I recently had a internet problem, no wifi for 3 days. I eventually spoke to a really nice person in Cape town, he unfortunately also had a very slow connection at his place of work, but after approx 20 min of waiting , he found out my problem, which I was able to fix . We shared a few moments of happy dialog after, and wished each other well in the present covid 19 situation in our different countries. Ramon

iinet are USELESS!!! I have a faulty UNI-D port in my NBN box which just so happens to be the #1 port...I was told when signing up that they would be able to assign me to a different port on the box and now 5 days in to paying $100 for a new service I'm now being told it's impossible to be switched to a different port..10/10 would NEVER recommend iinet to anyone.
With IiNet my voice is my password but for security sake they still ask for your birthdate (missed out on my 60th present ) but I haven t ever had any problems with Iinet or their services. We have had many issues with NBN CO and IiNet endeavour to resolve issues as they surface.
Was better before, but recently I've felt like that they have tried to cut costs , providing slow internet and also consistently cutting in and out. I can even skype, without at least my internet cutting out 5 times. They were good before, but recently it's all gone down the drain.
I wish I could use a half a star. This company used to have THE BEST service in the country across multiple industries. 12 months ago I would have recommended them to everyone. Sadly, these days, I would suggest another alternative. I signed up for 100MBps bandwidth on the NBN with iiNet. Currently I am topping out at 20MBps and I have had the worst experience with customer service and support teams.
My experience with iinet has been horrible. I dont know where to start. My internet quality is fine but the fact that it disconnects for periods of time multiple times a day is very annoying. To top it all off, the customer service is a disgrace. Between the long periods of waiting, and the uninterested and lazy tech support. Over-promise and under-deliver. Been connected to their NBN50 plan for over a month now, still no VOIP set up and no Fetch TV. Customer service has no idea. They say it has been done, then they say there is no order, then they say they are working on it, then they just hang up.
I have been with iiNet for around 6 months now. Before signing up with iiNet I had several conversations with the team. They were extremely friendly, helpful, patient and honest. No pressure was ever applied.
The South African and Australian teams are the most personable I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Nothing is a problem, the level of service is the highest I have ever seen and the follow up is.unmatched. One consultant even contacted me from home whilst caring for a sick child to make sure my enquiries were answered!
In all my years of customer service and management I have never seen such a culture and extremely high level of training and service. If I was still in the corporate world I would give the world to have these people on team.

I've been an iiNet customer for a few years and never had any cause for complaint. I recently signed up for NBN when it became available in my street. My new modem/router thing was sent prior to my scheduled NBN installation. The installer came on time and connection was made in under 30min. Last week my service wasn't working and I contacted iiNet when I discovered it. The callback option was great as I couldn't sit around waiting for an operator to pick up. The issue wasnt able to be resolved over the phone and an NBN technical support team had to be sent as it was an external line issue, ( my line had been severed accidentally possibly by another technician connecting my neighbour's NBN). iiNet operators were very helpful and patiently talked me through the troubleshooting over the phone. I am confident in the service that they supply and when and if there is an issue it will be resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Very very disappointing iinet :( I was counting on you a lot as my boss recommended you guys to me. Took 2 months for iinet to get me an appointment with NBN people and i eventually ended still being disconnected as the NBN guy could find a connection in my area :( Do you want explain the whole process? Ok readers please hear me out, I called at first and spoke a nice guy who recommended to me get NBN as it was just arrived in my area so I did. Aftet 3 weeks i didn't hesr anything from them, so I call them and they said: ' actually we need the last contact number'. Really I mean? Couldn't you guys email me about it and ask it? Just waiting for my call? Then i gave them the last contact number. 2 weeks past still didn't hear anything, called them back and they apologised and said we post the modem for you then book and appointment. The parcel arrived but still didn't hear anything a week past, so i called them again and asked them what's going on? I got on hold for 10 mins and the lady said ' i booked an appointment for you but it is in 3 weeks'. I stayed calm and explain to the lady how bad the experience was very slow and unprofessional. To sum up, iinet doesn't give a **** for your application and you have to call them every damn time. They don't notify anyone what is required even if weeks pass Only thing they're really honest about is being numbet 1 at customer service which the google average rating really show they're number 1 Update: Wow iinet is really good at collecting fake reviews to boost up their terrible 1 star to 3.5 star!!. Don't get fooled people it's easy to buy fake reviews.
Change over to nbn was easy and quick with iiNet. There was no stress at all. I called to find out after installation about how I get billed and the lady over the phone was very good to deal with very happy with the service they provide
Product offering is good, can be customised to suit your needs and with very fast speeds. Customer support is excellent, very quick responses that are both clear and precise. Very impressed.

