They will print a report to make you feel like their no haggle price is a great deal. They install a vehicle tracking device that they claim can t be uninstalled, but really they just want to keep that extra $795 markup on top of the sale price of the vehicle. When their little salesman gets sent out with the paperwork, he will go back and get his manager to basically kick you out for not taking their price.
Love getting oil chg here no appt needed and still wait is not long because of the number of staff waiting and working. And all are really cool.... Good stuff

This was my best car buying experience, ever! I was looking for a Honda Certified pre-owned Odyssey and Zane was the perfect salesman. He first showed me all the exterior and interior features, then took me for a ride to demonstrate some of the new technology. Then he had me drive to test out the vehicle for myself. When I decided this was the best vehicle for our family, Manny, in finance, even made the experience pleasant. Then Zane topped it all off by setting up our smart phones with the Bluetooth and helping us set up some favorite radio stations. He made sure I felt comfortable with all the features before we took off into the five o'clock traffic. This was my third Honda purchase, but my first from John Eagle. In the future, it will be my first stop for another Honda!

I purchased a used car and was very impressed by the quality of the dealership and the people who work there. I worked with Ali and he did a great job getting me a better deal. Very knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. He even noticed that the temperature sensor was faulty before I left (I was completely oblivious to it) and got it repaired quickly. I worked with Mark in the financing office and he did a great job getting me the best interest rate he could and getting us through the paperwork. Before going out to John Eagle make sure you've checked the traffic and road closures because it's off of 290. Great people who know what they're doing and don't play games or waste your time.
Do NOT give them your business. We spoke with a rep for 3 days and tried to send the documents several times so we could get a head start. The dealership was an hour away but of course, the salesman said we were approved by the bank. We trusted this and came in. We authorized 1 credit check and they ran 7. It s salesmen like this that give the bad reputation. How sad. We will be reporting these inquiries as UNAUTHORIZED.

Tried to buy a truck awhile back and the salesman started with a higher than expected monthly payment. I asked to get ones better to my budget and not to add on packages into the plan. He comes back with an even higher plan, but with out the package. I asked to stop doing this and aim for my budget price and he comes back with the same monthly plan as prior. All the while slipping in he could lose his job if he doesn't sell today and he's new to the dealership, as if the sympathy is to sell me. Why didn't he sympathized with the concerns of my sale? Was he trained to up sale and belittle the customers? This insults my intelligence and shows the practices they implement at this dealership. I went in wanting to negotiate, even put my paid off car and cash down towards this truck to get it into my payment range and they got greedy and saw a sucker to pull a fast one on. It dosnt matter what they say to this action, if they see you as a mark they will exploit you for profits because that's what you are, a walking bank account. If they cared, they would do real business with you and come to a compromise between both parties by finding a profit they can be comfortable with and a monthly payment/price I could be willing to invest in.
John Eagle is the best car dealership and hands down the best of the best is Allyne McBride! Courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and always ready with a solution to whatever problem you present him. Too often dealers are uninterested in after-sale follow-up. I know I can count of Allyne and John Eagle for the life of my car.

