OK!, First I'd like to start by saying that I rarely ever post reviews but in this case I have to make an exception. I was in the market for a new car for my daughter and read nothing but good reviews about John Eagle Honda online so I went to see what all the fuss was about. Not only is the dealership and the cars clean and "fresh" from the initial driving into the dealership but when you enter the showroom you will be blown away with the professionalism of the staff and the amazing atmosphere you just entered. I cant say enough about our sales associate that took care of us and sold us our car but I'll tell you that I have never seen a sales associate go the distance that Mr. Ali Shahid did. This man really took the car buying experience to a whole other level of satisfaction before and after the sale. After I left the dealership I was so educated on the purchase I'd just made and all of the extra benefits that you will get with purchasing from John Eagle Honda. Thanks Ali for showing me that buying a new car can still be a pleasant thing and not a headache!! No wonder you are the Assistant Sales Manager!! I also want to post that my Finance Manger Steve Stromatt was courteous to our needs and very professional with expanding the deal and also went beyond the normal expectations to get the deal done. Everyone employed by John Eagle Honda is extremely qualified and professional at their jobs and I can't stress enough that if you are in the market for a new Honda then don't waist you time with other guys and just go straight to John Eagle Honda and get the cheapest deal and the most professional courteous service that you will want to tell all your friends a family about. We just purchased our 3rd vehicle from John Eagle Honda today. Ali Shahid was our salesman and he was superb throughout the whole deal. We took a couple of vehicles out for test rides and left the dealership to look at another vehicle but we came back to John Eagle and made the purchase on the Crosstour; Ali had 'saved' the vehicle for us because he 'knew' we'd be back for it. I don't think you can beat the Customer Service at John Eagle - it's one of the many reasons we came back to buy from them once again, and we were not disappointed in the deal we got. Thank you Ali for making us such a great deal, and for the whole process being so fun and enjoyable. We appreciate you going above and beyond for your customers!

First time buying from the dealership so perhaps there is something I'm missing. Honestly didn't like the experience as I felt like they didn't care whether I bought the car or not. Also... like things like only receiving one key and having to pay an additional $275 for the second key is frustrating. Especially on a used car where you know they received two keys at trade in.

Roger Hickey at John Eagle Honda is by far the best Service Technician I have dealt with in quite some time. He worked directly with my extended warranty to ensure all problems were fixed correctly and covered fully by the warranty if it was included. He called me every step of the way to update me of any new discoveries and the progress of my car. I will definitely ask for Roger next time I need service work on my car.

Today a purchased a pre-owned vehicle from John Eagle Honda. I have 30 years in the automotive industry and my experience today completely blew me away. Salesman brought the vehicle to my office, my Son thought the front brakes may have a small problem. They brought the vehicle back to the dealership, completed a front brake job. I Purchased the car 2 hours later. If you did not look at the odometer, you would think the car was brand new. 5 Star is a major understatement! I HIGHY RECOMMEND John Eagle Honda

I scheduled a test drive and liked the car I saw. The salesman (Ronnie) SEEMED to be very attentive. After the test drive I wanted to look at a diffrent vehicle. At this time the salesman became visable frustrated and said that he had already done paperwork on the car and would now have to start the process all over again. He reapeated this multiple times, had my car not been in the process of an appraisal I would have left immediately. They do not value your time here and are more worried about starting the next sale than meeting a customers needs.

In August 2015 We searched for a Honda Fit. These cars are popular and hard to find. The sales person at John Eagle helped. He listened very well to what our ideas were, what we were looking for in a car. Did not try to "sell us" but just pointed at differences in makes, models. They did not have the model we were looking for
A couple of weeks later he called to let us know that they just received the model we wanted. We came to the dealership a day later and he showed us two, and we ended up buying exactly the make and model we wanted: A Honda Fit EXL. The car answers all our wishes: compact, great mpg, tons of space inside, and smooth ride.
Two week in, the car was scratched at a student car wash. When I went to the dealership to pick up my license pleas and showed the scratch the same sales person brought me to the service department where they touched up the scratch till almost not visible.....for free!! and they washed the car. That's what I call service!! I would recommend anyone to buy a car at John Eagle Honda Houston!! And Abdul is an excellent sales person!! Ask fro him if you go buy a car there!

I wanted to show my mom the vehicle I was going to purchase so I brought her to see the vehicle in the show room. As soon as I walked into the dealership Christian Huynh greeted me. I let him know exactly what I was looking for and within a few seconds he brought out the car I was looking for. Christian made sure all questions I had were answered. I generally avoid buying used cars from dealers, irate to their gimmicks and exploitation. I am writing this review because I had a positive experience at John Eagle Honda, to my disbelief and pleasant surprise.

