The hotel is unique and beautiful. Or only complaint is we had no toiletries in our room. We called down to the front desk and asked for same. They were never brought up.
Outstanding atmosphere. Staff is friendly and room on the arcade is pretty nice.
Very unique hotel in a stunning historic building! Rooms were very nice and clean. Love that it was dog friendly!
Rooms were great! Hospitality was amazing. Everyone was so nice! Would def stay there again.
Absolutely beautiful hotel! Love the history! The rooms are also very spacious and clean. 5 stars!
It was a very beautiful old hotel, but I was really incredibly disappointed that our room was right next to a parking garage. Like open your curtain, and you can see the cars like 10 feet from you. It was impossible to see any daylight, and the ambience of cars screeching, honking, and getting their alarms triggered in the middle of the night was baffling. The staff was incredibly nice, but seriously, who allows a parking garage to be built that closely to such a historic building? The good news is it is located right in downtown Cleveland and you can easily walk to most restaurants, bars, and attractions worth going to. The room was also nice and clean. It was disappointing breakfast was not included with our room, because it was not a cheap stay.
Really neat, old building. Close to good bars and restaurants.
Great place to stay! Comfortable, friendly, and convenient to many restaurants and places to go!
I will start by saying the front desk workers were very nice, helpful, and the arcade is beautiful. That is about the only nice things I have to say about the hotel. I did my wedding hotel block there which was literally the most stressful part of my wedding (which is ridiculous...its a hotel for my guest and I to stay at? easy enough). Everyone I spoke to that some kind of title all gave me different answers for things. I had a large wedding and told them I would need at least 40 rooms for my guest (my sister got married the year before and thats how many she had). I was ENCOURAGE D to only book 20 rooms and "add as needed". I was assured it was no problem at all and typical thing brides do. As a bride I look to these people for advice and guidance as they do this all the time. I trust them to help me. Anyways, as my room block filled (quickly) I got an email saying there were no rooms for my block. I was furious because I planned a breakfast the next morning for my guest (mind you, through Hyatt so they were getting more $$$ from me) and I booked at 1500 shuttle bus for my guest to be picked up/dropped of at hotel. I wanted all of my guest there. They kept telling me there was no availablity for more rooms...then said "there are rooms but those guest have to pay the regular room rate and dont get a discount". So they had rooms which should of been for my wedding which I was promised. Katherine told me to book a "spill over" room block down the road at the Hampton Inn and my other guest can just "walk to breakfast the next morning". Umm...no. I don't want to ask any of my guest to walk at 9 am to get breakfast. After FIGHTING for 4 days straight and getting so many different answers from "head" people I finally got my 40 room block which is what I wanted from the beginning. Next, on the contract it says to deliver gift bags to guest it cost 3 something a bag. I asked, "can I just leave the bags at the front desk instead of getting them delivered?" and I got "no, we dont have room behind the desk". Okay fine. As I arrive to Hyatt I notice a cart of gift bags behind the desk. I ask the front desk "what are those" and they tell me they are bags for a wedding. I of course, confused, said "I was told you guys don't hand out gift bags behind the desk...are you charging them for it?" The girl said "no we hand them out...and no, we don't charge anything".
So after giving the hyatt about 60 rooms from my guest for my wedding (between thursday and friday) and booking a 80 person breakfast the next day I was treated very very very poorly. I had 1000 different things to worry about for my wedding and having a crappy hotel room block shouldn't of had to be one of them (which mind you there are 100 different hotels in Cleveland I could of choose and I am so mad I didn't).
The day after my wedding I went to a different hotel and upon arrival my husband and I had champagne, flowers, and chocolate waiting for us with a congratulations on getting married note. We stayed one night at this hotel with no room block. The Hyatt didn't do any of that for us and we spent our wedding night there. Never even acknowledged the fact we got married. Oh, they did leave us a note that said "thanks for booking with us and congrats". Yeah, you're welcome.
Oh also they put a $50 charge for each night you stay there on your card that you use and didn't tell any of my guest. I had to have people call them and ask why their bill was $100 more than it should be. Of course the answer was "oh it should drop off in a few days, they should of told you that". Again, just so poorly ran...everyone has different answers and clearly not all of their employees are filled in on things.
