Horrible experience. 2nd time buying a car, the first one was at a different dealership. This dealership is apparently opposed to filling up your tank for you when you buy it, and putting your license plates on for you when they come in. I test drove the car and saw that it had 1 little square in the gas meter. Then when I bought it, it had two squares. -_- They put like a half a gallon in my tank lol? Who does that? "Only put .5 gallons" ???? The first dealership I bought my car from...HELFMAN DODGE IN RIVER OAKS, they filled my tank ALL the way up and put my plates and registration sticker on for me. And the sales manager was EXTREMELY sarcastic...I was appalled at how he was acting. I work in sales and I would NEVER talk to a customer like that or run a dealership the way this one is.

expect long delays (2.5hrs) in the service department on Saturday. my husband had an appointment @ 9:30am, and it was expected to be completed within 1.5hrs. however, it was around 1:30pm that they finally completed the job, no notification was given, no ride was offered. overall my hudband spent 4 hrs waiting. this is too long, and no respect for their customers.

My first experience with John Eagle Honda was 7 years ago when I purchased a Honda Civic. For 7 years, I have NEVER had any issues with my Civic. I decided to keep this trustworthy vehicle and gave it to my daughter for her 16th birthday. Without any hesitation, I decided I would go back to John Eagle Honda for my next new vehicle. Friday, June 10th 2016 - From the moment you step out of your car, you are treated like "part of the family".. I was met by Heath Dixon who made the whole car buying experience not only simple for me, but an absolute pleasurable and fun experience! If there is one thing I cannot stand, it's pushy sales guys. Heath was not one of those guys. He was helpful, patient, professional, honest, knowledgeable, and his whole demeanor allowed me to feel comfortable with the decisions I was making. I don't particularly enjoy car shopping, but thanks to Heath... this experience was also a lot of fun! Once I made a decision on the vehicle I wanted, Heath took care of the paperwork, he got my payments to exactly where I wanted them and prepared me for meeting the guys in the Finance Office. Ask for M. Javaid! He was friendly and knowledgeable about the Honda Civics that we came to look at. He showed us the car fax, price, and the different features for the cars that we were interested in. He was patient as my family and I discussed each car and test drove two of them. I am now a proud owner of a beautiful blue 2013 Honda Civic EX and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Javaid even took the time to come see us after we finished with financing to show me how to use the car features that I wasn't familiar with. I brought my Honda 2007 up there for service. The customer service agent I encountered was great. That wasn t a problem. He was kind and courteous. The problem I am having is that upon arriving home I saw damage done to my vehicle. There was a dent in the passenger side both from and back. As of now the door is hard to close fully and water is getting into the car. I repeatedly inform someone at this particular Honda, but with no result. I would like for someone to review the footage to see if the damage was done inside the shop or outside the shop, because my car had to stay over night. I didn t think to walk around my vehicle, because I assume my car would be safe. I haven t heard anything back in about a week and a half. I think as a customer, I am not valued. I feel as though bc I have an older model car I m not appreciated. I would not bring my vehicle back up to this Honda service department again!!!!!! I m very disappointed.
The Service Department is hands down the best in Houston area! I had my both of my own Honda Pilot and Accord services done here, plus my two company cars as well. I needed some brake work done but I was going to go to brake check, however after talking with Allyne McBride (service advisor) I brought my car in and get the work done there. I was going to buy a different car, not Honda, but the service in the Advisor department with Allyne was awesome and I will be back
Want to thank everyone here for a very pleasant experience. I have been to multiple Honda dealerships around the Houston area and was treated very unfairly and even lied to. Honda of Clear lake was the worst by far. Steve Bramlet who is the manager there even admitted to misleading because "that's what everyone does in this business to get people through the door." John Eagle Honda was different. I spoke with Gary Ortega on the phone and asked him for an out the door price and when I arrived he honored what we spoke about. It's great to know there are still honest car salesmen. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks so much!
Russell Smith Honda is only 5 miles from me, and John Eagle is 16 miles, but I still go to John Eagle. Even with the drive I'm home faster than if I go to Russell Smith. I've had different service reps, and they've always been professional and helpful.
What a joke. Never discuss financing with the salesman, car buying 101. This place, the salesman comes with some piece of paper for you to sign with numbers they literally plucked out of the air. Their team isn't on the same page either. This was evident when the salesman and finance guy ended up clashing over what wasn't completed or wasn't explained. My sister found a used car she liked here, so I joined her to view the car. During my inspection, I found mold in the trunk (not from flood but perhaps a soda that previously spilled). They promised to get that cleaned. After they tossed all sorts of fake numbers, which the salesman tried to defend but ultimately admitted they didn't even know what interest rate the numbers were based on (I guess this tactic is so they can get you accepting of some outrageous bogus monthly note, perhaps it's easier for the financier to boost his commission). Then the salesman talks about potential 15% interest rates. I was ready to walk away at this point, but cooler heads got us finally to the finance office. We met the finance guy who advised us we'll work with a different financier who introduced himself and never returned leaving is to end up with the first financier anyhow. He left us for a hour waiting in his office, but didn't haggle much after returning. Long story short, the deal they made with my sister, between the salesman and financier, ended up all being a ploy. We spent an easy 3 hours here to still walk away with no car. Next day sister went to a different dealer and said she had total opposite experience.
I would not recommend John Eagle until they clean their sales practice.

