First time financing a car. I shopped around at many places. Zane was the best salesman I worked with. Everyone was professional. I went back to get my license plates and I was impressed at the customer service from the whole team, even the service department who offered a free car wash because my car was dirty. My expectations where exceeded by the high quality personalized customer service throughout the entire process! I literally could ask Clayton about anything & he would reply promptly (and patiently because I have a ton of questions!) or find me someone who could help. Moreover, I never felt pressured into buying. In fact, because of this exceptional experience I couldn't wait to buy from JEH! I am now to proud owner of a gorgeous CV-R! Great buying experience! This was our first Honda purchase but I don't expect it will be our last. :) Our salesperson, Sekou Sininta, knew every detail about the CR-V and the differences in trim levels. My husband was looking at the Ridgeline truck while we were waiting and Sekou seemed just as knowledgeable about that vehicle as well. The general sales manager, Greg Cypher, made our purchase progress very quickly. Sekou and Greg were also knowledgeable and informative about the Honda brand and the benefits of purchasing from John Eagle. Thanks.

Worked with Zane Pruett at John Eagle Honda and got a great deal, there was a slight problem on our end but they worked with us and Zane even came in on a Sunday to hand over the keys for the car and made sure everything was okay! Great guy! The car was perfect, the people were great. I recommend you look for him if you want a great, smooth experience buying a car.

We had good experience with John Eagle in the past and decided to start our search for a new car here. We did make it known that we were shopping around and were gonna go with the best deal possible. The sales guy was nice but when the finance guy came out he seemed annoyed by the fact we needed a day before we made a decision. Irritated by our unwillingness to budge and purchase in the moment, he snatched the paper with the financing information from our hands. That was completely unnecessary and rude to say the least. We will not be returning.

I bought Accord in 2015. I recently called Finance department and talked to Mr. Darrell and some other person multiple times to get a copy of GAP insurance contract I purchased from them. They did not sent me a copy of the contract nor called me to follow up on my request. Today I again called and spoke to some one who asked me to talk to Honda Finance to get the copy as John Eagle don't keep the contract after 2 years.

I'm not quite certain where John Eagle finds their employees. but they've got the cream of the crop! I have had such good luck running into people who seem to genuinely care about their job and helping people out. I've spoken about Jamal once before (he's still awesome), but today is about Luis Garcia in the service department. He explained to me everything that needed to be done to my vehicle today, and what may need to occur in the future! He was super pleasant, easy to talk to, and clearly knowledgeable about EVERYTHING!!! I've moved to Dallas since purchasing my car, but I came back just to get awesome customer like I received today with Luis! Thanks a million! See you in the future!

This is my best dealership experience so far. After a pretty bad experience buying my first car, I was treading carefully. From the first step in the door to weeks after purchase, I m getting stellar customer service here. Evans A. and JT are the two that have handled my purchase and trade-in. Both have been extremely helpful with Evans being very friendly and active in helping me out. After a few days, I noticed a small lining was pushed in to the side of the car and I didn t know whether I had a chance at getting it fixed since I had been driving the car for a few days. From the very first call, JT wanted me to bring it in and assured me that I was covered. When I showed up, Evans saw me loitering around looking for JT, he immediately approached me and took me to the service department to get it fixed. Within ten minutes, everything was perfectly fixed and I was going to drive off. At that time, Evans told me to wait so he could get my car washed and cleaned. After a few more minutes, I m writing this review.

That s a long story. So, TL;DR: buy at John eagle not just for great prices but most importantly for peace of mind and awesome customer service.

Brought our Honda Accord to the dealership for blinking engine check and vibration during driving. The car stayed for several days and upon pick up, i payed 1700$. However, I noticed a loud clanking sound on the engine which I did not hear when we first brought the car there to be fixed. The Supervisor understood our concern and the loud clanking sound was fixed. The sound disappear. We appreciate it!

We drove the car home and the engine check light appeared again. Went back to the dealership for the engine check light on and the light was reset. After few days, engine vibration starts again and engine light is on again and blinking.

The point on this issue was we felt that the main problem on the car was not fixed. It is still vibrating and engine check light turns on when car engine is on. The problem is still there! My car end up in the garage till now..I'm tired and frustrated to go back to the John Eagle dealer shop to start explaining again the problem.