****So any brides looking for a hotel room block please please please do yourself a favor and do not book with the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade. Save yourself a headache and get treated like you deserve. *****
The rooms are very clean and close to a verity of food.
A friend was staying there. I picked him up to go to the airport
Loved our stay at this place! We were offered complimentary champagne upon our arrival and departure. Everything, I mean everything, is walking distance of the hotel. We caught the Indians vs Yankees game and roamed the area afterwards. Our room was perfect but the best part was the lobby (see picture attached). There was a wedding reception the night we checked in but the next day we were able to walk around. The entire area was sunlit - it was truly an unique space. Can t wait to visit again!
Great place, love the people and very beautiful rooms.
Beautiful storied hotel with great location and amenities. Enjoyed 2 night stay in the hotel and it was brilliant. Note that 2nd floor rooms might be a bit noisy-I asked to change as the room was over the bar. The arcade is amazing anday the hotel is located close to everything you want to see here
Really cool venue with everything you need in walking distance
Good combination of old Arcade and nee hotel. Great atmosphere.
It was rather confusing finding my room at first since there's two ends. Service was great. No issues what so ever. Will stay there again.
We had dinner at Pizza 216 and coffeeat Rising Star. The Hyatt provided a beautiful backdrop to it all.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
Attended for a friend's wedding ceremony and reception. The space was incredible. The layout was a bit odd, but still nice. The food was delicious. It was a good reason to visit Cleveland.
Hotel was beautiful and staff was great. We had absolutely no issues until we checked out and I checked my statement and they tried to charge $150 for smoking in the room (my wife and I have never smoked in our life) I was able to get it reversed but it really ruined my experience being accused of something like that. Will not be back which is a shame because it is a beautiful place
Best retro fitted facility I've ever been to. My room was outstanding, the 20 foot ceilings were Majestic
The location is perfect. Close to many restaurants, bars, and activities. The hotel is very unique, it is an actual historical landmark. A one of a kind experience.
Unfortunately this is the worst Hyatt I ve ever stayed at. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and kind. The building is old, but beautiful. The Valet was convenient and easy to find. The rooms were clean and a decent size. However the bed... was the worst bed I ve ever slept on at any hotel. The pillows were horrible. My husband and I are both in pain from our one night. We re actually both thankful that we don t have to stay another night. Hopefully they can upgrade the beds/pillows/linen to make this Hyatt live up to its name. Next time we re in town we won t stay again.
Great hotel in the middle of Cleveland!
The hotel is quite unique. Never stayed in a old renovated markethall before!
The building is beautiful! However, if you book a room with arcade views, make sure there is NOT a wedding going on. 10:30, and we have screaming and sweat dropped down my balls blasting. Due to age of the building, there is no great sound proofing. Advice- find a weeknight to stay here. Absent that, it s in a great location in walking distance to great food!
Just walked around the lobby area, was very pretty in there
I often eat lunch at a restaurant adjoining the Hyatt, but the hotel employees at the door are always so friendly. I live in town, so not much need to stay there, but I would recommend it to out of town guests.
It is a nice hotel but the bed I had a broken frame. If you get a room with an arcade view the weddings are very loud so if you are looking for a relaxing room dont get one with the arcade view.
Our daughter got married in the Arcade. Wonderful experience. Jamie and Allison are best wedding planners ever
Beautiful building. Rooms were nice and clean. Comfortable. The cable was not working, so viewing evening TV was a problem. The early morning attendants at the garage and valet we're slow due to their interest in their cell phones.
This decor throughout the Hyatt was top notch (it was the day before Christmas Eve). The price and service were great. But, the rooms were very small and a little outdated.
What a fantastic experience. Our room may have been a jewelry store, or amazing boutique at some point in history, now a guest room with a less than effective blanket. I am willing to look past the unfortunate blanket and half hearted turn-down service and still give this place 5 full stars for the atmosphere at this magnificent hotel.
Very beautiful place and nice staff. Room was kind of small but very nice and looks to have been redone since my last visit last year.
The Hyatt Regency is beautiful and the location was perfect for walking to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You are paying for the elegance and location. We probably would not stay again as it is not kid friendly and there is no parking. We had to pay $60 for valet for two days of parking. The room had two TV's so our kids could watch what ever they wanted but the cable had minimal channels and it did not always come in. We had breakfast at the 1890, it tasted good but we thought it was a little over priced.
