Very nice facilities, but as with all high end hotels, they nickel and dime you for everything... This Marriott is no different. I stayed off site for less than half the price and drove in each day to attend a conference. I must say that the facilities are top notch, and they did not skimp out on the quantity of items provided during refreshment breaks (limited selection, but lots of each selection), and the food served at meals was quite good! Hard to serve a medium rare steak to 500 people, but they pulled it off.

the resort itself is beautiful, however the staff leaves a lot to be desired Just spent 6 days there. No turn down service for 4 of the 6 days, asked to have our room changed and was told that they would do it for a tip, The valets are rude and asked us for a $20,00 tip. The hotel smelled funky, the pool closes at 9 and you can not sit outside at night around it as they lock the gates. The staff was extremely rude and unaccommodating. The ice machine on our floor did not work the whole time we were there, and room service didi not resupply our room. For the amount of money we spent I expected a better room and much better service. We will not return.

The customer service here was amazing! We had a very odd schedule while we stayed here and room service worked with us every single night to get us food that was not on the late night menu. It really helped make our trip convenient and enjoyable. We also went down to the pool which was so fancy! The food at the poolside grill was really really good. Would lightly recommend the frozen drinks and the french fries! Everything was simply a step above what you would expect. The hot tub is a little small, but the pool is huge and the looping lazy river is really nice for laps or just wadding around in the water.

Always enjoy our stay here. Rcvd a great rate. A day at the pool and lazy river. Had breakfast both days (free with room if you are Titanium Elite). They no longer do the buffet but the food and service (Karima) was excellent. Our room was ok, some of the furniture (desk chair) is worn and in need of replacing. Front desk staff courtesy and helpful. Self-parking is $32 a day which is a little steep IMHO.

The staff is super friendly, especially the in-room dining servers. The food is amazing-- Try their chicken wings with mild sauce!! YUM. The property is BEAUTIFUL, in and outdoors, as well as clean. Housekeeping really shouldn't come any earlier than 11AM, unless they know for certain that the person occupying the room has checked out already. I was still sleeping at 10:30am when they opened my door to come in. I didn't hear them knock because i was still sleeping. I should've put the "Do not disturb" sign on the door handle before going to bed the night before, right? Maybe... but I didn't assume they would be there before 11Am when they came as late as 3pm the day before. On top of that I didn't need another housekeeping service in less than 24 hours. I didn't bother to opt out of the housekeeping because apparently they ignore your request and drop in anyways. One small thing that irks me is that you have to pay $20 per day if you want internet access in your room. I pay that amount per month in my home. Use the free wifi in the lobby because I'm sure I already went through 2 gigs of data during my stay here. Overall I would recommend this JW marriott resort if you're willing to pay the nightly rate. The quality of the experience was top notch despite the housekeeping and internet complaint.

Amazing place breath taking views, amazing room service. The entrance of the hotel is amazing clean and feels like your walking into a beautiful palace. The whole aesthetic of the hotel feels like a castle. Yes it's a bit pricey but 100% worth it. You get what you pay for. The place its self is huge and a ton of space to walk around felt like a resort in my opinion.

Great place, room were decorated nicely. Rooms were clean and cleaned each day. They have a shuttle to many of the attractions. There is a physical center open 24 hours and many different pools. I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this place. Thanks for the read.

Great place! The breakfast was excellent. Both restaurants were top notch (and that's coming from 2 real foodies). I don't think I've ever had better food in a hotel..... Starbucks in the lobby, awesome pool, and the best lazy River hands down! We will be back!

What can I say? It's a JW Marriott! Fine dining. Great service. Lavish rooms. A huge pool WITH a lazy river. Biking, golfing, spa and massage. No matter the location of your room, the views are amazing. We have stayed here a handful of times and have never regretted it. In need of a great conference room? They have plenty of those spaces also. You can even access the Ritz Carlton next door for more options as well.

Top notch. This property (shared amenities with The Ritz), has it all. Close to many Orlando attractions, great restaurants, and a lazy river! It is higher priced than many if the surrounding hotels, but you will be hard pressed to find a better on resort experience.
The eateries feature farm to table selections; many of the items grown on property. They even have their own craft brewery on premises.
This is a good place for families, and has crafts and activities for the little ones. Did I mention the lazy river?

At JW Marriott Orlando, you re never short of exquisite sophistication with farm-to-table dining, unparalleled golf experiences at the next door Ritz Carlton, and perfected elegance akin to the grand palazzos of Italy. But that s not that the only aspects of this JW Marriott that would attract family vacationers- the place offers interesting all day activities for kids and adults.

