The service was very good service. The food was good, but a few times they forgot to put some items out on buffet. Considering the price point of this hotel, the room were clean, but the iron didn't work and the ironing board was crooked. They seemed to take a longer than typical time to service the rooms. Overall a lovely place.

A beautiful resort, but was disappointed that it was hard to get ice (machine didn't work, had to go hunting for another), clean towls (seems there were never enough or they arrived late), and had to ask for the free bottles of water (or pay $5 at the bars!) A resort fee is a joke! The employees were very friendly.

We use this place for work retreats and training events. The food and staff are great and we continue to come back year after year. The grounds are amazing and the views are spectacular!

This was the perfect DAYCATION for my birthday. Everything was 5 stars it felt like I was on a tropical vacation outside of Maryland. There are so many activies for you to do here The Spa, 3 pools one with a water slide,an infinity edge and indoor heated pool. Drinks and food were delivered to your cabana or chair. I didnt get an opportunity to participate in what this property had to offer but I'll definitely be back- might make this a monthly trip.

Great place to go even in the off season. We went right before Christmas and it was beautifully decorated for the holidays and we enjoyed the fact it was not too crowded. They had lots of activities for families such as a heated indoor pool and two conference center sized rooms full of inflatables for the kids to play around in. The latter was a surprise and our little one had a blast. The restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The view from our room was lovely. Walking around the deserted harbor with the family was so beautiful and great for pictures because no one was around it being the off season. I look forward to going back when its warmer.

Boated over as part of a bachelor party and docked right out front, very convenient. The hotel has impressive pools and family amenities. There are sand volleyball courts, mini golf, and they showed a movie on a projection screen at the indoor pool. We ate some good food at the downstairs bar where a band was playing. The only difficulty was getting out to the town. There is no shuttle available and had to pay an employee getting off their shift to drive us to rat, the brewery. Once we got back, the room was comfy. I would go there again.

Hyatt River Marsh Golf Club is home to a championship golf course that ranks with some of the best in Maryland. This tree-lined and open parkland layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.

I was there on a company meeting so I don't want anyone upset. Let's just say I wasn't as happy as the last time I was there. Room not ready. Room not cleaned properly. Coffee maker not cleaned and no sugar. Breakfast was terrible. WAKE UP CALL WAS 2 HOURS LATE WITH A OOPS - SORRY ABOUT THAT REPONSE. REALLY. I will say as I have said before - a BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!

Cosy and comfortable place with very nice spots. Good for small family vocation, any kind of events as weddings or business and also for individual relaxation. Hotel is nothing without exquisite workers who really make weather here. Thank you so much for guys in pool bar. And especially for Marvin. Our favourite waiter. The level of service is simply incomparable and of the highest quality! Highly recommended! Especially for special events. High intelligence, every calibrated movement and special attention. Thank you so much for great time.

Amazing place inside and equally amazing outside. Came here for a business conference and I can't wait to get back for a personal trip. Holiday decorations were on point, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the entire place was welcoming.

The day of our check in, I called around noon to find out if we could check in a little earlier. We were traveling with our two kids: a 2- and a 3-year old. The male person who answered the phone told me that our suite was ready and that we could come at any time.
We arrived around 1 p.m. just to be told that our suite was not ready. I explained to the front desk male clerk what I was told on the phone. He said that he was going to personally call room service to make sure our suite was ready "soon." This was aggravating to us but unfortunately, it was not the end of it.
We went to the bar near the lobby to have a drink and wait for our suite. Our two toddlers usually start their naps between 1:30 and 2 p.m. so we thought we had some time.
When it was 3:15 p.m. (more than 2 hours later) I went to check if our suite was ready or at least close to being ready. I was told by a female front desk clerk that the suite was not ready yet. I could not believe that from noon all the way to 3:15 p.m. these Hyatt employees could not put their story together and send a cohesive message to a customer. In that period of time, I had spoken to 3 employees and all three gave us three different answers!!
Bottom line, after hours of waiting, we managed to check in. If you have toddlers, you know how difficult they get when it is nap time and they are tired. We were traveling with two!!
The infinity pool was very cloudy. On our third day, I heard a lady ask a lifeguard why the pool water was so cloudy. He did not have an answer for her. She said my grandchildren are coming later on today and they will putting their faces down this water. I am sure their dad will be very upset at this.
The indoor pool had many flies and other bugs in the water. I cleared at least ten of them from the water because I did not want my kids to swallow any of them or to be swimming around them.
When we were at the infinity pool, we ordered two beers. More than 1/2 later, they beers were not there yet. I went to ask two waitresses that were walking around chatting and socializing what happened to our order. They couldn't tell me but they went to find our waitress. She had completely forgot. Totally unacceptable. Later the same waitress was asking us if we wanted to order anything else using her words "I promise I will do better this time."

