Great hotel and a perfect spot. I've never had better hotel customer service in my life. Outstanding. So friendly and professional.
Service didn't meet our expectations. Room was clean and comfortable. Need better signage for check-in and valet parking.
The idea that access to the Internet still costs $10 is crazy. Not to mention I took the room upgrade that didn't include I-net access. So I figure just eat from the late night menu and they failed to bring all of our order. Pretty disappointing stay at this location. Check in was good and many staff members wee super kind. Just hate the haggle of no Internet in the room.
It was really nice bUT the AC did not work so it was awful
Our stay was absolutely marvelous everything about it was Grand. We were so comfortable and felt right at home
Comfortable pillows, good coffee, flavored water, great staff
I would not consider myself someone who is snobby, but I had to ask to be moved to a new room after arriving to find the one I was assigned to (with a card that said serviced by Jacqueline M) had clearly been glossed over in the cleaning dept. There were multiple hairs in the bathroom, a used spare pillow and blanket thrown haphazardly in the closet, wet shower mat, unidentified "splatter" on the paperwork in the bathroom and shower doors that clearly hadn't been cleaned in a WHILE, mystery sticky oily stuff on the bedside table... But what finally made me call the front desk was the black junk on the pillow case ... Not stains mind you (though there were also red makeup stains on the sheets as well) but something fresh. Made me wonder if the sheets had been changed at all. The young man who brought me a key to a new room was very kind and my new room is much cleaner though there was still hair in the bathroom sink...ew. Clearly when you stay in a hotel room you're not the first person to stay there, but when a hotel has four stars and charges what this one does, you sure want to feel like you are! I worked cleaning rooms early in my teenage years and so I have empathy for how hard the work is, but seriously... You just gotta do it! Hoping the rest of my 3 day stay goes better!
Edit: a representative contacted me and listed to my feedback and was very apologetic and tried to make things right. I appreciate that level of concern and have updated from 2 to 3 stars.
There for a large luncheon in the Grand Ballroom. Nicely catered by staff and very well organized.
Very clean. Stayed one night. Super cozy King bed! Parking is not included but the rate of the room was really good. Very friendly staff who went above to help locate a phone charger when we had forgotten one.
We have stayed there a couple times and have always been please with the rooms and service. Will stay there in the future!
Bed was comfy but everything else was awful. The first room they put us in smelled strongly of cigarette smoke so they switched our room. The second room had stains on the bedding, towels for one guest not two and was just overall dirty. We travel a lot and stay at a variety of hotels ranging from moderate to luxury and this by far has been our worst experience. Staff in the gift shop was very rude not even thanking us for our purchase. Parking is $40 for valet and the only option unless you park in a garage away from the hotel.
That was the worst hotel experience of my life and they robbed us we will never go there again
Attended Whiskey in the Winter and With a packed house staff was very helpful finding our way around.
Absolutely gorgeous. I was there for an event and loved it.
This is a beautiful hotel with great views of the arch in downtown. They have great restaurants inside and all around the hotel. I really enjoyed this day in the staff was very friendly.
You feel at home here. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is helpful and courteous. Everything is within walking distance that you may want to explore. Ruth Chris is on site and wonderful. Highly recommend the Club Floor.
Great downtown location, beautiful facilities. We were there for an event, and it seemed extremely well handled
Nice hotel! Looks great! Plus, the Cardinals host their Winter Warm Up there which is a great charity event. Loved the event and the hotel.
I went to the hotel and had one of the most horrible experiences of my life and for legal reasons I can go into detail. The professionalism of the hotel is almost nonexistent when a serious issue arises. With plenty of options close by Implore you to look into other hotels for you stay.
Great location right in the middle of everything. Baseball stadium and Gateway Arch are within walking distance. Rooms are updated with urban style. Great Steakhouse on premises and a sports bar too. Nice fast breakfast with made to order egg dish
Nice rooms with great views from the windows. The Arch is right behind the Hyatt. So many locations around to hang out and enjoy yourself. Everything is in walking distance which you will have to do unless you prefer taxi or uber. Restaurants and shopping on the first floor as well. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Great hotel, great service and right in the heart of the city.
Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean. Had a amazing view of the Arch.
You definitely want to stay here to be close by the Arch which is beautiful at night. The hotel stay was great. Clean, great customer service, great views of the Arch or city and great rates.
After the check-in mixup of being given a key to an occupied room, and finally sorting out the parking situation, the overall hotel experience was wonderful. The staff is super nice and very professional. Busy weekend with multiple conventions and proms going on but thankfully my 7th floor room was quiet, very clean, and extremely comfortable. I'm actually coming back in a month a half so I decided to book a room during my check-out. Great value for the price here, although I recommend bringing your own bottled water since the in room bottled water is $4.
This hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff was consistently friendly and very helpful. The location was also perfect, as a prime downtown location in St. Louis and visiting the Arch. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel!
I attended the Hyatt for a meeting. The food and the valet parking service was very good.
I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. I had a choice of where to stay, so I called the top three hotels on my list. This was the only hotel with a friendly, courteous person on the phone. I didn't feel rushed or that I was a burden to her as I asked her questions, so O booked here. When we arrived, we found the staff was just as kind and accommodating in person, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge and coffee/tea maker in the room. There's also a safe, should you need one. The location of the hotel was PERFECT! You can go up to the 18th floor and you have a picture perfect location to take a selfie with the arch (I've posted that view). Also, it's walking distance (about a 5 minute walk) to the arch. The ballpark is about 3 city blocks away, also walkable. You will need to pay extra for parking daily ($29+tax), so make room in your budget for that. There's lots of restaurants to choose from, but the three located in the lobby are very good. If you want an upscale option there's Ruth's Chris. Best steak I've ever had! Thank you, Hyatt!! You get my highest recommendation!
Pay for what you get. Huge rooms with a nice few stores when its not covid staffed...It could use for a renno tho as it's clearly a bit dated.
Room is awesome. Food not so much. I did not stop here for the food. Lol
The lobby bathrooms are excellent, according to my wife.
Location by the arch. Updated with modern clean rooms. Room size is small. Shower only no bath tub. Covid friendly with social distancing marks. Requiring masks in common areas.
Clean, friendly and helpful staff and well managed.
Make sure you keep the noise down, no parties allowed
Went to the Hyatt bar after a wedding. Service was great, bartenders served us after last call because we got there late.
I've stayed at this hotel many times and always had a good experience. While the staff is nice the quality of the hotel and services have dropped drastically. They no longer have room service (you can order from the already over priced restaurants and have delivered at a charge) bedding is of very poor quality. Very poor organization of their events. I'm currently in the lobby waiting for my husband and listening to guest services talk about their tik tok accounts and complaining about the guests... yesterday concierge were taking selfies!! So much is just not what you would expect of a 4 star hotel. I could get the same service and quality or better at a 2 star hotel for half the price!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
I was in town for the international conference on ADHD at the hotel, and had a wonderful time. All the staff I had the pleasure of interacting with were kind, professional and helpful. And I'll tell ya, best hotel conference food I have ever eaten. It was a great experience.
Beautiful hotel. Great views and a wonderful location. I enjoyed the breakfast service. It felt like home. It was also a bonus chatting with my server who was also an Island Girl.
This is my favorite place to stay when I visit St. Louis. The view of the Arch from my room is always spectacular! Excited that they finally opened back up before my visit.
Had a small meetup with about 35 people in the bar area. Drinks were slow but good price and food was tasty.
Was here for an anniversary....close to everything including the Arch. Will be back!
Excellent location a spectacular view
But very small quarters too small coves
Amazing view! Super nice staff. But more than anything, as a tires traveller, when a standard room has a bath (as opposed to a shower) that makes me super happy! :)
I kind of too expensive in the services, but great view and position!
Overall great location and Starbucks in the lobby is a plus. The room was pretty standard and small.
Great place, great service, great location downtown.
Had drinks at the brewhouse. Good selection, good service.
Room was clean, although there were some dents in the dry wall that could be fixed, the towel rack on the back off the bathroom door had been taken off, and the AC wasn't working properly when we first arrived. They fixed everything within 15 minutes of us calling. Overall, it was very clean and we had a great view of the sun rise. Would definitely stay again.
