Very nice hotel with great amenities. Loved the view, the lazy river and the multiple hotel tubs. The room was spacious with a fridge and had a separate tub and shower in the bathroom. The hotel shows it's age around the edges but overall very clean. The shuttle service sucks and the concierge was rude. I'd stay here again.

Horrible! I am currently staying here and was given terribly insulting and rude treatment by Nancy at the pool side rental store. I will not ever stay on this property again.
While the facility is beautiful you get nickeled & dimed. Resort fees and paying for parking. Also, taxes charged on those resort fees. Really ridiculous when you look at the cost of the rooms. I guess it's the true Magical Experience. Our family won't be staying here again. It's really too bad as we like Marriott hotels.
My stay at the JW Marriott last summer was great until a Marriott Vacation Club representative offered my wife and I gift cards to sit through a sales pitch next door. Mistake on our part. We were fraudulently sold a plan that we were told we could use to stay again at JW Marriott's and Ritz Carltons. You can, but the fine print on limitations and conversion penalties was never explained, making it a very bad financial trap. I am surprised JW allows this practice to go on in their facility and under their banner. I am surprised Marriott would allow practices like this to tarnish their brand.
The rooms are awesome, comfortable, clean, overall excellent. The service is spectacular. The food is really good. The best swiming pool in Florida a huge lazy river with waterfalls. Love the place I recommend it a 100%
I have been to JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes often to attend events and have never had a bad experience. The staff has always been helpful despite me not being a hotel guest. Primo Restaurant in particular has always been respectful, helpful and accommodating.
Went for a work event and everything was awesome! Staff was great but one woman Ana was probably the nicest person I met in a long time She went above and beyond!
Accommodations and amenities were top notch. I was disappointed by the hours and responsiveness for Grande Lakes Sports, their outdoor activities desk. I tried to borrow a mountain bike, which was included in my resort fee, to find rentals stop an hour before the actual close of 5pm. I spoke to someone in the morning and this was not explained, I was only told it was first come, first serve. I arrived at 4:15 due to the time a conference I was attending let me out too much dismay. I wish they had more information posted our were better at responding to call backs. For those people there on business and not pleasure with limited time, it would be helpful. Having the option to skip the resort fee for a business stay would be nice as well.
No free upgrade as a gold member. took more from a credit card then they were supposed to and have made it difficult to receive money back. watch out for overcharging!!
You can stay here and use all of the amenities of the neighboring Ritz Carlton , which in itself is a good deal in my opinion. Staff was attentive and helpful. Parking is a bit steep at $29/$37 respectively but is par the course for hotels in this area.
Just got here early this morning. My room is lovely with a nice view and a little balcony. I had the breakfast buffet at Citron. The biscuits are AMAZING!.... And I know my biscuits! Of course there was sausage gravy because what's a biscuit without it?! So yummy. Great service. Great food.
Stayed here for the first time over 4th of july weekend. Very nice hotel. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Ate at the buffet restaurant down stairs and it was really good much better than I expected for a buffet. The pool was really nice kind of crowded but once the clouds rolled through it cleared out. The parking is kind of messed up if you dont valet. Finding a spot is a pain and a pretty far walk which is annoying after you spent a whole day at a theme park and are done walking. In room dining was great had the pizzas and 2 desserts. All really tasty and very filling. Will look into staying here again for sure.
I have a reservation for my wife's 50th birthday through a third party co. I called Marriott reservations to book reservations with a different date. I explained that I would cancel my third party booking in order to rebook. The reservation representative was very short with me and actually hung up on me while I was yet talking. If this conduct is representative of the hotel, I will have no other choice but to stay elsewhere.
Not Worth the Money. Been to cheaper hotels with better rooms and service.. There was no parking and you had to pay for it' granted I did recieve my money back. I just wasn't overall wowed by this hotel. Very clean.
My wife and I came out for our 11 year anniversary. The entire staff from the front desk to the food runners by the pool have been amazing. The staff hand wrote us an anniversary card and sent us a bottle of champagne to congratulate and welcome us here. We will with it a doubt be visiting again someday.
Very nice resort with clean rooms, amazing lazy-river pool, and excellent service staff. Our second visit and it certainly won't be our last. Always a great time and a relaxing getaway.
Stayed a few nights here with my fiance when i was home on leave. One of the nicest hotels i ve stayed in. We had a great balcony view from the 18th floor. Plus i got a great military discount. Will defently stay again.
We enjoyed the pool and lazy river. Food was pricy but to be expected in this quality of establishment. My biggest complaint was the wildlife. While in the pool, squirrels and birds made off with our food. Service had already stopped and there was nothing to be done about it. Hard to pay that much just to feed the animals.
Very nice hotel with there quality food and there bathrooms plus there is the Orlando downtown area is not far great place for the family a little pricey but worth it.
Beautiful structure with many spaces for conferences and business meetings. Several restaurants available and a nice outdoor area with swimming pools. Some bars are definitely expensive, but easier solutions are also available.
Undergoing construction so very noisy. And the bedding isn't nearly as nice as at other Marriott hotels. Rooms need updating, which explains the construction, but the common areas are lovely.
Great location, to spend an evening, have some drinks at the main lounge, or have dinner at Primos Italian restaurant. Wow. You be amazed in by the food and outstanding service
Stayed here during sister's wedding. Had a phenomenal experience. Airport isn't too far and it's close enough to the parks. The lazy River was great and the water temperature was perfect. They provided us with floatation devices and nice fun for kids too. I would recommend, as long as you're ok w the price.
