It was a hotel with the usual hotelly things. The complimentary toiletries offered was neat.
I can't say anything about the hotel staff cause I was there for Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. The waiters and receptionist were very kind and it's tough to beat the quality of steak they serve.
Excellent courteous and sincere service from every employee, and I dealt with at least six or seven of them. Shout out to Sheldon, August, Cris @ Brewhouse, and Jose @ Red, specifically, for making my short stay special. The executive suite, even without an Arch view was nice. Everything was clean. The crib was in place before we arrived, as requested (even with short notice). Parking cost was annoying, but reasonable, and it's nice to not be forced to use valet. I'll stay here again if ever in St Louis. Also, check out Kaldi's Coffee, a short walk from the hotel near Citygarden.
Great view of the arch and it was physically the closest hotel to the arch as well. Room was nice except there was room for another couch.
It was a wonderful experience being at Hyatt Regency St. Louis Misourri. People at Hyatt are accomodating. They served their client well. From information desk to room keeper. Every services extended in a warm and pleasing manner. Trully, if I may have another chance to visit St. Louis Misourri, I will still choose to stay at Hyatt Regency Hotel. Thank you Hyatt.
Great location and friendly staff. Many rooms with great views.
Excellent foyer with comfortable chairs great Wi-Fi and some places to buy a meal.
The Hyatt is a very clean and pristine hotel. There have been some technical issues at my conference and the staff are polite enough. It's got a great location and the facility itself is in great condition
Beautiful. Newly remodeled and exceptionally quiet!
Great hotel but a little pricey if your just looking for a place to stay and not take advantage of all they offer
Great location. Very close to the StL Arch and Busch Stadium. Nice rooms. Nice view too.
This place is beautiful, wish the parking was included in the room stay price tho!
Great restaurants and really quiet and we'll maintained rooms
My wife and I came to enjoy the weekend to remember conference. Our first night around 1 o'clock the room next door to ours came alive with loud obnoxious foul mouth people that tried three times to open our door I did call security they came And things quieted for 30 minutes and the noise level was back up until 6:46 AM needless to say I was angry hardly any sleep I stop down to the front desk they gave me a free Starbucks coffee gift card and another room . I guess we felt we deserved a discount rate for that night because of lack of sleep apparently they did not feel the same
Went for Cardinals event. Staff treats you like you're staying at the hotel. Great place.
Always good. Rooms are always clean. Staff is always friendly and efficient.
Got a view of the arch. Breakfast buffet was horrendous
Had an amazing time here for Mardis gras. Great location in the city too
Beautiful hotel, beautiful view. Good value unless their is a cardinal's game.
Nice hotel, great location. While the room was nice and very clean, the the sheets on the bed were scratchy and not soft at all.
They received us very kindly, they have a very good view of the city and the arch, the comfortable rooms, the only thing that would be to include breakfast.
Crisp and clean, the experience is definitely first class!
The hotel room was very nice and extremely clean! Staff was courteous and very accommodating. They even obliged when we asked for a room with a view.
Attentive staff and recently refreshed. Great location in town with great views of the arch. No idea about the internet service as I just used my phone. Breakfast was good, but a little pricey for the quality. Parking was a bit more expensive that I would expect for St. Louis so keep that in mind.
Super expensive. Parking isn't included and is expensive. The restuarant inside is super expensive. Other than being close to the event we were attending this hotel was a bust. Wont stay there again.
On a good note, the employees were all very friendly and the rooms were clean
Rooms are nice. Beds ate really comfortable and soft. Bathrooms are clean and well equipped.
Great hotel! It was really nice and the room was amazing! The only downfall was the atrocious parking. Their parking garage was over full with many people just parking along the walls
Had a pretty cool view of the Arch & new ferris wheel.
Nice hotel, nice staff, plenty of restaurants and a Starbucks and gift shop in hotel.
I would give this 0 stars if I could. I haven t even stayed here yet. I booked a trip here through Expedia and accident selected the wrong date. When I realized it the next morning and tried to cancel it they told me I couldn t and would have to pay the full $130 for the night. The sad thing is I was willing to move to the correct date a month away where the price has doubled. When I looked at the original booking email it said any changes would need to be made by 4pm cst in August 30th. Now I booked this at 4:21pm est August 30th. So I literally had only 40 min to realize this before I could cancel with no penalty. I was at work at the time and didn t look at my phone and this email again until after the 40 min timeframe. After talking to Expedia and them calling the hotel they said the hotel is very strict and will not cancel it with no penalty. So I am paying $130 for no reason and I still have to pay for a hotel when I go on the trip in a month. Needless to say I am very unhappy. Yes I made a mistake but apparently this hotel doesn t care about the guest experience only about the money. What happened to having some understanding and common decently to do the right thing? Oh and by the way my husband already tried to leave a review before and they deleted it, shows just what kind of people they are.
Parking was expensive along with breakfast, but a clean and well organized hotel.