Making John Eagle Honda the first place we went looking for a new car was the right decision. While we went there having seen comparisons of the Honda Pilot to other SUVs and fairly certain it was the car we were looking for, the sales staff, specifically Zach Barra, made it a very simple, no pressure effort. We were very pleased with the service and how easy it was to find the Car we wanted.

You got me the best deal possible and yet I was not able to walk out with the Odyssey I really wanted. That was not from a lack of trying. We just could not agree on the trad-in value for my BMW 5 Series. All the guys were really professional and treated me with respect. Xavier Vargas on the internet an in person and Bobby Damelio on the phone were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend John Eagle Honda to anyone, they are willing to help you get the best deal and if both parties can not agree on what is a good deal, no hard feeling. I drive 40-minutes to get to John Eagle Honda. It is not convenient, but I continue to make the trek because I honor the cheerful professionalism, and expert counsel and respect that has always been extended to me and to my wife. We have purchased or leased at least 5 vehicles from John Eagle. I always have my Hondas serviced at John Eagle. I appreciate that all estimates are exact; and if there appears, upon closer inspection, any additional need then I am informed and involved in the discussion, then I can decide whether or not to incur any extra expense to fix it. I am treated respectfully and warmly. A recent case in point, a year or so ago I leased a Honda FIT. My sales team (Jean Jean and Alan) made the process a breeze. I really surprised myself in how much I love this car. I'm 6' 5" tall, so I find it a continual source of personal amusement that I fit comfortably in my FIT. I've really LOVED it. A few weeks ago, Jean Jean called me to say he thought it possible for me to trade in my FIT for the newest model and still save me money. I made the appointment, not so much because I thought it was even possible to improve upon my current deal - with a car that I was completely happy with - but I knew John Eagle Honda has always valued my time. So, what the heck. True to his word, Jean Jean put me into a brand new FIT - exactly matching every aspect of my current car - with only one exception: the terms of THIS lease saved me approximately $3,000 over the other lease. Jean Jean is a joy to work with - buoyantly friendly. I also greatly value Bryant Sharp, general sales manager. Bryant had helped my wife and I years before when he was in the finance department. We hold Bryant in highest regard, and we are always welcomed into the dealership like visiting family. Yep, that's why I drive 40-minutes out of my way to remain a loyal John Eagle customer.
I recently visited John Eagle of Honda location to purchase a 2019 Honda Accord EX. Upon my visit I had the pleasure of meeting sales associate Justino Morales. I just wanted to take the time and acknowledge the exceptional customer service I received. I originally, had an appointment with other sales agent but when I arrived at the dealership was passed on to Justino. I for one have to express my gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful customer service I experienced. This man assisted me from 8pm to 11pm, by pulling 3 different cars up and lining them up side by side and going over the difference between each car. I was undecided on which car I liked and what perks I couldn t go without and which ones I could. He was very knowledgeable about each car and what they had to offer. We spent hours on going back and forward outside to look at the cars multiple times out the night just so that I could feel confident that I was picking the right car for me. Most dealerships just try to sell you a car, not him he actually listened and when I felt uncertain he was there to remind me of all the things I said I wanted from when we first started this car buying journey. He made sure I had options. And that I understood those options. He didn t rush me into anything. I really appreciated how patient he was with me. He made sure I had his personal contact information and even reached out to me the next day to follow up with me. He made me feel very welcoming and at ease making the decision of being a Honda owner. I wanted to personal thank him and provide feedback to his direct manger and their mangers about the experience I ve had. I am thankful for his upbeat personality, his energy, his excellent customer service skills and the knowledge that he had. I am very appreciative of the level of professionalism exuded. Even though I did not purchase my vehicle here, I keep coming back for auto maintenance for a couple of reasons. Their prices, their knowledge, and their customer service. I have not had a bad experience in the 3+ years I've been coming here. I will definitely consider them for my next vehicle purchase as well.

Express service assisted me today when I found myself in an unfamiliar area an hour from my home with low tire pressure warning light on in my Accord. Having driven through a road construction area, I was worried about potential tire damage and my safety driving home. They checked tires, adjusted pressure, and washed my car absolutely free of charge, in less than 20 minutes. Who does that these days?! So thankful for the kindness of strangers and a business that goes above and beyond. Many thanks!

