Buffet at eden pavillion is over expensive though they have only 2 starters (1 veg & 1 non veg). Service is good but they need to put some special items on the menu from continental and global dishes
There ambience was excellent, there services were mind-blowing and the decor was fab
It's a huge place.. luxurious.. fun... It's a treat to the eyes and heart. But the work going on behind this giant place.. should be less messy..

A premier luxury hotel in Kolkata. It is very conveniently located. Close to the airport and tech hub in Salt Lake. Very close to central and South kolkata as well. One of the best hotels in the city.
ITC is a name and hospitality up to the mark. Food no comparison. Not very far from Airport.

Location just opposite of science city but please avoid service road in water logging condition. Interiour,services and rooms of ITC are suitable for workholic fellows

The hotel has maintained it's high standards in customer care and cleanliness, through years. The buffet dinner served in the wedding functions are always superb. It is one of the most prestigious places in Kolkata to have social gathering.
I have stayed in various ITC facilities and have usually found one thing in common...the hospitality, but this visit at ITC Sonar left me with mixed feelings. While a couple of folks were exceptional in their hospitality like Shonali from Guest Relations and Chef Shubhankar who would go out of the way in their hospitality, the Front Desk really could do with some help in conversation skills. The check in conversation was borderline rude where I was asked id proof of my minor daughter and Aadhar was not accepted by them for privacy reasons. The check out took me half an hour as the rate committed to me changed twice. Leaving these experiences aside, the property is beautiful, the ambience is calm, the swimming pool is worth a visit and the spa is really relaxing. Chef Shubhankar would ask my family every morning if there was a local delicacy we would like in breakfast and what ever he would dish out would be awesome. Shonali would make it a point to help me plan my days itinerary which was extremely helpful. All in all, lots of good stuff...could be better.
