Horrible. Never again will I ever try to mess with this company. It's been over 7 months since they were suppose to replace a window that they have been paid for and we are just in a run around with them. Super frustrating. No way a company like this will last a lot longer if this is how they treat everyone.
Terrible customer service, wont honor there lifetime warranty. Have 5 out of 8 windows that you cant see out and they wont calk ne back. Been trin to talk to there head lady of warrantys and she will never call me back, she is either at lunch or in a meeting. I wouldn't recommend this place to put windows in a dog house. Dont plan on connie or Dana getting back to ya, I have been trin for weeks with no response. They just say that hoping to quit us

We used Jack's to install 15 of our 33 windows. Some of the window sashes warped after a couple years. They did replace the sashes, but it took months of calling to get them to act. Some of the warped sashes they would not replace because when a 200 pound man could struggle and bear all his weight down on the sash, it would still lock.
So now here we are a few years later, and those that they wouldn't replace before can no longer can be locked by the 200 pound man bearing his entire weight on the sash, so they have finally agreed to replace the sashes. The man they sent came in August. It is now Dec 2nd. We have made NUMEROUS calls to get the sash replacement scheduled, and we get a constant list of excuses. "So and so isn't in today", "we can't find you in our system", "the rep checked your windows and they were fine", "now which windows needed replacement?", "we'll call you back". This is the vicious cycle we get everytime we call.
Their customer service is just plain bad. They may eventually back up their product in the end, but it takes a lot of work to get them to follow up on their "guaranteed" products. And they clearly hope you'll get frustrated and just go away.

Buyer Beware! 1 star is too generous. Jack s Wholesale Windows continually violates Federal Regulation Title 16 Chapter 1, Subchapter B, Part 239.4 If an advertisement uses lifetime, life, or similar representations to describe the duration of a warranty or guarantee, then the advertisement should disclose, with such clarity and prominence as will be noticed and understood by prospective purchasers, the life to which the representation refers. I have made repeated attempts to have defective products replaced or repaired under a lifetime warranty, only to be refused by the company. I only have notes on calls going back to August 2014 but have had issues with door jambs since 2010 or 2011. The most recent contact was July 25, 2020 ongoing since last summer. I need two door jams and thresholds with sill pans replaced or preferably refunded so that I can have the job done correctly. There is also damage to my wall. They refuse to do anything at all, blaming it on Home Guard, which they now tell me only covers frames for 5 years, never a lifetime warranty as they told me.
I paid just under $11,000 for windows and doors with written contract stating there would be a lifetime manufacture and installation warranty. The door contract reads in part, 2.) Manufacture (3) Homegard doors, ...to be new Construction Style...3.) Issue Manufacturers Lifetime Warranty- Jacks Lifetime Warranty on Installation. The window contract reads similarly, 3.) Manufacture And install one Gorrel 7004 4 Lite bow...Increase opening for bow to 8 one way. 4.) Issue Manufacturers Lifetime Warranties, transferable including accidental glass breakage, non pro-rated, no deductible. Jacks Lifetime installation warranty...
The company refuses to honor the contract. They told me they won t cover any rot from water damage. The photo was taken last summer before I began my last attempt to get them to do what they promised. It's much worse now.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. We ordered a window from them on April 25th 2018, it is now June 14th 2019 and we still do not have our window. Contrary to what the salesmen told us, scheduling an installation is not simple and they will not work with you to find a time that is best for you. We would get calls in the afternoon saying they would be coming the following morning to install the window, less then 24 hours notice. The one time we were able to move our schedules around to accommodate an install they called us an hour before the scheduled installation time to let us know they had to cancel our install. Even after speaking to the Operations Manager, Dana, this issue has not been resolved, over a year later. We paid this company a lot of money and have nothing to show for it. DO NOT purchase windows from this company unless you want to waste your time and money.
This place needs to be fixed up. Instead of paying for all the commercials they should put some money into their apprentice.
Life time warranty means nothing to Jack's windows, I will never recommend them.

