Hyatt Regency O'Hare Reviews

I'm staying the at the Hyatt for a company sales summit. It's has a nice room and is close to the airport and restaurants.

About 7 minutes away from the airport. I wasn't a fan of the industrial style toilet. This was quite possibly the farthest I've ever had to walk to get to my hotel room.

Staff was incredibly welcoming and pleasurable. Everything was clean and clear even after such a large convention was taken place. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning on staying in the Rosemont area!

Room is pretty roomy, TV is huge! Staff are pretty responsive :)

I dressed up as a giant fuzzy wolf. And drank a lot. This hotel is great.

I attended the Anime Midwest convention here. I did not stay in this hotel but I can tell you that the common areas are clean, staff is attentive, and service is fast!

Shuttle bus to airport didn't show at scheduled time. Ended up waiting 45 min.

Rooms were cozy and quiet, considering O'hare is very close. Loved watching the jets land from our balcony. We had a conference at the convention center, so we got LOTS of walking in during our stay.

Very wonderful. This is where I will be staying next time I am in the area

By far.. the most confusing hotel I ve ever stayed n. Just a strange layout of the building, & no signage. It was comforting knowing.. I wasn t the only one lost. lol

Lots of activities going on. It was hard to find exactly where to go. But as soon as I found someone to point me in the right direction it was just great. I love the park and fly option. I can take advantage if it be my trip and then after an overseas flight to have extra time to recuperate and not worry about finding my car. Just hop on the shuttle and off to the comforts of a top rated hotel.

A tub to bath in would have been nice. But thr again the shower was filthy so a tub may not be great for ya. Other than the lack of cleanliness in my room it was Okay. Honrstly Super8 has proven better.

Horrible water pressure, bathrooms are small and you can hear through the walls, which is not a good thing if your neighbor breathes hard...

Good service. The rooms are dated. The worst part of this experience is that I was there two days and room service trays were left in the hall for over 8 hours.

As with every year, good service and hospitality for our group!

Very nice hotel easy parking, quick check-in, and good food at both the lobby restaurant and bar.

Decent hotel. Walking distance to many restaurants. Rooms are just OK. Get a square room, not round.

Don't know that I would describe it as luxury but it is very nice

We parked our car there while we flew to another state. When we were supposed to come back, our flight got canceled twice! The Hyatt didn't charge us anymore for the extra couple days and understood we were already stressed.

Great stay....Most definitely would stay again in the future. Near attractions and wonderfully staffed.

My company booked this room for me and its nicer than the motel 6 that I'd been staying in but there are carvings in the furniture and scrapes in the furnishings that should have been addressed by the staff and or builders. For the most part though, hotel room is really nice.

Do not see recycling anywhere which is disappointing.

Lovely staff, a beautiful hotel, and great accommodations

Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and fresh towels daliy. Its worth the price and is about 20 min from chicago.

Recently attended a convention here, the staff were very professional and helpful. The door keys are proximity based, I could open the door by pressing my wallet to the lock pad. Did not visit the fitness center, and if their was a laundering service we saw no clear sign of it.

Was a great place to stay we had a meet up for investors in their Convention Center we stay for five nights had great service good food. Good Hospitality in our bedrooms being turned down.

In my room now wishing I was at the Hyatt Magnificent mile. Room is small, bed is hard, and pretty noisy (airport and thin walls). Quite honestly, the service from the staff here (front desk) and downstairs at the restaurant has been pretty bad. Two nights here with cold weather and a hard bed makes me want to never leave California.

Always a good time when i come to Rosemont for a event and we always stay at the Hyatt. Only gripe I have is not offering free bottles if water in the room. Also, the Red Bar has terrible food.

This is a stylish and elegant hotel with nice rooms, as most Hyatts are. I didn't expect much by way of food and bars nearby since it's also close to O'Hare, but there actually was a nice little plaza walking distance from the hotel. There's an Irish bar, a Mexican restaurant, a craft beer bar, and more, which was a nice surprise.

I reserved a room and then I was put on a waiting list for said room. To top it all off the room was $407/day before taxes. Still sitting in the lobby waiting on a room now.

Great at accommodating for large events. Only complaint is that the in-lobby restaurant was a bit hasty/disorganized, but they were packed.

Here for a conference. Their service is great, the amenities they provide for free is amazing. I just wish there was a Walgreens or similar that was walking distance

We had a work conference here with 1,000 people. The catering staff did a great job with everything. Rooms were adequate.

