Fantastic hotel !
ITC Sonar is a big brand and do provide services as 5 star as they say.The food in the peshawari restaurant was delicious and mind blowing. I had an amazing experience . And always been exceptional in terms of service and hospitality.
People are so warm and friendly they take care of us like they would do for there own family . over here right from the reception to the concierge the way they they welcoming us in a warm and also so polite they are . Very charming..like it s our own house.
I wish to keep coming back over here with my family and friends for the inexplicable love and care that this hotel showers on their guests. Thanks a lot for a wonderful hospitality.

The two nights stay for us was indeed memorable. Must mention that the breakfast spread was amazing . Grand Market Pavilion itself was an experience which I've been sharing with friends especially those who live outside Kolkata . Just a point I thought you could look at adding some more of the traditional Bengali cuisine during a lunch/ dinner. Would go well with all the frames that you showcase across the floor.
The rooms at Royal Bengal were spacious however feel The Sonar experience is different and may be better in many ways with the water body and greenery around.
Overall this twin hotel offers the best of both worlds.

Impressed by their implementation of the ban on single use plastic. Plastic Water bottles have been replaced by glass bottles.Very welcome attempt towards sustainable development.

Rooms are nice. Staff is friendly and professional. Good ambience. However, unlike other properties of ITC, food was kind of bland with very limited options.

It has the best restaurants in the city.
Beautiful ambience, quality of rooms are of good, you can feel the warmth as if its your second home.

Reshmi kebab and chicken khurchan are must try at Peshwari! Dal Bukhara goes without saying.
However for stat purpose, the service of the staff is a bit slow. Else great ambience and definitely worth it... an all time favourite

The Eden Pavilion is a fusion restaurant and hosts food from various cuisines. We were expecting a bit more of Bengali buffet considering Poila Boishakh, but the dishes were limited. Overall the taste of the food was excellent and the desserts we're really good. Buffet prices are Rs. 1680 per head.