I purchased my new 2014 Honda Accord on March 22, 2014. I went to the this dealership to get a Vin# (better priced) for the bank who was going to finance my buy. I was approached by Evan Alomepe, Salesman just wanting to know if I had been helped. He was so professional, informative, and cordial. He did not pressure me into buying, yet answered all of my questions. At that point I knew I could trust him. At the end of my questioning, he offered me an opportunity to let Honda finance my purchase. I accepted, thus began the friendship. He introduced me and my sister who was with me for support to Allan, Sales Manager. Allan sat and talked with us like we were old friends, then we were introduced to Steve, Finance Manager, who made the majic happen. We laughed the whole time while in his office, processing and signing papers. From the beginning until the end, each gentleman presented themselves very knowledgeable and professional of their duties. Within two hours I was driving home in my NEW 2014 HONDA ACCORD. Would I recommend JOHN EAGLE HONDA; not yes, HELL YES. Keep up the fabulous work guys.
I purchased a new Honda Civic last weekend and love it! I have had the pleasure of owning multiple Hondas, but this was my first one to be purchased at John Eagle Honda of Houston and the best customer service I have ever received. I was fortunate to have Heath as a sales person. He was competent, thorough, super nice and friendly but not pushy in anyway! The dealership is immaculately clean and comfortable while you wait. Ask for Heath as you will no be disappointed.
John Eagle Honda does have some pretty good prices with active mark downs on a daily basis. However, they are not trying to make a whole lot of money on each car. Instead, they're trying to rip you a new one in their added charges, sky-high seller-financed loans, and extended warranties they sell to you by lying to you. Let me explain each.
First, if you are there to buy a Honda certified pre-owned car, what they do is that they lower their posted prices steadily until a customer walks in. Then they would charge you $795 for clear coat and fabric protection that they apply to each used vehicle as a part of their conditioning process. The reason? They outsource vehicle preparation to a company named Teph Seal and they want to pass the costs on down to consumers even though it's a necessary part of their business process.
Second, what they don't make on each pre-owned vehicle's margins, they will lie to consumers by first discussing financing options without disclosing what type of loan you'll be hooked into. Under conventional loans, consumers pay an increasing amount of principal with each payment, and their interest expense decreases with each payment. John Eagle defaults to what appears to be add-on rates, under which ALL interest are charged on the original value of the loan. For example, if you take a 5 year, $10,000 loan at 10% APR, you'll end up paying a total of $12,748 with a payment of $212. Under John Eagle's add-on rate, they will charge you compounded interest of 10% over 5 years to inflate the total to $16,105 with a payment of $268, inflating the effective APR to 21%. Of course, they will try tell you that buying extended warranties and insurance coverage will lower the effective APR while increasing you total payments by a few hundred per financial product. That doesn't change the fact that your overall financing package is a gross ripoff to begin with. It's all funny money at this point.
Third, even if your Honda certified pre-owned vehicle still has factory bumper-to-bumper warranty, their finance guy will imply that each Honda vehicle's factory warranty offers bumper-to-bumper warranty ONLY during the initial 12 months "adjustment period," after which only "manufacturer defects" are covered. When you ask them the difference between "manufacturer defects" and "bumper-to-bumper," they will give you an evasive answer by telling you that "repairs are not guaranteed" and tell you that Honda would arbitrarily reject your warranty claims, all the while refusing to tell you whether "bumper-to-bumper" still applies. If you check Honda's warranty manual, you'll see that the ONLY thing covered during the initial 12 months of a vehicle's service time that is not covered after the "adjustment period" is wheel alignment, for which Firestone charges $129 for the life time of the vehicle (though non-transferable).
Another deceptive sales tactic John Eagle Honda will do is to try to sell you some gap coverage during which a vehicle's depreciation makes it so that it is worth less than the amount of loan, such that the insurance payout in the event of a total loss would be less than the amount of the loan. While this may be true in some cases, they generally are no longer a concern after a vehicle's loan had been paid for a couple of years and if the buyer pays a sizable down payment. However, the finance salesman will portray this as a problem for the entire duration of the loan and charge you for that time period. Further, this is especially a problem with their form of financing (i.e., seller-financed add-on loan) because principal is paid off in a straightline fashion (i.e., principal-interest composition remains the same for all payments).
Of course, for such a complex option, John Eagle Honda does not disclose any of these information nor do they even attempt to explain it in good faith. In short, they will lie and cheat you out of tens of thousands of dollars in interest and upsells. Beware!!!!!
