I shopped at quite a few dealerships looking for my new 2016 Honda Pilot. My experience with Walter Boyd at John Eagle Honda surpassed them all. I was particularly impressed by his friendly attitude and his ability to find the exact model and color I wanted. I brought in my best price from another Houston dealership and they were able to match it.

I walked into the show room and I talked to this sales person who obviously did not like us and had to talk to us because that's his job. I told him my price and wanted more money down. Ended up leaving due to the lack of him wanting to not work it out plus the look of his mean face. I ended up at Hondas of Spring and it took me not much time, I have my price range and guess what, no down payment and like $30 off of what my original price was, and yes same model same features. Not the first time I buy a car. Now I'll trade in my other two cars for another great deal. Thanks to Thomas and too bad for him for not making commission on three vehicles from one customer.

My husband and I walked into John Eagle Honda last night (10/16/14) After we visited Katy Honda and Spring Branch Honda.
Let me tell you that the difference in customer service is BEYOND words.

First of all we were impressed that all of the sales people had uniforms that made them look very professional.

2nd. we weren t harassed when we walked in (about 630pm) we had already gotten an online quote from Rashad and we were coming to meet him. We were crossing fingers that this guy would be a professional one, because we did not have a good experience at the aforementioned dealerships.

Rashad is a great salesman, what makes him different from everyone else is that he is a people person; he is honest, and extremely professional. He really made our experience a very pleasurable one. He didn t waste our time, answered to questions we hadnt even thought about, and walked us through step by step. Got us the best deal available and offered us things that previous dealerships didn t offer.

Then it came to financing our brand new Honda Fit.
This experience was GREAT also! I am sorry but I don t remember the name of the finance person who helped us last night, I believe it was Steve. He is a great professional as well, and explained everything with a lot of patience. We walked out of there very happy and confident we had made a great deal.

I couldn t of asked for a better customer service starting from Abel Sixto to Zach Diaz! I honestly walked in there clueless on what I wanted. Abel was so patient with me. I had my toddler with me at the time and for those who are a mom know what this means. Abel did not ignore but listen to what my son wanted lol. Picking out this vehicle was not just a purchase for me but for my little family. With both of their help they made this family VERY happy. I recently purchased my Honda Pilot from John Eagle Honda. I love the great experience I received from there. My salesman Ali Shahid, was very professional about his job. Ali made my husband and I feel very welcome at John Eagle Honda. I was skeptical in buying a car at first because I hadn't shopped for a vehicle in awhile. Ali made that experience easy and helped us well get into our Honda Pilot. I had one small issue with the vehicle because the previous owner had a mishap in the vehicle spilling coffee all over the dashboard making the a/c and radio buttons impossible to use. Right away Ali and the service department took care of this adding a whole new part. Thank you Ali for being such a great salesman.

I felt like I was forced into buying the warranty. They were very mad that I got a pre approved check from my credit union as they make more money on selling you their insane finance option. The sales person will tell you that he is giving you the bumper to bumper warranty for the employee price. Remember Honda is generally a well built car and does not require the warranty. They will charge you $350 for the tint and $150 for seat treatment which are mandatory. They made me wait for almost 2 hours before the finance officer saw me. I will not go here again.

WARNING to all customers of John Eagle Honda. Long read but worth it. Be Careful here. We bought a used car here 2 weeks ago. After coming to an agreement we go in finance office to finish paperwork. We get the normal sales pitch to buy a $3000 warranty. It's a $6500 car, we don't want warranty. They put a $700 warranty (can't remember exact amount) for keys, tires and something else warranty on our finance paper. He said we HAD to take it. It's automatically on all sales he said. We refused, finally removed it. Then here comes the "Director" I think was his title. We both immediately didn't like him at all. Comes in like we were all best friends, sickening chummy. Very much hard sales pitching for warranty. Which we refused. He said he would lower the cost of the GAP warranty to his cost and lower the price of car or lower interest rate to cover the cost, so we would be covered if something happened to car. We agreed. So he went out of room, and both guys came back in. He said ok we adjusted interest rate and put the $300 warranty in finance. We said ok. And being all charitable he said I also GAVE you the $700 warranty. "GAVE" he said. We say thanks. Maybe he is ok guy. WRONG....he added ANOTHER $600 charge in financing for this. We about blew a gasket. What a LIAR AND A CHEAT. We refused. The finance guy was almost as bad now trying to say he really did mean it was free. Anyways got it removed. It was simple to catch just look over your numbers. Get out your calculator and add things up. TRUE CAR SALESMAN TACTICS at John Eagle Honda.

