Beautiful building. No hot tub or pool. The shower in our bathroom. Had hairs in it and the shampoo bottle was empty. Wasnt sure if they cleaned the bathroom at all.

Unique hotel in the Cleveland Arcade which has been beautifully restored
Front desk outstanding! Room was very clean and comfortable.
A historic place from 1890 with modern facilities. Valet parking is necessary.
Excellent stay, very professional staff and comfortable room. The location is top notch.
Awesome breakfast, actually open on Saturday AND Sunday
My husband and I stayed here for a couples weekend. The hotel was easy to access and we chose to use their valet rather than find parking on our own. The Valet service was steep at $34 a night, but I guess you are paying for convenience. The room was very clean and spacious. It had a great view between the library where you could see the stadium and a sliver of Lake Erie. I was expecting, from the advertising, that the Arcade would have many shops to explore while at the hotel; this is not the case. Only a couple and everything else is closed. The hotel does have access to shops and restaurants on the streets surrounding. I was woken in the middle of the night by a screaming argument in the stairwell next to the room that continued for quite awhile. In the morning, I was shocked that the hotel did not offer any type of complimentary coffee or breakfast for guests. They had a cart in the lobby with coffee that you had to pay a minimum of $2.50 for; ridiculous. For the price paid, I expected more. When I return to Cleveland, I will find different accommodations.
Nicely located downtown. Nice being part of the Arcade mall feature, although the mall is pretty dead. But it sure is an architectural gem. The room was great.
Amazing, grand, spectacular...words cannot describe. Staff was ultra courteous, shopping (within the hotel) was anything but scarce.
Only ate at the food court. The Chinese stand always has fresh food and is quick and cheap.
...everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff were professional and kind!..everyone went out their way to provide excellent customer service! The hotel is VERY convenient to stores, bars, great restaurants and venues including the Cleveland House of Blues and Quicken Arena! I definitely will stay here again!
Only visited the restaurants below the hotel. Diverse and affordable.
I loved it but I was drunk at a wedding, so it was easy to love.
The hotel itself is awesome and the arcade is a beautiful site to behold. This building also holds some awesome lesser known lunch spots like boney fingers and Cathy's ice cream sandwiches
Nice hotel- clean and historic.
5 stars for charm.
4 Stars for noise level & lack of privacy.
There are rooms in the tower and there are rooms at the arcade as pictured. The historic arcade area has rooms that all face the atrium. Therefore the noise level is high as it easily travels across.
There s also a bit of lack of privacy due to the nature of the rooms as the windows of the front part of the rooms gave the halls of the atrium. Similar to a motel style or an Embassy Suites.
Parking is $$$
Nice fitness facility
Hotel restaurant is decent (it s back serving fresh foods from a limited menu)
Fantastic location. Too bad the rooms were not better appointed. Bathrooms are dated. Lacks finishes to be cozy and lush.
It s ok, no parking so prepare to spend at least $40 additionally per day on parking, they host weddings and as a result there will be music pounding loudly until around midnight. When there is a wedding you ll have to figure out a way to sneak into the building, my family and I along with other guest who were already checked in, waited until someone exited on the front stairway to grab the gate before it locked, walk with our suitcases and children to the second floor, then hiked to the other end of the building, take the stairs down because we didn t have a key card since we hadn t checked in yet, and finally arrived at the reception desk, this is after we walked in 20 degree temperatures with horrid wind chills, carrying our kids and luggage for what seemed like 3 blocks from the parking garage. I will never stay here again but I figured it would be good for someone considering this location to know what they re getting themselves into. The hotel manager was kind enough to provide us with complementary breakfast on the first day we were there, however the parking charges were still pretty ridiculous.
The arcade is absolutely stunning, and the room was beautiful. We stayed in a king bed arcade view. There was a wedding going on the night we stayed but was given plenty of notice to change rooms if we wanted. The wedding was a lot louder than I was expecting, but it ended on time and didn't run late. I will definitely stay here again.
Very nice hotel. Way over priced, and an average room. We reserved a room with a "king" bed, it was the smallest "king" I've ever slept on! We were on the second floor and put all the way in the corner. For the 400.00 plus dollars just wasn't what I would expect.
Staff very friendly. Room was nice and clean. Room service (room delivery) tasty and prompt. Only "complaint" elevator noise - pretty loud mechanically. Not much you can do about it except don't get a room near the elevators if you're sensitive to noise. Oh and the building is absolutely gorgeous. Great stay!
My room smells terrible and the internet is so slow
The only thing that upset me was the fact that they nickeled and dined you. Parking was $22 a night but it was in and out service. If you order room service remember there is tax then a $3.00 delivery charge and then a 21% tip added.
We return every year. We enjoy the location, the architecture. The hotel is beautiful, the service is extremely good.
One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen. Our room was spectacular. The security is top notch.
Incredible venue for a wedding. Wonderful rooms and great food. Will definitely stay there again when in town.
The Arcade is a wonderful place to stay in Downtown Cleveland. Be sure to check out Pizza 216 and Rising Star Coffee (which are in the same building) when you stay.
