After another driver recently totaled my wife s Toyota SUV, we found ourselves unexpectedly shopping for a new vehicle. During my research, I stumbled upon a Ford Explorer Platinum at Jack Schmitt Ford - Lincoln. The car looked to fit our needs, so I scheduled a test drive the rough their website. The next day, I received a call and text message from Alex who offered to help set up the test drive that weekend.

The morning of the scheduled test drive, Alex called me to confirm that I was still interested in and planning to come see the Explorer. When we arrived, she had assigned us a sales professional who had the car pulled up and ready for us to drive. David was professional, personable, honest and made the entire experience enjoyable.

We quickly moved to financing, where Jon and the team were accommodating and worked with us and the unique situation we found ourselves in after our vehicle was deemed a total loss. Warranty options were presented in a low-pressure, informative manner and the rate we secured was competitive.

All in all, the car is fantastic and the price was right. These factors were just icing on the cake, thanks to the team at Jack Schmitt. We will be back to replace my Toyota car when the time comes.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Jack Schmitt. We walked in frustrated with another dealership and immediately were put at ease by the friendly face of Nick. He very rapidly assessed our interest and directed us to an amazing deal. We soon found ourselves on a test drive and fell in love with our new vehicle. We asked if we could have an evening to think about the purchase and without hesitation Nick and his manager both informed us to take our time and that this was a no pressure enviroment. We came back the next day and Nick took amazing care of us. We are immensely satisfied with our experience and new suv!!!

Yesterday I was a bummed out owner of a 2009 Chevy Aveo. Today, thanks to Travis Bricker I am the proud owner of a 2014 Ford Escape. When I initially called Jack Schmitt I informed the gentleman on the other side that I have walked away from 4 other dealerships in St. Louis and refuse to work with anyone who was pushy, impatient, or rude. The gentleman introduced himself as Travis and assured me he was patient, no pressure, and certainly not rude. I am delighted to say that he was true to his word. I will happily recommend any friends and family to Travis and the Jack Schmitt family.

I never do reviews but I bought a 2016 Kia Sorento from these guys. It had a slight vibration in it and we came to the conclusion that it was a flat spot in the tires from sitting on the lot. So I brought it home and drove it 1k miles and it continued. I took it to my local tire place and they said it had a broken belt in the tire and would be $300 for 2 new front tires. I thought it was a long shot but I called the dealer to see if we could work something out. Well to my surprise they offered to put 2 new tires and do a wheel alignment for FREE! I am blown away by this. This dealership stands above the rest in my eyes. Thank you.

Have been dealing the Jack Schmitt Ford for 30 years. Had been planning to wait for the 2019 Edge before buying however, in looking at their web site I saw they had just received some 2018's that appeared to fit what I wanted. Upon arriving at the dealer I discovered the salesman I had enjoyed working with all the years had retired. Fortunately for my wife and I Nick Karateew met us as we arrived. We could not have been happier with the service we received from him. He was well informed, thoughtful, complete and made the buying process a pleasure. Being a car buyer that wants a no haqle experience, I highly reccomend Nick. He's definately the sales professionel to work with. Can't say the same for the finance guy! My experience with the dealership over the years is the only thing that kept me from walking away from a car and deal I was completely satisfied with. Way too pushy for me. He should take a lesson dealing with customers.

As a former Ford employee, I'm allowed special discounts on Ford vehicles for myself and family. On two separate occasions this dealership has tried to tell family members they were not entitled to pricing and financing together. This is incorrect. On both occasions my family members left only up be later called in attempts to lure then back in to the dealership. Very dishonest people.

Alex was my salesman and he was very helpful in helping me find my car quick and get paperwork done at the very end of the work day. I did end up waiting an hour after my appointment time to actually get my car and some parts of the signing and credit check felt really rushed, but Alex, J.R, and Gary were very accommodating and apologetic for the inconveniences in the end, making up for it various ways. I will still be reaching out to them with anything I need help with and I am happy with my purchase overall, but it could have been a little better service.

