I actually had a pretty great experience buying the car. The salesman was very knowledgeable, and the staff was courteous. They weren't pushy and appeared to be straight-forward. If it weren't for a major screw up, it would have been the absolute best buying experience I've ever had; I even had a friend buy a car from them.

To make a long story short, they waited over a month to send the payoff for my trade-in, and then asked me to cough up the money to even out their mistake, causing me to be delinquent on a vehicle I no longer owned, and they had already sold... The result was fee's being assessed to me and of course money drafted out of my account. The bank has given me the money back, so that's great.

But it gets better: When I confronted the salesman about the tomfoolery that was occurring, he hung up on me! But not after telling me to bring cash (the money to clear the payoff since it accrued interest in the time they didn't pay it off) to "trade" for a certificate of origin I THOUGHT I needed. So, I went to speak with the salesman's manager, and asked that someone explain what happened. He flatly refused stating that no one that does the papers were there. Then I demanded he call them so it could be situated that day; no stalling. He walked away. So, I reported them to Ford Corporate, since they refused to cooperate.

Make sure that you get your car looked at Thoroughly before you purchase..they don t do anything that they say they where gonna do.. I purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade from them know that I only test drove the vehicle once I didn t know the cruise control didn t work nor did lightning on the running board or the tv In the back didn t work .. needless to say I called right after purchase and was told no problem make an appointment and we ll take care of it.. well Steve the used car manager told that me that they were not fixing anything and I was as is .. ok so I spent 1000 to fix cruise control issue which comes out that they put an aftermarket windshield in it which caused the cruise control not work 459 to fix light in the step and 583 to fix tv in the back to work .. now right is right and wrong is wrong I will be taking them to court simply because I feel that they should have fixed those issues prior to buying or me buying it and tell the salesman immediately after I pulled off lot I will never purchase anything from them so beware of the scammers they aren t what they seem to be!!

If you come here, see Scott Nosser! He was very knowledgeable and friendly, making the experience easy and exciting! He took the time to show me every feature and answer any question I had about my vehicle. When the day arrives where I need another vehicle, I will definitely be stopping by here again!

I worked with Zhi Zhong when I purchased my Focus ST new. After the first day of taking prices, Zhi worked with me over the phone to get the price to a point where I was happy. This was nice because I live about an hour away and didn't want to drive back to negotiate.

Inventory is lacking. Salesmen and manager are rude and cold. It s clear they are more concerned with their commission than the people they serve. The website is inaccurate. Save yourself the trouble and visit another location. Avoid Collinsville Jack Schmitt Ford!

The process of buying my car itself wasn't bad at all. I made an appointment a couple days prior, but the salesperson was picked the day-of and didn't have a chance to prepare for the used car I was looking at. He was very nice, though, and helpful, so I felt the process of purchasing the car was as enjoyable as it could be.

My problem came with their single point of failure afterwards. The used car I purchased only had one key, and generally they will give you two. They have the opportunity to get the key made, however they have one individual that is ONLY at their location on Mondays from 10-11am. That's it. I took off of work, showed up at the location, and everyone that I talked to seemed clueless about the person that makes the keys, and she never showed up. She never called, and the dealership never called her to find out why she didn't show. I made arrangements to take off of work the next week, and was advised by the dealership to call beforehand, which seemed fine. I did so, and everyone was again clueless whether or not the lady would show up, what I was talking about, etc. I ended up just showing up again during the times she was supposed to be there, and once again she was neither there, nor did anyone I spoke to (and I talked to several people) seemed to have any idea what I was talking about, why she wasn't there, and there was no accountability about this third party vendor they use and holding THEM accountable for the no call, no show she performed. I informed my salesperson that this was unacceptable, since they're basically saying that this individual's time, who isn't responsible enough to keep an appointment or communicate when she cannot, is more important than my own. Since then, my salesperson has been very apologetic, but has not managed to find another option other than taking off MORE of my personal time off work. Upon my request, he gave me the phone number for this individual, and I'll get to figure out on my own, without the help of the management from this dealership, how to get my second key, roughly 2.5 months after I purchased the car.

Needless to say, while the original process of buying the car was fine, the experience I've had afterward has had me frustrated and unhappy.

Edit: Roughly 3.5 months after I purchased the car, I finally received my second key! It took me going in again and speaking to a manager (I had to ask, no one offered to make this happen) and suggesting to him (again I made the suggestion, he offered no actual solutions) that they provide a rental so I could leave my car there to get the key but still get to work and back. This they did, at no charge to me... so they were untimely helpful, but begrudgingly so and not very friendly about it. Overall a very meh experience.

If we could give negative stars for this review, we would. We are extremely disappointed with everyone associated with this dealership, from the salesperson, to the sales manager, to the service manager, to Jack Schmidt. We were sold a brand new, defective car which broke in their parking lot before we even had a chance to take it home. We drove it 100 miles after they supposedly fixed the problem, but it broke again and no one has ever been able to fix it. Jack Schmidt told us it was no longer their problem and that it would be our responsibility to contact Ford to deal with the issue ourselves. Twenty-one weeks later, with the help of another dealership, we were finally able receive a replacement vehicle. Buyer beware of Jack Schmidt Ford.

