The perfect hotel for an O2 concert. Pretty good for a trip into London too.

We stayed here for a Monday night concert at the O2. We knew it was next to the O2 but we didn't realise there was a dedicated corridor from the hotel to the arena. You simply walk past reception and out the back door and you are at the Arena. It took less than 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the venue which was great on the way in, and even better on the way out.

It takes about 7 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Tube station (North Greenwich, Jubilee Line) which gets you into Green Park for Mayfair/Piccadilly in 20 minutes or so.

The hotel itself is huge! The lobby/reception area was vast and well staffed meaning we didn't wait to checkin. Our room was available ahead of time which was great.

The room itself - a River View double bedroom was huge. I think we had a king sized bed, small seating area, desk and plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom wad large enough to accommodate a large rain shower and a full sized bath tub. A full mini bar and small safe were also in the room.

Our River View was immense. Floor to Ceiling window occupied almost the whole wall giving you a cinematic view of the River across to Blackall Yard. Pressing your nose against the window and looking left you could see Canary Wharf but we were very happy with our view.

The lighting system was like other Intercontinental Hotels, which takes me some time to work out how to use but not a major issue.

We had late night room service which was very quick to arrive and tasty.

This is not a cheap hotel but you get what you pay for. We will be staying here again for the next concert.

Beautiful hotel; large expansive lobby with seating areas and cafe/restaurant adjacent, grand yet sleek and not ott. Very spacious rooms (largest I've seen in London for the rate), excellent facilities, a few choices for dining and drinks...right beside the O2, very close to Greenwich and 20 mins to Central London

This is an amazing hotel. The people were amazing and lovely. They couldn t of helped more. I was staying in room 321. This is a low floor but the room was still brilliant. The service was fantastic! We had afternoon tea there which was very tasty. Everything we needed was sorted for us and service was very fast. I have stayed here many times now and have always been impressed. We came back to our room they had turned down our beds, put fresh towels in the room and soaps which I found was amazing service. Would defiantly recommend this hotel to anybody. Thank you to the team that served us !

Relatively large, new hotel which seems to have a strong focus on conference guests. Nice, spacious rooms, bathroom and shower separated, floor-to-ceiling windows. Individual air conditioning, light switches that are sensible to use. "Correct" hangers.
Difference between superior and deluxe rooms is not very clear. My deluxe room was on the third floor with a large part of the view of the gravel roof of the conference center. Lt. Website the deluxe room has a Nespresso machine and a Bose soundbar in addition to the view (haha). My room didn't have the last one either. Worse, the room smelled of insecticide.
The wellness area has a relatively large pool, unfortunately the steam bath and sauna are directly adjacent to the pool - so not really relaxing. Tip / warning: the English go to the sauna / steam bath with bathing suits. I found it uncomfortable that you have to go through the lobby to get to the spa.
The breakfast buffet is very nicely presented, great selection. However, the egg dishes are all pre-produced in warming bowls and are not freshly prepared as requested. The view, on the other hand, is nice ... just like the one from the bar on the 18th floor.
The weakness of the hotel is the poor service (if this hotel is actually a 5 * hotel - this is not clearly stated on the website). The reception is overwhelmed, sometimes there are queues at check-in. At check-out (I was there especially before breakfast to avoid the queues) the lady initially only wanted to issue me an invoice after I had finally checked out of the hotel :-( I would have to be a little clearer first so that I could get my invoice .

All in all, this Intercontinental does not correspond to the standard I e.g. I'm used to from Tokyo or Shanghai.

Went to the Clipper bar for drinks and the service was truly awful to non existent, had to go to the bar to order and then to pay, they had 5/6 staff on who all looked clueless, then they have the cheek to add 12.5% service charge for no service... Laughable

I used the spa facilities via a voucher. Swimming pool was good size, atmosphere relaxing, sauna, steam room, espa amenities, clean and not crowded. The only downside was that I did not receive my glass of welcome Prosecco which was included in my voucher package. It is a shame. Overall good experience though.

Pros.

Pros.
Modern and luxury interior.
Spacious room.
City View( sky line) is faboulus!!!!!
The club Lounge is nice if you can access.
Breakfast is yum!
Cons.
Location is a little bit isolated, but North Greenwich Staion is 5 min away by walk.
Front bell boys were not nice usually.... I carried 2 carriers with my kid, but did not help to open doors. Most parts of this hotel are very nice but bell boys!!
The management needs to put more lounge servers. They seems to have so many works at picktime. 1-2 servers take care all the tables in lounge.

Over all, stringly recomend this place, and I will stay again.

We often stay here when the Country2Country festival is going on. Hotel is very comfortable, has a very cool top floor bar, service is impeccable and they have a tunnel connecting directly to the O2 arena. Breakfast is really good, great selection. We don't usually drive here but parking does seem plentiful.

First visit to this hotel and, firstly, you can't fault the beautiful and convenient location for visiting the O2. There's a private entrance to the O2 which meant less walking and there's another entrance to backstage. I have a suspicion that the acts that perform must stay at this hotel.

Staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are state of the art, beautiful appointed and have everything you need.

Beds are insanely comfortable, I didn't want to get out. The same for the shower - the water pressure and temperature is perfect so I stayed in longer than I intended.

We had trouble with our air conditioning. I'm 6 months pregnant and have a tendancy to be too warm. The problem was fixed in ten minutes! They sent someone quickly and he cleared the filters in moments. Great service.

Next time we stay here I'd like to order room service - pricing is very reasonable, all things considered and the menu looked delicious!

The hotel is lovely. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly.
The service was very slow in the restaurant on the ground floor and we had a problem with our room when we entered it after checking in but all this was put right but tge guest relations team and the duty manager. They moved our room and really took care of us. The spa is beautiful but in a very odd location if you ask me as it's in the middle of the ground floor where everyone can see you wandering about in your dressing gown. Not for me Im afraid but a fantatic hotel with a brilliant Michelin star restaurant and a beaitiful cocktail bar that has great views of canary wharf

Room had a USB outlet for my phone which was a life saver for me as the outlets did not work for my power supplies.

It was a unique 7 days. The staff were hospitable. Breakfast was top-notch. I Wouldn't doubt naming this hotel as the best for its price range in London. The Hotel was pleasantly well situated as well it takes more or less 20 minutes to travel to the central London from hotel.

therefore great for those who have to go to the O2 arena or the convention area because practically attached .. ... less for tourism .... even if served with a fairly close metro

An absolutely gorgeous hotel with everything you could expect at 5 stars.
The staff and the service are great! It is as far as it even tries to speak in German with one and a few small jokes here and there are also still in it - Absolute plus point with me.
Furthermore, they are very accommodating, friendly and try to do everything possible, so that you like the stay there.

The food and drinks at breakfast, dinner or just in the Skybar are absolutely great, if a little expensive but that is reasonable - as we are finally in a five star hotel in London.

The room we had was clean, modern and equipped with many nice extras. There is also a fabulous view of the River Thames and the skyline beyond.

Finally, there is the point of the situation, because the next subway station can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes and thus from here directly comes anywhere - whether by car or by train.

This hotel is without reservation or concerns recommendable!

While the conference I was attending was interesting and entertaining, security personnel at the hotel was quite annoying and the catering left a bit to be desired. During the social event at the end, the food serving staff was a bit too naggy with the small deserts they offered.