Was able to get a good price on a Ford Focus ST from Damon Harkins who seemed very genuine and down to earth which goes a long way in buying a car. I don't like feeling like I am trying to make a deal with a sleazy salesman and I didn't really get that impression. The only person that was pushy and a little aggressive was Manager Jason Lyons. Overall, I would recommend my friends and family to purchase a car from this dealership over other local dealerships such as Auffenberg.

The car was bought at Jack Schmitt Ford. It was bought with a three month or three thousand mile warranty. The salesman said that the car was checked out by their mechanics and was in good condition. After the papers were signed we left the dealer. After going about five miles down the highway the check engine service light came on and the car would not shift correctly. A call was made to the dealer and an appointment was made to bring the car in for service. The car was taken to the dealer on 8/3/2013 and left for service. After a day they called and said that they were going to replace some sensors on the car and they would have to order the sensors. They said that they could not fix it untill Monday the 9th. of September. Ryan needed his car to get back and forth to work over the weekend. We went to pickup the car today, 9/5/2013. After leaving the dealer the car did not shift correctly and when the break was applied the oil sensor light came on. We went directly back to the dealer and checked the oil level and found nothing on the dip stick. The car is still sitting on the dealer lot. The car had used at least one and one half to two quarts of oil in just over five hundred miles. On the same note, when the car was started in the morning at least four or five times there was a big cloud of smoke that came out of the exhaust pipe. Ryan stated it was so bad he could not see to back out of the driveway. Ryan and myself feel that the car was not checked out and that they just wanted to get the car off of the lot. We both know that a car should not use that much oil in such a short time. A small amount between oil changes would have been acceptable but it is definetly consuming way more than an average used car. The car cost over seven thousand dollars and it should work better than it has with no problems for such a short time. The solution would be to replace the motor and fix the transmisstion. A gentleman in a white shirt came out of the dealership and informed us that this was not f*&%^ Walmart and we were not getting our money back. He said that we might have damaged the vechile but he was not accusing us of anything. ryan promptly pulled out his phone to record the conversation and the man said were done here and went inside the dealership.

Let me start by saying I have never left a bad review for any business I have dealt with. As a business owner myself I am absolutely shocked that I was treated this way.

I saw a vehicle they were advertising on line. It seemed like a good deal. I reached out to them, then they told me they have some sort of a non-negotiable light they install on all of their vehicles that is $300 along with a non-negotiable insurance policy that says if the vehicle ever gets stolen you get 5k. That costs 300 too. Along with a document fee of 300, which I know other dealers do something similar on the document fee, so that didn't really take me by surprise. All that being said whatever their online price says, be prepared to pay at least $900 more.

The very next day they dropped the vehicle price by 1k, so I reached back out. I figured, now the deal was what they had actually advertised. I made a deal with them and committed to buy the vehicle. We agreed on the price and said deal done.

Then I get a call from the sales rep later that day saying they were showing the vehicle to someone else, so he's not sure what is going to happen. If I could do a screenshot I would do that but instead I will just copy the text he sent to me:

Steve, that vehicle did end up selling. We did have a deal, but we have such a quick turnover here it is dog eat dog. I would still like to earn you business and can give you a call if we get a better option before the 24th. Thanks

Dog eat dog? After a deal is made? Before it happened Devon the sales rep told me on the phone that his manager said since we have someone here we are willing to do the deal with the new people if they decide to buy the vehicle.

So, you can take whatever you want from this review. This wasn't done from anger, but from shock. Be wary if you make any deals with them online or over the phone, they don't seem to honor the deals they make.

My wife knew exactly what she wanted, and there was no pressure as we looked around. Drew showed up just at the right minute and was friendly and helpful and took us directly to my wife's future truck. The financing process was painless and stress-free and we got a much better deal that we anticipated (our monthly payments are $30 less than what we thought they'd be). I would recommend this dealership to anyone in a heartbeat, and the peace of mind I have knowing my wife is driving a quality vehicle is priceless.