Great clean awesome staff awesome attractions. I will never stay anywhere else but here! Thank you for a fantastic visit!
Cool location. Near Progressive Field and The Q. The arcade is a nice place to walk around in with some interesting shops.
The staff here is wonderful. The building and architecture is breath taking. One of a kind nice updated spacious rooms in a secure building around all major attractions.
It was great. Smooth check in and breakfast was great, especially those potatoes room was nice view sucked but you get what you pay for. I got the arcade view not the city. Overall great experience and great staff.
Great service and the valet guys did an awesome job with time, no issues there. First time ive used the texting option which makes it better. Room has a fridge and coffee pot but no microwave.
Looooveeedd this hotel! Gorgeous architecture and the location is amazing if you are looking to explore downtown Cleveland
Incredibly loud, lots of noise from the streets below, even on the higher floors.
Poor valet service, time waiting to get cars and to get cars checked in, esp for the $30 price tag. Though this was at night. Daytime service was good and friendly
In general a poor impression of the staff minus the pleasant front desk and cleaning.
The arcade is pretty though.
Very nice rooms and love the bedding. Stayed here for a business trip and had a great time. Be careful if they have an event on the weekends like a wedding because it can get pretty loud.
Beautiful place. We walked through during an event and it was very pretty.
This is a very nice hotel right in the center of downtown. Leave the car with valet parking and walk to shopping and restaurants. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Mr. Freddy works in the 1890 restaurant is the greatest. He will greet you in the morning with a smile and "Good Morning!".
Very nice Hotel... Very Clean from start to end. We would stay there again for sure. Less than 20 minutes to the City of Cleveland, lots of food choices in the area.
Cleaning personal was very nice from the limited interaction.
Rooms were nice and the event was setup in an orderly fashion.
The location is the best part of the hotel. We have a great view of E.4th street. But the room wasn't very clean (tables were dusty, carpet was stained.) I realize and appreciate that this is in an old building, but some new carpet, a good cleaning, and maybe an arm chair that doesn't appear to be straight out of someone's grandparent's basement could really improve the stay. There are much nicer and cleaner places for $149 a night. Also, $30 to park is a bit ridiculous when they are charging that much for not a great room. I don't mind splurging on a nice hotel, but this really wasn't worth the amount of money we spent.
Very comfortable and clean. And a 10 minute walk from both football and baseball stadiums.
1809 lounge has phenomenal pancakes.
Very centralized, walking distance to Cavs game. It is an older room, take that as a plus or minus, as it is a feature of the building. There is shopping in the hotel as well, and a couple nice restaurants.
Nice room for the VIP Suite room, wish there was more light in the bathroom and more outlets but overall nice room.
This hotel accepts doing weddings normally happens the weekend, very noisy not able to sleep. Also security block access in and out of the hotel becomes a bit difficult then proof you are a guest. OK
Went there to eat at the chocolate bar. It was delicious and the service was great!
The hotel has a good location, great aesthetics, and adequate service.
Very spacious rooms! Very clean as well. Beds and pillows are comfy!
The building is very nice, rooms are spacious and clean. Very convenient area of the city
Work paid for my hotel room, but had some issues with that at check-in. The rest, however, went well.
The shops were great and everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Gorgeous building, but you can tell it's a bit older. Rooms are very nice and have been updated, but hallways are showing some of their age.
What a cool place!!! Historical building that is drop dead gorgeous. Lots to look at in the building. The history of this place is awesome too! Beautiful! Rock on Cleveland!!!
Pretty and clean hotel, super convenient location too
I enjoy the selection of stores in their food court.
Had a wonderful stay but some of my bags that was in my car was stolen in there parking lot in a over night stay.
Toilet paper was out in my room and not replace by room service. Building works ongoing at the hotel. My room was next to the building waste shoot and skip collections and work seemed to be continuing overnight. Noise outside kept waking me up.
The rooms were very nice spacious. I had a really nice view of 4th st. Very clean room and provided bathrooms attached request
I spent a lot of time in this grand old building as a kid and young adult. My father had a store in there and it was a thriving lunchtime mecca. Later, as a young man I worked at a couple places in there, and for a while I restored the antique brass framing everything. I hadn't been back there for 20 years. Definitely a unique place and worth a visit.
Nice hotel, with the rooms converted from old offices and storefronts facing out intothe arcade. Very clean. Some rooms are overlooking a parking deck, if you are a light sleeper you might want earplugs. The on-site cafe is cute and has good dishes, although it's a couple bucks more than you'd spend out in the burbs.
Excellent customer service start to finish! Quiet rooms and great city view!
An amazing place staffed by incredible people Ann the manager of events is incredible. Very informative and very kind. I am so excited about my wedding in August. Also very thankful for how uncomplicated she made the whole process.
We have not stayed her yet but will be next weekend! I have called a few times with special requests and everyone at the front desk has went above and beyond especially Cole! We cannot wait to celebrate a family wedding and stay at this beautiful hotel!