I expected better from Hyatt. If you find another place, stay away from this one. The price is high for the service they deliver.

I stayed overnight here for a work offsite event. The room was great, food was great and there were plenty of activities. The hiking trails are lovely and there are some incredible views. I would visit again.

Great getaway location whether with the family or someone special. The pools fill up on holiday weekends as occupancy increases. Not much in the immediate area outside of the resort. Many small historic waterfront towns within 30 minute radius. Walmart is across the street if you forget anything.

We really love this place!

We really love this place!
Relaxed atmosphere, clean and modern rooms, amazing view and good food.
The kids had lots of fun by the pool!

The con? They should keep the facilities around the pool cleaner.
It would be nice if someone would clean the tables by the pool now and then...

We have stayed here many times over the years. The water view and grounds are priceless to relax outside. The quality of the Hyatt experience has continued to go down. Additionally, we now have kids and there is no baby/toddler swim area which is a huge factor missing for a "resort". The game room is usally disgustingly dirty. The "resort fee" has continued to increase but the amenities have not improved or gotten more diversified. The food is okay at best (Great variety on the breakfast buffet). The gym is well equipped and usually clean. The lobby bar has great "easy" food and drinks and staff is usually very friendly.

I just returned from a mid-week 3 day stay here for work and it was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. They have many pools, indoor and outdoor, they have an enclosed beach volleyball court that is lit at night. The room I had was very clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the entrance. The bar below the lobby was a little expensive but great for mingling as it wasn't too loud.

This was a great resort for families! I am big into tennis and we spent hours on the tennis courts. Courts are pretty good. They provide balls and rackets but only for VERY BEGINNERS! If you're a player bring your own balls and rackets. Room was spacious and nice. We had a king room on the 6th floor overlooking the golf course. Room temperature was great and the blinds kept the room dark! There is a mini fridge that was really nice to have. Overall, it was really fun and pretty dang nice. The one bad things is the five foot snake we saw on the mini golf course at night. It was big but minded it's own business.

I love this hotel. The staff is so warm, welcoming & helpful. The view is beautiful. There are lovely places to sit and relax both inside & outside the hotel. The large fire pits outside with rocking chairs are wonderful. Pool & jacuzzi are great as are the restaurants & market place. I just wish that they would put in queen sized beds rather than the doubles.

I think that the amenities are wonderful. Particularly for a family with small children and extended families, it is perfect.

It is noisy in the corridors on the first floor, where our two rooms were located. I heard dogs barking during the day and into the evening hours quite often, which took a little getting used to. And I love dogs.

My only real complaint is the buffet on Thanksgiving day. I feel that it was very disappointing. Having been at Tides Inn in Irvington VA last Thanksgiving, I was beyond disappointed by the eye appeal of your buffet, which goes with the overall presentation.

I was told when I made reservations for the buffet that there were two options for the Thanksgiving buffet: the full buffet and the modified buffet. For that reason, I looked forward to not being overwhelmed with too much food. I am a very small person.

When we arrived in the ballroom, I asked how the modified buffest was handled. I was told that there was no information about such a thing. I spoke with and made my 12:30 dinner reservation with the kitchen/food division of your hotel weeks before the holiday itself.

You can imagine my surprise when no one knew of the promised deal. I had a modified meal - not very much - as did my husband. The bill came and the same surprise occurred when I asked the floor manager the same question. We paid for the full buffet with no more questions. I asked the front desk. Still no information

SO - I feel that your Thanksgiving buffet was a huge bust. It was not hot, was not very inviting, and was very limited. I so appreciated the lavish and beautifully presented buffet we had enjoyed the year before at Tides Inn.

The rest of your food service was fine during our stay. The staff could not be more wonderful. Nothing was too much. But the holiday dinner was not very good and even if I had been able to eat copious amounts of food, it was not tempting. It was easy to eat very little. The desserts were pathetic.

I am glad to have tried your hotel. Many of the experiences were above average. I hope my remarks will make next year's dinner more special. We will not be back for Thanksgiving.

Many thanks.

Wonderful all around. Great location with astounding views of the bay. You can catch some wildlife early mornings and even late at night- everything from herons to deer! Nestled in its own little space with all the amenities needed for office retreats- conference halls and shared bedrooms. There's a gym, health classes, swimming pools (indoor and outdoor). a golf course and even a gaming room! The food here was decent but could be better and bit more diverse. Also, they really should give guests water options- perhaps filling stations considering they are in a ecological fragile area. Overall, great experience.