After exploring the surrounding nature preserve or returning from a grueling day at the parks, you just want to exhale and relax in the pool or just take it easy and sit by the lake.

Located midway between Disney World and Universal Studios, the JW Marriott appeals to families, and its massive lazy river pool is great for kids.

PROS:
1. At the resort, one can receive special amenities that only the luxury escape provides.
2. The elegantly-appointed Club Level Executive Suites are wonderful.

CONS :
1. Daily resort fee (mandatory)
2. Daily parking fee
3. Room decor is generic
4. Not affiliated with any Disney theme parks.
5. Bar staff and housekeeping could do with some more training.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. I was only there for the afternoon and felt like I'd been on a week long vacation. The staff was attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend a stay there.

A very beautiful and upscale contemporary hotel. Features large, bright rooms for single, double or family occupancy. The on site restaurant is amazing, with new chef selections and specials 7 days of the week. Amenities include a gym and spa, and It's many ball rooms and spacious office-like suites make this a very popular location for business travellers and corporate events. The concierge was so friendly and helpful. An excellent place to stay with your family in Orlando, with daily shuttles to Walt Disney World , Sea World, and other local atttactions.

Attended a conference here. Facilities are very nice, food was pretty good, staff very helpful and friendly. Parking is very expensive though, and because of the property's size you have no other options.

Ricardo Santaella is GREAT! Knowledgeable and hospitable bartender steered me in the direction of an excellent Pinot Noir - I ordered one on a whim - Ricardo inquired if I preferred robust flavors or light - I prefer robust - he proffered a sample of my whim choice and boy, was it anemic. Thanks Ricardo for selling me on the one with more character - it really rounded out my day!

Nice little kids pool area with zero entry and overall lowere water level. Nice lazy river for mid height kids and adults.

Beds were okay but nothing special. Giant TV was unexpected plus. Bathroom was nice and upscale, separate shower and tub - like 6ft across the room from each (read: its spacious) and nice granite vanity space.

Food options in the evening were quited limited, especially for families, most of the handful of resort restaurants were closed by 9.

Although not a perfect visit do to not having our room available upon check in and some minor room issues. The staff was well trained to handle issues the leadership at this hotel does a excellent job hiring only the best from the Valet to Maintenance personnel. Hats off to this hotel they know how to take great care of the guest! Highly recommend this hotel.

Beyond frustrated with this hotel. Came back to a bathroom destroyed due to a leak, people were in my room while my things laid about. Only to be told via a note I had to move. Spent the next 40 min trying to get an answer from anyone. Finally received a call stating someone would be up shortly. Nope, standing in the hallway. Never again.

The service at the hotel was amazing. People were attentive and very welcoming to our family of 4. The food onsite was very good as well. The resort offers many activities that's shared with the neighboring Ritz Carlton. The resort fee includes complementary bike rentals for use around the property, free shuttle to theme parks, and access to the fitness center. If you have young kids, they have a Ritz Kids play/activity center. The only problem was that this required advanced reservation (which no one informed us during check-in). So we couldn't experience this for the kids. I would take a half star off for this but really everything else was perfect. They went over the top to accommodate my wife's allergies and the chef even checked with us after the meals to ensure we were happy.

Our pillows smell horrible and the customer service is almost non existent. We asked for new pillows and 3 hours later they never came. Really not to impressed with the hotel overall. The pool is pretty awesome though but everything else is meh

JW Marriott is one of those Hotels that has it all. If you didn t leave the hotel grounds during your stay it wouldn t be a waste as this beautiful hotel has everything you could want and need. I stayed here with my family and we enjoyed the lazy river everyday, ordered drinks and food from pool bar when we wanted, and truly relaxed. My experience was 10 star. When we arrived i made a mistake with my room and asked if I could be upgraded since I was a Marriott rewards member. The staff went out of there way to get me a room that fit my needs and made my transition smooth with no issues. This hotel is its own world and you will see that from the moment you arrive. I d like to thank the staff for making my vacation wonderful and we plan to return in near future for another stay.

Some pointers I d like to give those who read this review. 1) Keep in mind that this hotel can get extremely busy during certain parts of season. 2) Plan and budget accordingly as it is pricy to stay here but you are paying for a great experience. 3) Be sure to Tip! There are some extremely exceptional employees who literally RUN to get you what you need.

JW Marriott please continue to excel in your customer engagement and setting the standard for luxury service.

Disappointed in this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again. The room was smaller than I expected for a JW Marriott. I've stayed at numerous hotels because I travel alot for work and was expecting something alot nicer. The carpet looked old. In the bathroom near the toilet smelled funny and the light over my bed flickered like a disco light. The only kudos I'd give them is the pool area which was really nice, kept clean with great service.