I had a great experience buying a used car from Jack Schmitt Ford. As a first time car buyer, I had heard horror stories about buying a car. After meeting my salesperson Alex Garcia, I knew that I had no reason to worry. Alex was extremely helpful and available by text to answer any questions I had in the days leading up to me purchasing the car. He made me feel at ease and never pressured me into buying. In addition to Alex being such a delight to work with, Chris in financing deserves to be mentioned. He never pressured me into buying anything I didn't want. He explained all the numbers and was even able to save me a few bucks on registering my new car. All things considered, I would highly recommend checking out Jack Schmitt Ford for your next vehicle purchase.

I had a few special requests upon delivery and when the car arrived at the dealership, Clint made sure that my requests were accommodated and even sat with me to set up the car's infotainment system. Made the switch from Honda to Ford yesterday. I've always been a huge Honda fan but I am in love with my new 2018 Ford Focus. It actually has a lot more features that are beneficial to me than my Honda Accord did. My salesperson was Crystal Cannon and she was super amazing! She actually picked 5 cars that she thought would fit my need and we narrowed it down to 3. She let me test drive all 3 and then let me drive the EcoSport again so I could make my decision. She knew all the extra features that you wouldn't know where even there and explained everything to me.
I was so nervous yesterday about getting approved and she kept me calm and collected and let me know she was gonna work with the finance department to help me out. So with that being said... the finance department, John and Sydney were very friendly and professional!! I was amazed at the rates/payments they got me even with my credit. You always get scared to go into dealerships because they can be pushy but this wasn't the case. I was obviously in the market for a car and desperate to get one quick but I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of, just taken care of. Thank you so much to everyone up there!! If you need a salesperson that's gonna take their time and go to bat for you, Crystal is your girl.

It is ok dealership. Bought used Grand Marquis. Discovered rear door rust, not properly working ac dash unit. Also salesman didn't know it simply lied about my car not having air suspension. Turned out my vehicle had one.

I purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer for my wife to replace our aging minivan. I could not have been more pleased with our experience, especially with our salesmen Jim Smith. This is the 3rd Ford we have bought from Jim. He spent a great deal of time working to get us what my wife was looking for, even going as far as to work with the network of Ford dealers in the area to arrange for a vehicle trade. We had to expand our budget a bit, but Jim and the finance guys did everything they could to get as close to my budget as possible.

Great service! Took my truck in to get the 100,000 mile maintenance completed. They were very honest as to what should be done and what could wait until later to save me some money. I was very please with the service.

Editing my review to knock off a star for the service department. Condescending staff, facility looks like it's from the 70's, no way to see the service bay to check on the status of your car, expensive for an oil change that took an hour and a half. I'll be having my new car serviced elsewhere.

Went in and saw mo suarez to help me look for a new mustang. I went in not thinking i could get much since my credit is on the lower side but Mo Suarez was so helpful and great atbhis job he was able to get me a new 2018 mustang within my budget. I would highly recommend to make this your first stop to look and not make the mistake i did by making this the last place i went too. The staff was acoomaditng and willing to work with us for the purchase of our first new truck. There was not a ton of pressure walking onto the lot.

We recently had a total vehicle loss and found ourselves struggling to locate another vehicle that was comparable. I came across a very similar vehicle on the Jack Schmitt Colliinsville website, and requested to speak to a pre owned sales team member. I was quickly transferred to Nick Katateew. Nick was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and patient while I explained that I had very specific needs to meet. We live almost an hour away from the dealership and Nick was gracious enough to go out and take a short video tour for me before we made the trip...in the 5 degree weather! We did make the trip, test drove the vehicle, and Nick provided us with all of the service information and the history report on the vehicle, and introduced us to Ben, the finance manager. We came to a quick agreement on final price, and greed to come back the following day to pick up the truck. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the vehicle, the fact that they had already done a thorough check through their service department and had corrected a few items prior to our purchase. the delivery process was quick, paperwork was easy, and we were in and out in about 30 minutes. Overall, great experience with sincere and knowledgeable staff. Nick was great to work with, very personable and sincere. I'm super happy with my purchase and will definitely refer friends and family to Nick! Thanks to Nick and Jack Schmitt Ford Lincoln for making our new purchase so easy!

Had two problems, most serious was a seatbelt problem, which started in unlatching at odd times or not allowing a latch. was able to get the truck in, get it diagnosed, get the part ordered and get it replaced in my timeline. Much appreciated to have a safe, secure vehicle again.

I asked a ton of questions and Andy Stafford was very responsive by email, phone and text. He was very friendly and helpful. I had the truck shipped 900 miles to San Antonio, TX and it arrived just how he described it. I am very happy with the truck and the service I received before and after the sale. I purchased my red ford fusion in april of 2016. Signed the papers with my 2 week old baby in my arms. They made the experiance as a single Mom very easy even moving my baby carseat base and explaining all saftey features. My ford is by far the best purchase ive ever made. The finance lady working with me even gave me a moment to cry alone with happiness. Today i brought in my ford for a service recall and left just as pleased and happy as the moment i purchased. I purchased my very first vehicle at this dealership at 18, and now return at 41 to purchase one for the saftey of my family. Thank you.

It took a week to have my A/C repair and I had to call multiple times to ask for a status. It would be nice for them to tell you as they know/learn new things and give a status update.

The people where very nice. My daughter brought her car for a repair and their was a lack of direction on where to go and what she needed to do.... yes it s her first car plus side is their always so nice.