Why must it take so long for iinet to connect the net. Service was started today and still waiting on a modem. I am sure that will take other week to arrive. Customer service is so bad.
Full marks for iiNet customer support person named Crister. Telstra adsl cables down, repair date blown out 3 times already so she arranged to fast track NBN, waived setup fees, and organized credit for me without being asked. A logical and proactive approach. Thank you.
iinet is a breath of fresh air. The service is second to none . The speed is super fast and the customer service is 5-star. Keep on the good work iinet, there aren't many companies who excel so much as you do on both counts!
Been an iiNet subscriber for the better part of 15 years (12 in my current location). Never had one issue with them, totally flawless, and the team of women and men that you may have to interact with are excellent. Always have a bright and cheery disposition, and resolve any issue you have the first time you make contact. Thinking of changing ISPs, do yourself a favour and join them :)
The actual service is ok but trying to get anything sorted since the TPG purchase is a nightmare, the staff dont log requests or notes if it reflects badly on them which makes most annoying problems much worse. The iiNet who cared about delivering great customer service to West Australians is gone and the business is a former shell of it self. If you want cheap internet and can put up with the subpar customer service there right for you.
Since iiNet has become our Provider I have found them to be very efficient, courteous and helpful. I would recommend iiNet as a great Internet Provider!
Have been with iiNet for many years and have had only positive experiences, unlike two previous providers, including the biggest which both had no regard for customers. Even through the NBN debacle, iiNet provided helpful customer support.
I've been with iiNet for almost 4years & wouldn't think about changing provider's. Wonderful customer service, always extremely helpful, respectful & fix any any problems immediately. Very rarely have I had any problems with my internet, at home or out & about, would highly recommend iiNet.
No stars!! BUYER BEWARE! This company is an absolute JOKE! Unfortunately I signed up with iiNet 4 weeks ago and gee did i make the wrong decision! Started billing me and charged the connection fee and I still have NO internet, they told me that I just had to wait and there was no error on my phone line only to hire a private electrician and find that my junction box had actually been disconnected! Apparently they ran "tests" on my line and said it was good to go. Now im having nothing but TROUBLE trying to cancel the service and get my connection fee back! Consumer affairs report is being produced, not amused by these incompetent pack of thieving scum.
Beyond disappointed by the poor service. I could never recommend a company who cares so little for its customers and does not provide a functioning internet service.
In fact my call was with Transact who manage our connection rather than iiNET. iiNet partner Transact in the ACT . I Can vouch for the reliability of Transact and it is less expensive than the NBN!
Had issues with my wifi connection, left my details for my call to be returned avoiding the annoying queue. Dean helped me to resolve the issue quickly, efficiently and with much patience, given my clueless approach to technology in general. Brilliant service, every query has been met with a timely and professional manner. Keep up the good work iinet.
Best service from any provider I have had. Staff are polite and helpful and their hardware is the best. I moved house and instead of massive fees they offered me savings and free reconnections.
The worst customer service I have ver come across. It does not exist. I changed over to the NBN in November 2017. I have had endless problems and nothing sorted out to date.
The IINet team listen to what I mentioned. They always in a calm manner and are willing to go to the far end of planet to help their customers. I try to have a list of questions already made on paper that being prepared, means that in a calm manner I can voice my problems with end result of getting the job/problem fixed. They have a clear "no nonsense" billing system that I understand has no underling hidden costs, that might trap customers. I know everyone has there preferences, along with a big choice to choose from in this world. When "your on a good wicket" try to stick with the company who is loyal with their customers and looks after them.
I have always had the best product and best service from iinet. I have been a customer for many years and have no intention of changing to another supplier.Recently I moved and once again the transition was easy and seamless. I am very happy with this company and would recommend it to anyone.
I've found the iiNet staff very helpful and friendly. They take their time and I've never left with an issue unsolved. They make it easy and are very patient, but basically I don't have any problems with the service. If I had a complaint, it would be that you can only use iiNet if you agree to having a direct debit. Personally, I would prefer to have charge of my account and be able to pay with B Pay