I came to a wedding here and the venue is beautiful, the entire hotel is breathtaking. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious and quite strong, the staff was amicable and the overall atmosphere left me wanting to book an event there myself. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert, the music and the service was top of the line. Wonderful job!

The balcony room we got is fantastic. View is dependent on which side you are on, but this is a great place for conventions.

Extremely warm and helpful staff; a beautiful and well-equipped venue for our conference.

Loved the room- huge tv and nice furnishings. I disliked that there was no elevator to the 11th floor, which was difficult for carrying up lots of luggage.

Just stopped for libations, nice atmosphere, free valet parking if you get a receipt from the person serving.

Absolutely beautiful hotel inside. Nice rooms. Comfy beds. And let me tell you! The water pressure in the showers is absolutely incredible. It doesn't sound like a big deal. But if you feel nasty and want to feel clean, the showers here are amazing.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Don't hesitate to try it here. Parking is awesome. Rooms are sweet.
I've stayed here annually since 2013. And we never have had an issue.

Racial Profiling

An employee of this hotel recently racially profiled a friend of mine who was a paying guest - approaching him with a security guard to ask if he was a guest at the hotel while he was quietly sitting in the lobby. They did not approach his 3 white friends. I sent a note to corporate expressing my concerns and asked that they train their employees, mistaking this Hyatt with the Hyatt Rosemont located down the street. I immediately heard from the Hyatt Rosemont manager who apologized for the situation, but we quickly realized that the incident actually happened at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. The Rosemont manager forwarded our communication to the manager of the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. I never received any communication from the O'Hare manager, which leads me to believe that it is not a situation that he is taking seriously. This is a huge concern. I am an event planner/producer, and I will not bring my business to the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. Racial profiling is an extreme violation that needs to be addressed promptly. I do hope they figure out this issue and are able to train their employees to value all guests.More

Every thing was great, the staff very friendly, the room was big bed comfortable and clean, the buffet food was good and the price was reasonable yes I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel was clean and spacious. Excellent location if attending events at the Donald E Stephenson Convention Center.

No pool. This was also a business trip that was to be direct billed to my company with no expense to myself. When I got here late at night the front desk asked me for a card to just hold on the room. Since I don't have any credit cards I gave her my debit card. But neglected to tell me that they were going to take $100 out of my account. That might not be a lot for some people but it is for me. Luckily I wasn't hungry or thirsty or anything else because it left me broke

A good business hotel that's priced for business travelers who have corporate accounts.

The hotel itself is nice, but there's very little beyond a casual bar and coffee shop for immediate dining options.

We had work shop seminar fot Shluter systems at the hotel. GREAT PLACE.

Stayed there the weekend of Jan 20-22 for daughter's dance convention (JUMP Chicago). Nice hotel. Stayed in a room with two double beds. Beds were comfortable. TV in room was huge. Friendly staff. The O'H American Grill has great breakfast and lunch buffets. We loved The Red Bar & Lounge. Our food was excellent and so were the waitresses. Overall, a very nice experience.

Good location. Their shuttle service is good. Check in took a while at night although its an Airport hotel.

The Hyatt Regency O'Hare is an excellent hotel to stay at if you are attending a convention of any sort. The proximity (along with the skybridge) to the Donald E. Stephen's make it my first choice when I'm attending anything in Rosemont.

It was for anime central and all the staff was really helpful and nice

Very impressive hotel. You don't expect such a wide open space from the outside. Rooms are impressive, too. All very clean, modern interior. You can see from the staff at the bar, that they really like to work here. Seems to be a very positive overall atmosphere.

Nice and clean hotel and the staff was amazing!! Would recommend to everyone. Only down fall is no pool but that's okay.

Food was delicious the venue was beautiful but mismanaged...the waitress was rude and couldn't speak English...poured water all over the table ...we had to get our own coffee and didn't even apologize...The valet was full by 6:00 and we had to self park for a wedding with my mother on oxygen and walk a mile to get to the reception.

We stayed here only because we were comped a room from United after our flight was unable to take off. The shuttle to and from the airport comes often and is quick getting you back and forth. Staff was fine, no complaints. The building and decor is what really makes this hotel lovely to stay in. That being said, somethings didn't mesh - the room had a giant TV but then a cheap, white plastic wastebasket in the bathroom. Either way, would definitely stay here again if I needed to.
