Decent place, but it's showing its age. Rust on the doorframes and bad sheetrock repair spots throughout the room. Also we had reserved a king bed 2 months prior to our stay, and when we got there, they didn't have any left, even though the attendant pulled up our reservation in his computer and said it looks like you reserved a king bed.

I found my stay very good, despite the time that this hotel has been kept in very good condition, I do not speak much English but even so it was not much of an excellent impediment all

Great place to stay if you are in town for an event at the Superdome or Smoothie King Center. Hotel staff are extremely pleasant and accommodating. Nicely furnished, nice size room. (But the pillows are terrible, rock hard - take your own.)

The hotel was chaotic. Directions around hotel were unclear and the layout was confusing. Room service closed at midnight. Starbucks employees were incredibly rude. Bartender at pool bar was solo and inexperienced. Room was clean and comfortable, but overall the hotel was way overpriced for the experience. I would not stay there again.

I've been to a lot of luxurious hotels this was rated as a 4-star 5-star hotel they were the rudest people I've ever met in my life I will never stay at this place again they charged $40 a day for a parking spot for a convention that I was in atrocious

This was my first time staying at the Hyatt and I wasn't impressed. For years I've heard everyone talk about the "GREAT" Hyatt. So, I wanted to see what the "hype" was all about. Came to N.O. for tge Charlie Wilson concert. When we arrived I must say the staff was professional, helpful, and attentive. However, the hotel was a disappointment. It began with the escalator being out of order, the over priced drinks and food, and to top it off the air in our room was not working properly. We called the front desk twice about the air. Someone came but guy said it was his first day on the job and he was getting off. Basically, he was no help. I was NOT impressed.

The hotel is beautiful from the outside. The first room I was in was very dirty. Hair on the bathroom floor, walked on a stir stick near the bed that blended in with the brown carpet. The towels were very worn. I had an end room the air was pouring through the window as if it were open. I had the heat blasting for almost 2 hours and it warmed up from 60 to 62. It is 32 outside. There were also no coffee cups in the room. Two glasses, but I was afraid to drink from them. There was another room available so I moved. Appears to be cleaner. However, the heat is stuck at 75 on high. I called for maintenance 30 mins ago and they still are not here. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice hotel! I went to an accompanying conference in the hotel and really enjoyed the central location. The hotel itself is very well laid out with several restaurants including a starbucks, a pool, and a work out room. Staff is incredibly friendly and willing to give great recommendations. I would highly recommend getting a room on a higher floor, it's worth the view alone! The elevators are very efficient but a tad tricky, luckily there is typically staff nearby to help with any trouble!

Great experience for a quick overnight trip, situated perfectly for views of the super dome. French quarter is only a 5 min walk away, so ideal for first timers to NOLA. Elevator system can be a bit confusing but the main entryway/foyer is beautifully decorated and staffed. Very large rooms that are well appointed for corporate events - would definitely recommend for functions or meetings. Partner lover our accommodation as it was very modern/contemporary in decor, however travellers who are looking for more french/new Orleans - flavoured decor may want to look elsewhere.

Great service. Beautiful, clean rooms. Elevator situation takes time to get use to and is very slow but not wild definitely recommend this hotel. Easy to walk to restaurants and bourbon street if you don't mind walking a mile. Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel! Comfy beds, good food and most importantly, great customer service! When I arrived for a conference they didn't have a record of my reservation which was booked through my agency. They put me in a room anyway and said they'd figure it all out later. It was figured out and all was good. When I arrived in my room and it smelled super weird, they immediately moved me to a brighter, slightly bigger room that smelled great with no hassle! All of the staff I encountered were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was in a great location too. I'd definitely stay here again!

The first night we stayed here, there was a concert at an outdoor venue next to the hotel. The bass was so loud that it was painful. I had to wear noise canceling headphones until the concert ended. When taking a shower in the afternoons, we had to run the water for nearly five minutes before it became warm enough to shower. Our room was close to the open atrium, and the noise and music from the bar/restaurant below was very loud until well after 11 pm (quiet hours?). The air conditioner in the room was very loud. The pool area was located next to a huge, noisy exhaust system in a nearby hotel, so sitting poolside was not relaxing. On a positive note, the hotel staff were friendly and the place was clean. Good location.

I love meeting friends for drinks at the Hyatt. It is a beautiful hotel, and the bar on the 3rd floor is super fun---bartenders are cute, too! It feels more comfortable than pretentious.
