Front desk staff was nice. Room was a bit dated and the walls paper thin. Had the room next to ours try to get through the adjoining door and talking really loud ( loud enough to wake me) at 2:30 am. Not even fitted sheets on the bed. The pillows look comfy until you lay your head down and all the stuffing moves. Just goes to show that the high price doesn t necessarily reflect quality.

The hotel seems nice enough, nothing to write home about, you could likely get the same comfort at a holiday Inn express.

The parking is unacceptable. Their lot will always fill, making you have to park at "the mansion house" lot. This lot is where people disappear. No signs telling you how to escape the prison, no elevators. We essentially just walked back the way we drove in. We banded together with another lost soul for safety.

This hotel can't be considered four stars with parking like that.

Reasonable rates for a very clean friendly hotel. Location a short walk from the arch. Great beds but parking I felt was a little steep at $30. Two thumbs up and will start staying at the Hyatt chain where available.

Great hotel, clean and great service

Great hotel, clean and great service
Only problem was my wife was hit in the Head by the elevator door, which closed on her while trying to get her suit case out of the elevator, she wound up with a slight concussion and their insurance people couldn't be more rude and ignorant over this matter. All she wants are the doctor visit paid for and they treat her as if she wants to sue and own the place. For this reason they lost 3 stars. We'll stay at Hilton chains in the future

The hotel staff were kind, responsive, and prepared. The food was unusually good, with local selections for our conference. The event management went very smoothly. Overall, I have no complaints!

Great concierge and right near the arch. Was there for a business meeting in the fall and thoroughly enjoyed being able to run in the park that surrounded the park and three river. The trails are fairly extensive (for a short morning run) and very well maintained. You can run up the avenue also. Enjoyed the facility and would go back.

never again will I stay here. had a booking issue that they couldn't help me with, valet took an hour to find my vehicle, the room was literally so dusty your hand was white after touching the dresser. someone clearly smoked in the bathroom as it stunk like smoke. the restaurants were the best part of our stay. we won't come back.

Very nice hotel with a great location. My room looked out onto the Arch and the river and was a beautiful view. Nice brewhouse in the lobby area with good staff and decent selection. I was there for a conference so it was awesome to have everything right there.

Get ready to pay to much for a mediocre hotel. Staff interaction was awkward the first time, and then the second time the front desk attendant ruined one of my surprises for my wife by telling her before I even got to surprise her. They will make you pay $30 to self park your car in their empty parking garage per night. Why wouldn't that be included in the room price? Just not a great overall hotel, save your money and snag a place a little cheaper that's worth their cost.

The room was nice, but they didn't mention that parking was $26. Pretty ridiculous for a hotel. Almost everything has a big price tag on it. Not a big fan of this hotel and defintely won't be staying here again.

Our experience was great. Location was good, room had an amazing view, a tiny bit small but all we needed for one night. Service was great, $40 valet was hard to swallow but we were satisfied with the service!

Worth about $70 a night, seriously. Room on 12th floor was so small water didn't even get cold in faucet. No pool. How they can charge these rates is mind boggling. We paid $172 and rthday was discounted. Staff and service and service seemed fine but the rooms should be priced so much less.

The valet parking was a horrible experience we waited for over 40 to almost an hour before we got our car. Come to find out it was waiting for us upstairs but we were told to wait downstairs. NEVER DOING VALET HERE AGAIN! The rest of the hotel is nice though .

Eileen was very nice but the runaround she was giving us for a roo we had reaerved really made it a poor night for us. All we wanted was to get in since we had a little bit too much to drink and she stopped us due to a formality. I could understand it the hotel was booked but we had a reservation for the same day and she kept arguing with us about policy and since we were checking in early she would not accommodate us. There is protecting your job and there is common courtesy and I feel like there was no compromise between us whatsoever. Wont choose the Hyatt it i ever have to rent a room downtown.

The rooms were nice with the exception of the bedside lamps. The switch is so high that the only way to turn off the lamp is to get out of bed. Also the in hotel dining options are poor. In the evening they only have Ruth Chris's and a brewpub. The hotel restaurant is closed.

Nice hotel, nice staff. Expensive bar and restaurants. Room has no way to turn on a fan (for white noise) so all noise outside is very clear. Also, (nitpicking) the pillows are very flat. Parking on site is also pricey.

My favorite hotel to stay in while traveling to St. L! The hotel staff is more than helpful and the valet parking is super handy. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the wifi always works well. I love staying here. I prefer not to stay anywhere else after a Cardinals game!

Stayed here over memorial weekend. Fri-Mon. Rooms were clean, spacious, staff were friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Save yourself a headache and just pay for the valet, the parking is terrible everwhere during game times.

I purchased my stay at this hotel through a package on Southwest 5 months ago. I called numerous times prior to verify our stay wouldn't encounter any hiccups. Traveling with 2 small children of state can be nerve racking. We arrived about 3am on Sat morning to find there was no parking available, so we parked in a garage about a block down. The hotel charged $29 per night - this other garage was $16 but charged you per hour, so leaving and coming during the day got pricey as it didnt have in and out privileges! Hotel never had available parking the entire stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. We got an arch view room. I requested highest floor and got the 6th out of roughly 12 so that was disappointing. I had a reservatIon for a corner suite so I though the room would have more space - it was tiny for my family of 4. The second day we were at the zoo and I got a notification from my credit card company I had multiple charges from the Hyatt -(about $300 in separate charges) I panicked thinking someone was charging stuff to our room. So when I called tge front desk person said it was the hold and not to worry - I knew that wasnt it because the hold was also charged in addition - so I asked for manager. Then the woman who answered said they never got paid from Southwest so thwy used my card on file to charge room (first of all dont they do that on check out) Well Southwest paid that day so they said all I had to do was bring card to front desk and they can call bank and get it reversed. So I leave the zoo and rush back to the hotel. After an hour of dealing with the so called manager my husband started to get frustrated and then the real front desk manager came out. They admitted they were wrong and would fix it - but very disappointed in the customer service aspect. Our entire day into evening was ruined dealing with our credit card company. And the Front Desk Manager didnt even offer any type of compensation for the aggravation. In fact asked my husband to come back down the next day - which delayed our next day as well. I thought they were going to give him something and thats why but nope..she just wanted to make sure all was ok. Overall hotel, housekeeping staff, rooms very nice and worth every penny. Management - and front desk staff not so much. Beware booking through third parties and putting your charge card on file. They charge without you knowing. I wasted half a day and morning with this not to mention the added stress it caused - the hotel should of done something other than just fixing their mistake to begin with.

Great location, and the staff really treated me well. I screwed up and made a reservation for the wrong month online. When I showed up, even though they were very busy, they found me a room and even honored my discount rate--even though I checked in during Mardi Gras weekend. When I come back to St. Louis, I would absolutely stay here again rather than go to another hotel.

It's a fine hotel in a city that doesn't have a ton of stand out options. If this is what you end up with on a Priceline deal, you've done well. If this is what you booked because you wanted a "luxury" hotel, you should have searched for the Four Seasons.

Very nice room with a view of the arch.....for a $30 up grade. The room was beautifully designed ....and one of the most comfortable hotels I have been in. However, the windows were dirty as you look out at the arch. Additionally the restroom had some cleanliness issues