I had my whole home replaced with jacks windows (25 windows). It was done in the middle of winter about 6 years ago so I was concerned I was going to have major issues with the cold, I was wrong they were very quick and installed very well in two days. About a month ago I noticed I have a large crack in one of my big picture windows (I think from the house settling) I called them and they told me no problem we will have one made and brought out in three weeks. They called me two weeks later and put my window in with no problems at all. I will recommend jacks wholesale windows to anybody they were easy to deal with.
This company is horrible! Install was ok but there was an issue with my slider door at install and on Oct 2018 finally got an service guy finally came in July 2019 and said and noted on service paperwork that the sill was bent and Dana that is running the company refuses to replace it. Dana has not returned my calls, I received this information from the employee that schedules. I have called and left several messages and no return call. Do not let this company do work for you, the Life Time warranty means nothing.

I am very satisfied with my windows. First time they have been replaced in over 30 years. Can finally see clearly outside. Installer was very prompt. Will recommend Wholesale Windows.
After an hour of bs i got a quote that was pretty high for buy 1 get 1 free. Seems i was getting nothing for free. I decided to check out thier reviews before making a decision. Wow terrible reviews about the lifetime warranty. If they can't back up the warranty what good are they. No thanks.

This is an edit of an earlier review! We absolutely loved the windows once installed. They did a great job not breaking our 100+ year old molding!
We did have a few issues with the seals being broken. But we have since contacted the company and they have done a great job working on replacements. It was a bit difficult to get ahold of someone but once we did they have been great about fixing those issues. So great that we have a few windows that we didn't get replaced the first time and we will be using them to replace those too.

Several years ago we contacted Jack's for replacement windows; a representative came- we ordered windows for the enitre house-
The installers came, completed their job and left. Since then we have had problems and when we contact the company no one wants to deal with us- We are told to come to their warehouse- They do not care about customers once the check has been written. The new Regional Manager and the other woman who works for her are rude and totally unhelpful- I would never recommend this company. I give it a one star and that's generous and yet it is showing three stars

I just had 3 windows replaced....LOVE THEM..LOVE THEM.The salesman was not pushy,answered all my questions and everything was set up in a timely manner. The installation was neet,fast and the guys were very polite. I am so very satisfied with my new windows.I plan on getting more done with Jack's Wholesale Windows.

First they were supposed to install the windows in october and it s now november. I took the day off of work for installation. I also removed trim etc etc. they were supposed to be here from 9am - 11am. Nobody showed up so I called. They said 11-2. Nobody showed up so we called again. They were going to look into it and call is right back. Nobody called us back. We called again and they were going to get somebody here. No show again.
We will be cancelling or order.
EDIT: Now they are saying that they will not refund our money and in addition will be charging us for the two custom windows. These guys seriously need a check. We'll be calling the news outlets on this one. Jerked around way too much.
My mother had all of her windows replaced (14 windows) about 5 years ago. Within 1 year mold has grown in between the panes of glass in half of them. At the time My mom had an idea of what windows she wanted but the salesman talked her out of those and convinced her to buy the ones she had installed. When she contacted Jacks about the spots, they told her the company that made the windows went out of business and there is nothing they can do to cover the warranty. My mom is now trying to sell her house with windows that are 5 years old and you can see out of only half of them. Windows are supposed to increase the value of your house. What value do you think she will get out of those windows? Thanks to Jacks her house value has decreased. I drive by Jacks shop everyday on my way to work and I hate seeing his building. Stay away unles you want to become angry with Jacks!!!
The salespersons, the administrators and the installers were concerned and courteous.
Windows are terrible. Look dirty but its between the glass. Wouldnt replace them. Friend had problems with theirs also. Beware!
I do not recommend Jack s Wholesale Windows to Anyone!! Do not go with this company. Please do not even consider them! DO NOT! I wish I would have read reviews before we hired them to install our windows! We have been waiting for months for our job to be completed and we still do not have a date of completion! They just give you excuses after excuses!
Was very impressed by the great customer service there.
Installation went fine and looked great. The problem is now the inner pane of many of my windows have fogged. The lifetime warranty is only good if the window company is still in business. Jack's uses shady companies that go out of business and then doesn't stand behind the so called "lifetime warranty". Stick with name brand windows and save yourself the hassle in the future.
I got 3 windows and 1 patio door abou two years ago . I got a quote from all windows for the whole house , but i could only aford those at first .
I decided not to get the rest of the windows for several reasons
the sales person said yes to every question i asked just to get the sale i guess