Rooms are very affordable and are recently renovated. Tons of restaurants, bars, and event centers all within walking distance.
Convenient, clean and a very helpful staff. Across the street from Quicken Loans Arena
Also a multitude amount of very good restaurants definitely within walking distance
The hotel was beautiful. The room was very spacious. Room service was in styrofoam containers. Not ideal for an "elegant" hotel. The only real negative which may decide whether I choose to stay here again are, the weddings. When booking they dont inform you that there will be wedding receptions with noise. I stayed the weekend and both nights there were weddings with loud music in a echoing atrium that most rooms open. There was even open drug use at one of these events. I overheard one guest complain to guest services with no answer.
Manages to be modern while keeping beautiful historic architecture.
A beautiful hotel located in The Arcade- a historic structure turned into a hotel and shopping district.
The hotel is situated in the heart of town offering plenty to do within walking distance.
The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and neat, and the amenities are plentiful. Enjoy a stay here if you want to enjoy yourself.
Wonderful place. Beautiful space, Guest liked the large room and updated bathroom and appreciated the friendly, professional staff. Overall the experience was brilliant.
Beautiful hotel with legacy architecture and courteous staff members.
This is an older building. Which means you get the quirks that come with old buildings. Half the hotel rooms are off a central arcade. Which includes small shops, salon, and hotel quality restaurant. They host events in this arcade. Like weddings which we were unfortunately dealing with. Rooms off the arcade are loud subsequently. Very loud. Wedding went until 11 pm. Room was not very clean. Had an issue with sanitary situation that I won't go into. Hotel staff was accomodating and provided compensation. But the room was not clean. Architecture of the building was very cool. Location was good in downtown Cleveland. Not far from sports stadiums and casino.
Hotel was nice but Valet banged up my car and hasn't given me anything but an incident report...finally!!!
Very convenient location, super nice staff, very clean!
Beautiful hotel, facing the arcade is terrible for noise. We were made aware that there was a private party and noise was to be expected until 11 PM but well after midnight there is a guard/security person standing at on the lobby level not addressing the noise. This is beyond my comprehension. I've stayed on college campus hotels on game day and not experienced this level of noise. Completely disappointing from such a beautiful property.
We are at Pizza 216. We got the buffalo chicken pizza and poutine. Both were absolutely delicious!
it doesnt get more beautiful than the lobby of this architectural gem. Great location! very affordable! Great rooms!! Great nearby restaurants and entertainment
Located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, the Hyatt Regency is a beautifully appointed hotel. The interior is definitely reminiscent of another era, but top notch customer service.
The hotel is located in a beautiful old gallery. Unfortunately, the gallery is also used for parties. So on a Friday night, after very busy days of work, I got to the hotel hoping for some quiet time and found out that there was a wedding party going on. I called the front desk and was informed that the party was going to last until 11pm. I think I should had been informed about it when I checked in, and should had been offered a room in a quieter corner, not facing the party and having to endure loud music until late night.
Everything was great. I would definitely stay again.
Beautiful hotel. Love the area. Very clean. I will go again for sure
This is unequivocally one of the most beautiful spots in Cleveland. Not only did I get married there, but I have also done many portraits and events there as as a photographer. The staff are always wonderful to work with, the food delicious, and the building and rooms perfectly kept. Highly recommend! Images by Jennifer Elizabeth Photography.
Pretty good stay overall. the best location downtown as other areas seemed very quiet and slightly sketcht. Large rooms and quality room service.
Great place to visit, even if looking just at the view.
Great hotel in historical building. Great needs huge rooms and the front desk is so friendly
This was my first visit to the Hyatt Regency Cleveland. Even though my bag was lost by the airline and no one contacted me from the airline, the front desk staff contacted me immediately once my bag was delivered and brought it to my room. The staff was very friendly and knew a lot about the area. I look forward to my next visit.
The vallet personal very gepsy Un organized sell the guests to there high paid bribe transportation vehicles without levhry license or maybe no insurance
Nice newly remodeled room! Ours had windows on 3 walls! Very convenient location for exploring Cleveland on foot!
Went for a wedding was gorgeous beyond belief and the staff was on point! 10 out 10 would wed again.
The only problem I had was that there was no coffee cups in our room.
Gorgeous and comfortable hotel in an antique mall which is a work of art!
