I contacted iiNet to make a change to my Fetch TV. I found their customer service excellent. The consultant was easy to talk to, understood my request quickly and solved my request without issue. He had great personal skills and also my phone call had no wait time, a bonus with experiences of long wait time with previous providers. I am also very happy with the internet I have as well. I was initially skeptical that the internet would not be good as my previous more expensive provider, but have been extremely happy. Great company and would highly recommend.
Does the thing I pay it to do. No troubles. Wish you could get email support though.
I've been with iiNet for over two years now and on the odd occasion I've needed to contact them, I've had no waiting and friendly helpful staff. This makes such a difference to other telcos I've been with. I'd recommend iiNet to anyone looking to change to a much more positive experience with internet services.

I have had to call iiNet a few times and each time I have had the problem resolved easily and quickly. I was informed all along the way, especially when Telstra had to come and fix the line in the street.The internet is fast (hopefully when I get NBN!), the service is great and very competitive prices.
we were with WESTNET and the service, support, connection quality was brilliant but since taken over by IINET - everything has gone down hill. You get promised the world but NEVER deliver. The GM Matt CONN never returns calls when request sent via review/feedback form. very unprofessional team. I have changed my mobile plan to a higher amount so I can have unlimited calls/sms, back on 12th May but they still haven't managed to action this, despite sms messages I receive telling me a monthly date that it will happen! I'm currently researching other providers
They lied to me to sign a contract with them. After many issues and phone calls and one cancelation, she said we give you an early appointment for connecting NBN on 6th Nov. I got off from my work but after 4 days I received a text that your appointment is on 14th Nov. I called them many time but nothing changed.
IiNet have been stealing from Australians for too long, they should no longer be able to trade in Australia, shut them down!
Supposed to offer the best service!!! Won't send a technician out and then confirmed that my data speed is not guaranteed...what am I paying for if my office phones and internet doesn't work? DO NOT run a business using iinet.
I was advised to use iiNet as my internet provider because they were one of the cheapest providers; I did this because I'm a pensioner and felt I couldn't afford to pay too much. I have now found that for what I pay I've received the best possible service; they even advise me if the NBN goes down in my area and when it's back on. On the odd occasion when I have had to contact them for technical support the staff had been most polite and patient with me. I can honestly say hand on heart that I am not one bit sorry that I use them as my internet provider.

Horrible experience. Double charged us twice and after 4 calls nothing has been sorted out! They are just promising to call back but they never do! Plus we lost connection and nobody is able to help and again the same story, we will call you wit solution but nobody calls!!! Absolutely frustrating!!!!

Had been a client of Internode for some years after escaping from Telstra ........moved in to new home and once NBN was connected found Iinet offered a better plan for my use and as they were part of the same family joined up despite being a little concerned as to whether their service would be as good .Rapid easy connection . 2 episode of loss of internet - and Iinet were terrific ...one simply reconnecting modems , but the other a more complicated NBN issue - I was regularly kept informed as to the progress of resolution over 36 hours . Happy customer !.....Would recommend without reservation .
i have been with IInet this time around for 7 years. I have also been with IInet with both dial up and broadband even before this and have always found their staff technical and connections very easy to deal with. They are the only ISP i have ever dealt with whose staff know what they are on about enough that they dont need to follow a script to be of assistance and get the problem sorted quickly.
Great supplier with great prices and customer service.
Kept me informed as to when the NBN would be available. Good communication. Good price for the NBN. I don't know yet what speed I will get. Hope to be active on NBN by the end of June.
I have been with iiNet for several years now as my internet provider...I believe their monthly plan is unbeatable value...I have never had any problems with their service and if at any time I needed an extension to pay they have always obliged...I highly recommend them
By far the most useless company I'll dealt with in Australia and they need to work on their custom service the man I spoke to was so rude and had no idea what he was talking about. Only wish they had minus stars on this review because that man should be fired