John Eagle Honda sent me a competitive price quote via email. I confirmed price with salesman and manager before driving to the dealership to purchase the vehicle. Despite setting an appointment, the salesman was not prepared and was unable to answer questions I had asked earlier in the day. After an hour of waiting, he reveals that the quoted price was a "mistake", and that they could only honor it if I would agree to unwanted options that increased the price by more than 10% (excluding the destination charge). These options could not be excluded even if I ordered a new car and asked for them not to be included. Their price went from being very competitive to more than $1200 more than other quotes from reliable dealerships. They essentially used a 'price mistake' to perpetrate a Bait & Switch scam. Both the manager and salesman participated in the predatory sales tactic.
I will never consider doing any business with John Eagle Honda again.
They couldn't come down on their price which was over twice as much as what spring branch Honda quoted us. Their salesmanship was awful. I recommend taking your business to any other Honda dealership if you want to get an affordable price.

This dealership is HORRIBLE! The sales representatives and managers are unprofessional. They pretend to care about providing you a reliable car but i found that not to be true. I put a down payment on a car and when i drove it home the car was a piece of trash. I literally had body cramps from trying to keep the car on the road. DO NOT PURCHASE\Lease from this dealer. I will NEVER recommend anyone to this dealer.

Ali really is the best and all the good things people are saying about him is really true. I was shown the best option available with them and the whole process went smooth. Ali was amazing and the way he handle all the things especially helping me finding the perfect car and bringing everything in my terms really and the way I was given open space to make the right decision with all the information available it was great. Jamal went on the test drive with me and explain all the features available in the Accord (which I ended up buying.). He was professional and patient and handle everything to near perfection. This dealership uses low online prices as a tactic to get potential car buyers in the door. They are very proud of their competitive prices. But it is just a ploy. They pad their fees so much that there is nothing competitive about their prices. If you are a well informed consumer, you will see through their games immediately. Their salesmen are fast talking and try to move the process along leaving little space to ask questions. As soon as we walked through the door, I was immediately asked for my license for the test drive. After the test drive, Walter began the paperwork before we began discussing price. I had to interrupt him to tell him my intentions. After he told me the drive out price and me telling him I would not pay that, he went to the back for a long time. Another shallow tactic we easily saw through (should have got up and left right there and then). He came back and said he "miscalculated" the licensing fee and the price dropped $200. Another tactic, I was unimpressed. He began talking in circles about emails I clearly and repeatedly told him I did not see, how they get competitive prices, all things irrelevant to our questions. We asked for an itemized list of the costs. I wanted to know how much taxes, title, tags, documentation fees each would be individually. But they didn't want to show us because it would expose the $1500 extra they were trying to charge us. We had to get up and leave in the middle of the guy talking! I would never buy a car from them even if they offered well below my asking price. They treated us like we were too stupid to see through their games. I would highly recommend you buy or inquire about purchasing a vehicle elsewhere as these are not honest or straightforward people to deal with.
I love John Eagle Honda on the Northwest Freeway in Houston, TX This is my second automobile purchase from them. My sales rep was Mr. Heath Dixon. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the new HR-V auto. Before I test drove the car, he explained where everything was because it was starting to rain, and I didn't want to get caught without wipers. All of the phases of the sales transaction were so easy, very informative, the financing, the insurance, the contract paperwork. Heath was wonderful. I would rate his performance above l00% I love my new car, and would definitely recommend Heath Dixon to all my friends and associates.
I recently purchased a 2020 Honda Accord and they have the friendliest people working there. The salesmen were not pushy and they were a bunch of great guys to work with. I left that place very happy with my purchase and didn't feel like I got ripped off. Also, their customer service is the best. I had an issue with one of my wheels and they took care of it right away.

My wife and I were in the market for a newish used car. We talked to the salesperson Jason, who came across as very knowledgeable and honest. From talking to him, it was clear he believed in the product he was selling - he wasn't pushy, he wasn't condescending and he respected the research that we had put into it. He also did his homework too.
The finance department processed us with minimal pain and without trying to run us around, and we were out of there fairly quick. Buying a dependable used car which is a great deal can be a huge headache, but John Eagle Honda took the stress out and left us with a great car. Highly recommended!
Check your coolant antifreeze levels.They will not check it or fill it and then LIE on the maintanance paper that the coolant levels are fine. My coolant was empty, they never filled it since I got the new car. Also two other family members got 2 cars from here and their coolant was empty , they checked after I told them about my car. We always take it there for an oil change. They lie and say coolant level is fine and don't fill it.

I have been a Honda car buyer for the last 5-6 years. The best experience I have had was meeting and dealing with Ali Shahid, voted the Number 1 Salesman for months or years on end. Ali does his best to satisfy his customers both during the sales process, at Delivery and following up after the sale has been made. He is detail-oriented, not leaving his customers until they are completely satisfied with their choice of vehicle. I know that I can trust Ali to work his hardest at obtaining the best price for my trade-ins, searching for the type of vehicle that pleases me and any Customer service issues that arise. He has been my contact Salesman over the last 3 years and I know that I can trust him to look out for me. In one week, we purchased three (3) vehicles from him, then I brought my niece back the following week to purchase her new car. This should speak for itself as to how happy I am with Ali.