Ali was my salesman, who respected my time and let me inspect the car I was interested in, while he was wrapping up with another customer. After we finished the test drive, I was impressed with the haggle-free pricing negotiation. We were able to agree on a price, which I thought was a fair value. The whole pricing negotiation took less than 20 mins or so, as Ali asked the right questions to clearly understand my expectations. The sales manager (behind the glass room) must also be credited for cutting the crap out.

Financing portion of the purchase, took slightly longer than I was prepared for ... but, it was understandable as it was late in the evening and there were several buyers closing their deals.

Before driving off the lot, Ali filled up the gas tank, washed the car, did a walk-through of the car with me and took a fair chunk of time to secure the spare wheel in the well. I felt he treated me right and cared about my buying experience.

When driving back home, I noticed that one of the headlights was not as bright as the other one. So, I took my car to Ali, the next day. He worked with his (sales) manager and service department to replace the HID bulbs on both the headlights, which was covered in "We Owe You" as part of the purchase. The service was completed the same day.

Over all, I am very pleased with my buying experience with John Eagle. This is my second purchase with them in the last 5 years, and I plan to buy from them again if they have the car of my choice. I will recommend to my friends as well.

Wow, I love my Accord V6!! I had a wonderful experience here and now I'm driving my dream car. I was very impressed with Lavell because he was so honest and helpful. He didn't push me to spend more on a brand new car (which he could have done) instead he encouraged me to get the gently used car for the best value and so I can be extremely comfortable with my payments. He was really looking out for me. I am so glad he did because my 2012 is really just like a brand new car. She is perfect!! Just had a great used car trade experience at John Eagle. Came in looking for a used Ridgeline, but left with something even more fun. Was it the easiest or quickest car buying experience I've had? Nope. Was it the worst? Far from it. Keith Thomas & Emelio Hernandez both helped me a lot taking me for various test drives and getting me through the initial negotiation process, and Manny Gil in the finance team made sure I understood all of my options but never pressured me. Even when I had some troubles with delayed paperwork in the TX systems, John Eagle's finance manager jumped on the problem and had answers for me by the end of the day. They took care of my wife before and me this time. I have no problem giving them another look in the future.

This location does not do a good job with balancing your tires. I bought the car here and twice balancing with vibration not fixed. Went to get road force balancing done and they told me all my tires are out of balance. This is right after I had Honda balance my tires.

do not buy your car here. pay attention to what's on the contract and finance sheets. get everything in printed letterhead and do not let them go back and forth with handwritten notes and green screen numbers only. they post attractive online prices, and then after you agree to a number, try to get you with loan packing by presenting a seemingly "great" monthly rate that includes all kinds of extras at a much higher interest rate than what you'd qualify for. then they tell you that if you buy their expensive warranty plan, even on a honda cpo, that they'll significantly drop their rates. the finance guy also presented much higher monthly payments for the amount and rate included, and when i showed him that the online edmunds car payment calculator showed much lower payments, said they have different algorithm and he can change some factor to get me closer. it's basic math and amortization. i ended up walking out as i was vigilant even after being made to wait over 4 hours there, including in the finance office. to push their high interest plan and then expensive warranties, they'll also tell you that honda only finances those who've had honda financing before, which is false. they also tried to pass off as "miscommunication" the surprise appearance of their "doc fees" that "everyone must pay", even though the salesperson had explicitly agreed to no additional surprise charges over the transaction number that we had negotiated. when i got everyone involved in a room, they said they didn't think such a "small" charge would be a big deal. i ended up getting a car at autonation honda corpus christi and easily got the honda interest rate that i knew i should qualify for based on my credit. they made the whole deal transparent via email. i plan to talk to their GM and then honda corporate and the consumer protection agencies about these tactics at john eagle.

They said I needed a new starter (70k miles on the car). They kept my car for three days to replace the starter (which is only about a two hour job). They somehow busted out a fog light during a test drive (which they put over 20 miles on my car while it was in their possession). I was given a very strange story regarding the light. Last, the loaner car I was given was SUPER dirty inside and out. This place was once the #1 dealership...now not so much....

Matt Patterson of John Eagle stood out with his prompt responses and friendly behavior. Once I visited the dealership Matt was very courteous and helpful in explaining me everything and also he gave me great deal.
I would also like to mention the Finance Manager - Elhadji Toure.
Elhadji was very patient and helpful during the entire documentation process and explained me what is what.

Overall it was a great experience at John Eagle and the entire staff is very welcoming that you will feel at home. Also, everyone is willing to get your business and everything is non-rushed.

So if you are looking at great customer service, awesome people, good deals - John Eagle is the place.

this is a very slimy dealership. We had a Honda Odyssey Touring I brought in for a battery change. I kept waiting for my service to be done for 3 hours. No one said any thing to me. Finally I came to the front desk and ask where is my car. The front desk person said your car was done more than 1 hour ago but no one notified me. I picked up the key and found out that the car was parked like 150 yards away. I drove home. When I got home I found out that the car had a ding right on the hood right where the battery is. I called the dealership and the manager flatly denied responsibility.