iinet is very good company. Very promt and professional people to deal with. Quick resolution to complaints, connection, mobile and broadband problems. All good.
While it was difficult to hear the customer service person due to low volume and a connection that was 80% my problem was sorted and the person was very patient with me. Overall I would give iiNet 10 out of 10. Great internet service with non of the issues we have had with previous service providers.
Placed order for NBN. Iinet lost the order. Placed order again. Iinet got our address incorrect. Had to place order again but by this time our iinet emails were deleted. When asking for our emails to be reinstated was told all new emails must be at least 6 characters.
An absolute joke. Took weeks and weeks of phone calls and two months to get connected. THE WORST customer experience, ever, by far.
Can t fault the service over the past 5years, recently started having wifi problems, called tech support, problem diagnosed to be modem which iinet replaced with no charge because we were long term customers. iiNet look after you very well, why go anywhere else!!!!
I m very happy with iiNet. My only area of concern is that it might b helpful if u could consider allowing ur customers to suspend their contract without penalty if the need to. (As was the case with me) Having said that the service has always been very good.

I have been with iiNet for over 13 years and they have always helped me out when I needed them witch was not very much as they keep their system running their business above and beyond anyone else. So if you want the best then you cant go passed iiNet.
I have been a customer for many years and I have recommended iiNet to many of family, friends and even my customers. The connection with the internet is fast and very rarely disconnects and if there is a problem the service department is always ready to help and if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
My experience with iinet in Subiaco was brilliant. The lady who worked on my case was fantastic. We had an extremely tricky case of old numbers having to be ported out and then ported back in - and she persevered, kept me informed the whole time as to what was going on, (by phone and by email). Thanks to her I am now saving $40 per month on our phones. It did take time - but it was a difficult case - and with patience it all worked out well. Thank you Kris! Judy
I have been with IInet since 2008. I queried why I was paying for mobile phone usage on Voip. I was told when i took out the contract that all landline calls and mobile calls within Australia were free on Voip. The person that I spoke with in the invoicing department today was very helpful and knowledgeable but he could not locate the contract. I asked if he would credit the mobile calls on the current bill and period which was less than $30. His line Manager Tristan said no he would not credit the calls. I will now look at other service providers. The service used to be excellent but has been deteriorating for some time.

I have been with iinet for approximately 4 years, since they gained control of my previous ISP. iinet have always been easy to deal with when l have needed tech assistance, at one stage they gave me 3 months credit when l hadn't used the service due to traveling.

I am happy with the service just wish country areas could have more data. Other than that I've shopped around and you guys were the best.

Thanks to the great product that iiNET provide, I rarely have to contact their customer service department, but I did recently for a change in the product I was using, they answered quickly and took care of my request there and then, no fuss. I have always liked iiNET, and would recommend them to anyone that asked.
Iinet has been my internet provider for a number of years. I signed up with them after having numerous problems with my previous provider. I have recieved a great service from Iinet. They even transferred my service when I moved house last year. The move went off without a hitch. I recommend Iinet as a provider as they are affordable, dependable and provide great customer service.

I've been with IINET about 6-7 years. When you ring their call centre when things go wrong they come across as rude, it sounds like you are interrupting what they are doing and it really is inconvenient for you to call them. I logged a job via Email and got a reply... 5 days ago, still waiting for a response. I do believe their level of customer service is poor for such a large company. They may offer 24 hour call centre but hey... it should be more local.

From the start I found the experience very positive. My waiting time was minimal/great customer service, had an extremely helpful tech guy who solved the problem. iinet would have to rate as one of the most accessible and helpful internet providers.

