A very elegantly designed hotel with great ambiance, large - spacious and good clean rooms.
The landscaping inside & outside the hotel was good.
The checking -in process needs to improve. It took them more than 20 mins to check me in, even though I had my reservation made in advance.
I am a US citizen and provided them with all my credentials as soon as they asked, but alas!! It was disappointing as soon as you arrive, your checking in takes that looooooooong!
During my booking, it said that WIFI was free and included and after I checked in and called from my room to ask, how I could access WIFI, i was told it was on a chargeable basis.
The front desk folks did not pick up the Phone and i felt the front desk was non responsive many at times, during my stay. I am not too sure, if I will end up going back to stay here again.

Food was excellent and I would like to specially mention Mr Subhankar & Mr Arunava for their out of the world hospitality . Really over whelmed

visited sonar with my family for a family get together for my daughters bthdy celebration. its an amazing property. one of the best 5star itc property . tasty food is found here ..
staff are amazing. they are very much helpful and cooperative. special mention to Ms.Priyanka nandy from front desk .

A must visit to it's chocolate studio on ground foor. Special offer during World Cup also.

Large spread ......You gotto try the fish dishes....and off course if you are a smoker,then must enjoy the smoke room overlooking the lotus pond

Would not rate this as the best ITC hotel in India. For me, expectation from ITC is a lot - if you compare ITC Grand Chola or ITC Maratha.

One of the best 5 star hotels in Kolkata. Beautiful architecture that has utilised the natural greenery of Bengal and accentuated by seamless water bodies. Very friendly staff, wonderful food and great rooms make it one of the best hotels in the country.

My stay was excellent , breakfast buffet was very good and all the staff are well trained.our dinner in panasian is worth remembering ,Food,drinks & service was great .will visit again after the pandemic.

A classic star hotel with a difference. Magnificent look, excellent service, nice ambience, delicious food and variety of liquor all have added to its brand. Above all ITC is the brand involved which has truly added a different flavour. Upkeep is state of the art. Hotel has a beautiful greenery and a spacious lawn. A must visit for those availing hospitality. Visitors book list out all names of people who matter in society.

The new ITC Hotel will dwarf this existing one and promises to be one of the best hotel properties of the group. The existing hotel has its own charm and the immaculate service with superlative food. The facilities are all above par and a discerning person can choose this location with eyes closed

All things r good but d main and big problems r here is car parking place where they r park vehicle if sum functions or married ceremony

The food at Peshawri restaurant was delicious. The place had a very good ambience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful resort like spacious hotel with big garden and lake with fishes. Staff is very friendly and soft spoken. ITC royal have arrived but ITC Sonar's place will remain !