They offered me Blue Book price for my trade-in. The car I bought was a certified Accord, and it was listed at $600 below what Blue Book said dealers would charge for a certified Accord of the same year with twice as many miles. After negotiation, they went a little bit lower. The car was spotless. I went to several dealerships looking for a car, and at John Eagle things were not a hassle. After researching the car and what I should pay, I saw that their price was fair and that the trade-in quote was more than fair. I walked away feeling that I had gotten a good deal on a car that I had thought was out of my price range. My brother has bought two cars there and feels the same way. I don't know about their service because I haven't needed it (nor has my brother--Hondas are great), but if you are looking to buy a certified used Honda, this is a great place to go. Thanks Alvin and whomever else helped make my purchase happen, I will be back. I went to several places looking for cars, and John Eagle was by far the best.

I recently bought my very first car, a certified, pre-owned Civic, from John Eagle Honda, and the experience was fantastic! Many staff members helped with every minute detail and question I had. Sales associates Jamal Morrison and Joey Clauder were crucial in the process of helping me find MY car. With them helping me along the way, I never had to settle and felt comfortable when working with them during the browsing and purchase. I would highly recommend John Eagle Honda, and will definitely purchase my next car from them.

They did their job by informing us of all the different outlets that they could provide us without being over the top or pushy! We were able to make a decision and not feel pressured into a buy! Zane, our salesman was so great and made us feel comfortable! He worked with us the best he could to get us what we wanted. Bobby was polite and informative on the phone. He made sure to greet us before and after the sale! Steve in finances created a laid back environment! He allowed us to make our own decisions while telling us our different options! Just purchased a 2012 Chevy Sonic at John Eagle and let me say that I am very happy with my experience there. I did not have a trade in and did not have a lot of money to put down (almost none actually) and had not had a car since 2010. Zane and Chad were awesome! Bobby as well. They worked really hard to get me in that car and they did it all in a few hours. My daughter and I took a cab there Thursday afternoon at 5pm and at around 7pm we were almost done. We were just waiting on a finance deal I could be happy with. I mentioned to Chad if they could let me know soon because I did not want to take a cab home too late. Chad called Zane back into his office and since Zane had not been working with anyone he brought both of us back home. They called about an hour later to tell me I was approved with the terms I needed and picked me up the next day to complete the process. These guys were honest with me through it all ( I actually researched what they were telling me in regards to why they could not get me in the Dodge I wanted that had more than 100, 000 miles on it) and with me getting help resolving some financial issue, they got me the best deal possible and I am very grateful they did not take advantage of my situation and being a female (it is always a little uncertain I will be treated with respect) that is a huge comfort these guys had my best interest at heart. They have certainly have a lifetime customer in me and anyone I can recommend to them, I will! And y'all ask for Zane!

Honest review, how a dealer takes care of you and what s important is the end results. Are they willing to do it right until the end and take car of a customer until they are completely satisfied? That s what s important in today s time is the final results of the service you are provided. I have been going here since my car was new Jose the service manager was always able to go beyond my expectation and left making me feel like I was taken care of like a family member. I appreciate there great customer service , their department takes a lot of pride in making the end results exceptional!!!! Thanks again Jose and John Eagle Honda for your outstanding service.

I had an amazing experience at John Eagle! The gentleman Heath who set up my appt. was punctual and very experienced in what he did. He made my car buying experience fun! He made sure to answer all my questions and didn't try to rush me into something I didn't want. He had everything set up for me prior to me arriving which took so much time out of what could be a long experience. I left feeling great and well taken care of in my new Accord. It was the best car buying experience I've had and I can thank Heath for that. If you are interested in buying a new Honda definitely go to John Eagle and specifically ask for Heath. I recently purchased a Honda Accord from John Eagle Honda and I must say, it was THE BEST car-buying experience I ever had, and that is since I bought my first car in 1973. Unlike most every other experience I have had at car dealerships, I was shown vehicles that were in my price range and in the range of what I wanted to pay in a monthly car note. I WAS AMAZED!! Not only did the monthly payments come out to right around where I wanted them to be, AND that included all of the warranties and add-ons offered with the purchase. I couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience at John Eagle Honda. I will certainly purchase my cars from this dealership from now on!

