my family, I hope to repeat the experience when there is a take off

Great scientific evidence of space program in the past and a vision for the future. The earth is a globe shaped planet and not a flat plain as the traumatized flat earthers suggest with no evidence whatsoever to support it.

Total waste of time and money. Everywhere in the world now has signs on where to enter or stand in hopes of preventing chaos except this place. When you choose a time to see a show, you have to enter a small room where everybody else is also waiting and 5 minutes before the show they open the doors to the exhibit and its like black Friday. Everyone starts pushing and running inside as if they are going to miss it. No social distancing or care for the pandemic. At the entrance, they take your purse and take your belongings out of it for security purposes and then shove your stuff back in the bag and hand it to you. Super frustrating. I don't mind going through security but didn't want them to be touching my stuff.

Didn't feel safe at all. We left after 2 hours.

If you are required to check in with Guest Services - get there early. There is always a big line there, especially before the rocket launch. But they are very friendly and helpful. Food logistics is terrible. I loved the Red Rock Grill, where you can place your order in a Command Center and then pick it up at a designated window. Awesome idea, kids and adults are excited to use it. But, you have to wait crazy long to get your hotdog. If you don t mind waiting, you should definitely give it a try! Prepare to spend all day walking. The gift shop is huge. Make sure to look around as there are often astronauts walking around, you might be able to catch them!

Great

Pretty cool place, but there's some things that should be fixed. For one, there aren't any maps anywhere so you are left to just wander around not knowing what anything is, or if you do know what something is you might have trouble finding it. Second, the IMAX film was pretty cool, but there were some issues that really took away from the experience. Throughout the film the speakers emitted a audible buzzing sound that was quite annoying, and the projector lens and filk weren't very clean so you could see spots from dust all over the screen. Overall I would recommend visiting the Center at some time of you are interested, but I personally am not sure that it's really worth the very high price.

Not worth the time or the money. Not only do they charge $50 per person but almost everything is closed at this time. Very little social distancing and only the restaurants seem to be open. There are long lines everywhere in order to get into the 2 exhibits. The old nickel and dime trick for every little thing is also present here. The experience is not worth the money and everyone was dissatisfied.

One of THE most amazing places in Florida. The food options are not great, but in exchange you get to see an actual Saturn V plus so many other rockets. Definitely a must go! For a future visit I would take a coat and some snacks! :)

Very fairly priced, with great exhibits for anyone interested in the past, present, and future of space travel. The Apollo exhibit features an actual Saturn V rocket which is breathtaking, and the Atlantis exhibit is beyond words.

Not pleased experience. Not much real artifact and real stuff. 90% of place is occupied by food stations and gift shops. Many exhibitions are closed with silly excuse "due to Covid". Huge lines. Not a real place for space enthusiasts. Extremely frustrated. Would not recommend visiting this place.

Been many times in the last 30 years and my previou visit was two years ago during the construction of the new tourist facilities and I have to say the actual presentation and depth of history is poorly presented now, Heroes & Legends was done to a poor standard. You can see the complex gets no state aid it's full of poor vending stands (can't call them restaurants the food is so bad) the parking lot has the true Disney rip off a charge!

I can't say enough good things about KSC. More than you'll be able to see in a full day but I certainly try every time. I've taken most of the extra bus tours and it's worth the time and a little extra money. If I lived closer I'd probably try to get a job here!