When i ordered my windows and door , the sales person said that if my wife thew something at me and missed and brake window , the will replace for free.
We recently got hit by a thunderstorm and a branch destroyed the window . I called jacks whole sale window and the still havent given me an answer .

The one star is only because you cant give a zero star. This company is terrible. Once we gave them 1/3 of the money, they asked for the remainder owed. The contract clearly stated that a second 1/3 was due at a specific time and then the remaining 1/3 due after installation. They actually called and asked us to pay the entire bill before the windows arrived or installed. When my husband said no, they became combative (verbally). Not even 2 years and one window has a broken seal, and guess what... the lifetime warranty only works if the glass company is still in business. Still waiting for phone calls from these people. Horrible company. Don t do business with them!!

I am amazed at the reviews Jack's has gotten on Google. On Angie's List the company has a D. They installed 28 windows in my home. The installers broke a window during the install, and I had to withhold payment to get it fixed. I received a call from the company threatening my credit if I did not make the final pymt before the repairs were done. Ridiculous. At a later date, they did replace some defective windows...with a lower quality window! I recently called to have other windows with broken seals replaced under their "Lifetime Guarantee" and was told the manufacture had gone out of business, and they would not honor the Guarantee. BEWARE this company is a rip off!
We bought our all of our windows for our home from Jack's and they have been so good to us throughout the years. My slider doors have needed rescreening and they did them for minimal cost. Their Customer Service is top notch and I wish more companies were like them. We have never had an unpleasant experience with them and the quality of their windows is excellent. Very satisfied customer.
Really appreciated Andrew's attitude. I felt respected and his suggestion that I have the glass replaced on a window instead of him selling a new one was awesome! Followed thru and fixed me up.
We have only had troubles with this company since signing a contract with them. It took 4 months to get our windows installed, there are scratches on the windows and nails sticking out of the wood, the windows didn t fit into the frame, which they did not convey to us until installation day. They keep cancelling every time they are scheduled to come out and fix these mistakes, which has now been 2 months since installation. I would highly discourage someone using this company.
Your television ad set in the corn field is much better, and Jack's voice is calmer and friendlier than in previous ads. He seems more approachable and not scary as in previous ads.
They came out and gave me an estimate and were on time. That is the only good thing. The estimate was almost 3x higher than my lowest estimate, and 3k higher than my highest estimate. I also had "free" installation, as per their ad, "free" is 15% discount. BEWARE do your homework and get many estimates .

I have used jacks spent alot of money , I have repeatedly called on warranty work. Just a run around., lifetime warranty is B.S.... No service after check cashed. They dnt want to pay a sub to come back fix another subs work. Takes from there bottom line!! Call them for a window sale jony on the spot! Call them for service good luck!

