Loved staying at this hotel! Regency Club was the best! I loved the many dining choices inside the hotel, but I enjoyed most having private Regency Club breakfast. Very beautiful and accommodating hotel.

The Hyatt regency was an amazing hotel!! It is beautiful inside and has amazing service. My room was very spacious and clean I got in there. I had a slight issue on my last day at the hotel and they went above and beyond to help me out. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!!!

A very nice hotel! Having the open atrium is quiet loud for rooms that open up to it. Overall, staff is friendly. A nice location, close to things to see, but far enough from Bourbon Street activities. Finding a Diet Coke is a chore and when you do, it hits your wallet.. $3.50 for 20 oz.

Loved their shower. I wanted to live in it and take it home with us when we checked out. The elevator system was the craziest thing i've ever ridden. But overall it was a very nice hotel. And I would recommend it to anyone staying in that area.

Memorial weekend has turned into a nightmare! This over priced hotel charges you$50 per day to hold off your credit card/debit card for any accidents which is fine if the lady checking me in would have told me! Then went to room where I had to do a quick clean myself then the bed is terrible. Next night we ordered from house to get food poisoning. Then the next day I asked the maid to clean, was gone all day to get back and discovere that they couldn't even do that. Don't waste your time

The HR in NOLA was conveniently located. The accommodations for our family were clean and comfortable; their staff was attentive and were very helpful in securing our room - we had missed our flight & arrived a day late to a sold-out hotel. We enjoyed all the amenities; the wonderful Bourge restaurant, Starbucks, etc. Ben, our server at Bourge, was great & recommended several fabulous dishes:: cauliflower soup, broiled oysters, duck poppers - a must !, & their gumbo). The staff there was wonderful, too! Although it was about ~5 minutes from closing when we called from our room, they told us we come down to dine. We met fellow convention attendees who also raved about their food! We would definitely recommend the Hyatt Regency to our friends visiting NOLA!

Very pretty, clean and upscale, but the rooms are so far away from the entrance and desks. Staff were kind, helpful and informative.
Also about a 15 min walk to downtown area. Overall a really nice place away from the nightlife

I had a room reserved for a conference on Sept. 9, 2019. The room was reserved for a month, but the hotel told me they were 'fully committed' when I showed up. That was english for they sold my room for a higher rate. They offered me a parlor room with no bed but a rollaway. I was speaking at the conference and needed to sleep so I booked at a Marriott in town. I have read that overbooking or reselling your room is common practice at this hotel. I would avoid it.

It's a beautiful hotel. The room is great the view is the superdome and downtown, however New Orleans doesn't have a great skyline. There are more then enough places to eat and the service is amazing. I came down for a wedding and had to carry all the groomsmens tuxedos and a bell boy spotted me and helped me out. GREAT SERVICE. The beds are so comfortable didn't have one sleepless night. We walked to bourbon street only took 15-20 min. All in all great experience.

Great place to stay in the downtown of New Orleans. This is ones best one we have stayed most high tech . The room we had nice and modern . I would recommend staying here when come the city . The club level is very nice with window views there gym is very high teach . The parking well to have it park for you will cost $40 night but you can come and go as much you want . To self park is different will cost $25.00 a day and can not come and go as you like . This part of staying the Business District of New Orleans..

The facilities are great. The layout of the building is a bit confusing, but otherwise the staff and restaurants are great. Doing a whole week of stay and we couldn't have asked for a better location (it's right on the Loyola Line!)

Very nice and elegant. This place is pretty big so it is easy to get turned around trying to get to your room. This place is in a good location and near good food restaurants in New Orleans . There are a lot of conventions held here so it does stay pretty busy! There is a workout area that is very clean. The view from the top is nice as well, looking over the Mississippi River is a nice touch if you have access to the Regency Club.

Very nice experience. Sadly we only stayed one night, but we will absolutely book this hotel again when visiting. Workout room had the best views and the dining experience was wonderful.

