Unless you are white and straight, I would steer clear of this place. Made a simple call about wedding information and disclosed that it was a same sex wedding. I was called disgusting and hung up on. After reading the reviews, I'm sickened!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. This was a last minute trip and everything about it was just about as perfect as you can get. We had a king suite overlooking the city the room was huge, the bed was comfortable, the decor was very modern and nice. Everything was very clean and tidy. I am pretty picky with hotel rooms and I was very comfortable here. Parking was easy in the self park garage even for my full size truck. We ate a little dessert at Brewmasters restaurant in the lobby and it was great. Katie at the front desk was great she was fast even dealing with our last minute upgrade to a suite. She was very nice and helpful. I guess the real test for me is if I would stay at a hotel again and I would definitely stay at this hotel again and I'd also recommend it as a good place to stay in downtown stl.

The view of the river was good but the room was cold the first night we didn't know to keep the light on in order for the heat to work the tub and the sink kept backing up when other rooms were using their bathroom nasty smelly water came out from both drains

Update: I wanted to add this before you read the rest of this book. The valet customer service was the best that I received at this hotel! I added another star for them.

If you're thinking about staying at this place. DON'T!!! I chose this place because of the reviews and the fact that it is located near the arch. Save your money! KEEP DRIVING!!!! Some things need to be updated, the carpet needs to be replaced! The carpet in the waiting area next to the check in was gross! That should of been my first sign to run away!! The vibe in this place feels so negative and a lot of the people in customer service reflected it. We just came from Nashville and we stayed at the Omni Hotel over there, now that place I recommend. Every one in this town seems to have a chip on their shoulder, rude and disrespectful not happy to be working at their jobs, no hospitality. We loved Nashville, the music city, people were relaxing having fun and chilling over there. Everyone here seems to be unhappy! We ordered pizza from a local pizza place Imos, don't do it!!! It was bad! I swear it was just chef boyardee pizza sauce on a tortilla, some weird cheese and no pepperoni that I could see. The kid's ate but it wasn't good pizza! Then we ordered food from Ruth's Chris. Know that you have to reserve a table, in Alabama you don't have to reserve a table. So we decide to order take out, no biggie. We take our food up to our room on the 16th floor to enjoy. There wasn't any silverware, no problem we'll just go and get some. We go back up to our room and our loaded baked potato wasn't loaded! At this point we are frustrated then come to find out we could of sat at the bar to enjoy our food, since it is first come first serve! The hostess did not mention this as she just seem to be okay with telling us there were no available tables.. By the time we get to eat our food it is cold! The 50$ ribeye I ordered had the fat solidifying and getting gritty. We open up the lamb chops and there isn't any mint jelly!!! I mean come on! I have worked in the service industry and I have seen teenagers, going to high school and working ToGo, doing a better job than this! I'm afraid to go to the Starbucks in the morning for coffee....

The Hyatt provided a great experience for the St. Louis VMware User Group User Conference. The food was phenomenal, the service great and the staff did a great job of helping out while still seeming to be out of sight. I would recommend for a conference to be held here.

Great hotel, helpful friendly staff, clean accommodations. Two restaurants on site for options if you are tired and dont want to leave the hotel. Breakfast has options as well, from ordering off a menu to a full buffet. Enjoyed my stay while in Saint Louis.

The hotel stay at hyatt was good. We got the arch view room and you have a great front row view of the gateway arch. We had a dog and had to pay a 100 pet fee which is a bit high in my opinion. I asked for some complimentary items through the hotel operator and they only brought half of what I asked. Valet parking is 39$ per night. It was also difficult to get someone on the phone through their business line. Also dinner at the hotel restaurant/bar was overpriced and so so. It's good for the view and proximity to the arch and that's what we came for.

This place is awesome Starbucks and a steakhouse inside . If you love being treated like royality this place goes way beyond that. The arch is located right behind it and a breath taking view of the Mississippi River. St Louis rocks if I'm ever back that way again I'll only stay at the Hyatt.

The hotel was nice but you can tell it hasn't been renovated in awhile. The elevators shake & creak quite a bit. However, the location is convient and the view we had was beautiful!! The staff was also very friendly and professional. The beds are comfy though! I would consider staying here again.

The Hyatt at the arch created such an excellent customer experience! We were involved in a car accident as soon as we made it into the city. The Hyatt held our reservations and gave us a room credit to turn our day around. When we arrived, the man at the customer desk personally greeted us with puppy pets and showed us around.

The location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff makes me want to stay here again if we come back to St. Louis!

Top Class Hotel. Right next to the Gateway Arch. I mean right next to step out the doors and you're there. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the downtown area. Walking distance to the ballpark, Courthouse, Gateway Arch, and wonderful restaurants in the downtown area.

Facility is great. Very clean and modern. the service was great. The food was good. We had the late night buffet at the bar. The Salmon was dry and bland and did not have any sauce to potentially fix it. the rest of the food was good or better.

I was a little disappointed there wasn't a pool, but housekeeping by far made up for it! Everyone I talked to was so nice! I asked one lady with a cart in the hall for shampoo and she checked and didn't have any with her, so she said she would get some delivered. Not only did she deliver one shampoo, but two! And 2 conditioners, 2 lotions, toothpaste and soap! Looved them!!