Been with them for more than 3 years. I have found there call centre to be really good. I've hardly been on hold for more than 3 minutes.It really helps when there is not much waiting time to speak to an operator. Fixes issues quick. Would definitely recommend.
When we finally got the NBN connected at our place, I changed my provider to iiNet. It's been quick and efficient service ever since. No problems so far that weren't remedied within an hour. Decent rates too. Totally sold on iiNet.
Took over Westnet who were excellent and monumentally Stuffed up a good company. Just suspended my Broadband due to alleged non payment even though they direct debit my account. My account is paid but now home phone not operating and sitting around waiting for them to call me back as phone system says over an hour to talk to someone. Why buy a company just to sabotage its great reputation And service with incompetence.
I am satisfied with iiNet , and from the beginning I had full internet, netphone, fetchtv and recently purchased a extra fetch box so I can watch in my bedroom. I have been with iinet nowfnow many years and to show that they value people like me , iiNet should have a plan or offer that reward my loyalty

I have had many services with these guys over the years and I also promoted them to my community as they performed well. Since the takeover by TPG, they have become arrogant and worse than what Telstra was. They dont look after elderly customers and simply dont care. They fix billing issues slowly and simply DONOT care or make efforts. I warn everyone to be careful signing up with them as they are now TPG and are maybe cheap, but also nasty.
The ADSL+2 speeds are horrendous. I live 12kms from Brisbane city and I can barely get 2 MBPS down don t even get me started on the upload speeds. In iiNets defence I don t think any provider can give us anything better. We have tried. Fingers crossed the NBN is better and won t be too far away!

Moving house and needing to set up my internet, I was expecting this to be complicated as I am not tech savvy but the service I got from iiNet was excellent. 1 call from me to notify them of the change and a return call a few days later when the nbn was set up. Great service iiNet
I am so disappointed the way my account has been handled since the beginning. I was hoping to get away from Telstra and experience a good service with good support and so far you are making me regrets this decision immensely. To think that there could be a company worse then Telstra I thought was impossible but you are very close to proving me wrong.
Last Saturday/Sunday the storm hit quite bad up here in the hills, we lost our Internet and Landline, We phoned Tec support somewhere in Manilla I believe, and they did some testing for us, Just as we had thought our internet and Land line was down, But they said they would phone us back, they did, and told us that they would be sending a Technician from Telstra out, it may take 48 hours, true to word the Technician came out 48 hours later a lovely man who restored our Internet, However it seemed our Modem had a fault and we still could not get back on line, That was Wednesday Anzac day, on Thursday we went down to Subi and as our Modem was under warranty they replaced it, so just wanna say a big Thank you to all who helped us at iinet both over seas and here in Subiaco, it was such a pleasure and once again we thank you so much we have been iinet customers for 10 years now and you will defiantly have us for the next ten Kindest Regards R and D Sachse
piss poor service and NBN you can not even give them les than one star i canceld 4 mobile phones but i am binded to a 2 year contract on the NBN witch i can not even use for an hour it keeps on falling out 3 modems later still the same piss poor i say prove me wrong

The service is great and each time I speak to a representative I am always surprised by how helpful and friendly they are. I have never had a single connection problem during the 2 years I have been using iiNet. Highly recommended.