I was here to give a massage to one of the guests and laid on the bedlike couch that was there. Nobody was around at all, a vacant area. It had been vacant all day. I decided to use the space. One of the workers approached me in a very rude manner. His regard was not classy but rude. I expected a better regard to anyone from a place as classy as the Hyatt. He seemed to not listen or understand that I was waiting for my massage table to arrive and simply waved off my reasoning and told me to go down to the lobby. As if I had no business even being around. When I was there FOR business. His rude and demeaning approach ruined my pleasant day I was having. He could have approached his request for me to sit up or move entirely differently and in a respectful way and not only could we have communicated better if he listened, but I would have left with my respects to his request and still had a nice day.

Moral: Don t be rude. As a classy service, please regard EVERYONE with respect at hello (even if making a particular request).

I gave it a 2 star for this visit instead of a 1 star experience because at the least it had nice architecture, atmosphere, Starbucks, and bar area, and wonderful lounge sofas. (That apparently aren t made for lounging on? Felt like I was at a museum. Look - but don t touch.).

I went to Hyatt Regency for a conference. The place is huge, and conference rooms and facilities are neat.

Pros: The service is super kind and the breakfast buffet offered a wide choice of food and good quality.

Cons: The room was ok, but if seemed more like a 3 stars hotel. The bathroom which was clean and generally ok, but aside from that nothing special.
The air conditioning felt really cold (but maybe that's just because I am european), so bring a sweater if you don't wish to catch a cold (;

One of the tall buildings in NOLA. Nice room. Nice lobby. We initially reserved for the other Hyatt in town through a third party booking agency. When we reached there, they redirected us to here, as they told that they have some emergency problem. When we reached here and wanted to check in ( with a letter forwarded by the other Hyatt), the lady on the desk initially, without going through any details wanted to send us back there ( I admit, we looked tired, and dressed in a casual tee and flip flop). Then another worker came and kinda saved us. Next they kept us awaited for a while, and then gave us a room. When we reached to the room, it was different. It has only one king bed, however, we reserved for two queen beds. Again we came into the front desk and talked with that person a lot to convince that we really need a room with two queens. Then she gave us a room. And charged 50$ ( in case for any accidental etc). The room was nice, the restroom is pretty mediocre through ( almost like a good inn) The view from the room is also not very promising. However, next day, I discovered that they charged another 100$ in my credit card. Again while checking out we pointed that out, after some conversation the lady apologized and told that, it s a fault from their side. They will return that money. In that context, let me tell that the parking is not free. Valet of self, in both cases, you have to pay ! I m disappointed. This kind of behavior is not expected from such a big chain of hotels !

Very beautiful hotel with a good location - but bad customer service. We arrived late on a Saturday to find that our rooms had been cancelled and we were not notified. They claimed they were completely booked and would have to move us to another motel. Never offered to comp even one night of the four rooms we had booked for 4 nights....disappointed for such a gorgeous hotel. Make sure to call to double check reservations before arrival.

Nice place but don't expect fast service , had issues with an extremely high credit card hold even though I tried to prevent it , did receive an upgraded room though , 3 restaurants , but the seafood restaurant on 1st floor is definitely the best , food was awesome, front desk seemed to be understaffed and usually only had 1 or 2 working with lines waiting, had to call one day because they forgot to clean my room , shower in my room had trouble with water , hopefully service issues will improve, thank you!

Everything was amazing, just a hold up in the elevators because they are assigned to certain floors and such; also, I was there for a convention and the wait for the elevators was horrendous. I cannot physically usr stairs too much, so having a handicap specific elevator would have been a better idea than other lavious items.

Wonderful! Dennis is so kind and helpful. I appreciate so much the effort to be more aware of less waste. Soap dispensers in shower and not having sheets changed etc. Help the environment

Nice place, very clean, but the front desk people have heavy Spanish accent, hard to understand. I have a handicap, I wish they warned me about the bathroom set up, I can't do shower stalls. When I asked to switch rooms with tub, they made it look like it's too hard to switch, I ended up having to sit my bare butt on the rough tile floor of the shower stall