Honestly, the worst car buying experience I have ever had. The actual signing of the paper was a struggle. Getting the information so I could have my credit union set up payment was a struggle. I had to drive back at 8pm at night to get the information I needed because no one would answer the phone or return the call the entire day. Picking up my car took me over FOUR HOURS when I called them ahead of time and told them what time I would be there. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from them EIGHT MONTHS ago and have had to take it to service FOUR times for once thing or another. What I will say is their SERVICE department and everyone I have encountered has legitimately been the best I've ever dealt with. If were to ever PURCHASE another Honda it would not be from this dealership BUT I would still come see their service team. Especially Quick Service! The manager over there is beyond friendly, kind and helpful.

I purchased my very first Honda on October 17, 2016. Given my experience, it shall not be my last. The fellow whom helped me was Zane Pruett ("Zane"). Now, I have visited many dealerships, and I have purchased many vehicles. I would say, based upon my experiences, Zane is one of the kindest and considerate individuals you may meet in your next car-buying experience. Stating it succinctly, researching Honda brought me to the dealership's doors, but it was Zane whom held them open for me. He facilitated the transaction evoking throughout the process a sense of knowledge, understanding, and calm demeanor that made the entire car-buying experience, well, enjoyable. We acquired a new Pilot from John Eagle Honda recently and our experience with the process was fantastic! Every person we encountered from John Eagle Honda was friendly and very helpful. Our salesman, Ali, was very knowledgeable about the car we picked, and he explained all its awesome features to us. He introduced us to a contact at the Service Department for future servicing and he gave us a tour of the repair facility. We also financed the car through Honda and that part of the experience went very quickly and smoothly. My sister in Christina bought a very nice used vehicle here. Gary took care of us during the buying process. About 2 weeks after she bought the car she realized that the air conditioner was not blowing cold air. Gary had called her to see how everything was going with the vehicle. She told him her concerns about the AC and he immediately advices her to bring the vehicle in and ask for Erika in the service department. She was wonderful!, Also the department manager was great. Erika is very knowledgeable and pleasant, put us in a 2019 loaner because it was going to take long to find out what was wrong. Kudos to John Eagle Honda and his great personnel.

I had the most perfect experience. I spoke with Able Sixtos over the phone and told him what I was looking for and he had it waiting outside when I got there. He listen to what I wanted and not what he thought would be for me. He was patient and went over everything in detail. He answered all my questions with no hesitation. My recent visit with John Eagle Honda was horrifying. I came in for an airbag recall on my 2010 Honda Accord. Roger Hickey was the service advisor I was given. Erica Mejia helped check me in.

After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for the service to be done, I look at the paperwork given to me, and I notice that it did not match my car or my name. Everything was incorrect. Even though the paper mentioned that it was last inspected by Roger Hickey. Turns out, the incorrect recall was also done to my car. I will need to wait again so they can undo the incorrect recall and apply the correct recall.

Roger and Erica acted like this was something that happens all the time. Roger mentioned that he will fill my tank with gas and then chuckles. They brushed the issue off as if it were no big deal. This visit has made me lose all trust in John Eagle Honda of Houston.

I spoke to the service director Shawn Smith but this issue didn t seem to affect him either.

Questions running through my mind:
-How many hands did this incorrect paperwork go through?
-Why didn t anyone catch the mistake?
-Why didn t the service technician check the paperwork to see if the VIN number matched up before blindly working on the car?
-What if this issue was never caught by me?
-What if this was a bigger issue and my car malfunctioned?

Ali - My advisor at John eagle Honda helped out to get my new civic.. he know what he sell and talented enough to sell any product.. and have keen info before he speaks.. better to say "I will get back to you" than give some Junk answer..

They made the process smooth except an additional credit check.. which is gonna sit on my records for 2yrs and good for nothing.. I would advise/recommend the team.. before even considering for financing option.. you should be checking with ur finance team whether customer current score(orally) is eligible for you.. I felt that wasn't rite what happened.. the way it was pushed away!!

But rest all are better the other dealers I have seen!!

