The staff has been incredible in working with me and my girlfriend in setting up our appointments while visiting Dublin. Even after having set-up the appointment and speaking with the artists about our original tattoo ideas, our artists were open to speaking with us at a second appointment so that we could make changes to the original concepts

I m scheduled to get a piece done here in a few days and the shop has only been polite and open in their communication. The portfolio of this shop is very impressive and I m so excited to get my piece.

I got inked by Felix Anderson a few times. Although he didn't like my first design he tattooed it anyway and did a very good job.

Awesome experience, they were able to squeeze me and my mom in for a walk in at the end of the night. Our artist, Maya (sp?) was the best, very quick and professional. The tattoos came out great, would highly recommend. Shop is cash only, just FYI

I trusted this studio for a conch piercing in view of the positive reviews and I was very disappointed!
It's all go there, they have a series of appointments and don't take the time to advise you, or explain you how to take care of your new piercing. Mine was done in a rush and never healed! It hurt for months and then I started to see a keloid appear. I had to take the piercing out because of the pain and then it got infected. I went to their 2 studios in Dublin and both refused to take me because they were too busy doing piercings (on a Tuesday), without any advice, and asked me to come back 5 days later during the weekend...
I now have a big scar for life and have been forced to go to another salon which welcomed me very well, advised me and helped me to treat the infection.
If you want a quality piercing that doesn't damage your cartilage I don't recommend Ink Factory!

Nice receptionists on the day. Complicated booking process but nice emails to try to help clarify. Was exciting day for me and my friend to get first tattoos but that was tinged somewhat with unfriendly reception we got from tattooists. Session was supposed to include a consultation - this didn t really happy and I think if we weren t mature women who asserted ourselves we would have both got tattoos we didn t want (different designs, sizes, colours etc). Tattooist was moody and difficult to negotiate with - at one stage my friend asked the receptionist to speak to him as we didn t feel comfortable. When doing my tattoo, he literally slapped my foot out of the way... no chat, no discussion. Tattoo is fine - done in about ten minutes. Perfectionist in me think it could be sharper in spots. Overall we are glad we got them done but not sure recommend ink factory as pricey at 100 euros, uncommunicative tattooist (which you don t want when getting a permanent mark on your skin!) and made to feel it was only for serious tattoo people...!

Update: great and immediate response from managers in ink factory. Very happy with them and their resolution on this issue. Based on their response would be happy to use them again.

Really friendly staff great atmosphere to the place

Popped in today to purchase an upper cartilage stud. Swept away to the piercing room in seconds where I met with the most delightful owner of 2 cats and a doggo (wish I d asked his name!). We chatted fur babies while he manually (and extremely hygienically) swapped out my studs. Strolling to the cash register to pay, he told me it was on the house.

This absolutely made my day, what a gent and what a fine establishment! The place was rocking with customers, and tatts were in full flow. I d heard incredible things about this place previously, so this will be my port of call for my long planned virgin ink.

Absolutely adore the place and people involved in this beauty of a business.. they take care of my ink and hair and the coffee s to fricking die for.. perfection in all areas

Went in for my consultation today and was beyond happy with how they treated me. They were helpful, gave suggestions to changes and booked me in immediately to my convenience. Cheers lads!

So I wanted to get a tattoo before I left Dublin. I emailed the owners and got an answer back less in an hour, which was great btw. They told me to pop into the store to book an appointment. We had to wait a bit, but the people I talked to were really nice. They listened to my idea and were able to find a time for me. They were really helpful and I'm excited to go in next week to get my first tattoo :)

I had a tattoo done on Wednesday during my holidays in Dublin, it was a very simple one, even though I had a very nice experience there. Niamh was very nice and professional, and also the lovely receptionist who was on shift on Tuesday afternoon, both of them very good customer service and plus I love my tattoo. Thanks guys!

Went to The Ink Factory to get my first tattoo appointment and the staff was just amazing. They were really helpful and reassuring without being pushy. Atmosphere's very relaxed and the artists are incredible, would also recommend them if you're looking to get a piercing!

