Mario was very pleasant to work with on my first tattoo and I am beyond thrilled with the end result! The rest of the staff was also incredibly friendly! Shout out to Emily as well who was very kind and had an infectious personality.
Important things to know:
You will get a great tattoo and an artist that is tailored to your desired style tattoo (so be sure exactly what you want when you contact them),
The staff and owners are incredible people on the inside and I saw many of the barbers interacting with people in a very familial fashion,
The shop doubles as a barber shop and coffee shop so do treat yourself to a cup or a cut.
If you have anything to ask whether it be a question of pricing or local what abouts don t hesitate to ask. Whatever you think you know about the shop at face value only shreds to pieces at the intense and enduring core of its human kindness and compassion. Seriously, I wrote a less than perfect review and found myself eating crow once I reflected on my experience. There was a miscommunication which I own as my failure to ask about a change in design, and pricing surrounding that change. Once discussed it was quickly resolved and with vast amounts of thoughtfulness and consideration. Thank you for the tattoo and the altruism.
Got my tragus and third lobe pierced. The studio is very nice, clean and the stuff is really friendly. Amazing quality for the price.
The artists are really good, they have clear styles of their own and found the team very approachable and informative. I have chosen to have a tattoo by Diana as I really like her style, I'm traveling from London just to get a tattoo by her!

I haven't actually gotten my tattoo yet, but The Ink Factory has been fantastic to work with. I am flying over this week from Tennessee in the United States. They've been really good about maintaining contact and allowing me to basically do a consult and make an appointment all online. For me, this made things really convenient. I love for things to be digital...gives me a little more faith in a company knowing that they are keeping up with technology. I'm excited to get there and work with them in person! If they are as friendly and professional in person as they are online, I know that things will go wonderfully on Thursday!
I got my nose pierced here last week. I was quite nervous but once I got inside, they were so friendly and I felt really comfortable. The piercing was super quick and they answered all my questions. Would easily go back here in the future!
Got a black tattoo (Icelandic rune) on my right thigh last year. The tattoo artist (a guest artist from - I think - Italy, did an amazing job. It was my first tattoo and I felt to be in very good hands there. Gonna get another one next week. Wow.

Highly highly recommend this studio. There are so many truly amazing artists there. Have gotten 4 tattoos there and many piercings and don t have a single complaint. The staff are incredible friendly and helpful, you can t fault them. Contact via email is always great, they re always willing to answer any questions and tend to reply fairly quick.
The ink factory is great. I was visiting Dublin from the states and I emailed the shop a couple weeks before my trip. They were always prompt and helpful in their replies. They were able and willing to help me come up with a unique design for my tattoo. Would definitely recommend!

Some general advice when looking back to my experience:
1. Do research by yourself beforehand, and leave enough time before the final tattoo appointment for you to reflect and rethink.
2. Research the tattoo artists and their styles thoroughly. Don t leave it all to recommendations from front desk.
3. Double check the price and figure out how it s calculated, by total time spent or something else.
4. Be vocal about your feelings and feedback before, during the tattooing and after.
When you get all these checked, Ink factory would be a great place for the final tattoo!
Just walked in to book my first tattoo and I m already happy with the experience. The guy at the desk was very friendly and calmed me down as I am nervous about getting a tattoo. We were able to get in same day.
Daughter had a Labret & I had a Helix piercing & Patrick was BRILLIANT! Very impressed, he was quick & precised - making the whole thing as pain free as it was possible. Can't wait to get inked there next week!
Ink Factory has been so helpful! This is my first tattoo so I was unsure how to go about booking an appointment and everything, but they have made it so easy for me. They respond quickly to emails and outlined everything I needed for my appointment!

Brilliant place, unreal tattoos, artists beyond compare. Myself and my girlfriend were inked up by Anderson at the ink factory. It was a busy location and we were expecting to wait a long while, but to our surprise through the busy front desk they saw us very fast and we felt well taken care of. Very pleasurable and easy experience getting my industrial piercing, very friendly and experienced staff who were really reassuring throughout my time there. The man doing my piercing had hygiene greatly in mind as he changed his latex gloves after each step of the piercing, I would highly recommend the ink factory to everyone thinking of getting a piercing done in Dublin.