As a previous Honda owner (2001 Prelude; 2006 Civic Si Coupe) I have to mention that this was probably the best experience I have had purchasing a Honda vehicle. I have been looking since early 2018 for a vehicle that would meet my needs in regards to quality and miles to the gallon. Since I previously owned a Civic Si, this was the obvious choice for me. John Eagle had the model and the color that I was looking for. I originally engaged via online and I was pleased with their response and ability to answer all my questions. I did not feel any pressure from the sales team and it really was at my own pace. Can not say the same with other competitors in the area!
Once I was ready to purchase, the team honored the price we had been discussing since early engagement. I was met by the sales team with respect and professionalism. The process was straight forward and I was in and out in a matter of couple of hours - including the test drive.

Evryone at JEH was amazing however, Heath Dixon went above and beyond for my parents who bought their Accord today. My parents are Deaf so I helped with the process to intrepert. Heath answered everyone of my Dads questions and if he wasnt 100% Heath would double check. I am sure my dad asked him about 439 questions ranging from trunk size, the newest technology, engine componets, specific color names, etc. Heath made my parents feel like rock stars! This dealership & it's employees are exceptional. It is NOT the stereotypical "dealership". For once, a dealership that welcomed me & treated with respect & courtesy (a very pleasant change). An important indicator to me about this business is the fact there are a large number of long-term employees who reflect a great deal of pride in "their" dealership & jobs. My requirements were met straightforward & without any pressure or "overzealousness". I have enjoyed my 3 previous Honda cars, but purchasing my 4th Honda through John Eagle was a total different experience. I don't know how many people like sales people in general. Zane created a different sales experience with ensuring that I knew the car before buying it. Zane lent as much time so that this was a comfortable experience. I appreciated his sales perspective over and beyond just being another car sold. I also appreciated that he didn't see that he was selling a car to a female, but a consumer. I think that the environment in the finance department has room to grow.

Purchased vehicle John Eagle Honda Dallas. Delivered Car and Signed Agreement/terms and now they want to higher the payment and interest rate post delivery. I refused to alter the already written terms. Now they texted my cell: "we are reporting it stolen, get ready for the police." Really??? SMH....I wonder what the OCCC will think about them not honoring their agreements and then threatening law enforcement on me because I wont go up in payment and rate!!

I bought a CR-Z at John Eagle Honda almost 8 years...

I bought a CR-Z at John Eagle Honda almost 8 years ago. My car has been the poster child for reliability ever since. I could never sell this car.

Recently I misplaced my master key and had only the spare which I never needed or used. To my dismay, I realized that the dealer had given me a key for a different model vehicle (probably a Civic key) when I purchased the car years ago. It wasn t going to work and cutting/programming a new key was going to be very expensive as I would have to tow the car to the dealer. I made an appointment at the dealership, and my advisor promptly told me that his hands were tied over it because of how old the vehicle was, that the best he could do was to sell me a new key at cost however I would have to tow the car to the dealer myself. Apparently his superiors didn t think it was appropriate to correct a mistake that had happened years ago, likely under someone else s watch. That s when, as a last ditch effort I emailed President & General Partner Mac DeLaup. Not only did he offer to personally pay for my car to be towed to the dealer, he offered to pay for the key if I could prove that it was the incorrect one for the vehicle.

This act of kindness is a complete class act that you cannot find everyday. It s the difference between what makes a business good or average, and great. I ended up finding the master key later, but the fact that the president of a dealer was able to come down to the front lines and provide excellent service to a customer from years ago, speaks volumes about who is at the helm of this company. I can only hope that this story can inspire those who work under him.

As long as I m buying Honda s, which are amazing vehicles, you guys at John Eagle Honda have a customer for life as long as Mac is in charge.

Just to begin with the sales team was very pleasant and attentive. This is the first review I have ever written about any company and just a heads up to anyone requesting a "hassle free volume price" online. Please read the fine print because of dealer add-ons or "dealer adds" as they have it written in the fine print as they are substantial and not included in the quote. Don't make the mistake I did ask for a pic of the window sticker or just ask for a "drive out price". With this all being said they worked with us on the ADD-ON prices and we did with some disappointment purchase the vehicle

He even showed me how to change the tire as I have never done that before. Very polite and kind person! I think he a car salesman at John Eagle. Although this post has nothing to do with the purchase or services at John Eagle, the random act of kindness says a lot about Edgar. The service department was very friendly and helpful. There was an airbag recall on my 2004 Honda and they replaced it. In the process of checking they discovered it also had a recall on the seat belt and replaced it.