Incredible staff, so welcoming and were able to go beyond my expectation. My tattoo was an idea and they were able to make it perfect. If there is a tattoo place I would recommend, the ink factory would be the one. I flew from the Netherlands to get a piece done and I am thrilled with the experience. A+++

I booked my appointment almost a week before I would be in Dublin and these guys were great to coordinate with. Iain did an amazing job and I'm absolutely impressed. It is everything I was wanting and more!

I had a consultation with Leo and the staff were extremely helpful and chatty. The shop is very clean and Leo himself was excellent. I can't wait to start my piece. I'll update as it goes

Got my first tattoo here while studying abroad in Dublin and had a great experience!

I went in to get a small tattoo that I drew myself and Jamie was so cool and did a really good job with it, couldn't be happier with the finished tattoo, would highly recommend him and anyone in Ink factory, every artist is unique in their own way and all are really amazing artists and people

They've been nothing but accomodating and friendly and all the staff have been so helpful and communicative throughout the entire tattoo process. I'll 100% be back for future pieces :)

I regularly trim/shape up my beard and I just have to say thank you. I'm also working on a tattoo with them soon ... post-tattoo pictures :)

My husband and I are scheduled to get tattoos at The Ink Factory on the 17th. We are from the states and will be traveling to Europe for our honeymoon and ending in Dublin.
The communication has been amazing!! It s hard to schedule something like this so far away, but they were so patient, answered all of my questions and made sure we were on the same page.
We are very much looking forward to getting tattooed here!

Lovely place. Staff were very nice and the artist I got was great for discussing what kind of tattoo I wanted and the best size, location etc. I booked online in advance and got plenty advice about aftercare from the staff and in the follow up email, which I appreciated since it was first tattoo!

Highly recommend the place (and Mario's inkwork!) for tattoos.

Anytime I've been in the ink factory I have always had a warm welcoming feeling from everyone, I've had piercings and tattoos here previously and I recommend them to anyone looking to get piercings or tattoos. They also make pretty amazing coffee too.

I had my bellybutton pierced here a few days ago and was extremely happy with the overall experience. I have had several other piercings done in other shops but this is by far the best.

My piercer couldn t have been more professional, knowledgeable or friendlier. I felt very comfortable as it was clear I was in safe hands. The piercing was done seamlessly and I was in and out of the shop promptly.

The whole asthetic and vibe in the shop is great, I would highly recommend for anyone considering a piercing in Dublin city. Oh and all piercings are only 25, dreamy!!

I have a tattoo booked with Iain. My consultation was in depth, and I appreciated the artist's input on the best possible placement for my piece and how he worked with me to come to the best conclusion possible. The place is very clean and professional, and I've looked on Facebook at every artist who works here's portfolios, and their talents are next to none. The girl who booked me in was lovely, and leading up to today their communication via email has been spot on. I'd definitely recommend anybody to get tattooed here.

I got a (lower helix) piercing about four weeks ago. Unfortunately it was really swollen to the point that the jewelry was to small. When I was in Dublin on a trip I went in with the plan to get a bigger one and replace it myself (because i was really scared of the pain). Luckily the guy repeatedly advised me to let him do it. It did hurt a bit but I am convinced I couldn't have done it myself. He assured me it wasn't infected and it would soon heal. Within a few hours my ear was less painfull and swollen. Great service! He could've just take the easy road let me leave with only a bigger piercing. Instead he took the time to help. Really happy!

The process of booking my tattoo was so easy, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! I always knew I wanted my first tattoo to be done at the Ink Factory, having followed their page on Instagram ages ago and seeing the amazing content they post there. My boyfriend also wants to be tattooed there so I surprised him with a voucher for the Ink Factory for Christmas! Couldn t recommend them enough.

Warm. Friendly hotel. Our room unfortunately looked out into car park but kilkenny castle right beside hotel. Everything in walking distance. Can leave your car there and go shopping.