Christina Raymond, Zane Pruett, and Heath Dixon made the whole car buying experience simple, easy, and seamless. I knew exactly what I was looking for and they wasted no time finding the car with the options I wanted. Christina, Zane, and Heath were very knowledgeable about the CR-V and thoroughly explained how to use all the features in the car when I received it. I couldn't be more happy with the excellent service I received.
I was thoroughly satisfied with my visits to John Eagle Honda. My initial visit was great. I enjoyed test driving the HRV and the CRV. Gary Ortega was very knowledgeable in all of the car features and "perks". He made me feel comfortable and confident in making a final decision of the car I vibed with. :) I appreciate his ability to make my experience with customer service at John Eagle Honda superb. I ended up purchasing the HRV. The process went smoothly, and I LOVE my new car.
My service agent, Sandra, clearly explained what was going to happen with regard to maintenance of my vehicle and let me know what would be coming in the future. John Eagle Honda's staff and service is nothing short of superb; both of my daughters recently purchased new cars there. The sales team is very professional and diverse. Mr. Bryant Sharp adds a special touch to the team there in that he gels with any personality and will treat you fairly. Hands down I will always do business there for my car experience.
I went to John Eagle Honda on 08-09-14 to have my AC repaired. After the initial inspection, the expansion valve needed to be replaced and I went with the recommended replacement of the evaporator as well, (an up-sell), but with the Texas heat I went for it. Summing up my experience are as follows:
Pro
Parts (Expansion Valve & Evaporator) were discounted to competitively match what other dealers were offering. They were charging me list price on these parts and I could have easily ordered them from Majestic Honda at 30% off. They agreed to give me a 25% discount. (Note: Including the shipping and handling charges Majestic Honda would still have been cheaper).
Cons
Inaccurate information on when parts were arriving - This is when I got a call on Tuesday, 08-19-14. Dave Johnson, my service representative, informed me that the car was finally ready however there were minor parts that needed to be installed and that it would be received the next day. Upon arrival on Wednesday, I was told that the parts were not there and I have to come back another time. No consideration was placed on my time and the distance I have to travel for the remaining parts.
Inaccurate billing - Aside from the Expansion Valve & Evaporator there were additional parts added to the invoice at 45% OVER list price. In addition, all of which are suspect to being mishandled, leading to it breaking or misplaced. After going back to the dealer yet again on 08-26-14, the mechanic admitted that a few parts were lost and so I was refunded those parts. This was after much argument with my service representative and him accusing me of trying to get stuff for free. Another thing to note was I trusted my service representative, Dave Johnson, knew his math as he calculated the refund. Once I got to the office and began to put the invoice away, I noted his numbers did not add up. I had to call back to have the additional amount credited back.
Deep Scratches on the firewall and bent access hole - The expansion valve has a cover which comes in two pieces and is held together by locking push tabs. Instead of pushing the locking tabs to release the cover it is very apparent that it was pried off the firewall using a flat head screwdriver which led to deep scratches on the firewall, bending the lip of the access hole and breaking the part.
Broken turn signal - Leaving the dealership, I directly proceeded to work. Upon arrival I then noticed that the passenger side turn signal was hanging from just its wires. It appears during work was performed it had been accidentally knocked off. In the process, one of the retaining tabs broke. It seems to appear that it was returned to its place with the intent to conceal the damage until I drove out of the lot. Without the retaining tab the light easily worked itself out of its place from wind and road vibration. I ended up ordering this part online.
To sum up my experience, I am quite displeased with the service I got especially with my service representative, Dave Johnson. I truly wished that our conversations were recorded as he flat out lied. He aims to please and would say things that are untrue. Second, the notion of taking pride of your work is most certainly absent. The scratches on the engine bay shows the lack of care. Lastly, the burden was place on me to scrutinize the invoice/bill. Aren't we customers owed a fair and accurate billing?
Follow up - I would like to commend John Eagle s management for their commitment to service quality and customer satisfaction. I was contacted by Jassen Richardson, Parts and Service Director, on 08-27-14. Jassen was both apologetic and sympathetic to my plight. He offered to repair the scratches and reimburse me for the broken turn signal. It is unfortunate that I experienced such an ordeal however Jassen was great and addressed all the issues I had with the service.
Your service department was very kind and generous to my daughter who is a dedicated school teacher. Her 2010 Honda Accord needed repairs for road hazard damage on a fender molding , an A/C repair and new license plates installed. They did the repairs at no cost which was a great surprise and blessing to my daughter. Thank you all. Jack Goodwin

