The name said it all, luxury...nice Italian restaurant inside 5

We arrived at the hotel after 1pm. Not many restaurants were open. We had drinks and snacks at the The Kitchen. Service and food was great.

The place is so nice. The pool, lazy river is awesome. Great time with family and friends.

A Wonderful Staff with smiles on their faces. Customer care is GREAT, they go far beyond 100% in assistance.

The hotel is quality along with the service staff that I interacted with during my stay. For those looking at a company conference location this is highly recommended. I did run across one challenge during my stay and the team has so far exceeded my expectations in managing.

Although pricy this hotel has a very nice setup. I stayed on the 22nd floor and many rooms have a phenomenal view of Orlando. There are plenty of great places to eat at the hotel and the pool and lazy river are amazing. Finally for events, attractions, and parks the hotel makes booking an transportation a breeze.

My wife took me here for our anniversary. It is a huge resort hotel. I was greeted with a couple good samples at check in. They have a tiki bar outside with great frozen drinks. The lazy river is awesome. It gets crowded as it gets later in the day. If you get up earlier it is easier to navigate. When its crowded you have to pay more attention to where you go. I go to a lot of marriotts this one is really nice and has a grand entrance way

It's just so amazing. The hotel, pool, breakfast and all the activities around. Definitely completely recommendable!!!!

Stayed there for two nights the rooms are impeccable and the pool area is just amazing as well as the bar and food areas breakfast buffet is a little pricey but very good

Getting 23 people together for a family Thanksgiving is never easy. There were a few snags, but overall the experience was excellent. Shout outs to Annalise at the front desk for always taking time to say hello to our 3 nine year olds, to Travis in Expedia Concierge for getting a ton of different passes over the course of a week done with no hassle. And to Seth, our server at The kitchen for dealing with our very rowdy family. The rest of the staff was equally wonderful, especially kids club staff, they definitely had their hands full! Great relaxing stay.

Clean and quiet place. Frendly staff and location is perfect for Central Florida.

View is great.. Prices are resort pricing so don't come without money in ur pocket.. Great customer service, great view since there aren't any beaches around the area, n great activities if you plan right

stayed here with my parents and older brother and sister several times , all 5 times were absolutely amazing ! The breakfast is simply amazing ( best hashbrowns ever ) , the lobby restaurant is amazing as well . While we stayed here we went to SeaWorld everyday making our trip to Orlando the best trips ever . Out of all the hotels we ve been to , the JW Marriott @ Grande Lakes is simply the best ever , keep up the good work staff !

The name says it all. You can never go wrong at any JW Marriott. Lazy river is a must.

Worst hotel experience ever. They made my son sleep on a bed with no sheets first night. Tried to overcharge us for the room And incidentals (was told 3 very different prices for that). Our sheets were stained and dirty upon arrival in a room that only half the lights worked and the fridge didn t seem to even be on. Housekeeping never cleaned our room in our 6 day stay, not even removing trash. Management is rude and for all the hassle only offered excuses and lies (when caught in a lie they would hide and refuse to talk to you). All we wanted was for a simple apology for all the problems, instead we checked out and they proceed to overcharge us by $350 the next day. In regards to the manager below, we have contacted you, and though we straightened out the charges you went back on your word (said for all the troubles we wouldn t be charges for parking, yet we were still charged) Seems to be a lack of communication between managers and a habit of hiding and making excuses instead of just taking responsibility and apologizing. Surprisingly an apology goes a long way. But if you say you are going to do something, then do it.

Love the lazy river ! We had a great weekend at the JW ! Very friendly ! Great view , not far from universal or sea world and even Disney is not that far!

Very disappointed in our first 3 hours here. Let's see, where do I start:

1. Pool restaurant staff is severely understaffed. We put our flag up and 45 minutes later, no service. Proceeded to go to bar for drinks and waited 20 minutes for someone to take my order.

2. Check in, get keys to room and they don't work....twice. Finally get into room.

3. Order room service and guaranteed to have it in 30 minutes or less, I sit here at 40 minutes with no food

Extremely disappointed. I stayed at the JW Marriott in Chicago 2 weeks ago and had awesome service and awesome experience on my son's 10 year old trip. Staff, service and facility were outstanding. Maybe the GM for JW Marriott could go spend some time in Chicago and learn how to run a high end hotel.

The rooms were hard to get into, but the building was beautiful and the prices were very reasonable.

Prefer the bar here over the Ritz Carlton next door.

Beautiful room's, amazing pool with waterfalls and lazy river, and fantastic fitness center and spa. Food is expensive but delicious.

I attended a professional networking event at the JW and I have to say ideas impressed by the atmosphere and staff. I will be back.

We stayed on the Ritz-Carlton side of the resort, but you have access to both hotels for a very grand resort experience. It was amazing! The resort is huge and incredible! We liked the pool at the Ritz a little better just because it was less busy and quieter. But the JW has a lazy river which was a lot of fun. The JW is definitely more geared towards families with kids, there is plenty to do without having to leave the grounds. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful resort inside and outside. Massive pool area with plenty of poolside seating. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Starbucks in hotel.

Joined friends who were staying here for a few days. The room was lovely, the grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the lazy river, the hot tubs, the Quench Bar all afternoon. Later, we enjoyed a great dinner at Primo.

Recently we decided to take a small Labor Day vacation at JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes. Unfortunately hurricane Dorian decided to threaten the state of Florida. They were extremely accommodating for all of the guests. Specifically a young man named Keegan. He was able to extend our stay to wait out the storm as well as finding additional rooms at a very reasonable price for my parents who were fleeing the coast. Marriott and the local staff went above and beyond accommodating guests who had pets and were extremely flexible with certain fees. Thanks for making a harrowing hurricane experience much more tolerable.

Unforgettable!!!!! In the last few years I have taken the opportunity to discover new hotel options in Orlando.
And I highly recommend the JW Marriot, the entrance is exceptional and cozy.
The restaurants and options for quick snacks are excellent.
The leisure area, with the pool and stream to stay in the float and relax ... I was impressed with people sometimes at ten at night by the pool.
It leaves something to be desired as to the hotel I stayed at last Four Seasons.
The only thing that needs more attention would be the housekeeping part of the rooms.
Because if you are occupying the room at the time they pass, they hardly return even asking.

I didn't stay here. I was here just to use FedEx. The place is beautiful though. I would love to stay here!!

The hotel is very nice, the pools and grounds are great, and the staff is very attentive and courteous. I did not golf, but the course looked like it was in great shape. The 65 inch 4K LG television in the room contacted to Netflix is a very nice touch. However, when you stay there you may want to contact the hotel ahead of time if you want to eat at one of the restaurants on the grounds. There are only two real restaurants (Primo and Kitchen) on the JW side, and both were closed for dinner for private parties. Then the Highball restaurants on the Ritz side had no open tables Friday or Saturday night. That was quite disappointing.

Love this hotel. The staff is great and the grounds are breathtaking. Tried Citron for breakfast and sushi in the lobby. I highly recommend both. Lakeview rooms are worth the upgrade.

I come here once a year and always have a great time.

Hotel is what you'd expect from a Marriott (which is good) but the advertised park shuttles are very limited and only run at a few odd hours. Make sure to check first as they don't advertise the hours as it can really effect your plans.

I stayed here while attending a conference at the hotel. The hotel is wonderful. It is very large. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and has a separate shower and tub. The conference area was very large and was accommodating several conferences at once.

I had zero problems. Walk to/from the car is long, so if someone can't walk that far be sure to drop them at the front entrance. Impeccable service, staff, food, cleanliness, amenities, etc, etc. Great family spot too.