DID NOT PASS SMBA INSPECTION!
New windows in October, They did not set up permits for state and after 2 attempts and many complaints they had the state come to inspect in December (past dated inspections) they failed the inspection from SMBA.
Please note they tried to get away with only the outside being inspected ONLY and gave me no notification by writing or on the door of the inspection. Advised the SMBA that this is not a valid inspected unless notice was served. I demanded it be reinspected in side and out for a FAIR evaluation. It then flunked the inspection.
My windows leak and are unbalanced. I will want to return windows if they can not get this correct.
There are so many other companies in Michigan please keep looking.
I have all my windows from Jack, installed on my almost zero energy house. The windows are performing great and the energy savings claimed by the manufacturer are real (low E.and so on..) so I have huge energy savings and the windows contribute to that in a big %. Get high quality windows from Jack cause they know how to get you good quality at affordable/competitive prices. Would highly recomend to others, and would get more windows from Jack for my next project.
Terrible! They put 11 windows in for the previous homeowner. During the warranty period 6 of the 11 windows failed. When I bought the house I called Jacks to have them warranty service the windows. They said the window company went out of business and they didn't have a contract with me so they could not warranty service the windows. I still needed the windows fixed so I paid $70 to have someone from their company come out and measure the failed windows for replacement. They ordered the windows which I paid $1,000 for and then waited 2 months for them to arrive. When the installer came to change the pains (for which I was charged another $70 for) we noticed that the windows that they ordered were double paned and the windows we have are triple paned. I had the installer call the office and he was told I would have to pay the difference for the triple pane and wait another 6-8 weeks. She said they might be able to get them faster but I would have to pay. I had requested that the installer change the windows to the double pane now since the others were so bad you can't even see through them so we can at least see through the windows while we wait 2 months. Sadie said no they would not do that. So I paid for them to do a job, they messed up (which happens to everyone) but then they won't even help to make that mistake right. They could have easily had their installer spend 1 hour at my house making the change and I would have been ok waiting and even paid the difference (though not happily). So I agreed to keep it as is with the double paned windows. I can't believe the "customer service" of this company! Do yourself a favor and find literally anyone else. These are not ethical people that run the company and will not support you if something goes wrong. Oh, also the guy who measured the window measured one of them wrong and now I have one pane that is the wrong size in a window sash.
I happened to see a commercial across the screen this morning for Jacks Wholesale Windows that prompted an online search for this organization. WE WILL NOT CONSIDER NEW WINDOWS OR RECOMMEND JACKS WHOLESALE WINDOWS to others. Following is the response we recieved a couple of years ago from Jacks Wholesale Windows regarding our inquiry to their sales agreement of a Lifetime Warranty. Jennifer reported that "the manufacturer of windows had gone out of business therefore the warranty is invalid." The solution she offered was to schedule someone to come to our home to make an assessment. She reported that "there is a $150.00 fee to go out to the house; they will provide you a material charge quote." We followed up w the Better Business Bureau. Lisa of Jacks Wholesale Windows explained "unfortunately if the manufacturer goes out of business and files bankruptcy that warranty becomes voided." The solution offered was "we can order the glass for you from the manufacturer at your cost and we will install the windows at no charge." Again, WE WILL NOT CONSIDER NEW WINDOWS OR RECOMMEND JACKS WHOLESALE WINDOWS to others.

Great windows I have had no problems with the windows. Jacks crew were very efficient and professional.. They also did a great clean up when they were finished with the install. I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks Douglas Porter
Jack's workmanship and pricing was fine, but read the fine print about warranty.
They DO NOT stand behind their so called "lifetime" warranty.
Actually Jack's does not warranty anything. It is the manufacturer of the windows they sell you that warranty's the product.
We have a houseful if windows that we now cannot see thru due to "energy" film clouding up.
Had the Jack's rep come out, and was told the window maker went out of business, so no warranty.
Jack's would however gladly sell us new windows.
How convenient for Jack's.........
The installers GREG & JOE are the ones that earned the five stars. If it wasn't for them I was ready to cancel my Windows! They are very kind and very good at what they do.
Place is a joke suppose to be lifetime windows yea right. No warranty at all on windows just installation. All windows r junk. The installers did a terrible job. Tried to order a new replacement having to pay for a warranty window and then it never came in for 4 months still didnt send money back to me that we paid for replacement. West company ever to get windows. Totally got ripped off
