The hotel and the view are stunning. The staff has been absolutely wonderful; so nice and welcoming. This afternoon while showering a fire alarm went off. This was a test and not a real emergency but the jetlagged walk down from the 7th floor wasn't welcome. Our room did not have a note explaining the test. They did have a shuttle service while the bridge to the O2 is closed off. That was very nice of them.

New building but that's all that's going for this InterCon. As for the Spa treatments, stay clear. Mediocre at best and oh, l got abandoned in the treatment room. I had to look around to get help to the locker room and that smoothie? It never came. It was only remembered at the reception when l got fed up and decided pay and leave. I found out they sell their treatments on Groupon. What can l say lol

Restaurant and Spa 28.12.2019

Restaurant and Spa 28.12.2019

We went here for spa & food, - had a very pleasant experience. Staff at Spa area was very friendly and extremely helpful.

Swimming area was nice but overcrowded as we couldn t find a place to lay down near the pool. Sauna and steam rooms were good as well as jacuzzi with water jet

Massage treatments were very nice and would definitely come back again. Very relaxing....

Restaurant ambience was also nice, attentive supervisors and lovely view over the river Thames.

Food:

Scallop ceviche 3/5
Too chunky pieces and very fishy. Could be smaller portion then it maybe okay.

Turkey roast 5/5
Simply delicious!

Risotto 5/5
Very different - perfect if you want some light and filling

Cheesecake 4/5

Rich and smooth texture, nice decoration

Overall giving 4 stars as there were few things that could be improved:

- better polished cutlery in restaurant
- more attentive waiters

Would definitely recommend this place and hopefully come back in the near future!

I stayed at the hotel because my flight was canceled and the airline decided to allocate us to this hotel. We arrived at 5 in the morning, because it was the time that LATAM, with its tremendous incompetence, managed to bring us. We had been there since 7pm the night before without eating and we were promised that there would be dinner at the place. It turns out that the hotel had already closed dinner activities in the restaurant and refused us to send dinner for room service. We had to wait until 6:30 that it was coffee time to eat something. We went to sleep and I woke up at 2:00 am scared because the new flight was at 8:00 pm and the hotel is 1 hour away from the airport and as there were a lot of people to transport I thought I should start early. They had stopped calling to let them know when the buses arrived but they did not call. Finally, despite being "five stars", the hotel sins in several respects.

Amazing hotel in a great location for the O2. Staff were extremely helpful, the surroundings extremely modern, clean and relaxing. The spa was fantastic with towels and slippers provided, the breakfast was one of the best breakfast buffets I've had and the room was fantastic. Overall 10/10

Brand new and eager to please, this hotel is worth a visit for the views alone.
The bar on the 18th floor provides a new perspective on London; West towards Canary Wharf and East across the roof of the O2. They mix an excellent Belvedere Martini, although the other cocktails I tried were a tad syrupy for me. If sweet cocktails aren't your thing they have an impressive array of champagne and whisky to sip while taking in the vista.
There's a brasserie on the 1st floor serving a wide range of good value dishes, again accompanied by views of the river.
It's early days for this hotel and, like Craft around the corner, it's a very welcome addition to this ramshackle peninsula.
The staff make this hotel more welcoming than its facade implies, but the dreary piped music that follows you throughout every public space tries hard to quash any notion that it's more than just a chain hotel discretely absorbing your cash.

What a fabulous hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Barbara in the lounge was very attentive. We enjoyed a nice meal in the brazzerie, food was tasty and nicely presented with excellent customer service. The manager Stephen took time out to ask us about our experience. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very high quality hotel with three bars including views over Canary Wharf.
We are in the bar on the ground floor and had cocktails in the other two bars, very enjoyable.
Our room was superb, view of the river and a large comfortable bed.
There is a quick route into the O2 building saving on walking if you are going to a show.
We will definitely book again.

The hotel was lovely, however having my vehicle broken into in the carpark was a very unpleasant experience, on arrival at the hotel next to the o2 I noticed cameras, anpr security barriers, fences and apparently 24/7 security guards, all More

This hotel is simply incredible. The staff, the rooms, the view, the breakfast (didn't try the restaurants, but I'm sure the food is great as well) - everything is simply perfect. Love to stay here again if I'm on visit.

First time staying before seeing Michelle Obama at O2. Lovely warm and friendly welcome from the receptionist. Fantastic service and views in the restaurant...special mention for Callum our waiter. Beds are super comfy, and power shower awesome. Only downside was on the first floor bar after the show...long wait for drinks and food...need to sort this out...as guests like us were getting restless. Enough staff behind the bar to deal with the influx post O2 but not sure they were that well organised...had no clue who was next in line for ordering drinks,so tended to serve the ones that spoke loudest first!! Shame as it's a tip top hotel, hence my 5 star rating still

A lovely place to come for a luxury getaway. The location means the room rates are low - as most people don't want to walk ten minutes to the tube! We used it as a base to get the river boats up to Westminster, tube to Camden, trips to Shoreditch and the Shard. Would definitely recommend it!

Great location and very respectable place to stay for O2 visits. Let down by lack of attention to detail...

TV didn't work
No shower gel in bathroom
Not told where lifts were or shown to them
Only 2 non-decaf coffee machine sachets in room and no standard instant coffee
No biscuits!
Lead on kettle was literally about 7 inches long so very hard to use
On check out we weren't asked if we enjoyed our stay.

All of the above are very little things, but they add up to leave a memory of this place that certainly doesn't meet the 5 stars it should be. Especially considering the hefty rates!

Have been staying here since shortly after opening. Have had no stays without issues which can be niggling to significant. Despite being an IC Royal Ambassador I just will not stay here again the additional stress is just not worth it and there are better more consistent and much cheaper options nearby.

Good link to 02. Staff polite. Room average for London. Lots of choice for breakfast. Bed linen could have been a higher quality. Can hear people in corridor at night. Would they again if going to a concert though.

Lovely hotel with lots of amenities and great access to the O2 Arena, along with some fab views of the Thames river. If you're seeing an event at the O2, paying for the convenience of staying here is totally worth it!

I haven't stayed here, only been to 18 Sky Bar. The bar provides a great view across London and the O2. The staff are attentive, service prompt and the cocktails are fantastic. They also do an interesting rum tasting if you go as a group, and if you fancy food afterwards - follow it up with a trip to Gaucho's steakhouse in the O2.

Such friendly staff, and a nice fellow called Rob gave us a shuttle from North Greenwich to the hotel and back again the next morning. Granted it's not far but really helped us out timing wise and saved us some minutes!!! Thanks Intercontinental and thanks Rob!!!

Attended the CBI Annual Conference in November 2017. The hotel facilities are very smart and clean, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional - what you would expect from a venue such as this. The food was good, however the setup was wrong - the staff were not able to keep the food stations stocked fast enough, so delegates were left standing around hungry for long periods of time.