Great location, with a beautiful view of the arch. Extremely attentive and caring staff. Hyatt rules.
We stayed one night. Our room wasn t ready and the manager upgraded our room for the night. I am 6 months pregnant and greatly appreciate not having to sit around and wait.
Found garbage in the room from previous guest and hairs on the bathroom floor. Housekeeping was knocking on door at 0815. We paid a premium for a nice room with an Arch view, and that did not disappoint. We won t be staying here again.
The room was dirty. The bathroom ceiling tiles had dust/dirt on them. The fridge didn't work, and even though we requested maintenance, no one ever came. Trash by elevator was left since evening and never cleaned up. Garage trash cans were overflowing everywhere. Very disappointed, and expected a lot better from Hyatt.
Great food and people!! Just popped in for some drinks but great atmospher!!
16th floor corner view of the Arch in the rain. Clean rooms friendly service.
Stayed here for a Braves Cardinals game. Excellent location for exploring downtown, the Gateway Arch and surrounding areas, and only a short walk to Busch Stadium. Rooms were very nice with several having an excellent view of the Arch. Several nice amenities too. Very nice on site restaurant. Good overall value
I was not impressed with paying $300 for one night in a tiny room, in addition to parking being another $29.The staff I encountered were friendly, however there was no pool as advertised on the site I booked through, the booking site also said there were smoking rooms,I was informed once I arrived that the pool had been taken out and replaced with an observation area for a "better viewing of the arch" when the Arch was already close enough to see from the outside, and there were no smoking rooms either.Apparently the hotel is not responsible for wrongful information from third party sites.
Went there for the whiskey and the winter event. Both the staff and facility were top-notch.
Beautiful hotel, fantastic location and great service! Wish parking were cheaper, though.
Went for the Cardinals Care winter warm up for the 5th year. Loved the event and the staff and volunteers were great as usual!!?
Love staying here! Every time I have come to this hotel it's nothing but greatness. The staff is extremely helpful, food is delicious, and the rooms are clean and well designed. I try to always get a room on the upper floors with nice views and they accommodate me every time.
Beautiful venue. Especially if you get a room facing the Arch
Enjoyed our stay, a few wks back!! Clean & comfortable with friendly service! Only wish they had a pool for the kids! Keep in mind if you do valet service, take whatever bags you need immediately as it took us a while to have our bags delivered to the room... even tho they were supposedly sending them right up! When you leave, I highly recommend phoning ahead to skip the lines & have your car waiting for you! Great place to stay with an amazing location & excellent views!
Amazing view and spacious room (King Deluxe with a city view), however, WAY too expensive for the little that is provided to you. They charge $40 just for one night of parking, which should be free to any hotel guests in my opinion, and they left 2 bottles of water in the room that would've been $3 each had I decided to drink them. Can't even give complimentary waters? No breakfast included. Beds were also extremely hard with stains on the sheets. You pay $270 for parking and a view, pretty much. Though we did stay on fourth of July and had a nice short walk to the arch. Overall, convenient but far expensive for the amenities provided.
Stopped by the bar for a drink, quick friendly service and a refreshing drink.
I will never come here again. This place tries to squeeze every penny out of you. I paid $269 for a one night stay, which was 100% by choice. But when you pay that much for a room you should be able to expect certain things. The room was adequate, it had a nice view of the arch, but that was the above average thing about it.
There is NO free parking, and the "cheap parking" (I think it was 18 or 20$ a night) was all full, so I had to pay $39 dollars for valet parking.
Breakfast was not included, the breakfast buffet was $18 a person, ordering room service for breakfast was cheaper, minus the $5 dollar delivery fee for them to go up the elevator to bring it to me.
Our complimentary bottles of body wash/shampoo were already used. There was barely any left.
Bottom line, I should have just paid $80 for a room at the La Quinta and I would have at least had free parking and my own shampoo. Instead I paid over $330 for a view and one freaking night.
Everything at this place has some hidden, extra dollar or five charge. Overall, not worth it. I only gave it 2 stars because my husband didn't want me to put one.