For nearly a month we tried to get connected and couldn t, with iiNet representatives continuously saying it was done or they d personally see to it happening numerous times.
Now that we have changed to another provider iiNet now won t notify the nbn our order has been cancelled to let them connect us. It s been an additional 2 weeks since we cancelled and after multiple phone calls and even contacting the ombudsman the order hasn t been cleared. instead iiNet has tried to keep our business by inconveniencing us and refusing to notify the nbn as they should; instead attempting to send out technicians to our house more then once to try keep our business after we explicitly said we weren t interested. The worst customer service and company I ve ever had to deal with.
I had an issue immediately following NBN activation. The support crew at iiNet were amazingly persistent in sorting out the problem, a little like a terrier at your heals. They observed my Wifi dropping out as we spoke and felt that it was actually an NBN issue. iiNet made the appointment with the NBN technician on my behalf and followed up with confirmation calls. The problem was with NBN - it was sorted on site. Not an issue or problem since. I have nothing but praise for iiNet and the support they provide - never too much of a problem for them. So, so glad to be one of their customers.
I chose iiNet because of the good ratings given by satisfied customers. This was put to the test when something went wrong: my internet/phone service failed in ever increasing cycles for ever increasing times. iiNet's reputation proved to be genuine and deserved. Firstly the phone was answered very promptly and the issue listened to respectfully. The service I received in trying to fix my problem was outstanding and followed up several times thereafter. iiNet is committed to making its customers satisfied. I have no reservations in recommending iiNet as an Internet service provider for the NBN.
I NEVER have any problem with iiNet. I am a Senior citizen n I am trying to keep up with this amazing technology n the support teams are so patient n understand the fear that this senior have. .

Truth be told every time I've called I've never waited longer than 5-mins. And the customer rep has been knowledgable and helpful.
Moving away from iiNet. Constant drop outs and 5 months of fighting to have fees reversed for a service we never received.
Customer service is fantastic when it comes to setting you up but there's no provision for sorting out problems after that.
Very efficient and polite staff reconnect was qiuck.

Been with these guys for a while. Don't have many hassles, but it's great to know that there is a great support team at the end of the (not very long wait) phone or even an email that gets a quick response.

Over the years, I have received an excellent response to my queries from IiNet. They have taken time and talked me through and resolved my difficulties, except on one occasion.
I changed to iiNet after many years with Telstra , it took me a long time to realise there is no point being loyal to a company that really doesn't care if their service is not really a service. I was getting something like 5-10 mb download speed all the time . I spent hours waiting for things to download.
So I bit the bullet and changed to iiNett and I have never looked back , well until 6 weeks ago and suddenly one day the internet just failed . I looked at the modem & it was red then green back & forth on a minute by minute basis. I called the people on the help line & to cut a long story short I did that for 6 weeks , a technician coming to look on a weekly basis. Shannon in customer service was almost pulling his hair out , he assured me he could fix anything .... Last week after everything had been tried one more tech came out & really we were at a loss. So he climbed the pole & did what he did ( I don't really know ) but now I am on line again. These days we are so dependent on our computers for all sorts of things. I have to lodge my partners wages with Home Affairs dropping out of that program is agony.Online induction for jobs for him , we are totally dependent . My wildlife caring has to be recorded .
Anyway I do not regret changing to iiNet I know if that had of been Telstra I would still be waiting. Thank you.
When things are working OK things are fine. When things go wrong the service is appalling.
I was forced to go with them as they had the only available port in the street (in inner city Perth, not Baghdad). They gave me extra quota as i have been with them for over 2 years. Unfortunately on the weekends you will be lucky to get 50kbs/s so you'll never have to worry about ever hitting your quota.
It isn't my set up either as the service will provide stable 700kbs/s mid week. They obviously don't have the capacity to deal with all their customers.

Iinet is hell on earth to be sincere this has become my worst internet provider i have ever had. I have been trying to conduct their customer support team but to no avail or they provider zero solutions to the problems and when it comes to payments they never go wrong on time of deductions i really hate iinet.
I have been with iiNet for several years now and have always found them to be very efficient and courteous when dealing with any problems. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend them.

The key things for us have been reliable service delivery, speedy technical support whenever we needed a bit of help, wonderful & responsive customer service and, more recently, blindingly fast NBN and Fetch TV which is more than adequate for our entertainment requirements.
You don t stay with a high tech provider for 13+ years unless they keep up with the times and the exacting standards which they have always provided us with.
Coupled with that, we have found iiNet to be very competitive and on the ball with their back end services.
Our account is coming up for renewal in November and we will be renewing once again.

