Integrity should never be underestimated. Because of the honesty and straight talk of Terry A. (Senior HVAC Technician), I will not hesitate to call John Moore again. Terry was friendly and helpful with educating me on ALL of our options. He went the extra mile to see if my issue was possibly much simpler than the (much more expensive) issue that had been preliminarily diagnosed. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate his service. Thanks, Terry. You are the kind of person that strengthens the long-term customer relationship.

John Moore services have been so good in the past that I quickly took advantage of the membership deal to access all the company's available services. The technicians have been straight forward about what needs to be done and pricing, and I appreciate it. Thank you William, Jedd, and Galacio and his helper. You all were so helpful and hard-working. The financing process was super easy.

Call John, Get Screwed!!!

This guy came out for a faulty valve, then said I'd have to replace my whole unit, Then said my system is to small for my house. Also took some cell phone pictures of "green stuff" around my copper pipes and said that was old oil residue from an oil leak. So he quoted me $10,500 for a 100% new system both inside and out.

Next Day I called around and three different companies said the valve is about $150 with a few hours of labor and they need to replace the coolant at $50 a pound. The guy I choose inspected the rest of the system and said the "green stuff" is the copper oxidizing, and my system is 100% fine. So my fix went from $10,500 to $600. These guys are crooks through and through. If you live in North Houston call Jason LaFitte, don't get these guys.

The whole experience was amazing, from the friendliness of the staff member who took my call to setup the appointment, to the technician Diego Ferreira who came to our home to service our AC. Communication was flawless throughout the entire process, Diego was very polite and provided great recommendations to keep our AC on good conditions. After this great experience I will definitely call John Moore again and I will recommend it to everyone!!!

Javier did not want to thoroughly explain the plumbing issues I had, to me. He kept saying it was no point for him to explain, because I wouldn't understand anyway. Despite the fact, that I insisted it would benefit me greatly to get a clear understanding of my plumbing issues. He also rushed out of my house without replacing the trap door to my bath tub, after he took it down.When I went outside and asked him if he could put it back the way it was,he said,"Well you can't put it back?" For this company to charge the prices they do, I find them extremely rude.

John Moore came out to our home in a timely manner. Charles, the roofer was on time and communicated when he was on his way. He was very thorough and identified some concerns that we were not aware of. And we are pleased that we were able to have those issues resolved. Charles was very pleasant to do business with. If you are elderly PLEASE don t use this company! They over quoted my elderly father-in-law over $3500 for a job that costs 1/3 of that price! Glad he told us and we checked it out with another company who also told us John Moore is notorious for doing this to older people.

I called in the morning to have my A/C serviced, and they said they had 4-8 pm opening today. The customer service rep. called me around 3:20 to confirm I would be home, to which I said "Yes". I had a missed call from the service technician 11 minutes later, but I was on the freeway and I don't like talking while I'm driving. So when I got home called back, and found out they cancelled my appointment because I didn't answer the techs call, which was 11 mins after I confirmed with the customer service rep. I took off work early, and now I have to find another service provider. Plus I won't be refunded the $49.00 fee for 5-10 business days.

Daniel Hodges a plumber from John Moore was very professional and friendly. Knew exactly what the issues was ~ explained what caused it ~ repaired the shower tub valve. We had an issue with our air conditioning unit, and Alex Phalcon was sent to take a look at the unit. We had a wire short out, and the transformer was blown in the unit. Alex fixed the transformer, and we also took the opportunity to have a couple of other things done as well. We had a new thermostat installed as well as an ultraviolet light for the condensing tubes. Alex did a great job. He kept us informed with the progress, and the repairs/installations did not take very long. We are very satisfied with the service from John Moore.

We recently had an issue with our a/c not working overnight which, also, involved a Nest thermostat. I called John Moore Services the next morning and they had two great technicians at our home by 10:00 a.m. We were extremely pleased with Kristopher Lee and David. They identified and fixed the problem within minutes and then spent a considerable amount of time instructing us on helpful ways to adjust the Nest, as well as helping me to connect it to my Smart phone for more efficient ways to adjust it whether I'm in another room or even away from the house. We want to say thank-you, again, to Kristopher and David and let those at John Moore Services know that, once again, we have been very pleased with their services and their employees!

Larry has serviced my home for pest control during the couple of years. He replaced another technician who also performed stellar service. He is always courteous, timely, and attentive to the requirements for the job at the time. I can count on him to respond if a problem arises and he is diligent and knowledgeable. We had a water heater emergency. John Moore Services were able to come out and fix it. The Technicians were knowledgeble and helpful. They had good prices and explained the product and warranty where my husband and I could understand! I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs you may have.

Picture this. It was Saturday morning and I was in the shower. Suddenly the shower would not drain - at all. I plunged and it would not budge. Panic sets in because I have had much plumbing problems in the past due to a badly cracked foundation. I thought, "This is it. The pipes have finally collapsed under the house." I panicked. I cried. I called John Moore. The tech came out 2 hours early, unplugged my drain and advised that the city was working down the street on the main line so whenever they were ready, my drain was ready to flow. He was courteous and careful to cover his workboots when entering my house. Was the price a little steep? I think so. But I was very thankful for the successful outcome.

Both Technicians that came to help were absolutely phenomenal. They both connected with me in a way where it wasn't just about the job but about me and my family. They were like part of the family "coming to my rescue" lol. Suggestions for future mishaps that might happen and concerns about other jobs were quickly answered professionally and in full detail. Great service. Highly recommend.

I had a technician come out to look at my injured outside AC unit and did a partial inspection and decided that I needed a new $8500 unit, $8500! So I called around to several other places had other companies come look at the unit. One company came by, who will from now on be our AC guys, and discovered that the fix we needed was $250, not $8500. I would call the actions of John Moore crooked and untrustworthy. I am very disappointed in the actions taken by John Moore. I do think that everyone should always get a second opinion and do not trust John Moore.

Both times had great technicians who were very informative, friendly, and not pushy when it came to what repairs were needed, etc.

Mr. Citizen came to check the plug behind a broken drink fridge on my patio. The last time it malfunctioned the plug was the culprit, so I decided to begin there. Mr. Citizen tested and verified that the outlet functioned, then my fridge magically kicked back on! He also checked another plug and breaker (usually used for holiday lights) and gave me some great (free) advice about what to plug in and how to weatherproof my Christmas lights to keep everything running smoothly. He was on-time and very profession.
