My stay at the JW Marriott last summer was great until a Marriott Vacation Club representative offered my wife and I gift cards to sit through a sales pitch next door. Mistake on our part. We were fraudulently sold a plan that we were told we could use to stay again at JW Marriott's and Ritz Carltons. You can, but the fine print on limitations and conversion penalties was never explained, making it a very bad financial trap.
I am surprised JW allows this practice to go on in their facility and under their banner. I am surprised Marriott would allow practices like this to tarnish their brand.
