Room service salmon dish was the best of my life! Absolutely delicious!! Also, after checking out of the hotel, I realized I was missing a pair of my daughter's shoes and the bell man (who helped with my bags) went back to the room to get them. Great service, highly recommend!

I came to the JW Marriott for a convention but was always treated like in individual. The staff was attentive to my needs and able to answer my questions. The food from the room service and onsite restaurants were great excellent and not your typical room service. I looked over the prices and it is a little pricey for the family but the did offer a special before I left which I thought was very affordable.

Had a great time here with the family. The guest and the employees are the best. Their bars, room service, and even their pools are the best. I recommend that if you are in the Orlando area to stop by.

I went for an event. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The event was well provided for. The lunch, snacks and breakfast they served were fantastic. I didn't get to see any guest rooms but can imagine that would be just as beautiful.

What a beautiful place, grounds that rival any other resort. The pool is very large and beautiful, which matches the surroundings. Once you enter the lobby it seems like you walked into a large casino hotel. Everything in its place and decor to match. So why 2 stars you may be wondering. Enter the room and you feel cramped, isolated and like the rooms do not match the rest of the hotel. The hotel may be a 4 star, but the rooms are lower quality than the best holiday inn or similar. Bathroom locks were broken and fear of getting locked in was there, shower that shoots up at the ceiling and under the door after closed. The water is so hard that we had to lather up after the shower. But that's not all. The air conditioner was blowing warm air and after a call, only a filter was changed. "Give it time", they said. Locks fixed and other issues remained. We went out to a nice dinner to come back to this oven of a room. After a dip in the pool and shower we realized it would never cool down. Now comes the resident engineer at 11:30pm. Someone had turned the cold water that runs thru the a/c off. Problem solved??? No so fast. Remember the room still need to cool down. Finally some asleep by 1am. Did I tell you not only a 35.00 resort fee but also over 20.00 for you to park yourself far away. Back to the room story. Here comes 9am as we had to get up. Not one call asking about or night or issues. Went to the front desk and the manager "graciously" removed all charges. I would have preferred a let's bring you back and show you how we do it. Instead we got a shut up and here is your refund. Really that kind of attitude was portrayed. Second birthday we celebrated at the JW and it will be our last. Whoever gives hotel ratings needs to visit the room and not just the grounds.do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This place is far from 4 stars.

The best hotel in Orlando!!! They definitely go above and beyond and it s amazing. When you walk in you feel like royalty the way they treat you and when you go to the pool it s insanely nice! You feel like you re really on vacation! By far the best pool I ve seen at any Florida hotel so far! My wife and I actually went here on our honey moon and so glad we did. It really sucks how high their prices increased though. If it wasn t so expensive we would always go back but instead had to stay elsewhere because of vacation budget. Definitely recommend and hope they go back down in price at least for a couple times per year. When we went it was about $175-$200 per night. Now we haven t seen anything lower then $225-$325 per night if not higher but we will stay on the lookout. Give this hotel a try especially if you re planning a vacation with hotel down time to relax.

Has a great lazy river, which is worth the stay in itself. Our basic room had a lovely view and a gorgeous bathroom. The lobby is gorgeous. Rooms need a good deep clean though and basic repairs. Would definitely stay again!

The Marriott Grand Lakes is a beautiful hotel. The common areas are stunning and the scent of hibiscus greets you everywhere. There are multiple restaurants all with very good food, even the Sushi in the lobby bar is made fresh to order. A Starbucks and small sundry shop ensure you've got all the comforts of home. The guestrooms are relatively large and beds plush and very comfortable. The HVAC is simple to use and isn't noisy. The grounds are beautiful and pool and lazy river are well maintained. All together it's a great place to stay and a nice experience.

Great hotel with great service. The amenities are wonderful, from tennis to swimming (and a lazy river), golf to eco-tours, kids area and of course shuttle service to the major attractions.
Expect to pay for that kind of quality, for both goods (food) and service.
With the property including 500 acres, expect to see plenty of wildlife on either the kayaking creek tour or the sunrise session.
That being said, you are fairly removed from the local town of Taft and restaurants outside the resort area, but Uber is readily accessible.

Very convenient location, right near the theme parks! The room and beds were super comfy, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet at the Cintron was delicious!!

Great course. Had a great meal at the golf club house. Bathroom/locker room could have used a little attention. It was somewhat messy and I noticed a hardware fixture hanging/broken on the wall.

As a vendor, they've always treated us WONDERFULLY! Judging by the demeanor and OUTSTANDING service by employees and management, the company seems to care about ALL aspects of running business.

The hotel is nice but we were not told about a late night outdoor reception party. There was a LOUD Live Band that was playing well past 10PM. This kept us up and we were expecting a quiet getaway especially on a Sunday and we were on the 10th floor! The front desk reception had no clue about the event. When they asked their crew they said it would be done by 10PM. It was NOT the case and the noise went on till 11PM. Disappointed.

And at 9 AM more LOUD noise from landscaping with their motorized edgers and weed wackers! WTH?

9 AM, Construction and hammering from the floor above us.

So much for a quiet Birthday Getaway...

Maria with room service delivery is super nice. Housekeeping does a great job.

Expensive resort, had a "resort view" but overlooked the city and not the pool or lake area (what i considered the resort view). Beautiful property, lots of fun things to do from billiards to beach volleyball, ping pong & a huge lazy river/swimming pool. NO MICROWAVE unless you have a "dietary restriction". It is a shared property with the Ritz Carlton which means you have access to the amenities aswell.

I live locally and have stayed in several hotels for leisure and business. This is, by far, one of the best I have ever stayed in. The rooms were clean, up-to-date, and well maintained as was the property itself. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. I would put this hotel on par with or better than the Waldorf Astoria and Ritz Carlton. My stays here have always been top notch and impressive. I highly recommend, especially for couples staying in the area. They also have a very competitive military rate for military families.

My stay here was a very pleasant experiance! I'd like to mention a few front desk staff members who made my stay that much more enjoyable. Huge shout out to Kellya, Aaron, Kristine, Ricardo and Kyle. You all truly are amazing people and made my stay one to remember! Great service and amenities. Also, the conference hall and board rooms are stellar!! The lazy pool is very relaxing! Would reccomend to anyone and would love to come again!

Tiny rooms, especially if you have a baby and a crib in the room and a carriage on the top of that it would be challenging to move from one end to another without moving the crib and carriage first to make some room to move.

Beware!! We supposed to get $50 resort credit but they charged us anyway and on the top of that they charged us double resort fee and apparently no one from the customer service has any idea why or what exactly is the fee so we are waiting for them to investigate. Imagine if we did not call we would have had idea that they ripped us off and overcharged us. Terrible service.

The service wasn't that great. I expected much more from a JW Marriott. Had to keep calling front desk in order to reach room service. Not much to do there other than the pool. Wouldn't go back

Wow, we were blown away by how nice this hotel was. We usually stay at a competitor hotel chain, but booked here instead as we wanted to try the Ritz spa. JW and the Ritz Carlton share amentites, and the two hotel's are even connected. It's like double the fun. The pool area is amazing, we can't say enough about how beautiful this property is and how friendly the staff was.