We have been with iiNet for approximately 5 years and have had excellent service and product. If we have ever had a problem we have phoned the Call Centre and within 1/2 hour or so our call has been returned to save us hanging on the phone. All the staff are professional and helpful and friendly and to be honest in the 5 years I have probably only had reason to call about 3 times. I highly recommend iiNet they are a great company to deal with.

Organised to have nbn connected but they didnt even show up even though had organised another technician to install network at the same time. Got no reasoning why they didn't show and couldn't get through on the phone.
As an existing customer (and soon to be ex customer) i advise to go elsewhere!

Twice in the last 6 months I've lost internet for a week or more. Multiple calls to customer service still have not resolved the issue this time. The faults team is utterly incompetent, they remotely assess the fault, blame NBNco or the modem (neither of which is actually the problem) and close the job ticket without actually resolving the problem. Great way to lose a customer of 11+ years.
Internet drops out for hours at a time. Zero customer service. Usual eta is 48 hours for something they have broken to even be investigated. Avoid.
I got a call to say I had been overcharged as after the nbn nbn was installed the adsl line was still being charged. Great for a company to proactively follow this up.

I have been with iinet for 14 years and have never had a problem with them. They have a service that calls you back rather than wait on hold and the staff are always friendly and willing to help. The low prices got me originally, and the great service keeps me here. I would highly recommend iinet.
My internet packed up on Saturday and I got in touch with iiNet they did lots of tests and found it was the NBN they arranged for the NBN to come on Tuesday at 8.00am and was all fixed by 9.00am very good service

I highly recommend iiNet as they treat you like a person and not a number. When my nbn was down, they got me back online quickly and kept me informed as they worked on the issue. Their customer support was friendly and helpful, unlike their major competitor which is why I jumped ship and I am so glad I did.
I was 54 years old when I join iiNet now I am 69 and I am still with iiNet and you guys can do the math you don't have to wonder why. good service is the bottom line and they are really good. for them, time wasn't the issue quality yes

$80 a month for totally unreliable internet. Our service completely dropped out over eight times in two months, each lasting over two days. Rude, disinterested staff who had better things to do than care about the impact this had on the work and study load in the house, particularly during end of year exams. Avoid iiNet.
Be Warned!!! iinet was supposed to connect my Business to NBN last Friday. The Internet was connected on Friday, but here it is Tuesday and still no phone line. If any customers call my Business number they get a message saying that the line has been disconnected. I have no doubt lost customers and business because of no phone line for FIVE DAYS. How long will this go on for?????
I have made numerous calls to the call centre and have been getting lots of excuses and no solutions.
Organised wifi with iiNet when I moved house. Placed my order on a Wednesday night and it took until the next Friday for the modem to arrive. Once the modem was delivered the internet would not work. After I had been told it would work as soon as I plugged it in. After spending 2 hours on the phone I was told that it would be a further 24-48 business hours for the internet to be connected so I would be without internet over the weekend. The reason for the delay was an "internal error" when iinet was processing my order. Very disappointed in the service I received, no apology or compensation offered. Would not recommend this service!

OK, You asked for it. When i joined nearly 7 years ago ii-net was the best... Sadly that has changed . Your ring back service only works sometimes. Ringing you often gets cut off and it takes several attempts. Technical support....You are lucky to get someone who really seems to know how to find a problem. These are only examples of many more problems That have crept in over the years. I came very close several times to change to someone else...I am sorry because of Your present performance i can give you only one star, when i joined and during the earlier times i would have given you 5 stars
I have been with Iinet for around 2 years now after swapping from another provider starting with T, it was the best thing I ever did. Being classed as "country area" we have always had poor service from the other providers and very slow and unreliable speeds. Iinet spent a lot of time when we first started with them tweaking our router so we had a reliable service and also had our home phone working like a dream. Whenever there has been a problem Iinet's team were fast and efficient and very professional. I would totally recommend this company over all the others.
Excellent customer service. I ve dealt with both Telstra and Optus previously for internet. They re both perfect when you re dealing with sales, then absolutely horrendous when you have an issue or are just trying to get information. iiNet has been solid with internet service and customer service. Best provider I ve had over 15 years