Service was excellent. The room was clean. The food in The restaurant was ricca
Well what can I say the Hyatt lived up to its reputation, all of the employees were very helpful throughout my stay. The valet was overwhelmed when we got there but he was very gracious. The Hyatt is also in walking distance to the famous Sugarfire BBQ joint and to the St Louis Arch monument and museum. The American center is .06 miles from Hyatt on N 7th & Washington.
Good location near the arch, hotel catered food was great, friendly staff
My girlfriend and I got drinks. Staff was nice, but they gave us our drinks, both frozen frappes, about 3 minutes apart. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Drinks were good, and staff were friendly.
This is a very nice hotel. The staff is welcoming and professional. Check in was easy. The hotel is downtown; you could crawl on all fours to the Gateway Arch if need be. It is also within walking distance to Busch Stadium. My room was spacious and up to date. Any service I needed was friendly and fast. I will definitely be back.
Overall great hotel. Service was fast when needing more complimentary items and checkin/checkout was a breeze. Beds were comfortable and overnight stay was an experience I would be happy to have many times again.
Great location. Nice upgraded rooms. Fantastic staff.
Parking was $26, other than that everything was great. The Brewhouse restaurant was delicious (get the Mississippi Mud Burger), the room was very comfortable and they brought a tea kettle up for no charge. We had a view of the arch from our window, would definitely stay here again!
Nice hotel within walking distance of many St. Louis attractions.
My recent stay was good until the first morning my friend woke up with bed bug bites. I told the hotel and they said they would do an Eco Lab test overnight and let me know the results. The manager told me the results showed no sign of bed bugs. I asked if there was anything he could do because we had proof he was bitten at the hotel with pictures and he told me the only thing he could do was check the room again. What good will that do?! He told me to have a good day and hung up. If you want bed bugs, I suggest saving $300+ dollars a night and staying in a hotel that is known to deliver what you pay for. Yes, this is probably not common in a hotel of this quality but I expected better customer service than what I was provided. My stays at the Hyatt will be turned over to a hotel with better customer service.
Food was nothing spectacular, but still a good place
Although kinda pricey hotel is really good ,very nice..
This hotel is located near many restaurants and a Starbucks. The staff are very accommodating and kind. The Hyatt has a rewards program that is great. The rooms are heavenly. I'm really enjoying my stay.
Limited parking on Saturday and Sunday evening, but valet staff is great and even helped us with some car troubles. Hotel is recently renovated and obviously minutes from the Arch.
Management needs to take a hard look at FIRST IMPRESSIONS. This is a classy motel that should be nothing but a great experience. Arriving at this hotel, you will likely be greeted by the Valet that will advise you to pull forward if self parking. Then, getting out of your car you get smacked in the face from the employees that are smoking within 5 feet of the front door. Their smoke gets on your clothes and in your car. Management needs to review their policy on allowing employees and others to smoke right at the entrance.
Extremely nice, had an issue with our reservation. They were able to still accomodate is even on a fully booked hotel. So appreciative after a 12+ hour drive.
Very nice place in the heart of St. Louis. Clean with modern interior and anything you would need including a gift shop, bar, and restaurant.
I will never stay at a Hyatt, again. After driving 4 hours, non stop, to get to the hotel I ask to use the restroom. When I go in the public restroom, I am yelled at by the house keeper, because the floor is wet. There is no sign or way for me to know. I get to the room and have 1 towel and 1 wash cloth. When I call and ask for more they make me feel like I am bothering them. After a long day I go to get in the bed and realize that they have just used the same bedsheets the previous guest used and never gave me clean sheets. When I told the manager all she did was send an employee to give me new sheets and I had to put them on myself. I paid extra money for a suite hoping for a good experience, but would have been better staying at a Super 8.
Location, service, and aesthetic was nice. Only gripes would be the poor food, coffee, and breakfast options.
Stayed at this hotel many times. Great hotel. All staff members are curteuos and helpful.
Excellent Hotel, what can I say more than it was a great Hyatt. We had a somewhat good view of the Gateway Arch too!
Would have been ok if they just warn or include the cost of parking. You will have to pay 40 bucks a day for valet just fyi. Other then that it was fine
Clean, comfortable with the famous arch just across the street. Great staff.
This is a great place to hold events, and there are several restaurants to choose from.
What a mess trying to check in. Other than that it looks nice
Hotel is very nice, modern close to everything. Surprised there is no pool...
I am really disappointed. The room was not clean but the cleaning lady did leave a bucket with cleaning supplies in the bathroom. The signage is very poor when you are looking for where to park and we ended up using valet because we never could figure out where self park was. When we checked in the front desk staff was less than hospitable and provided no information on anything. She was semi rude when I questioned my reservation. I originally made my reservation for a corner room with an arch view. Then my Hyatt app sent me a message stating for 10$ more we could add access to the club on. What it actually did was boot us from our original reservation and give us a view of a brick wall. Truthfully I am glad because the only person who was accommodating was the gentleman who runs the club room. I would not stay here again.