Great experience working with Jamal at John Eagle, the process was surprisingly stress free. He took the time to show me all the features and gave me personal examples of times he has used such features in his own model car. He also stayed committed to the sale, apparently John Eagle closes at 9:00pm and I left in my new Accord around 10:45pm. I had a ton of questions too and he was patient enough to answer each question with confidence and assurance. Very pleased with Jamal and his efforts! Will shop with him again.......well if Honda can add a sunroof to the Sport model LOL!
My husband and I bought a 2014 Honda CRV from John Eagle in September, and hands down this has been the best Honda dealership EVER!! Not only did we get our CRV for a great price, but we also have since had outstanding service for both our CRV and Honda Accord Coupe, that we did not buy from John Eagle. Just yesterday I took the CRV in to get a tire changed, and Allyne McBride was the absolute best. He was ready for my arrival, friendly, and always helpful. He then introduced me to Mike Ma, who actually oversaw my tire change. Mike Ma, was a wonderful extension of quality service from Allyne. I am extremely pleased with John Eagle Honda, and especially Allyne McBride and Mike Ma. We will be returning in the future.

I called the service relating to my Honda Pilot 2012 on Saturday Morning 1/16/2016. The receptionist transferred to Service Dept. Nobody picked up but voice mail. I called again and asked I needed to talk to a service personal and again but voice mail. I called and asked that I needed to talk to the manager. Of course, manager's voice mailed. I left the message and Someone called me back on Monday.
I was helping my mom look for a car and saw several Certified 2014 Accords listed on both AutoTrader and John Eagle's website for a good price. Unfortunately, upon arriving at the dealership the salesman insisted that all their cars come bundled with a mandatory care package (outside the Honda certified warranty) for substantially more money, which was not disclosed or even alluded to online. I said we were not interested in a car with that package, but he refused to budge, even after pulling the typical "let me talk to my manager" maneuver. He helpfully suggested we come back after we "do our due diligence"; needless to say he didn't get a sale. Having already done my "due diligence" in several previous car purchases across multiple brands and dealers, I suggest going elsewhere if you don't want to be treated like an idiot.
I have had experience at other Honda dealers, and it is not that my experience there was so bad, it is that my experience at John Eagle was noticeably good in comparison. I have become quite a Honda fan and figure always to give John Eagle Honda the first opportunity to sell me a vehicle the next time I need one.
On Saturday, July 23 I went into the dealership stressed out and not real sure about what kind of car I wanted I had something in mind but didn't think I could afford it. I. Prior to coming to the dealership, had talked on the phone with Walter Boyd and he reassured me that he would be able to assist me in finding a vehicle that would meet my needs and he did just that! This gentleman approached me with the big smile and a firm handshake I was thoroughly please with Hughes customer service that he provided me. It was top-notch service from the time we introduced ourselves to me signing on the dotted line Mr. Boyd was with me the entire way and worked out a great deal my car is affordable and I love my CRV it is a blessing from God. I will highly recommend Mr. Boyd and John Eagle Honda to my friends and family very personable kind honest person very genuine and he gives good customer service.. thanks again mr. Boyd!
I purchased my second Certified Pre-Owned Honda from john Eagle Honda. If you have ever traded in a vehicle to purchase a newer vehicle, then you know how messy that can get. This time, however, everything was above board with both ends of the deal going along book values. The salesman, Max, was professional and courteous as he could be. I had a little exposure to the parts dept as I wanted to purchase a couple accessories; Curtis in parts, helped me make sure I got exactly what I needed. Luis is service assisted me and had the parts installed before I could finish my coffee. I would never consider going anywhere else but John Eagle Honda.

Excellent customer service that made it a pleasant car-buying experience. Because of budget contsraints, we could not afford an extended warranty. Finance got us such a deal on the financing that we were able to add the warranty plus gap coverage for a very small increase in our desired payment. These guys really went the extra mile to earn our business. I highly recommend this dealership.

I went to see the Honda Crosstour (love that car/suv) and was greeted by Gary Ortega! Lucky me! He was friendly, knew plenty about the products and didn't RUSH ME ! I took several days to make up my mind and he was nice and he was very patient; once I made my decision, he introduced me to the finance manager and checked on me while I was in there with Daniel. After the sale he showed me around the facilities, and showed me where to pick up the license plates when they come in; even followed up the next day with a phone call to make sure I was enjoying the vehicle. Yet another great experience at John Eagle Honda, thanks to Allyne McBride. I called at closing last night and they were able to get me in this morning at a time that was convenient for me. Allyne made sure to explain everything thoroughly and even showed me a few things under the hood so i could understand what exactly was being done. Thankfully there wasn't any pressure to have unnecessary work done and to top it off we were in and out in under an hour, which was what Allyne originally estimated. My car stopped working last Tuesday I called them and advised them that I Had a preapproval to get a new car. The sales rep that I worked with Abel was very helpful he already had cars lined up for me for when I arrived. He listened to me in regards to the features I was looking for and price point and delivered! My trade in was valued fairly. The finance team was phenomenal shout out to Xavier, Jaime Rojas, Jessie and Felipe in services. They kept their word in regards to scheduling my new vehicle to get tinted and offered me shuttle service to drop me off and pick me up for it to be completed on my lunch break. They have a customer for life!!!

My experience was decent. Was held there for a long time I ended up returning the car in which I first inquired about for personal reasons. I was then told they could get me a new one for around the same monthly payment however since I am young I do not have much of a credit history. Ended up driving away with a new 2012 Civic. I would highly encourage to give John Eagle Honda a try they will work hard to drop the price as much as possible.

This is my second time dealing with this dealership. I got the 2016 Honda Accord and I am very happy with my new car. Heath Dixon, sales consultant was professional and very informative. He answered all my questions. He did an excellent job explaining the sales details and how to work the various upgrade to my 2016 Honda. Heath and the team were excellent and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to by a new or used car.
this is my first time buying a new car from a dealership so didnt know what to expect. I walked in and they start asking for information to fill out (weird i thought). Anywho, they got all the info they needed and told me they will go out to find the car i'm looking for...came back 20minutes later, "I'm still looking for a decent price". I didnt' even give him a price point, but i sat there for another 15 min, he came by and say sorry there was no car you're looking for but we do have a different car. WTFreck...as i was driving out i saw many many accord....this place will waste your time...smh... look at other reviews and you can tell...