I never write a review but my experience was so bad I just had to write this. My girlfriend and I are in the market looking to purchase a new car and we are considering a Honda Accord. We went here last week and was greeted by a gentleman named Alex. Right from the begging he was very Rude! We took the car out for a test drive and every time I asked a question about the car he would give me short answers and seemed very annoyed with us. Once we were done with the test drive and went inside, we chatted for a bit and he just bolted. He didn't shake our hands and essentially slammed the door in our face. I don't know if we are setting the bar high because the customer service we received at the BMD dealership was terrific but we we experienced at Honda was unacceptable. We still want to purchase a Honda but we are definitely taking our business elsewhere.

Where do I begin with this place? Possibly the worst experience I ve had at a dealership. I came in yesterday and had an appraisal done on my car. I had originally did an online appraisal through their valet services. I came in and they offered me way below market value and what was already appraised online . When my car is still in average good condition, relatively low milage and has a clean car fax. They first told me that could only give me a certain amount for my car and I counter offered for 1,000 more than what was offered to me originally . They agreed but then said they couldn t adjust the price any higher after that because it was whole sale price? First it was trade in value that was adjusted and then all of a sudden it s whole sale value and couldn t be altered? But, then I was told. I could go to another place and get a quote and they would match the price. Luckily, I have a family member that works in FINANCE at another dealership and I had my car with the VIN number appraised through that dealer and got a higher value estimate by thousands. Although I could ve easily went to that other dealership, I wanted to give Honda a chance. When I mentioned this I was still told again that the price that was offered through them was still whole sale . So now we can t price match? Makes completely no sense. I spoke with someone who first said they were the director of finance and then continued to say thereafter that he was the finance manager so I m not exactly what his real title is. They basically gave me the numbers that they were calculating and wouldn t tell me at what rate they were calculating my payments at. I asked for them to advise me what percent of interest they were calculating my payments at. And then I was told they could not disclose that information. How is that undisclosable information if I m the one buying ? Shouldn t I be able to know how and why these calculations are being made? All I can say is This place does not care about you. I was basically told it is what it is and basically was shown to the door. They ended up telling me what percent they were calculating but, when I asked what else I could do to get the best deal. I was basically told that there was nothing and shown the door and was given my key back. That s inexcusable costumer service. Even if I wasn t agreeing on the payments they should be helping me find something that we can make a deal on. But, not them. I m the buyer and shouldn t feel as if my business isn t of importance. I expressed my frustration with their services and was very upset. I shouldn t have to feel like my business is not wanted or feel like I m not wanting to be helped. I m not going out of my way to make a deal with someone who disregards you as a costumer. I m the buyer and expect some type of options to be presented to me. If an agreement cannot be compromised. You should be valued as a costumer and get the best deal that fits your needs. This is not how the car buying experience should be. This whole experience has tainted my views on Honda and most importantly this dealership. This is NOT how you do business. There were a lot of inconsistencies and just bad costumer service. I don t have any other words to describe this experience other than I left upset and with a headache. Just awful.

Came in to buy a simple FOB housing for a key. African American guy at the parts counter And seems to have no clue even though I handed the actual part that I needed. Comes out 10 mins later to hand me the part. I said I need the housing only. He said he needs to reprogram And cut the key. I said I m only using the housing. The metal part slides out. By the way, I ve swapped housings before. Another guy. Comes out and said it s stuck together. I slid it out and they said I broke it. What a bunch of morons. I was looking to buy a car after this but I guess I ll take my business elsewhere. Oh, I just ordered what I needed for $10. They wanted to charge $150. Really bad service in the parts department. Maybe they were all having a bad day. Either way, that s unacceptable.

I've purchased a brand new 2015 Honda Accord EX-L ...