Nice hotel. We went to go check it out to see if we want to hold our event there and they have a nice arch gateway room. It is perfect for holding events. The banquet manager and associates are great and the staff is amazing. This hotel is nice and friendly.

Hotel: The View was the only thing Nice about the place. Other than that the room was small, service was poor or non existent. When asking the concierge for things to do nearby, we were rudely greeted with 'Not much to do, honestly' and then they walked away.

Location: The Arch.... Hope that's all you wanna do on this end of town cause that's ALL there is, Unless your seeing a game or something while your here, there are stadiums nearby. But for food or drinks or anything entertaining, you'll have to grab an Uber or car to get to a more lively part of town. This area is DEAD.

Overall: Find a hotel with a complementary breakfast away from the arch, and don't stay here. Literally any other location would be better than the Hyatt Regency St Louis At The Arch. This Hyatt is tacky 70's Trash and the staff is equally dumpster worthy.

Would give 0/5 if possible.

This hotel is the absolute best downtown. Its location is great and you get amazing views of the arch or the city no matter which room you get. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Their concierge desk is very informative. The lady who checked me in made sure that I received the floor and view I had requested and was very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. It is well suited for the business traveler, couple, or families. They have several restaurants and a general store in the hotel along with a Starbucks. I will be back.

Relaxing room. Had a refrigerator available in the room, which is great for me since I carry food. There was a community microwave down in the lobby for use. The room had a pretty view toward the direction of the Arch. The Arch is in walking distance, which was nice. Overall good experience. Only problem, the HDMI port in the TV did not work, so I was forced to watch Hotel tv channels, and couldn't hook up my FireStick.

The view was pleasant, but it was kind of annoying to have to call to have the room stocked with things like toothpaste, and there was no way to turn off the glow from the alarm clock since it was phosphorescent.

Terrible customer service. Refused to honor a government rate when the room was accidentally booked at a full rate. Sink faucet leaked in my room. The toilet in my friends room turned into a geyser when the toilet in the room above him was flushed. No dressers in room. $4.00 bottles of water in the room for your(my) convenience . Found a used band-aid under my bed. Oh, and $30/night parking. Stay at the Hilton.

Shower water pressure is a mist. Parking garage is ridiculously high for self park. Staff is excellent. Very friendly aND helpful. Left an item in my room called back to hotel. They had it waiting, when I returned. Enjoyed the fold in the bar grill inside hotel, great friendly staff there too! Overall it was a good stay.

Nice hotel. Restaurants and bar on site. Nice views. Close to the arch and other restaurants. 11 minute walk to the America's Center Convention Center. No free breakfast unless you upgrade.

Staff are great, but self parking not included in rate, plus little access to areas to unload. Room was small and bathroom was straight from a motel 8. Nothing great. Westin for me next time.

This is a great hotel. Service was good. Staff was very professional. We had a corner king with windows overlooking the arch grounds and view was awesome. Breakfast buffet ($21) was good. Nice to have a starbucks in the lobby. Interrior decor of rooms, hallways, and lobby was flat and boring for a hotel of this general caliber.

Very large and very nice. It was extremely busy because it was a good day. The staff and other employees were extremely nice and a tentative. The only problem that we saw was that at the bar there were no prices for the drinks. When we went to pay for them they were outrageously priced. Like I can't even say how early price they were because it just seemed unreal. Other than that it was a great stay. The rooms were nicely stocked with towels and shampoo. And it was all very clean. We had a room that was in the view of the arch and it was a very lovely. We would stay again if we had to. No pool but had a gym.

Outside the hotel, you can see the 2 billion arches outside the hotel. It s very comfortable to go out with a puppy and stay with Hyatt. You don't have to add extra money to bring your pet. Unfortunately, parking has an extra 30-40 knives, but there are a lot of 20 knives and one night parking next door. It is convenient to have Fedex on the second floor of Starbucks downstairs.

We had a really nice stay here on our way across country. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was superb, our bell hop Vincent was especially wonderful and special thanks to JD at valet for being so accommodating with our over size van!
There is a Ruth s Chris Restaurant in the hotel which lived up to the top notch reputation with a view of the Arch!
Check out the City Museum too if your in the area!

As always Hyatt staff were amazing and very attentive. When they discovered that my wife and I were going to the zoo. The offered us to go containers to make a packed lunch with the items from their breakfast buffet which we had purchased. Made my wife's day! Thanks again for all they do!

The location was perfect if you are wanting to be downtown St. Louis. What they dont tell you is that if you want to park in their parking garage, it's an additional $26 per night! They told me I could go use the parking garage a couple streets down for less, just bad customer service. The room was fairly clean. There was a suede chair in the room that had several questionable stains on it, so that was pretty gross. Room has a mini fridge but no microwave. We didn't request a special view so ours was pretty bland. The window overlooked the hotel roof as far as the eye could see. We were attending a wedding about 3 miles away. This hotel offers no shuttle service. Had to take an uber both ways. Not sure if I would stay here again. There are a lot of other hotel options with more perks in the area.