Such a quirky and alternative shop where they sell tea/coffee, offer haircuts, piercings and obviously tattoos. Got my first tattoo with Maja and she was great - I loved the final piece and it only took 2.5 hours! They re so nice here.
This is the only place I will get piercing done, and the only place I would bring my son to the get pierced. Super clean, super focused on hygiene. Cello is a great guy, easy to talk to and will put you at ease with his calm manner. My son was super nervous but he had a great experience and because Cello is so good at what he does there is minimal pain, given that you are effectively punching a hole in your body! The queues can be long but that is the sign of a good quality piercer. Also great value, 25 no matter what piercing.

My wife got her last tattoo here. It was done by Keith. From start to finish the process was so professional and the place is super clean. Keith was awesome aside form his excellent tattoo skills he was just cool to get along with and the other artists in the room Leo and Agne were really nice and chatted away too. Can not reccomend this place enough.

Came on a girls holiday in October last year and came across the ink factory and it was the best part of the trip! We went back to the UK with some Ireland related souvenir tattoos. Recently came Back to Dublin again and went straight to book in some more, a new favourite tattoo place!
The staff were so welcoming. Booking my appointment was such a breeze and they kept communicating with me the whole time.

My husband and I were looking for a place to get our first tattoos together on our honeymoon. When we found this place, we were so pleasantly suprised by how inviting the space and staff were and booked immediately. The consultation process has been wonderful. This place has such lovely staff who made us feel very much at ease during the planning of our first tattoos! Highly recommend!
Booked online without a problem. Customer service and online chat is great, and sorted out all the details about the design and such with them via email before the appointment. Very sound and did a really good job with my first ever tattoo. Very happy.

The place is very clean. They take good care about the needles they use. They are always clean and make sure that clients are comfortable and let us feel cosy.
Sandor did my tattoo as a walk in, did an awesome job and it was nice and quick. Reasonable price too, sent them a message beforehand and they were quick to respond. Usually I would research the artists beforehand but the standard of tattoos coming out of this place is so high, I knew I'd be happy regardless. Will defiantly be back.
So far, as I haven't done my tattoo yet, I'm super happy with the professional treatment I've gotten from them. Since the beginning getting full information, advice and flexibility to get the consultation and tattoo appointment from the manager, then from the artist. I will tattoo myself with Lucas and I must say I'm super excited about it as I loved the job he shows. I will update this review after I'm done with the art!!

So I decided to get my first tattoo. Their shop is refreshing and a nice place to chill too. Very accommodating and pleasant people as well as helpful in deciding who will do my tattoo. Booked them right away because many clients were booked before me. Now I am waiting for the draft of my tattoo based on how I wanted it to be made.

Had a couple of consoltations at The Ink Factory. Extremely helpful and excellent advice given. Ian was very patient and showed me options for what I wanted. Would highly recommend go to these experts.
I was curious about this place that does coffee, tattoos, piercings, and haircuts all in one, so I decided to come into the Ink Factory during my time in Dublin. This place is awesome! Everything is so organized and blends together really nicely. I only went in for a coffee, but was fascinated with the tattoo artists working in the back.
The woman at the front desk made me a very fine cappuccino. Admittedly, the drinks menu is a bit limited, but I will definitely be coming back for another coffee, perhaps a haircut as well.
It's a cool little place, would recommend!

Was very disappointed.
Was planning to go home this year and have it done back in my country, but stucked in Ireland so decide to have it done in here.
Sent picture of what I was looking for to get tattood.
Few weeks later came for consultation.
First problem was that I was told by tattoo artist that dont do copies.
I have to say I completely understand him and respect but why no one said anything when I sent that picture??
Why waste the time on both sides?
Biggest shock was when I was told that the tattoo would be for 2 and half day or even might be 3 days!!!!! Thats waaay too much over, what I was told and expected.
And no way that it should take that long.
But the final price I have say shocked me!
Deffo overpriced as hell.
From daily charge you sudenly got twice that price on top?
He asked whats my bugget so seems he was willing to help but this was just complete disappointment to me.
Why bother send pics and details and given completely different details?
I thought some of artists already looked at it.
Was sad I had to left but at least saved good few .
Other than that it looked good in there and the staff seems OK and receptionist or front desk guy was OK.
Decided to wait and have it done home.