I've purchased a brand new 2015 Honda Accord EX-L less than two months ago and it has been down hill ever since. It started with minor issues such as scratch, water in the tail light, too large leather seat cover and bubbles in the tint where they stated it would be taken care of. It ended up in the body shop three times due to not getting it right the first time. Two additional retinting due to incorrectly cutting it and worse bubble than before. I added parking sensors on the vehicle and it was returned with chips all over the bumper. They tried to cover it up with paint which was discolored. When returned the first and second time, the bumper incorrectly installed and there was a long scratch on the side of my vehicle. Today I was called saying it was ready and there was still a long scratch along with the bumper placed incorrectly. There were also other issues including rubber sealant on the window coming off . First, I was told it would be taken care of and now, if we remove the rubber, your window will not be the same. Also, the bumper won't be perfect due to man replacing it instead of a machine. Customer service and satisfaction is not what it should be. Never again!

Before I went to the department he approached me and we discussed the vehicle I purchased. He took time out and went over every feature, even those I was not aware of. I found the exact vehicle I wanted, a 2020 Civic, at John Eagle Honda. A very satisfactory price was negotiated with the sales staff. An issue occurred during the financing process which concerned me so, after purchase, I contacted the General manager, Glen Holender. Glen was very helpful and worked with me to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. This vehicle is the fifth Honda we have purchased from John Eagle Honda and we fully intend for our sixth Honda to be from them also.

I really did not like the talking experience with a manager there. He was very RUDE. I am a customer to your dealership to buy a car and all he was talking was I did not want to pay for that, I did not want to pay for this, I do not want to pay taxes,,,etc.
I understand that, sometimes deals will not work for. All he needed to say was he cannot do the deal with the price I asked. But, he said all unnecessary things in a rude way.
I am never going to recommend John eagle to anyone.

Gary Ortega was amazing, kind, honest and a man of his word he said he was going to do everything he can to help us and he did just that, thank you so much Gary Ortega for blessing us with 2 cars.

I just did a chat online with your service department. Gentleman named Brett. All I was wanting to know was if you had any oil change/tire rotation specials. They had sent me a postcard with specials but I couldn t seem to find it so figured I would just ask. He kept requesting my email address. I didn t want to give me my email address and finally I said never mind. So at that point our conversation ended. The chat would no longer let me send any messages. I have purchased four cars from John Eagle over the years. I thought I would try to online chat this time since customer service over the phone is gotten pretty bad but apparently online is an any better.

I just left John Eagle Honda and my rep was Raymond Gibson. He referred to himself as Raymond like everyone loves Raymond, but based on my negative experience here, I do not like Raymond at all. Let's go through the details of my experience today. First off, I told him my financial situation in detail and how I was burned at another dealership. Mind you I was already pre approved with Capital one and he assured me that he can get a deal done and he is positive he can make this happen and asked me to come in. I told him I don't want to come in unless this is a sure thing and he insisted it was. So I drive there with my newborn to give my wife rest and then it starts to rain and he calls me when I'm 2 minutes away that we can meet tomorrow. I told him I'm already near, I felt then like something was wrong. I get to the dealership and the only positive thing is the place looked modern and new and he gave me a bottle of water. As far as everything else, Raymond Gibson Honda Internet sale guy over promises and under delivers. In my case, he didn't deliver anything but BS about being able to help me get a deal. NOT COOL, WASTE OF MY TIME, AND REALLY UPSETTING VISIT!! NO THANKS Raymond Gibson and John Eagle Honda!!

Great experience on purchasing the my NEW 2018 Honda Accord! Sales consultant Cameron Huestis was very professional and VERY knowledgeable of all the vehicles I inquired. I would definitely recommend John Eagle @ NW Freeway for their high standards of professionalism , especially Cameron who made me feel comfortable during this experience. GOOD JOB Cameron!

Average service. One thing was quite disappointed is we are a loyal Honda customer of this dealership since 1990 and got all of our cars from them. There's definitely no bonus for being loyal unfortunately. Sadly the only thing we keep getting the Honda brand (two new CRVs within three months!!!) from this location is because of convenience.... Our latest new CRV-EX-L which we bought a month ago still haven't got the license plate yet...
